Her hands fumbled with the cabinet's door, flinching as it creaked loudly while opening, her breath stalling as she strained to hear any indication that someone had heard her, then hurriedly flipped through each book that was upon its shelves. "Where is it? I know its in one of these…" Frustration filled her as the answer she looked for remained lost despite her going over each page carefully. If it wasn't here, then where was it? A shriek threatened to slip up her throat as a hand grasped her shoulder from behind but it was cutoff by an exhale of relief as she embraced the figure then lightly smacked Seto's chest. "I'm so glad you're okay but don't ever scare me like that again."

Sapphire darted over her being, noting the sheen of sweat covering her skin and that the once expensive bridal gown was now no more valuable than a paper clip. "What are you looking for?"

"Mother's journals, there should be one here but it's not," her eyes combed over every book's spine one last time then closed the doors, taking care that the click and creak of the hinges were as quiet as possible. "Did you have Mai move them or something?" Instinct flared when no answer came and she was just quick enough to dodge to the left as he made a grab for her. The need to question his sudden action evaporated when she glanced over her shoulder in time to witness his features morph and eyes darken. "Where's my brother?"

"And here I thought we could play this game a little longer." The illusion wavered then dissipated, leaving her face to face with Bakura as his tentacles reached for her. "You are the sole being whom my sister bestowed her own scale to. Once I have consumed you then I will truly be complete!"
