Yugi glanced over his shoulder once the silence had stretched into minutes and allowed the protective field he had cast to dissipate as he spotted the unaffected pair behind him. Mahad had barely managed to warn him about the summoning song when the first note reached their ears but the quick casting of the merprince had saved them from the forced transformation that came with it. They were safe for now. The confidence of that thought wavered within Yugi's mind as a dark shape appeared in the distance. "Sorry to interrupt you two," he lightly tapped their shoulders. "But what's that?"
Mana and Mahad's eyes widened, their casting coming to halt as they too spotted the fast approaching shadow. "We might want to move," she grabbed their wrists and rose to the surface, practically hauling them up onto land as the giant being surfaced with a mountain sized geyser of water. "Cause I'm pretty sure he isn't going to be happy with us forcing him to come here." Lavender widened. The answer to his unvoiced question came in the form of a heated stare as a single eye locked upon them.
