PART 1: PROLOGUE: SCENE 1: Hero's Fall

"DEKU!"

Izuku's neck was grabbed by a villain, raising the young hero to their eye level, "Is this really all you've got? Just some uncoordinated attacks and these... Quirks?" The man threw Izuku against the back wall of the alley. "To be honest, I expected more from you all, UA's top students."

The man just kept walking towards the defeated students. Each of them beaten and battered in some form or another. Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida, Jiro, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, even Todoroki and Bakugo weren't spared. They were all undeniably defeated by just one man.

To say this wasn't what any of them planned today would be an understatement. Who would even plan for a villain attack? Well honestly with everything they've been through, they should have. Today was just supposed to be a regular school day after the sports festival and their internships. It was decided that a few days after everything began to calm down, they all would hang out for a time. They originally planned to go to the mall with all of 1-A but conflicting schedules prevented that for the time being. Today though, the six plus a hesitant Todoroki and an adamantly reluctant Bakugo were all just hanging out. That was until they met this man.

"When do you guys think we won't be recognized?" Uraraka asked the group as they walked.

"I don't know, the sports festival is the most watched event in the world." Momo responded.

"It's starting to get annoying being recognized everywhere." Jiro commented. Even if she wasn't in the final round, she was still recognized from time to time.

"Hey Bakugo, how do you feel about all the attention?" Kirishima asked. He's the only reason Bakugo's even here in the first place.

"Tchk, I don't care, shitty hair, I'll be the number one hero regardless of what those extras think." The angry Pomeranian shot back.

"Bakugo, heroes serve the people, you can't just brush them off like that." Iida tried to correct him but to no avail.

As they argued, Izuku and Uraraka continued to talk.

"So Deku, what do you think Mr. Aizawa's gonna have us do next" She asked her green haired friend.

"Given his nature, he'll probably have us do another Quirk assessment test to see what we learned so far. With everything that's happened already, it wouldn't be a surprise he'd want to test us some more." Izuku started to mutter, the other's trying to catch what he was saying.

"That would be within his character." Todoroki absent mindedly commented, a quick, suspicious glance to the other side of the street accompanying it.

"I doubt he'd give the same tests again though." Momo added. "It would likely be more of his rational deceptions."

Izuku nodded along with that. "Yeah, we already would know what's coming if he didn't change them." He muttered, "So what would he even replace them with?"

"Whatever it may be, we should all study up when we're done for the day." Iida said.

"Hey, can we all not talk about school while we're not at school?" Kyoka asked in slightly humored seriousness.

"Yeah, we've still got the rest of the da-"

"Excuse me." Came a voice came from in front of the group. "Are you all students from the sports festival?"

The eight turned to see a man in casual dress, nothing too outstanding about him in all honesty.

"Yes we are." Iida replied, robotically stepping forward. "I am Tenya Iida and these are my classmates." He introduced.

"Could I get all your autographs then?" The man kindly asked, pen and paper in hand.

Looking between each other, the eight couldn't see why not. They each took turns signing before ending with Bakugo who scoffed as he signed. Handing it back, the man had an appreciative smile on his face."

"Thank you." He thanked, "This will be quite useful."

Before anyone could make out what he meant by that, a purple ball of something stuck Bakugo, sending him flying into a nearby alley. In their moment of shock as the seven remaining students looked to where their classmate flew off to, another ball of the same purple material struck Todoroki, sending him flying as well. Now that two of their friends, two of the three strongest in the group mind you, were sent flying, everyone turned their attention back to the man before them.

Said man had two balls of miasmic energy floating in his hands aimed at the group. "And this. This will be quite useful indeed."

The remaining students got into battle stances, quirks at the ready if it comes to it. The two sides stood there for a moment that felt like an eternity before the man shot the two balls towards the group. Fortunately for the students, they were just able to dodge the blasts but were now separated with Izuku, Uraraka and Iida on one side and Jiro, Momo and Kirishima on the other.

"We need to call the police!" Iida called out as the man let loose another blast towards the other three students.

"Wait, where is everyone?" Ochako noticed, there was not another living soul around them.

"I don't know but I don't think it's a coincidence." Izuku reasoned, "He has a powerful quirk and it seems like he planned this." The man continued focusing on the other trio who were running every which way.

"Izuku?" Uraraka asked, noticing that look in his eyes.

"Midoriya, we don't have hero licenses, we can't use our Quirks!" Iida noted, also seeing the look of justice in his friend.

"He's dangerous and we don't know why he's after us." Izuku said. "We can't just do nothing while he attacks us."

"Oh how touching." The man said, surprising the three. More blasts hit both Jiro and Kirishima simultaneously while Momo wasn't looking to good either. "You have the power and don't fight back. Ha!" He sent another, darker ball of energy towards the remaining trio.

This one was faster and managed to hit Iida before they could react. While this one seemed to have slightly less power to it, it seemed to have the result the man was looking for. When Iida tried to use his engines, he found that he couldn't. That surprise was enough for the man to hand the speedster his ass via another miasmic blast, throwing him away from the two remaining students.

"Uraraka, I need you to lighten me." Izuku quickly said.

"R-Right." She stammered slightly but quickly did as asked.

With Izuku lightened, he quickly made his way, fist drawn with One for All flowing throughout, towards the man. The man however only grinned, disappearing just before the punch could connect in a dark, red misty light. Confused as to what happened, Izuku heard a scream from behind him. Turning around, he saw Uraraka being batted away with the blunt edge of a sword into the same alleyway where everyone else seemed to have landed.

Getting angrier by the minute, especially after his friends were downed so easily, Izuku just had to ask, "Who are you? Are you with the League!?"

That got the man to pause. "Ohh, can't say I'm familiar with any leagues here." He stepped toward the hero student. "But I'm guessing they've given you trouble before. How… interesting." A blackened purple ball of energy was quickly summoned and shot at Izuku's abdomen. This forced him down onto a knee as the villain approached closer.

"DEKU!" Uraraka cried, the only one lucid still from what he could guess.

Grabbing the hero's neck, the villain lifted him up, "Is this really all you've got? Just some uncoordinated attacks and these... Quirks?" The man threw Izuku into the alley and stalked his way closer, to all of them, again. "To be honest, I expected more from you all, UA's top students."

He confidently strolled into the middle of the battered group, unwavering in the confidence he exuded. For the students, they were in a pain unlike anything they've felt before.

"But I guess I shouldn't have expected a worthy fight anyway. So now… It's time for… all of you… to… DIE!" The man screamed, raising his right hand above his head. An entirely black ball of energy that was so large it covered the entire alley appeared in his raised hand.

Right before he could release it however, his arm and entire right side was encompassed in a layer of ice. Looking behind himself, the man saw a strained Todoroki trying to stand defiantly.

"Well it seems like you still have some fight left in yo-"

"DIE!" Bakugo shouted and shot his own explosion towards the man.

This stunned him enough for Izuku to get back to his feet, One for All charged, and charge towards the man. The man who seemed to realize just what was happening widened his eyes in shock. He knew his limits

"No, no, No, NO!" He screamed as all three hero students attacks came together upon him. "I WON'T LET YOU TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME!" In desperation the man fired off his blast, a bright purple and white flash exploded outwards with the power of the sun.

Once the light faded in the aftermath of the explosion, all that was left was ruined buildings and the lone man on his last legs. The man stood for a moment before falling to his knees then onto his face, his last breath one filled with pain now released.

As soon as the man died, all the noises, lights and damage exploded outwards in a cacophony of battle. Soon pros and police arrived on scene to find no one but the deceased man. It would take much longer to figure out that the hero students of UA were the ones who truly suffered in this attack, long after anyone could do anything about it.

Eh, the start of an idea. Nothing too serious, not until we reach three houses. Bye.
