It was about a month later when Dazai and Chuuya noticed that Atsushi was interacting with them more. The three of them were out on a date when they noticed. Atsushi had been walking in between them when suddenly he grabbed both of their hands causing the both of them to falter in step. They looked at him with wide eyes as they came to a complete stop. The youngest looked at the two of them with a silent question in his eyes. His eyes had brightened more into their true beauty as time went on, both of the alphas loved it. Though this was the first time Atsushi had initiated contact with the two of them. They normally had to be the ones to grab his hands or caress his cheek or even kiss his cheek. They honestly thought they weren't making any progress. Squeezing his hands the alphas gave him a smile as to say that nothing was wrong and that they were happy.

Even though they were happy, they were still concerned as Atsushi still hadn't been talking. A new symptom also seemed to appear the more lively Atsushi became. The young omega started having night terrors that sometimes scare the two alphas as they didn't know how to calm the other. They took things day by day; some days were definitely better than others. Taking that into mind they didn't expect their soulmate to actually initiate anything. They could feel their soulmates burn pleasantly as the three continued to walk. Walking back into the apartment the three of them sighed when the conditioned air hit them. It was a sweltering day so they were relieved to be out of the sun.

Atsushi sighed happily as he collapsed onto the couch. He was glad his two alphas were taking the time to show him that they truly do love him. He still had his moments where he didn't believe them and it would take him time to recover. Those days he knows hurts his soulmates as it was a reminder to them. A reminder that they let their omega down. He felt the two alphas move him so his head and legs were laid on each of their laps. He opened his eyes to see Chuuya looking down at him with a soft smile. He could see love in brilliant blue eyes that shone like gems. He smiled back before closing his eyes again. He could hear Dazai turn the tv on as Chuuya ran his fingers through his hair. He still hadn't forgiven the alphas but he was on his way to. He was still scared that they would just up and leave him at any point. The two of them hadn't even really left him truly alone. They would always switch off on who Atsushi goes to work with and if there was a big mission he would stay with Dazai specifically. The ADA members have been trying their best to help him in any way possible.

Chuuya continued to run his fingers through Atsushi's fluffy white hair as he and Dazai watched some action show. He was glad Atsushi was finally letting them in. Though he was worried. He was scared that they had done irreparable damage to the omega. It had been weeks since the young male talked to anyone. He hoped that his youngest soulmate would talk soon. He missed hearing Atsushi's voice. He glanced over at Dazai to see the other focused on the show, rubbing Atsushi's legs subconsciously. He knew Dazai was blaming himself the hardest as he was the one to come up with the plan in the beginning. The slightly younger male took to spoiling him and Atsushi as a way to make up for it. No matter what he said he wasn't able to convince the brunette that they were both at fault equally.

Dazai sat there lost in thought as he rubbed Atsushi's legs. His brain was on overdrive as he tried to think of ways to make it up to his two mates. He needed to be enough for them. Taking himself out of his thoughts he looked over to see Chuuya with the softest smile. It was a smile that exudes warmth and love. One that made you feel like you were home and safe. A relaxed quirk of a smile was on Dazai's face as he took in the sight. He loved watching his two soulmates interact. He knew he didn't deserve either of them but he also couldn't live without them. When he first distanced himself from Chuuya he felt a certain bitterness towards himself. His attempts at suicide had increased to a point where he actually thought he would finally succeed. At this point in his life, he had lost one of his best friends that he viewed as a brother. Then he made it even worse on himself by leaving Chuuya behind. He never regretted anything more than that moment as it resulted in him almost losing one of his soulmates.

He loved that Chuuya was so soft toward Atsushi as he was still learning to let his emotions out around them. He felt at home with the two of them and he didn't want anything to change. He leaned back, his eyes fluttering closed. He was going to take the moment to be wrapped up in the warmth that filled Chuuya's apartment and actually allow himself to be happy. He relaxed to the point that he fell asleep holding tightly onto Atsushi's legs.

Atsushi opened his eyes slowly when he felt the hands-on his legs relax completely. He smiled at the sight of his alpha sleeping. He hadn't really had many chances to see the older male sleep. Dazai normally was awake before either he or Chuuya. So they normally never get to see him relaxed and vulnerable. He wished his two alphas would open up to him. They still hadn't told him the exact reason as to why they ignored and rejected him. He felt the hand in his hand relax as well. He smiled as he heard the snores from the Port Mafia alpha. He was glad the two most guarded people trusted him enough to sleep around him. As he laid there he attempted to talk, he wanted to be able to talk to his soulmates. He wanted to actually communicate with them on how he was feeling. He needed to be able to tell them how he felt. How he was coming to forgive them. He knew it would take a while to fully forgive them but he would eventually.

As he tried to talk he thought about the date that his two soulmates took him on that day. They had taken him to the aquarium and he couldn't have been happier. He had never been to the aquarium because of the orphanage keeping him locked up. He was amazed when he looked at the variety of fish and other aquatic animals. He had never seen something as beautiful as the deep blue water that caused reflections upon the area. It made the place look magical like something out of a fairytale. He knew that his alphas were just as memorized as he was. What he didn't know was his two soulmates were more memorized by his smile than with the aquarium. He was also excited when they went to the gift shop and saw all the plushies that represented the aquatic animals and fish. He was shocked when the two alphas bought him a giant plushie of the dolphin they saw. He was also glad that they had someone take the plushie home for them as it was giant and would have been uncomfortable to walk with. After thirty minutes of trying to talk and getting nowhere, he huffed. He was determined to talk and he didn't mind finding means to do so. He knew he needed to talk to Ranpo.

Pulling out his phone he realized there was already a message from Ranpo. He rolled his eyes as he knew he should have known his best friend would already be on top of things. He texted his friend back saying they should meet up tomorrow so they can start working on getting his voice back. He wanted to surprise his mates with it once he did get his voice back. He figured it was fair not to tell them for a while. He smiled when Ranpo confirmed their meet-up and turned the phone off. He looked at his two alphas and took a deep breath. He could feel himself relax when he took in their scents. It was enough to make him yawn. He slowly fell asleep wrapped up in the warmth from his mates.

About an hour later Chuuya woke up to the tv blaring some info commercial which made him groan. He searched for the remote, finding it by his alpha mate's thigh. He quickly turned the tv down. Once it was at a reasonable level Chuuya looked over at his mates with a smile. They both looked so peaceful sleeping. The setting sun shone through the ceiling to floor windows illuminating both of them. It was a breathtaking sight to the small executive. He was glad he and Dazai had finally got over themselves as they wouldn't have this happiness that seems to always wrap around them when Atsushi was around. Atsushi and Dazai felt like home to him. He slowly and carefully moved Atsushi so he was leaning against the younger alpha. He wrapped a blanket around the two of them then headed to the kitchen. He needed to make dinner for the three of them. He chuckled when he remembered when Dazai tried to make dinner for Atsushi. In simple terms, it was a disaster.

Flashback

Dazai smiled as he looked at his omega and alpha mate curled up in each other sleeping. He wanted to do something special for the two of them since it was mostly his fault that they had to go through such heartache. Staring at them he got an idea. He smiled widely as he got out of bed and headed to the kitchen. He was going to make the best breakfast that those two will ever eat. He moved around the kitchen grabbing items from the fridge and pantry. He was going to make pancakes and eggs for them.

Chuuya grumbled slightly as he woke up slowly. He could smell something burning but it didn't register in his mind that it was a concerning smell. He heard yelps coming from the direction of the kitchen as he laid there holding Atsushi close. His eyes snapped open when he finally registered Dazai yelling and the smell of smoke. He quickly yet gently removed himself from Atsushi and headed to the kitchen. When he got there he stood in shock. Batter covered the kitchen along with eggs. The kitchen being a mess was an understatement. It looked like a tornado of food came through the kitchen. His mouth dropped open when he saw a burnt to dust pancake in the pan with Dazai trying to kill the flames that were coming from it. He calmly grabbed the fire extinguisher from under the sink, turned the stove off, and put out the fire. He moved rather mechanically as he was slightly in shock at seeing such a mess. Once the fire was put out he turned to Dazai to see him covered head to toe in eggs and batter. He stared at the other alpha for a moment before bursting out in laughter. He had to grip his stomach as he was laughing too hard. There were tears coming out of his eyes.

"Chuuuuuya!~ It's not that funny." Dazai pouted as he stared at his alpha mate. He didn't think any of this was funny. He just wanted to make his mates something delicious to eat. He didn't realize how hard it actually was to make sure things didn't burn or try not to get batter everywhere. He didn't know how he himself got covered in the batter. He watched his soulmate laugh with a small smile on his face. He couldn't remember the last time he saw Chuuya laugh so brightly. He couldn't help but chuckle at the amusement coming off his alpha. He heard a slight sound come from the bedroom door and stared in horror. There stood Atsushi staring at the two of them with amusement. He could barely handle the chibi seeing him like this now his precious Atsushi saw him. He could die now.

Atsushi whimpered when he didn't feel either of his alphas next to him. He quickly opened his eyes, still being half-asleep to see they weren't in the room. His thoughts raced as he sat there. He wondered if they left him or if they were ever truly there. Was he left alone again? Did they truly not want him? He bit his lip as he looked around the room, it was then that he heard laughter burst through the apartment. He felt a wave of relief course through him. He silently slipped out of the bed and headed toward the laughter. He stopped in the doorway in slight shock, he took in the sight of Dazai covered in what appeared to be batter and Chuuya clenching his stomach laughing to the point of not being able to breathe. He giggled when Dazai pouted at the alpha. He was glad neither of them had left him. He watched with amusement as his brown-haired alpha met his eyes with horror. He continued to giggle as he walked up to Dazai. He wiped some batter that was underneath chocolate eyes with a soft smile. He then turned to his other alpha to see him finally calming down.

Chuuya wiped his eyes from the tears falling. He hadn't had a good laugh in a while and it felt good. He smiled as he watched his two mates interact so softly that it made his heart warm. He shook his head as he watched the brunette pout again as if to remember that Chuuya was laughing at him.

"Dazai, do I even want to ask how this happened?" He raised an eyebrow placing his hands on his hips.

"I was just trying to make you guys breakfast but the food apparently didn't like that and decided to fight back."

Dazai's answer just made Chuuya laugh again but this time with Atsushi. Only their alpha would be this childish to blame the food. Once he calmed down he started to gather all the messy equipment. It was time to clean the mess that was Dazai and kitchen. He glanced over to see Atsushi glare at the ex-mafioso, pointing toward the bathroom. It seems that Atsushi wants Dazai to bathe. He chuckled when he saw Dazai pouting and hanging his head walking to their bedroom. He smiled as he focused on cleaning the kitchen. He realized when finished the dishes that Atsushi had told Dazai what to do without saying a word. It seemed like Atsushi was finally getting comfortable with them.

End of Flashback

He smiled at the memory as it was the first time he and Dazai heard Atsushi giggle. It had been so long since they had heard anything in the form of happiness come from the young omega. He put his hair up into a ponytail as he looked in the fridge to see what ingredients they had. He bit his lip in contemplation thinking about what he could do. He saw some packaged crab and his eyes lit up on what he could make. He quickly got to work as he wanted to finish before his soulmates got up. Setting the crab to simmer in the pot he caught a glance at his wrist. He smiled as the one side that was once almost gone was now deep grey. He knew it would take a while for the mark to turn black but it still filled him with joy that the mark was returning to normal. He glanced into the living room to make sure the other two were still asleep. He felt himself melt at the sight. Dazai had wrapped Atsushi up in the blanket, holding him close. Dazai had his head resting on Atsushi's as he slept. Chuuya took out his phone and took a picture. He made that picture his wallpaper screen so he could constantly see his mates even when he was away from them on a mission.

Atsushi's nose twitched as his sense of smell picked up the scent of something delicious. He slowly opened his eyes to see a covered-up chest. He glanced up to see Dazai sleeping peacefully. He didn't remember moving so he thought maybe Chuuya had. He looked around to see that Chuuya was in the kitchen. He smiled as he heard his shorter alpha humming while mixing something. He untangled himself from Dazai and the blanket, tucking Dazai in it. He made his way over to his soulmate, knocking on the counter so he didn't startle his mate. He saw Chuuya whip around with wide eyes before they softened. Atsushi walked up to the alpha and gripped onto Chuuya's shirt tugging it gently. He tilted his head in question to ask if there was something he could help with.

Chuuya smiled at Atsushi's offer to help. He knew Atsushi wanted to do all he could. It pained him to know the reason why. He knew Atsushi was trying to prove himself useful and that he was worthy of his and Dazai's love. He ruffled the omega's hair before pointing to the table.

"You can set the table Atsu, dinner is almost done." He watched the other grab plates and chopsticks before setting the table. He finished up some seasoning before plating the food. He had made crab stew and takoyaki. Once the table was ready he walked over to the mackerel to wake him up.

Dazai was woken up gently to the scent of crab. He looked like a kid in a toy store. He hurried to the table not even giving his mates a second thought. He immediately started to dig in as crab was his ultimate favorite food. He let himself drink in the sight of Atsushi and Chuuya eating with him. It was at this point Dazai knew he wanted to live for these two men. He wanted to experience this comfort every day.

Two Months Later

Atsushi was currently with Ranpo trying to work on his speech. About two weeks ago Atsushi was finally able to say something from the practice Ranpo made him go through. He of course kept this hidden from his alphas as he wanted to surprise them. He smiled at his best friend when he was finally able to talk for a certain amount of time before his voice gave out again. His throat was sore from talking after not being able to for so long. He had been so worried that he would never speak again and never really be able to tell his alphas how he truly felt. He had nightmares about his alphas leaving him because he couldn't talk. Even though he knew the two wouldn't leave him, the fear was still there.

He was happy that the agency was helping him recover and to keep his alphas in line. Little did the agency know that Atsushi knew they threatened his alphas. He was glad that they cared so much for him but at the same time he didn't feel it was necessary. He was slowly forgiving them as the days went by and the both of them sticking to his side whenever they could. He was elated that his alphas seemed to be opening up to him more. He was also ecstatic that his alphas seemed to be smiling more. He was always worried that they would never really be comfortable with him but he was glad to be proven wrong. He was bouncing in his seat by the time Ranpo had told him they were finished for today.

"Thank you, Ranpo." His voice was raspy but it felt good to actually talk to his best friend again. He watched as his best friend smiled at him like he knew something Atsushi didn't which was probably the case. They continued to talk as they ate their sweets from the cafe they were at. Atsushi knew that Ranpo was still pissed off at his mates but there wasn't much that could change that. The only thing that could was Ranpo seeing his alphas take care of him. He appreciated everything that Ranpo and the agency did but they had become overprotective. Atsushi had to sit his best friend down and write everything he was feeling. He needed them to back off so he and his soulmates could work on things together. After the agency backed off a bit Atsushi was able to spend more time with his alphas and their relationship had progressed.

Walking home Atsushi lost himself in thought. He was thinking about how he was going to tell his alphas that he has his voice back. He hummed as he walked with a slight skip in his steps. It was when he passed by the park that an idea came to him. He could tell them when they go on their next date to the park next week. He smiled brightly as he thought about how he was going to do it. His alphas would surely be surprised. Walking into Chuuya's apartment he noticed his bandaged mate was lazily lying on the couch. He tilted his head in slight confusion as he could have sworn Dazai had gone to work. He silently moved toward his mate with a curious gaze. As he got closer he noticed the other was sleeping with his headphones on. He smiled gently as he took in his alpha. He removed the headphones before covering the alpha up with a blanket that laid across the back of the couch. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss onto the side of his mate's lips. He stood back up and headed to the bedroom.

Dazai laid there pretending he was asleep when he felt his headphones get removed. He knew Atsushi had come home as only the omega had such a sweet scent. He didn't move a muscle, didn't even breathe when he felt Atsushi place a kiss on his lips. When he heard the bedroom door closed he sat straight up with a bright red face, staring at the bedroom door. That was the first time Atsushi had somewhat kissed him. A smile took over his face as he realized that he could tease Chuuya about it. He shook his head in happiness as he laid back down. He had something special planned for his mate for their date next week. He was going to spoil them as much as he could as it was the least he could do. His mates deserve the whole goddamn world. His alpha and omega were the lights of his life and he was going to try his damn hardest to keep them by his side. Now that he has gotten a taste of life with them he could never go back. They have him wrapped around their fingers. He closed his eyes again to relax as he waited for the chibi to get home.

Chuuya walked into the apartment around 4 hours later exhausted. Work had been hell with missions and reports back to back. He remembered one mission that caused him to miss his mates that were back at home. He was glad he was home as he just wanted to crawl into bed with his soulmates and just cuddle. He yawned as he placed his hat and coat onto the rack by the front door before shuffling into the living room. He glanced at the couch to see his alpha lazing around. He huffs before heading over to him.

"Dazai, have you and Atsushi eaten yet?" He watched as the other grinned at him, shaking his head. He sighs as he didn't really want to make dinner. Deciding on getting take out he pulled out his phone and called their usual place. Once the order was placed he headed to the bedroom to change. He smiled as he saw Atsushi spread out on the bed playing on his phone. He quickly headed to the bedroom so he could at least shower before dinner. When he entered the bathroom he saw pajamas already out for him. Atsushi had gotten everything ready for him before he came home. Knowing this made him feel so loved and warm. What did he ever do to deserve such an amazing omega?

When the food arrived they all quickly ate before heading to bed. Atsushi was in the middle smiling as he was held by his mates. Their soul marks burned pleasantly as they cuddled together. That was how the three of them fell asleep. Both alphas curled around their omega with smiles on their faces.

Date Night

Atsushi and Chuuya were slightly unnerved when Dazai had yet to stop smiling ever since they had woken up that morning. They knew their alpha was up to something but they didn't know what. All they knew was that it had something to do with their date night. Atsushi was nervous for their date night as tonight would be when he finally talks to his mates. He was currently sitting in their bedroom practicing what he was going to say as his mates were currently at work. It took a lot of writing to convince them both to go to work and leave Atsushi home. He was glad that he was able to convince them as now he could practice all he wanted. He practiced facing the mirror saying the words over and over. Once he felt like he practiced enough he started to get ready for their night out.

Dazai skipped all throughout work causing the agency to be a little on edge as they knew whatever Dazai was planning it was nothing good. Though what they didn't know was he was just happy about his date tonight with his two favorite people. He planned the best night out. He would be taking them to the park but what his mates didn't know was he had Akutagawa set up a picnic that overlooked the river. He also set up fireworks to go off after they were done eating. He couldn't wait to see his mates' reactions.

As soon as Chuuya got home he went to change so he and Atsushi could leave soon to meet Dazai at the park. He dressed in a red wine cashmere sweater with ripped black jeans that went with his hat that he just recently bought. He looked at himself in the mirror approving how he looks before meeting Atsushi in the living room. He took in the sight of the oversized purple wool sweater and black leggings the omega wore and couldn't help but be memorized. His omega was absolutely breathtaking. He and Dazai really got lucky that this pure angel was their omega.

"You ready to go, Kitten?" He smiled at the omega softly, slowly walking up to him. He gently caressed Atsushi's cheek, placing a kiss on the other one. He pulled back to see Atsushi smiling brightly. He took the omega's hand and led him out of the apartment.

Atsushi followed his alpha silently with a nervous but bright smile. Today was the day and he was scared. He knew that his alphas were patiently waiting for him to talk and he hoped that Dazai didn't catch on. Ranpo did say that neither of them had a clue so he was trusting his best friend. He couldn't wait to see their faces when he first spoke to them. As they walked, Atsushi wondered what Dazai had planned for him and Chuuya. When they walked further into the park both he and Chuuya stopped and stared. There stood Dazai in a blue button-up shirt with black slacks and two bouquets of roses in his hands. They both just stood there as Dazai walked up to them and handed each a bouquet of flowers.

"For you my lovies!~" Dazai exclaimed before placing a kiss on Chuuya's cheek and then Atsushi's. He loved seeing their shocked faces and couldn't wait to surprise them more. Dazai couldn't stop smiling as the date went as they all had an amazing time. Atsushi communicated with them via the notebook that Ranpo had given him months ago. They shared laughs and stories of anything and everything. When it was time Dazai made Atsushi stand in the middle of him and Chuuya before pointing to the sky. He could see from the corner of his eyes the confused looks his soulmates gave each other. When the first firework went off he could hear them both gasp. He turned his head so he was watching his mates' faces light up. The colors of the fireworks seemed to make Atsushi's and Chuuya's faces glow. This is what Dazai wanted. The happiness of his mates.

Atsushi stared at the sky in amazement as this was his first time seeing such a display of fireworks. He couldn't keep the happiness off his face even if he tried. Knowing that his alpha set this up for him and Chuuya it was then that he knew. He knew then that his alphas were going to stay by his side no matter what. He knew that they would love him even if they knew of the full history of when he was in the orphanage. He looked at his soulmates biting his lip as he knew it was time to tell them. He gripped onto the sleeves of his alphas' shirts getting their attention. When they turned to look at them there were tears in his eyes causing his mates to freak out. He shakes his head to tell them that nothing was wrong. When both alphas looked at each other it was time. It was now or never.

"I forgive you." He smiled at them with so much love and forgiveness. He watched as both alphas whip their head towards him with wide eyes.
