A new Player had been selected and he has been placed into the One Piece universe. With his prior knowledge of the world, and being dropped off 2 years before to the start of the series. How will he changed the world for the better or worse? Action packed/Overpowered MC/Side Quest in different universes

8. Chapter 8

I headed to the Corrida Colosseum, the good feeling coursing through me. It had told me to head to the place where it all started and so be it.

I followed my lucky instructor, my body moving on its own. I finally arrived at the Coliseum, finding an empty arena. I looked to my left, then to my right and shrug turning back the way I entered. But before leaving, I reached into my inventory. A pull that I had all the way back in Thriller Bark, seemingly glowed in my perspective.

I pressed the item. Nothing happened for a moment and so I shrugged once more and left the corrida colosseum with haste.

Once I was clear of the arena, rumbling began on the ground, as if a calamity had entered the area. A sandstorm began to brew in Corrida Colosseum but I could care less, my body is guiding me towards the castle, seems like I am meant to head that way.

Donquixote Doflamingo was leisurely going over his daily trade transaction, but instead of having a relaxing afternoon, news broke out that there was a sand creature raging all over the colosseum.

A vein popped out from the top corner of his head, immediate frustration filled his thoughts. "What now!" He called out, Viola was quick to observe the situation, using her clairvoyance to view what the commotion was about.

What she saw was destruction, in the form of a giant sand creature. But the scary thing was, the giant sand creature saw her looking at it. Its mouth formed what seemed like a smile before unleashing a powerful breath strike that began at Corrida Colosseum, and made a hole onto the castle, where Viola was standing.

Doflamingo pulled her out of harm's way before another vein threatened to pop on his forehead. In an instant, Doflamingo made a mad dash towards the colosseum his anger aimed towards the giant sand creature. He brought out both hands, unleashing a line of strings, then as he got close to the sand creature, he brought both hands over one another and sliced it right down the middle. The creature let out a roar, not off pain, but out of glee. It only took a few moments before it reattached itself to its severed body.

Doflamingo grimaced at the sight, the creature was easily big enough to fill the entire battle floor, and yet being cut in the middle did no damage to it.

"Damn you Crocodile, why are you in my territory..."

I had an urge to return to where I came from. I must have burned more than half of the effect already mindlessly going around the island, but it was still in effect so therefore I followed the feeling that it was giving me.

I happily made my way to the coliseum once more, but opened my two gold coins from the Harry Potter Side Quest.

With my luck being insanely high, I used the first gold coin. Sure enough my intuition was correct, as with the boost of Felix felicise on my side.

I observed the pistol, turning it against my hands as I admired the power that was given to me. One shot to kill anyone and anything. The power of a literal god. Should I use it for Doflamingo, end his tyranny but there are bigger fish to fry. I will be able to attain a power that will far exceed that of Doflamingo, so maybe I will save it for now. I stored it in my inventory and moved on with the second coin. Sure enough, it turned out to be a game changer as well.

Another item that I won't use unless absolutely necessary. There was no place in the One Piece world where I could think of using such an insane power without causing damage to innocent people. Again I must store that item for later use.

I was a tad disappointed that I could not use anything from my pulls but the items I was given were very powerful. True to their nature of being SSS items, they could change the status quo of the world or any world for the matter.

With the effect of Felix Felicis still coursing through my body, I was instructed to make a detour through a dark alley way.

I then found Trebol, pressing a woman against the wall, with his other discussing snot hands under the skirt of said woman.

"Oh hey Daeh, I'll join you shortly." Trebol had a sick smile on his face, as if he has been preying on woman for far too long and this behavior was accepted by the family.

Not to me. I retrieved my dark saber, showing it to Trebol. He had a confused look on his face, finally letting go of his victim. He then had revelation, finally realizing what I was doing.

"You don't want to do this Daeh..." Trebol warned, though I was not having any of it. The battle group was a dark alley way, Trebol was very gooey and my weapon was something that required touch. I was going to take a page out of Zoro, cut him so much that he had no time to regenerate.

So I charged forward, Sun Breathing: Sun Flower thrust, the tip of my blade was aimed towards the neck of Trebol. Despite the thick goo, I got close to hitting his neck. He managed to get out of his sticky shell and make another one, encasing me in the nasty substance.

[The Force] I unleashed the force to pull the sticky substance away from me, to the surprise of Trebol. He then created a massive sticky hands to come down on me. Sun Breathing: Flame Wheel. I rotated swiftly, evaporating the sticky substances in a swift motion. But my attack did not end there, I needed to get close to Trebol.

Thunder Breathing: Thunder Clap. In an instant, I was below Trebol, too fast for him to realize. His defense was thick but I was quicker. Water Breathing: Surface Slash.

The head of Trebol came flying off, but no blood trailed his severed body.

"You damn traitor, you damn traitor!" The severed head spoke, cursing me violently. But I had enough of Trebol as he was nearing his end. I knew this wasn't my time to die just yet, I was lucky after all.

"Good bye." I turned my back, with Trebol looking around in confusion. For around him, the soon to be former Club suit of the Donquixote family. Shadow figures surrounded Trebol as he slowly regenerated into his frail body.

"Mer...mercy..." He trembled in fear, but my summons were not having it, viciously attacking Trebol onto his death. He deserved far worse for what he's done. But so be it. {Moria} got the last strike, severing the head off of Moria with his brand new shiny scissor blade, Extase. This time there was no recovering for Trebol. Good riddance.

To add insult to injury, just like {Eneru} I will make Trebol be my servant for the rest of his days. [Arise]

{Trebol} C has joined my ranks. I gained some experience for killing the little shit, but not much. I rose to [LVL 95]

I then proceeded to head back to the colosseum, where I found a massive tanuki beast made completely out of sand. I blinked for a few times before opening my inventory. It was then that I learned that the item for the [One Tailed Beast: Shukaku] was no longer there. I wondered whether I should help the Donquixote family, it seemed like they had no idea how to fight the sand creature.

But Felix told me to help, and so I helped. I brought out my dark saber, rushing towards the giant tanuki and aiming for its head. To close the distance, I used Thunder Breathing: Thunder Clap, and to finish the sand tanuki, Sun Breathing: Sun Chariot

I twisted in the air catching myself from the acceleration of the thunder clap, I then brought the force of my dark saber clean through the neck of Shukaku. I swiftly placed Shukaku back in my inventory to show to the family that I had defeated the demon. Doflamingo, Diamante, Vergo, and Pica looked at me in confusion, where they were unable to succeed against the beast, I had.

"Excellent work Daeh." Doflamingo landed gently beside me, traces of the sun remained on my dark saber. "How did you defeat the creature?"

"I have no idea..." I responded, Pica and Diamante now joining Doflamingo.

"It's as if the creature had a timer, disappearing at a certain time. I feel as though our Daeh just arrived right when the creature is meant to disappear." Vergo answered for me which gave me some relief. I didn't have to come up with some excuse thanks to the bamboo idiot.

"Hmm I see, who do you think this could be Diamante?" Doflamingo turned to Diamante who had a knowing smile over his face.

"No one else but the croc in Alabasta could have done this." He then licked his sword in the disgusting way that he does. "Want me to take care of it?"

"No, I need all my suits here. I'll send Buffalo and Baby 5 instead." Doflamingo proceeded to leave the colosseum. "Where the fuck is Trebol?"

I smiled internally, yes Doflamingo where was Trebol?

"Good work rookie." Pica said in such a high pitch voice that I could barely hold in my laughter. Luckily Pica didn't notice and followed after Doflamingo. Diamante and Vergo both gave me a thumbs up before following after their captain.

I sat back, the happy feeling seeping out of my body. The effect of Felix felicis no longer in effect.

I managed to create a problem, solve the problem I created, gather some strong items from the pull system. . Overall it was a good use of the potion though a bit underwhelming.

Dressrosa Castle

Viola had been in the infirmary, recovering from minor scratches that she had received from the attack by the sand creature.

Though she heard some good news, Daeh defeated the creature but she still worried for his safety. She wanted to check on him but her injuries were something that needed to be looked over. She could not go, not yet.

...

I found my way into the kitchen grabbing myself some food and headed to my room. I then closed my eyes, getting some much needed shut eyes. Even though I didn't need it, It was nice to do once in a while.

My shadows continue to create the map of Dressrosa for me, one step closer to mapping the entire island.

Not even 12 hours has passed since the end of the sand tanuki fiasco and I was woken up by the strong emission of Haki by only one man in the entire castle.

I made my way to the direction of the haki surge, finding Doflamingo with a poor soul on the end of his hands.

"Fuck you." The cracking of the neck of the captive person was sickening, and yet not a single person in the room flinched. He noticed my arrival, signalling for me to get close. "Buffalo and Baby 5 have been captured by Crocodile. Their demands are to not interfere with his operations or they die."

"I'll fucken kill them, gut them for what they're doing to our family!" Diamante volunteered but Doflamingo raised his hands.

"He knows who you are, and everyone else in our family...everyone but you Daeh." Doflamingo looked in my direction, to which he smiled.

"I'm on it." Looks like I have a little quest before I come back to kill Doflamingo. Felix felicis worked after all.

I hadn't thought much about it really. I was put on a mission to head over to Alabasta in order to confront Crocodile of the Warlords. With my prior knowledge of the series, I was aware that Crocodile was strong, as he only lost to Luffy due to underestimating the loveable rubber boy. With having a quest party slot, I wondered if I can bring them over to the One Piece world as I bring them over to the other worlds.

I was stuck in my own thoughts when my quest line updated.

Even with my knowledge of the One Piece Universe, there was no revelation of what Pluton is other than a ship, maybe I'll have to pay Franky a visit. But the location of Uranus is tempting though just like the Perona mission, this seems to be destined to fail. There was some time before my ship would reach Alabasta, Doflamingo provided me with a full crew and the fastest ship he had available to bring me to the land of the desert.

I was inside the captain's quarter, not really needed on the deck, and so I pulled out my portal gun to check on all my available destinations.

The list was pretty good, but seems like I needed more locations in order to fully transverse the One Piece world. In due time though. I intended to check up on the status of my arrival in Alabasta but a sudden rumbling began all around the ship. If I knew any better, we were being attacked, but by who? Who would attack a ship flying Doflamingo's colors?

As I was about to exit my room to join the fight, it seemed like a peculiar quest text popped up before me. I opened the door while viewing the quest line and a rogue pirate with a sharp cutlass came at me. I was about to block it and end his miserable existence but the system had other plans for me.

Side Quest

[Unable to gain experience from a side quest. Time will not pass in your current location when you return...]

Strange and yet I wasn't given the option to accept or decline the quest. I was immediately transported through the portal without warning leaving me at the mercy of the pirate who attacked me when I returned. I was not even given the chase to accept or decline the quest. The quest line was short enough that I felt like this would be an in and out mission.

If I was given the choice, I would decline the mission since I needed to take care of Crocodile so I can go kill Doflamingo, but I was not given the opportunity to do so.

I was thrusted into a speeding train, on the rooftop no less. I must have been in the third car from the front, where the action was presently taking place.

I recognize this from a movie I watched in my timeline, this was the Mugen Train, where Lower Moon One took hostage a moving train and killed people in their sleep. Luckily, the demon slayer corp had sent the Flame Pillar along with a group of strong willed individuals to investigate the situation.

This was the universe where I obtained my breathing style, as well as the demon slaying ore. And without much hesitation, I pulled out my dark saber summoning my shadows around me.

"Protect the passengers." I ordered my shadows all of which disappeared into their destination. My eyes darted to the front of the train where I found the main character of the series, Tanjiro alongside Inosuke teaming up to fight the strongest of the Lower Moons.

Tanjiro and Inosuke were working well against the locomotive, where Lower Moon One had fused itself with the entire train. I had intended to assist them but I felt my mana deplete rapidly.

It seems like my shadows had run into the demon slayers. Regrettably I cut open a hole on the roof and hopped into the stomach of the beast, where Lower Demon One had made the train into the lining of his own stomach. Slithery creatures manifested from the walls of the lining and attacked me but I cut them down with ease.

Though something came quickly through the cars of the train, and along its speed, my shadow creatures were disappearing at a rapid rate.

'It must be the Flame Pillar.' I thought and in a matter of instance, he was before me. His speed was hard to follow, but my reflexes allowed me to generate a water breathing technique, raising my sword to the sky to catch his blazing strike.

His eyes were deep with flaming passion, his form was sturdy and commanding. Yet he was able to read me in a single strike.

"Your shadows?" Asked the flame pillar, Rengoku was his name.

"Yes I'm here to help." I answered.

Rengoku 'Flame Pillar' +20 Respect

"Excellent." He states simply and disappears in a trail of blazing carnage, not a single movement wasted as he sliced at the demon creatures growing from the walls. My mana did not go down and my shadows were free to assist the passengers.

Rengoku was a real intimidating presence, I didn't even get a chance to observe his level. Regardless, there were people to save, especially since the train was violently derailing. Tanjiro and Inosuke must have slain the demon. I needed to save the people to prevent injury and also to ensure that Rengoku was in top form to battle the upper moon three, also known as Akaza.

I dashed through the corridor, picking up sleeping passengers and running outside to drop them off the train. I did this while the train tumbled, yet my grasp was only up to three carts. I had to rely on my shadows, along with the demon slayers in order to save the people.

Side Quest

1 Kill Lower Moon One(Complete)

The train came to a rough stop. Out of the 200 passengers, none had died, all thanks to the combined effort of the demon slayers and myself. A rogue train cart detached from the main train and rolled over a hill, with its momentum, it would have crashed into several of the unknowing passengers. That did not happen as {Kalgara} and {Moria} cut the train into pieces, not a single piece of metal could hit the passengers.

"Nezuko~~!" Zenitsu, the loveable yet annoying member of the demon slaying trio was comically chasing after a small version of Nezuko, who was hiding behind {Eneru}. "Shadow creature, unhand my fair lady!" But Zenitsu was shocked by the shadow lightning of the thunder logia, minimal effect on the thunder breathing user. "What is this?" Zenitsu felt the black lightning course through his body, as if the shadow lightning had somehow found its way to fuse with Zenitsu's body.

I kept my shadows close to the normal citizens, as the main event was about to begin.

Rengoku had been conversing with Tanjiro which gave me the opportunity to [Observe] their stats.

He was truly a marvel, much stronger than I had anticipated. And yet he lost to Akaza, only the third upper moon. It is due to his humanity that he lost, but with me here, I will not allow it to happen.

Tanjiro

Level: 67

Class: Demon Slayer

Tanjiro was a mere child, thrust into the world of demons and slayers. His level was a bit lower than expected but it must be the creators will to keep him alive.

In a matter of instance, Akaza had arrived, his dialogue about wanting Rengoku to be a demon was despicable and the two engaged in combat.

Tanjiro tried to get up to help but he was too wounded, good or he would die. Inosuke couldn't jump in the fight as the two fighters were very strong. In fact…

Akaza

Class: Upper Moon Three

Akaza was just as strong as Rengoku, and the only reason he won was due to being a demon. But I was here to prevent his death. Without any hesitation, I brought out my dark saber and boosted my speed with my waver shoes. I zoomed past Tanjiro and Inosuke and blocked the punch of the demon with my sword.

"A new challenger?" Akaza looked at me, his eyes filled with killing intent. Rengoku had a momentary look of confusion but he knew that I was on his side.

"A little help?" I was losing against the bare fist of the demon, his power far surpasses my own. This is a testament to the power of the demon, and the hundreds of years of training was beneficial as well. I can somewhat keep up with his speed though I was only able to block his attack due to getting the jump on him, but I had no answer for his power, so I'm going to have to lean heavily on Rengoku while I get some hits in. My objective is to keep Rengoku alive, and it should only be a few more minutes to sun up.

Rengoku seamlessly performed a fire breathing technique, aiming at the head of Akaza and yet he simply ducked down, I followed through with a water breathing technique, twisting my body to build up momentum and jumping in the air in order to cut his neck clean off but Akaza delivered a gut wrenching uppercut.

There would have been multiple broken bones if it connected, but Rengoku cut his hands off with a rotating flame wheel, similar to sun breathing, sun chariot. Akaza must have recognized my weakness compared to Rengoku and my interference in his battle must be a nuisance to his thirst for a powerful opponent.

So Akaza set his sights on me. "You are weak, and the weak shall perish before me." Akaza unleashes a flurry of punches. I was able to create a sun wall by swinging my sword up but his punches went through it. Rengoku tried to get close but Akaza was seriously trying to kill me now and when I first watched the Mugen Train movie back in my old life, Akaza spoke a lot to convince Rengoku to convert into a demon. But with my interference, it seems like I pissed him off.

Should I use Jack's Pistol in order to kill Akaza? But that would be a waste, this is not the time for it. I had to use my resource though, his punches were beginning to drain my hp each strike more powerful than the last. -345 HP -509 Hp -1023 HP

My shadows were no longer helping the citizens get to safety and so I called them to me. Just as Akaza was about to deliver a fatal blow through my chest, I used [Shadow Exchange] with {Trebol} who was making his way to the battle field. {Trebol} received the blow but he did not disintegrate as Akaza intended, instead, he reformed while consuming my mana.

Akaza was becoming more enraged by the minute, he unleashed a barrage of punches that drained through my mana reserve rapidly. It came to the point that I had to unsummon {Trebol} or else I would not have enough mana for anything.

"You have forgotten me, demon." Rengoku charged at Akaza, his blade engulfed in flames. He twisted and turned, his form never wavering. The flame breathing style was both beautiful and deadly at the same time. There was no time to linger though as I ran back through the train wreckage in order to rejoin Rengoku in the fight. My shadow warriors joined my sprint.

When he struck down, Akaza punched up. When Rengoku pushed forward, Akaza met him head on. Their strikes were similar to a haki battle, where they were barely grazing each other but you can feel the impact of each strike.

I once again passed through Tanjiro and Inosuke.

"Save him please!" Tanjiro called out after me. I merely gave him a thumbs up as I ran into the battle with my shadow warriors. They phased through the demon slayers, which caused them to shiver.

I brought my dark saber to my side with {Kalgara} jumping ahead and bringing down his executioner blade onto Akaza.

The upper demon created separation with Rengoku by slamming him with an open palm strike to the chest, and then delivered a deadly uppercut to {Kalgara} causing him to dissipate in an instant. {Moria} cut close enough to position his scissor blade, extase, right at the neck of Akaza although he simply ducked down and gave a liver blow. Then {Eneru} caught him in a storm of black lightning only for Akaza to rotate rapidly to deflect the incoming lightning storm. He then used his momentum to jump to where {Eneru} was floating and shoulder slammed him out of existence.

It was due to my lack of level, I could not even contend with some of the strongest of a different universe. This fueled me more than it put me down as I had more goals in my mind. {Ryuma} went ahead of me and used his new sword, the reverse blade, in order to catch Akaza's attention. He blocked the strike with his forearm, a millisecond of doubt. This was enough time for Rengoku to seize a finishing blow, his flames following closely behind him as he brought his sword to the neck of Akaza, finally connecting.

"No!" Akaza struggled to get out of the decapitation technique. Not only that, but the sun was beginning to rise and so our stalling and his lack of awareness was going to be his downfall.

But there was a certain look in his eyes, as if he was about to do something that was unexpected. It was then that Akaza allowed Rengoku to dig deeper through his neck, but he was going to deliver the deadly gut punch that punctured a hole through Rengoku. I couldn't allow that or I would fail.

And so I dash forward, tackling Rengoku to the ground. This surprised everyone confused as to why I would stop the execution of the demon.

Akaza began to feel some burning sensation, the sun was starting to rise higher. He grimaced, staring at me dead in the eye. He then tossed Rengoku's blade to the side and made a mad dash to the darkness.

I meant to give chase but Rengoku held me by my shoulder and delivered a punch to my face that knocked me into the ground.

"If I am to die, then I am to die. I would have taken the demon down with me." He proclaimed, his easy going nature was not replaced by anger.

"Yes, sure, but what of your brother?" I must have hit Rengoku right in the heart. For he contemplated my statement. His anger subsided and he extended a hand to me.

"I'm sorry, I lost sight of things." I took his hands and Rengoku helped me to my feet.

[Bonus for reaching +50 respect with Rengoku. Flame Hashira's Coat. 50% reduction damage to Fire if worn.]

Excellent respect reward. This would be something useful for the future, or maybe I'll wear it now. I equipped it and sure enough, it went right under my master chief chest plate, in the same slot for my top.

"Rengoku-san!" Tanjiro remained on his back, but had enough energy to yell. "I'm glad you are alive!" Inosuke stomps on the head of Tanjiro.

"Stop moving you idiot, you're going to injure yourself." Though Inosuke was the one further injuring the poor demon slayer.

"You are new to this world, I have never heard of someone like you and yet you wield a demon slaying blade." The sun was finally high in the sky, pursuit of upper moon three no longer an option.

"I am from a different world, one that is different from yours..." I was going to expand on my status but Rengoku was a lot more trusting than anticipated.

"Make sense. Well join the demon slaying corps, you will be a fine addition to our ranks."

"I can't, I have a world to return to." Rengoku nodded.

"Fine, fine. Well I am the Fire Pillar, Rengoku, what is your name then stranger?"

"Daeh." He then shook my hands.

"I look forward to meeting with you in the future Daeh." A portal then opened from behind me.

"Good meeting you Rengoku, take care of the future of the demon slayer corps." I looked at the trio of demon slayers who were watching us intently as we were two superheroes to them.

"I shall."

I then struck a post, bringing my dark saber up over my head to block a sword strike. The demon slayers looked at me in confusion but Rengoku still had that sharp smile over his face.

"I..." Though I was not given the time to explain my ridiculous post.

[End of Side Quest, returning to One Piece Universe...]

I struck a ridiculous post because I was forcefully brought to the Demon Slayer world without much of a choice. The experience was cool and I got to obtain two gold coins. I will open them later but for now, I had a pirate attack at hand.

I returned to my original position, the enemy pirate striking me down with his cutlass. I then used my other hand to punch the gut of the enemy ending him in an instance. The man was shirtless, a particular tattoo on his back indicated which pirate crew he came from.

"Doflamingo, you best show up now or else..." There were plenty of big fish in the New World, and Doflamingo was one of them, but this person was particularly strong for going after one of the powerhouses of the new world.

I looked around and sure enough, we were engulfed in a bay of a massive floating paradise. The ship had been overtaken, not a single member of the crew had the will to fight any longer.

"You're not Doflamingo." It was then that a massive man stood before me, he had a smirk over his face.

"Courtesy of Gild Tesoro." And the massive man threw a devastating punch at me only to be blocked by a familiar executioner blade. {Kalgara} had absorbed the strike while I looked at the man himself.

"You messed with the wrong ship, Gild."

"Is that so?" Then a massive wave of gold surrounded the ship that I was on. Dice, the massive man, jumped out of the ship and made his way to his boss. "Tell me when you're dead." Then the golden wave was going to crash onto me.

Being buried under a sea of gold? Not such a bad way to go.

"Courtesy of Gild Tesoro." And the massive man threw a devastating punch at me only to be blocked by a familiar executioner blade. {Kalgara} had absorbed the strike while I looked at the man himself.

"Is that so?" Then a massive wave of gold surrounded the ship that I was on. Dice, the massive man, jumped out of the ship and made his way to his boss. "Tell me when you're dead." Then the golden wave was going to crash onto me.

Being buried under a sea of gold? Not such a bad way to go.

"I don't appreciate your threat, Gild Tesoro." I know of this man from one of the Movies; Film Gold.

"So you've heard of me then!" The man wore a salmon suite, his entire body covered in gold. His green hair was lighter than Zoro's, and he looked like the type of person who was always in control.

The Gran Tesoro was a nice reward, but the item selector was something he can't decline. It would be beneficial in his current state to overtake the entire operation as Gild was loaded, he could outright go and kill them all.

Gild was getting annoyed, dismissing me completely and sending his lackeys after me. Not even the main players that I needed to defeat. Too bad for these hired thugs, they weren't going to last very long against me.

Gild had retired through his elaborate casino, leaving the unwelcome guest behind for his men to handle. He took a martini off a server and drank the whole thing in one gulp. He then found Tanaka surveying an active game for possible cheating. Dice, his head of security, was ready to pounce at any minute for any unruly guess.

Then there was Baccarat and Carina, who chatted amongst themselves while a crowd of eager men surrounded them, yearning for their attention.

This was life, owning 20% of the world's richest sure had its perks. Any woman he wanted, any time, any where. And so he approached a busty lady, grabbing her by the hand and inviting her to join him, she did not hesitate, knowing exactly who he was, just a taste of the high life was enough to coerce her to join him in his chambers.

BOOM

But that will have to wait, as the unwelcome guest who flew the flag of Doflamingo had entered his casino floor, causing a ruckus amongst the other guests. He released his hold on the woman, not realizing that his grip had tightened. She panicked at the sign of the intruder and ran away with the others.

This left the intruder by himself against his own army of guards, and his top commanders.

"You truly think that you will come out of here alive?!" Gild was getting annoyed now, his day ruined by Doflamingo's lackey.

"I bet on it." I responded, I didn't really account for colliding with the Gran Tesoro and meeting with the Gold user, but things happen, and I really want the item selector reward.

"Dice, take care of it." The massive man smiled at the orders from his boss, rushing at me with his brute power.

He was strong, but I was stronger. In order to assert my dominance, I took on Dice head on, capturing his fist with the palm of my hand. The surprise from Gild's group was satisfying, and even Dice realized the predicament that he was in. With a smirk, I tossed Dice over head and tossed him on the ground, with an emphatic echo throughout the empty casino, Dice had been defeated.

Tanaka did not take kindly on his friend getting beaten, phasing into the walls and charging at me. I knew all of their abilities and so I was not really worried. Maybe Baccarat was going to be a problem, but the others were pretty simple to defeat.

Tanaka launched himself from the ground, accelerating his punch from being ejected from the solid matter. His fist connected with my face but it hardly did anything. Once again, dread filled Tesoro's group, Tanaka trembled at my joy, realizing that he was severely outmatched. I proceeded to cave his giant skull and launch him with a soccer ball kick straight through several buildings from the main floor.

Regretfully, I was vulnerable for a moment as Baccarat managed to touch me. She had a smirk over her face, thinking that she was going to mess with my luck. Too bad my LUK 1013 and it will take some time before she can siphon all of it.

Baccarat became wideyed, losing her only advantage in the fight. She slowly backed away but not before bumping into the shadow figure of my newest soldier. {Trebol} used his sticky abilities, to pin Baccarat against the wall in a shameless manner, to further embarrass her for her mistake.

That left Carina and Gild, to which Gild thought that it would be a smart idea to use his remaining ally as leverage.

"Listen here, I'll kill her if you don't let me go." Somehow, someway, Gild thought that it would be a bright idea to kidnap Carina. He rushed behind her and placed several golden spears around her. Any sudden movements will mean her death. Carina looked at Gild with disgust in her eyes, although she hesitantly accepted her faith.

"Fine, kill me then, after that this guy will kill you!" She screamed, angry at the way the gold user was acting. This stranger truly showed his dominance with Dice plastered on the ground, Tanaka sent somewhere around the island, and Baccarat glued to the wall with unknown substance.

Although she accepted her faith, I had a different idea. So while they were arguing amongst themselves, I attached {Eneru} in Carina's shadow, and then used [Shadow Exchange] to switch Carina and {Eneru}. Carina fell into his arms, a bit disproportionate to the shadow exchange, but nevertheless, grateful at the rescue.

Out of shock, Gild unleashed the golden spike, only to pierce through my shadow soldier. Nothing happened to the shadow soldier, only taking up a bit of my mana to regenerate. {Tank} was summoned to charge at Gild only to be swallowed up by a golden egg. {Gedatsu} tried to overwhelm Gild only to be slapped onto the ground by a golden platform. He wasn't someone to be underestimated as I paired some golden spikes aimed for myself and Carina.

"You think of me as a weakling?!" Gild proclaimed separating himself from {Eneru} and {Moria}

Even the shadow user wasn't enough to subdue the golden man.

But curiously enough, the combined effort of {Ryuma} and {Kalgara} was enough to catch Gild off guard, and then {Enel} finished the job.

"Shouldn't have messed with my ship." I said, Carina on one hand, while {Eneru} fried Gild until his insides melted. Carina watched as the entire event transpired, the phantom thief did not look away as her former employer suffered until his very last moment. My shadows returned to my own, disappearing from the world once more.

And with that, I had obtained a copy of the Gran Tesoro, along with an item selector. I released my embrace of Carina, seemingly disappointing her. I now stood in this empty casino, my next course of action still needing to be Alabasta.

But a tasty black flame emerged from the corpse of one, Gild Tesoro, and I could not pass up on the chance.

[Arise]

I commanded, and even with my luck partially drained by Baccarat, I managed to summon a new soldier in my shadow army. The former Gild Tesoro arose from his death, now covered in purple and black flame. {Gild} A has joined me in my journey.

Meanwhile, Carina just looked at me in disbelief, as the entire time she just stood over on the side. Even Baccarat was perplexed at what was happening before her eyes.

I then proceeded to approach a poker table, on one of the fruit trays that one of the guests must've ordered, a devil fruit took the place of the original. It was there that I picked it up, and proceeded to walk back towards Carina. At this point, {Trebol} had released his grips at Baccarat, letting her back on the floor. Dice came to it and got up slowly, while Tanaka came back, walking slowly to where I launched him from.

I stopped in front of Carina presenting the devil fruit to her. "I want you to take this, and shape the Gran Tesoro into something better than what it is."

"Is this..." Carina looked at the devil fruit in my hand, contemplating what my game was.

"It is the Goru Goru no Mi. I want you to have it." Although Carina was perplexed, putting her hands on her hips and looking at me like I was insane.

"Um, why?"

"The Gran Tesoro is a mainstay in the new world, holding 20% of the world's finances through the gambling and its dealings. Therefore if I pluck it out of rotation as black hole will try to fill it. So my only solution is to entrust it to someone." That should do the trick.

Carina +10 Respect

"Oh well when you put it that way." Carina proceeded to take the devil fruit from my hand. "I'm still skeptical." She looked at the devil fruit for some time, weighing her options. "What if I refuse to play your game?"

"Doesn't matter to me, I'll find someone else. The Gran Tesoro can't disappear, that's all there is to it." She then shrugged her shoulders and consumed the tasteless, disgusting devil fruit.

"What about us?" Baccarat asked the important question, her clothes remained soaked from {Trebol}'s devil fruit. Dice and Tanaka looked at me worryingly, thinking their days were numbered similar to Gild. But I wasn't about to make them pay for the fault of their former boss.

"Up to you, it's a free world." I shrugged. "Anyway, do you think you can take me to Alabasta, I happen to lose my ship and my entire crew." This would be the perfect cover to getting into Alabasta, with the people mesmerized by the giant casino rather than worrying about little old me sneaking through the place and killing off Crocodile.

"Well I suppose, so what now?" Carina asked to which I shrugged.

"Your call."

Turns out, Carina was the perfect choice for the job as she had worked with Gild for some time. The new user of the gold fruit had implemented changes to make the casino more desirable. She wasn't obsessed with control and gave Dice and Tanaka a much more prominent job than security and enforcer. Baccarat became the right hand woman as they worked together to tackle the day to day operations.

I leisurely spent my time taking in the resort's finest delicacies, including women of course. At first I didn't think much of it, but eventually, I started to notice the stripping stares, and hungry aura around Carina, turns out, she became an admirer.

I quietly sat by the massive pool along the main body of the ship, where hundreds of guests were enjoying their time. I had been contemplating where to use my item selector. I was deep in thought when suddenly, a server approached me with a room key. It must have been a day since Carina took over the operations, and the Gran Tesoro was arriving at Alabasta soon.

I dried myself and made my way to my own room to freshen up, taking a shower to wash away the day.

After getting dressed, I made my way to the nearest exit of the ship, hiding my armor in my inventory. I was going to arrive in Alabasta soon, nothing better than going in with a bang.
