Author's Note: Did I just wake up one day and thought that adding a cat to every scene was a good idea? Yes. Yes I did. But look at how funny it is! I promise there will only be one more left for ep1, but then Mobie the Cat (?) will continue her adventures with Loki in ep2! Yay!

Interrogate A Cat
Loki lounged as comfortably as he could in the hard metal chair he was directed to sit at with Mobie laying on his lap. She purred loudly with an occasional chirp when he scratched behind her ear. Loki carefully watched the man who stepped in during his trial, calculating, analyzing, looking for an opening to exploit and abuse. This man wanted him for a reason, but he wasn't going to play so easily.
"So…" Mobius said, elongating the 'o' as he leaned back in his chair, meeting Loki's gaze. "What's with the cat?"
"I like pets," Loki replied. "Felines are quite a fascinating species and are far more receptive to affection than people."
He watched as Mobius casually made notes on the clipboard. "I see. It says here she is your emotional support animal. How's that working out?"
Loki tilted his head ever so slightly. The nonchalant attitude this agent gave off was mildly off-putting, almost too casual, but it was laced with intent to connect with him. He should have detected this with the very first question that came out of his mouth, but just like that, the man already wormed his way in. This Mobius was quite good.
"As if you are interested in my well-being," Loki said, gently stroking fingers over Mobie's head and ears.
"Perhaps not," Mobius stated, dropping the pen on the papers in front of him. "Though, I must admit, you staring me down while casually petting a cat really gives off that cliché villainous vibe. So kudos if that is the angle you wanted."
The agent started fiddling with the box-thing on the table. "Why don't we just get right into it, then?"
Loki quietly tapped his fingers on the flat surface to prompt Mobie to sit up and investigate. Catching interest in whatever the agent was doing, she hopped up on the table, letting out a curious purr in the process as she moved toward Mobius. Loki watched, amused, as she soft-paw batted at the dials while flicking her tail over the papers she comfortably now sat on top of.
Mobius pulled his hand away, attempting to nudge the cat off. "Would you mind containing this thing?"
"Mobie," Loki supplied, smiling innocently when Mobius gave him a strange look. "Her name is Mobie."
"Hilarious. Get her off."
The beverage Mobius had left open was now being investigated by the curious feline. She rubbed a cheek hard against its top because the panel-like device didn't have any pointed edges to scratch against, and promptly pushed a little too much into it that the can tipped right over, gushing its contents all over the files right in front of it.
"Dammit!" Mobius swore, lunging for the can and pulling the files out of harm's way in one motion.
Mobie gracefully evacuated the table top, finding herself under Loki's chair brushing her side against his leg. Loki snickered at the chain of events, dropping a hand beside him to give Mobie's chin a good scratch.
