Author's Note: In this piece, I have Blaise, Luna, and Harry in a QPR relationship, and represented with pansexual colors. Luna is blind, has Synesthesia, and uses the fae/faer pronoun set.

The Fairy That Fae Is

The trip across the pond had finally been able to be planned and executed just in time for the big event. Even with the pandemic protocols were still heavily enforced, it was a miracle the group of five was able to manage to get the portkeys needed to travel to California in time. It certainly had Andromeda wish she took up Tony's offer to fly by plane after going through the intense security measures in New York City before getting their second portkey to the West Coast.

But all of that was behind them now and soon Andromeda, Claudia, Xenophilius, Luna, and Blaise were all on the streets of Los Angeles searching for the large marble fountain where the rest of their group were waiting.

"This place is huge," Claudia said, looking all around her. "It will be a miracle to actually find them at this rate."

As if fate wanted to laugh at her statement, Blaise quickly pointed at a large structure that stood on the opposite side of the park from where they were. "I believe that is the place, Mother."

"Ah. Good eye, my dear," Claudia said, patting his shoulder.

"Will you kids be alright going on ahead? We will be right behind," Andromeda asked.

Luna, who had been focused on taking in the atmosphere with the sounds of people and the smells of food, instinctively grasped Blaise's hand. He was already scoping out the best path to the fountain for them to navigate though.

"We will be just fine, right Blaise?" Luna tilted fear head slightly at the sound of music from a nearby street musician that just started. "This place is spectacular."

Blaise's violet eyes looked to his mother and nodded in confidence to Andromeda's offer. They both were eager to see their Harry. It had been so long since they had seen him last, after all.

Luna extended faer collapsible guide stick and Blaise gripped faer hand. The two teenagers melded into the crowd toward the fountain. People were actually quite respectful, moving out of Luna's way so fae wouldn't bump into them.

"This place is beautiful," Blaise said, glancing around at everything while passing by.

"The food alone smells divine as well. So many different choices to decide," Luna said, moving fae head upward to take in the air to keep taking in the many scents.

As they worked through the booths, Blaise would use certain words from time to time that didn't quite make sense in a sentence, but for Luna, despite being blind since faer was seven years old, was able to see the bursts of color that appeared from the words. Blaise liked to help paint faer world using fae synesthesia and it was wonderful to be able to see the array of pride colors fluttering around.

"There is a lovely beach ball in flamingo, ducklings, and blueberries. It goes well with the sundress and flower crown you're wearing," Blaise said, turning to take in the billowy dress Luna wore that had a perfect, even blend of blue, yellow, and pink colors on it. The crown had a mix of synthetic silk flowers of pinks, blues, and yellows among the leaves and vines weaved in together with the ribbon.

"Oh, good idea. For our beach trip next month," fae said, smiling. "But first, let's find Harry. I miss him terribly and am very overdue for a warm hug from him."

"Agreed."

The mix of color Luna saw soon faded back to a muddy brown the world defaulted to when fae heard the buzz of ambient sound. That is, until Blaise announced they had found Harry, Tony, Loki, and James. The burst of gold, emerald, silver, and red that radiated from each of their names as Blaise said them had Luna smile broadly. Fae didn't need any help to locate Harry, following his voice to embrace him in a warm, well-needed hug. Blaise joined in, almost causing the tears that pricked Luna's eyes to fall.

Fae was so happy to be with faer soulmates.
