"Lena are you here?" Alex asked as she used her key to enter her sister's apartment.
"In the bedroom!" she heard as she entered to find Lena sitting on the bed working on her computer.
"Kara has to work late again," Alex mumbles as she flings herself onto the bed.
"Rough day?" the CEO smirks as she closes her laptop.
"It was supposed to be girl's night, she wanted to surprise you," she trails off as she sits up.
Lena can't help but smile.
"Clark was wrong you know," the older Danvers sister says.
"Thank you I appreciate that."
"Kara is smarter than she looks, she will see through the bull shit," Alex smirks causing Lena to roll her eyes.
"She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can't lose her."
"What makes you think you will?"
"I know how much he means to her as well, he's all she has left of home," Lena trails off as she closes her laptop.
"He will come around I'm sure," Alex tells her as they both jump when they hear a thud.
"KARA?! Alex calls as her and Lena open the door; Alex is surprised to see Clark.
"Alex,' he greets her as he nods in her direction his eyes never leaving Lena's.
"Uhh what are you doing here?" she asks as she steps in front of the Luthor as she presses the button on her watch alerting Kara.
"Can you give us a minute?" he asks the eldest Danvers as he goes to sit on the couch.
"I'm not going anywhere."
"It's okay," Lena assures her as she places her hand on her shoulder.
"I'll be right outside," she warns the man as she opens the door and steps out.
Lena smiles at her as she turns to face her lover's angry cousin, "okay what do you want?"
"I'm offering you a chance to leave."
"Excuse me?" Lena snaps as she crosses her arms.
"Leave National City and my cousin and no harm will come to you."
"Are you threatening me?" Lena asks her voice shaking.
"Kara is clearly confused, and its best you go, so she can be clear headed."
"You know nothing about her."
"You have a week to decide, she belongs with Lucy," he tells her before flying away leaving her alone with his words.
"Lena?!" Kara calls out as she lands with a thud into the apartment.
"Kara?!" Alex asks as she reenters.
"What happened? Where's Lena?"
"Clark showed," Alex tells her as she trails off.
"Oh my God. Lena!? Kara screams as she runs into her room, to see the woman in the fetal position on the floor.
"Is she hurt?" Alex asks as she leans down.
"Baby?" Kara aasks gently as she picks her up and sets her on the bed.
"I'll give you two some space," Alex says as she slowly backs out of the room.
"Thank you, I'll call you tomorrow."
She nods as she shuts the door.
"Lena baby are you alright?" Kara asks gently as she lies beside her.
"He didn't hurt me," she finally mumbles as she turns towards her girlfriend.
"What happened?"
Lena tries not to cry as she sits up and leans against the pillows as she told about his threat and how she belongs with Lucy.
Kara tried to remain calm as she listened, but her heat vison threatened to spill out as she gets up and takes a few breaths.
"I will leave first thing tomorrow morning," Lena finishes as she wipes her eyes before standing up.
What?" Kara asks as she slowly turns around.
"I don't want you losing your last relative from Krypton, I couldn't live with myself."
"Lena stop, you're my family to and it would kill me to lose you."
"It would?" she asks timidly as her green eyes fill with tears.
"Of course it would. I love you."
"Oh God Kara I love you too," she finally cries as she accepts the warm embrace from the hero of her heart.
"It will all be okay," she promises as she leads her back to the bed, she slowly undresses her as she does the same before crawling in next to her. She pulls her close as she holds her tight, she knew deep down things would only get worse, but right now she just didn't care.
