Bio:

Hello! My name is Fae Ryu (formerly Tenryu no hoko), "Ryu" for short.

I love anime, cartoons, Roosterteeth productions, Nintendo games, indie games, and fantasy-based literature, so it should come as no surprise that that's what a lot of my stories are based on. I'll admit that I am relatively easy to please when it comes to the content I consume. But the content that really gets my author brain-wheels turning, and the content that I generally make fanfiction of if not use as a jumping-off point for an original story, is the kind that either leaves a deeply profound impact on me, leaves so many unanswered questizons that exploring them is basically a must, or both.

Admittedly, not all of my ideas see completion. I tend to stop writing fics when I either lose passion for them or feel they no longer reflect who I am as a writer and a person. But that doesn't mean I don't recycle the old ideas into my new stories; sometimes, if the fic is good enough and just needs some major polishing, I may just fully rewrite the fic while discontinuing the original version. Rewriting is generally a go-to of mine, which, while it may annoy some readers and I apologize for that, is sometimes necessary for me to tell the story I wish to tell.

I am also a huge plotter. If I'm not actively writing a new chapter for a story, it's because I'm planning ahead in it or other stories. I also tend to focus primarily on one story at a time, so when I do update, I'll likely do multiple updates for the same story in relatively quick succession of one another, then vanish again to work on/plan a different story.
