The Capital currently wasn't a very pleasant sight to see. It was practically a battlefield, a sight filled with nothing but death and destruction. It was a site of pure chaos and carnage, as the Hazard Smash and Guardians practically ravaged the entire place to the ground. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, the Revolution Army kept on pressing against the combined assault from Touto, Seito and Hokuto. Even though these enemies were all new, and powerful monsters with deadly abilities, they kept on fighting nonetheless. They had already saved the Capital from the tyrannical clutches of the Empire, and they wouldn't give up this new peace without a fight.
Yet they were still pushed back regardless, as these new enemies proved to be a problem. While they managed to hold them off for a while, the Hazard Smash and Guardians were nothing like the old enemies they had faced, which were nothing more than simple soldiers. It was like fighting an army of Teigu users, and the reality of their situation caught up to them as they were slowly, but surely being pushed back.
Sento Katsuragi was still observing the situation, seeing just how much it was escalating. Seeing all the senseless death and destruction, he decided that enough was enough, and it was time for him to step up. No longer would he just stand on the sidelines, doing nothing.
This wasn't the path to love and peace. He'd have to stray from the initial blueprint.
From the labs, he stole a prototype variant of the Build Driver, before also grabbing the Hazard Trigger and a few Fullbottles, which were prototypes of the FullFull Bottles. He grimaced a bit, because he knew they were weaker, but he pushed through. Slipping out of the country in silence and unknown, he knew who to talk to.
He had read up on their exploits in the past, and how they had liberated the Empire from the Capital in the first place. They were exactly the people he could call on, even if most of them were assassins.
Najenda received a note from an odd masked man, who had surprised her because he looked just like Kamen Rider Build, except with mismatched sides of red and blue. She read the message, how he had wanted to end the war as well, and he had an idea of how to do it. He just needed her help, via a Trojan prisoner tactic. With all logic, she should have probably ignored it, since it just screamed obvious trap, but her gut feeling told her to go along with it. It came with her level of experience.
Agreeing, Najenda read further into the message, which also put down a meeting place. She sent Tatsumi ahead of time to the meeting place, while she discussed with the others who to send.
Akame ended up volunteering herself for the mission. Of all the others, she had the most experience with this sort of situation. None of them argued with her, as they knew Akame.
She went to the meeting place, which was just outside the Capital, in a small forest clearing. But what she didn't expect to see was that Tatsumi was knocked out, as the mismatched Kamen Rider Build held up a bottle and was extracting… some kind of energy from Tatsumi into a white bottle. After it stopped, it turned into a dark blue bottle, with an odd dragon shaped carving on the side.
"Yes, it worked! Am I not great? Am I not terrific? Am I not... a genius?" He said, before he saw Akame standing there. "...Oh, hello."
"What did you do to Tatsumi?" She asked him, a hand slowly going to her sword.
"Ah, I know this looks bad, but he's fine!" The mismatched Build said, holding up his hands. "Are you the one the Revolutionary Army sent?"
"Yes, now tell me what-"
"Sorry about this."
She was cut off as Build delivered a quick strike to the back of her neck. While normally this wouldn't have worked, Build's insane speed and power managed to knock Akame out like a light.
"Hopefully she and the others won't hate me after this…" Build muttered, as he walked off, carrying her on his shoulder.
She didn't know how much time had passed, but Akame awoke to see that she was in a prison cell. Her weapon was gone, and she was behind bars. A prison within Touto, she assumed. Not a good situation.
"Oh, you're awake now."
Akame looked up to see the copycat Build staring at her from between the bars.
"Listen, I need you to-"
"No, let me ask the questions." Akame said. "What exactly is your game here?"
"It's not a game." Build said. "I promise that I'm on your side."
"I have a hard time believing that." Akame said. "Just because the Commander believed you, doesn't mean that I do as well-"
Build held up a hand, before pulling out the bottles in his belt. Akame widened her eyes, seeing the armor disperse to reveal Sento Katsuragi.
"My name is Sento Katsuragi. Do you believe me now?" He asked her. "I wouldn't just show you my face and tell you my name if it was a trick. And besides, you're going to want this."
He passed a familiar katana between the bars, and Akame widened her eyes as she took it into her hands.
"Murasame?" She said. "How? It was destroyed in my-"
"-your final fight with Esdeath, right?" Sento finished. He tapped his forehead. "Don't underestimate my genius. Now…"
He unlocked Akame's door, letting it swing open.
"Seek out a prisoner named Ryuga." He told her. "There's something I need to do myself."
With that, he left the prison and disappeared. Akame waited for a few moments, but nothing happened. Seeing no other option, she left her cell and started to explore the prison. It was in surprisingly good shape for a place meant to lock up criminals or prisoners of war.
"A man named Ryuga…" She muttered. "But how am I supposed to find him-?"
A loud scream rang throughout the halls, and Akame went on her guard. She followed the sound until she reached a smaller room at the end of the hall. There, she saw a man with light brown hair getting electrocuted by his captors.
"Tell us already." One of them said.
"I keep telling you I don't know!" The man yelled, before they turned up the electricity and the power went up even higher.
"Stop lying to us, Ryuga." The other captor said. "We know that you're the only person to touch Pandora's Box to gain an absurdly high Hazard Level without dying. Tell us your secret."
"I don't… know…" He breathed out, starting to pass out from the electricity.
Akame watched as they turned the knob on higher, deciding to step in this time. She had found who Sento had told her to look for, after all. Rushing forward, she slashed out with her blade, and in a single cut, she bisected both of the captors, before kicking the controls and shutting off the electricity. She ran over and caught the man from falling over.
"H-Huh? Who are you…?" Ryuga hazily asked.
"Someone sent me to save you." Akame said. "Now let's get out before the-"
An alarm blared throughout the prison, as everything started flashing red. Grimacing, Akame put the man's arm over her shoulder and walked out of the room with him. As she expected, she ran into opposition in the hall.
Hazard On! Tank! Tank!
"Intruders." Kei Uraga said, as he turned the crank. "Henshin."
Uncontrol switch! Black Hazard! Yabei!
Akame tried to draw her sword, but the dark masked hero ran forward and slugged her in the face before she could draw. He started smashing his fists into her stomach, blow after blow. Akame winced, and could feel herself starting to black out.
Kurenai no speedy jumper! RabbitRabbit! Yabei! Haei!
A red foot crashed through the wall, kicking Metal Build in the face. Sento as Build, now in a fully red suit landed, holding up his fist.
"How…?" She asked.
"Run!" Sento said. "I'll hold him off!"
Akame quickly grabbed Ryuga and carried him out of the room, looking back to see Sento clash with Uraga. While Uraga's power was incredible, Sento's blinding speed let him match the dark Rider, giving Akame ample time to escape with Ryuga.
Perhaps I should trust him after all. Akame said, hearing the sounds of battle fade as she walked away with Ryuga in tow.
