Izuku's quirk allows him to give bring to life art on his body, but due to Japan's strict tattoo laws and his own mother's strictness he's unable to get one that would actually be useful, after failing the U.A. entrance exams, Izuku's desperate quest for a tattoo leads him down a very strange path.

Sometimes, small things can have unforeseen consequences. Like the butterfly causing an hurricane. Or the nail costing a war. Or the snotling messing around where he shouldn't causing the rise of a different kind of hero... "Awigt den, come have a go, ya gits! Waaaaagggghh!"

It didn't start when All Might told Izuku Midoriya that he couldn't be a hero. It started much earlier than that, when Hisashi Midoriya walked out on Inko, taking with him their four and a half year old son. All For One will devote a lot of time to investments he considers worthwhile. His son is one such investment. A Hisashi/All For One raises Izuku fic. Izuku is nine years old.

It is a commonly known fact that those who suffer abuse often become those who abuse. Abused children become child abusers, and the bullied become bullies. It takes a special kind of hero to lift people out of that cycle, and Izuku was, uplifted by All Might. But what if he hadn't been? Abandoned by all but one, Izuku saved himself, but at the bloody cost of maintaining the cycle.
