Jack and the Honorable Hunters!
In the shape-shifting Master of Darkness' lair, the evil Aku was silently fuming with anger. Ever since the past version of himself had casted his arch nemesis, the warrior and samurai called Jack into the future, the future version of the Shogun of the Sorrow has done nothing but send as many adversaries at Jack as possible, be it a newly constructed robot, a bounty hunter, or something else entirely and the end result was that whoever Jack faced was either turned into a pile of scrap or befriended by the well trained warrior. The former made him seethe with rage and the latter made him sick to his stomach. And if he was being honest, he'd rather seethe with rage than be sick to his stomach any day.
If things continued like this, he was eventually going to have face Jack himself again once more, and that was a death sentence because of that God made katana that he had with him. A weapon that was forged by three Gods in order to destroy him.
Just then, a light bulb appeared above his head as he got an idea.
"Hmm, well if I can't find something that can destroy the Samurai in this timeline, then perhaps it's time to change up the game a little." The Master of Masters thought to himself before he then opened his mouth as he spat out 6 white rings as they then floated in front of him before displaying various different points in history as featured from either his own timeline and even various other timelines that he has never heard of before.
After a few minutes of watching his own timeline, he grew irritated as he then switched to one of the unknown ones. He then switched to next after having seen enough of that one.
He then repeated this process before his eyes widened at one particular creature in one particular timeline.
"Good, this group might prove themselves worthy to take down the Samurai once and for all."
With his warriors selected, the Deliver of Darkness then began to laugh manically as he then said smugly. "Bye bye, Samurai." before laughing manically once more.
In one of the dystopian cities run by the personified evil, Jack was wearing a basket hat as he walked through a marketplace in search of a meal while trying to figure out what to do next. Since Aku seemingly had eyes everywhere, trying to find a way back to the past was rather difficult whether it was by Jack's refusal to leave the needs of the many behind to Aku's tyranny or because of the wiliness of the genocidal goo monster. Regardless, he needed to get back to the past and finish off Aku before things get worse for him.
As he was thinking, then he heard a voice cry out "Stop, please!"
Hearing the voice, he ran into a nearby alleyway as he saw a group of four big, burly, alien men surrounding a woman with a briefcase beside her as one of them held her down as another one was seconds away from unzipping his jeans.
"Shut up, you stupid bitch!" A green alien with shades said as he was about to unzip the struggling woman's jeans said as he punched her in the stomach. "You shouldn't have stolen from us, you wench. But instead, we're gonna DO you!"
"Yeah, whether you want to or not?" A red alien with a cybernetic arm as he pointed a laser pistol at the woman, who was shedding tears. "Dead or Alive."
But just before the four rapists could achieve that goal, they heard a voice behind them. "Excuse me, gentleman."
Looking behind them, they instantly began to be filled with dread as they saw the famous "Samurai Jack" standing there with the basket hat covering his face.
Now having gained their attention, he spoke again. "I believe the lady has said that she did not want to pay you. Now I suggest you let her go and walk away."
Taking a deep breath, a blue alien with a long nose (that was also a drill) laughed as he stomped up to the Samurai. "And what are you going to do if we do feel like it?"
"Then you have chosen to face the consequences." Jack said, putting a hand on the handle of his sword as if he wanted to pull it out but decided to handle this with his other skills.
The blue alien just laughed in his face as then said. "Well, you're a brave one. I'm surprised that you're not shitting yourself. Do you even know who we are?""I fear no man." was the Samurai's only response.
"Well, I'll teach it to you." said a purple alien who had a half armored face and a laser cannon as he fired it at the human.
Instead of running, the Samurai simply jumped up into the air so high it was almost like he was a frog. After a few seconds, Jack landed in between the woman and the would be sexual assaulters.
"Hmm, you jump good." the red alien said before attacking with his cybernetic arm.
Jack simply caught the fist as he saw it coming a mile away before replying. "Jump really good."
He sent slammed a palm into the alien's stomach causing him to cough up spit before falling to the ground face first, much to the shock of his associates.
"Your friend is only unconscious, he will be fine." Jack informed them. "One chance, take your friend and leave this lady alone or the rest of you will suffer a similar occurrence."
"You bastard!" shouted the blue alien as charged forward in a blind rage as he attempted to use his drill nose to kill the Samurai.
'SHING!'
However, in a flash, Jack slashed the air pulling out his katana for a spilt second...As a second passed, the the nose fell onto ground.
Immediately after that, Jack smashed two of the knuckles on his right hand in the side of his opponent's head, watching as his eyes went blank before falling to the ground, now unconscious as well.
As the two remaining aliens looked on in disbelief at what was happening, the purple alien shook it off as he fired a blast once more. This time, Jack blocked the blast with his blade while also absorbing it. In utter shock, the alien dropped his weapon in fear.
"Please forgive me Samurai!" he begged as he got on his hands and knees and bowed.
"Coward." said the green alien he charged at Jack with impressive speed.
Before he could attack, Jack simply slashed the air, redirecting the energy back at the alien at point blank range, not killing him but knocks him out instead.
With all three of the four opponents down for the count and the cowardly one struggling to lift up one of his comrades, Jack turned to the lady. "Are you alright?"
"Y-Yeah. I'm fine." said the lady. "Thank you, Samurai."
"No need to thank me." I'm just glad that you are alright." Jack said being modest. "I apologize if this is too soon but, why were these vile aliens trying to..." He couldn't finish that question as the lady knew what he was going to ask.
"Well, I was at this club when it was attacked by them, I managed to steal the money they wanted and they chased me into this alleyway." The woman explained. "And you clearly saw what was about to happen. So thanks for saving me." She said as she planted a kiss on the Samurai's cheek, making him blush a bit."Oh, um, you're welcome." said Jack, flustered before clearing his throat. "Would you like me to escort you to your home? Just in case anyone tries to assault you again?"
"Sure thing." said the lady as she took Jack's hand into hers.
As the two left the alleyway, what they didn't know was that on top one of the buildings, four mysterious individuals wearing some unusual metallic armor had seen the battle and were now scouting him using thermal vision accessible through their helmets.
"Wiojj dsk anvniw kldf iwwapsddksc fjkll?" one of the individuals said in some sort of strange language. "Koapdj dsk lnprska nfso paqne lspqwe."
TRANSLATION: "Shall we kill now? He's proven himself to be quite skilled."
"Qjg myh." Another one of them said in the same sort of language. "Rpo alsj riguh alqut lpwodh?"
TRANSLATION: "Not yet. Let's wait until he's alone."
The first one simply growled a bit in annoyance but didn't say anything else.
"Ldjrl alqo." The third one said in the same language as the other two.
TRANSLATION: "Let's move."
Using the gauntlets on their wrists, they turned invisible as they began to follow their target from a distance.
After escorting the lady home, (thankfully with no one attacking the two). Jack was now in a part a jungle during a sunset, setting up some firewood as he began to think to himself.
"Okay, I will camp out here for the night and-"
Before he could finish that thought his ears picked up on a really faint sound, causing him to quickly get up... before picking up the sound of something being fired off from behind him. Having no time to turn around, Jack quickly ducked as a blue colored laser blast went over his head and ended up hitting a tree, blowing a hole in it.
Standing back up, Jack quickly began to run through the forest as multiple laser blasts began to rain down upon him through the tree lines from not just behind but from multiple directions, giving him no room to pull out his sword and deflect them as he quickly had to dodge them while also rolling on the ground and jumping from one tree to the next to avoid getting holes blown into him, and while he was hit with some blasts, they only grazed and cut his skin which bled considering how deep the cuts were.
"Whatever this creature is, it clearly wants to kill me from afar." The Samurai thought to himself as he wiped the blood from his left cheek. "I must change tactics and fast."
Noticing a deep looking pond, Jack didn't waste any time to dive into it as he then closed his eyes and held his breath as he pretended to play dead as the blood from the cuts began to change the color of the water a bit.
Stopping their lasers, Jack heard the distant sound of crunching footprints approach the pond before they stopped as he then heard the assailants talking in some strange language.
"Saef lrit ae kqpc?" He heard one of them say.
TRANSLATION : "You think he's dead?"
"Uoqrm? Aqie lwod, jvj lapqw iej?" He heard another say
TRANSLATION: "Dying that early, I doubt it?"
"Kqort skmn toaqejt." He heard a third one say.
TRANSLATION: "That would be such wasted potential."
"Wlqa tigh lmg hwsoa fwpw dklskdsdlv ojwe skqa." He heard a fourth one say. "Lq wir soe, kqpw gla eotr!"
TRANSLATION: "Let's camp out here for the night and see if he resurfaces. If he does, we've got him."
As Jack began to hear the sound of retreating footsteps, Jack quickly dove out of the water with a yell, which gained the attention of the one of the creatures hunting him so he decided to go back and check out the situation.
Now that he was out of the water, he took a breath to refill his lungs as he saw an armored alien with a big faceless mask that covered his face, a pair of wrist gauntlets and what appeared to be dreadlocks underneath his mask running up to him as he then spoke. "So you must have been the one that me earlier, now I suggest that you leave me be or I will have no choice but to end your life."
The creature just roared at him before charging at the Samurai with a mighty punch, only for Jack to block it with his forearm and despite tumbling a bit he managed to lean back to avoid another punch before the warrior grabbed the attacking arm and flipping the creature over his shoulder and into the pond behind him with a mighty splash.
As Jack began to walk away, he heard the enraged creature let out a ferocious roar as it jumped out of the water as forced wrist blades out of it's gauntlets as he landed back on the ground.
"Lbqi lf!" demanded the creature. "Oaqk obg wqgp lkj!"
TRANSLATION: "Fight me! We're not done yet!"
"Can you at least talk to me in my language using that technology you're using, if you?" The Samurai asked, unable to understand one this creature was saying.
Tapping the side of it's helmet, the creature then spoke in English. "Is this better?"
"Yes." The Samurai said with a smile. "What sort of creature are you and why did you and your friends attack me?"
"I am a Yautaja or you can just call me "The Predator". We are a race of honorable hunters." The creature said. "As for why we attacked you, it was nothing personal as we come from another timeline when this tall, black creature rip our ship from our timeline into this one."
"Aku!" Jack said in surprise. "I should have known."
"So that's the creature's name, well yes he did this." The Predator said as he readied a stance. "When we got out of ship, we opened fire on him but weapons didn't hurt him. He said that if we want to return to our timeline, we must bring your body to him. Sorry forgive me for this and please make my death a quick one, Samurai."
Jack only look at him with a solemn yet regretful look on his face for what he was about to do as he slowly began to unsheathe his katana and as he charged towards the Predator, who charged as well with a similar look behind his mask...
At night, the remaining three Yautaja were out looking for their missing comrade. After a few minutes of searching the darken jungle, they finally managed to find him.
What they found was a beaten and battered Predator as a heap on the ground. The wrist gauntlets were in pieces as his many weapons were gone, apparently taken by their worthy prey and multiple cuts on the breastplate as green blood oozed from the cuts and even the mask was broken in a multitude of places. His arms and one of his legs felt limp too.
He was still breathing?
Placing a hand on the defeated Yautaja's chest, the leader heard a faint heartbeat.
"Bgqlj?" the leader thought to himself.
TRANSLATION: "Alive?"
"He is alive." came a voice from seemingly out of nowhere making the Predators try to use their thermal vision to try and locate the one speaking. "Take him and leave or stay and end up in an even worse state than he is."
All three Predators quickly had their backs to each other in order to defend themselves and each other in some sort of triangular formation. One of the Predators just roared as it fired a stream of lasers out into the jungle, cutting through various trees and rocks as it hoped that their target was still there.
"Very well. You have chosen your path. Prepare yourselves." said the voice again.
Suddenly something shot out from the darkness and onto the ground with such speed that one of the Predators barely had time to react before its legs were tied together in some of weird cuffs made of red energy as the creature was then forced upside down being lifted into the air by its legs as it let out a roar before the sound of what appeared to be a barber's razor and some lasers filled the air for a few seconds before the device exploded and the the results of what just happened fell in front of its two comrades.
It was a fully skinned Predator, who was twitching a little before stopping.
Just then, a sound of something getting chopped before the next Predator was bombarded with rocks and sharp to the teeth pieces of wood and even some laser blasts that were launched and shot at such speed that not even the tough armor of the extra-terrestrial was a match for the assaulting bombardment, especially the lasers.
Once it was over, the shot up body of the alien hunter fell on its back, now dead.
Furious, the final Predator let out a roar as he looked around before finally locating its prey as Jack walked out of his hiding spot, looking a little worse for wear as there were multiple scratches on his faces and even some deep wounds as blood was seeping down his body though he managed to use the jungle's environment to patch them up as best he could as there were leaves and mud present to stop the bleeding as well as vines holding the mud and leaves together while also wearing the wrist gauntlets that he acquired from the Predator he defeated and up to the Yautaja leader.
"You can't rely on your allies now, Yautaja." The Samurai said as he stood face to face with this creature. "I suggest that you don't use your weapons or gadgets as they will not be able to help you. So let us settle this like true warriors."
Jack then placed his sheathed katana on the ground as well as taking off the wrist gauntlets and making them on drop to the ground as a sign that he was indeed playing by the alien hunter's rules before getting into a boxer stance as he continued. "Also, if you're going to talk, please use your translator to speak my language."
The Predator just stood for a minute, trying to see if Jack was playing any tricks but as it stared at the determined look, before it activated his voice translator before it then took off his mask, showing it's face as it was reptilian in nature and ugly in design.
"Alright, let's finish this, you vile hunter." Jack thought to himself.
The Yautaja then launched a punch at the human who dodged by leaning back before launching a fist only for it to get caught by the alien's hand as the creature then threw the human into a tree. As Jack grunted in pain and struggled to get up, he looked and saw the Predator charging at him, readying both of it's fists. So Jack quickly rolled out of his opponent slamming it's fists into the tree behind him.
Jack then let out a yell as he charged towards the Yautaja as the creature did the same before they locked their hands together in a power struggle. A pretty even one as while Jack was stronger, he wasn't in his peak condition right now as well as the fact that the hunter's armor was tough to damage without a weapon and while the Yautaja was strong and tough thanks to his armor and training, it doesn't have the same level of skill as Jack does. So it was pretty even. But one slip up might change that for either one of them.
"Give up!" The Predator demanded in English. "And face your death like a warrior."
"As long as I draw breath, that is not going to happen." Jack retorted, standing his ground.
Leaning their heads back, the two collided their heads together before the force of them caused them both to stumble back before they then slammed their right fists into their respective opponent's faces, the force of their punches knocking them both to the ground bringing the fight to a brief halt.
Breathing heavily, the Predator said to the Samurai, "So... will you yield?"
"Am I not defeated... and I shall hold my ground." Jack said in defiance despite his condition, undeterred.
After taking a few moments to recuperate some of their strength, the two honor filled warriors stood back and faced each other once more, with determination in their souls.
With a yell and a roar from their lungs, they charged at each other once more as they exchanged blow after blow!
Come the next morning, both Jack and the creature were both on the ground on one knee as the fight continued throughout the night. They were beaten and battered in multiple areas of their bodies, and they were bloodied and physically and mentally exhausted beyond belief but regardless, their willpower kept them going.
"Ready to... end this, Predator?" Jack asked as his vison in his non blackened eye was blurry but refused to give up.
"To... the end!" The hunter said, as his vison was also blurry but he refused to yield.
Launching towards each other, the Predator launched a punch at the same time that the human warrior did. But Jack managed duck before delivering a massive uppercut to the creature's chin with the last of his strength but the Yautaja refused to go down as despite being hit first, the Predator knew Jack would dodge so using what little strength it has, he slammed his leg into Jack's face, sending him flying backwards into a large rock.
As Jack began to close his eyes, the last thing he saw was the alien hunter was crashing onto his neck with a cracking sound.
After two hours of sleep, Jack opened his eyes as he felt his strength as he looked down at the Predator, who hasn't gotten up. Maybe it was over.
Looking down at his defeated adversary, the Samurai saw that he was twitching.
"Still alive, that is impressive." Jack thought to himself before he then bowed to him. "Despite your dangerous appearance and savage hunting skills, you fought with honor, so I will grant you the favor of a quick death."
Just then, Jack heard some disturbing cackling. Looking own he saw that the Predator was slowly turning it's head up to look at him.
"Not need to, Samurai." the hunter said weakly yet confidently as he was unable to move properly due to the cracked neck. "We both die together, that is true honor."
Looking over, Jack saw that one of the alien's wrist gauntlets was beeping as the strange symbols were turning off.
Looking to his right he saw the wounded Predator he beaten from before struggling to move as well as his katana.
Acting quickly, Jack ran towards the Predator, placed him on his back, grabbed his katana and quickly ran away from the area as fast as he could as the Predator smiled to himself as he was engulfed in a fiery explosion.
Jack was running when he spotted a tree with a vine attached to it standing over a waterfall. Jumping towards the vine, Jack swung on it as he managed to get out the blast radius in time as he and the Predator on his back fell into the waters below them as they braced themselves for the depths.
Having barely managed to escape with their lives, Jack pulled the Predator out of the water as he then collapsed on the ground breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry... about your... friends." Jack apologized.
"No need. They chosen their fate." The dreadlocked hunter said as he sat up. "Guess I'm staying here for now, huh?"
"Not so." Jack said as he sat up too. "I too, am seeking to return to my own time. Perhaps, we can assist each other there." He then out his hand for the extra-terrestrial to take. "We must defeat Aku first. Before we do, we must treat your injuries."
"Very well." The Predator said after some hesitation as he took the Samurai's hand as shook it.
As they both were now standing, the two then walked off into the forest as they set course for a hospital and afterwards, Aku's lair.
Wherever it may be...
"Watch out! Gotta get back, back to the past, Samurai Jack!"
The End!
