Since I'm going through and fixing it, I decided to post another chapter. I hope you are still enjoying it. I realize my mistake on the last couple chapters, in my version of it I have breaks between POV but apparently it didn't transfer over, I had forgot about that since it's been awhile since I've posted something, trying to figure this site out again lol anyway, here it is enjoy... again I do not own anything just having fun. If anyone has a better title for this let me know, I couldn't think of one. lol
Chapter 3
Callie
The trip to New York was good, Arizona managed to find a company that would come in and pack everything for us. All I had to do was pick out what I needed until the rest of my stuff arrived in Seattle. Arizona also had arranged for a company to ship my car, which I was thankful for, my ex-wife was really a god send, and I don't know why I ever left her. We would have drove it, but neither one of us really wanted to spend a ton of hours on the road. We had flew out on Sunday and were back the next Sunday. Bailey had told Arizona to take as much time off as she needed, which we were grateful for, it meant we could spend some quality time with our family. Although we weren't together, it still felt as if we are a family and having Arizona back in my life was exactly what we both needed. It was good for Sofia having her mom's living in the same city, let alone the same house. We did have one minor problem at the airport in New York, or shall I say I had the problem.

Walking up to the same gate we always went to when Sofia was flying. Sofia was her giddy self, walking between Arizona and I, holding our hands, I was smiling, this is what it's going to be like to be a family again. As we got to the gate and found a place to sit, this perky flight attendant came over to us "hi Sofia" she smiled at my daughter, I remember seeing her the last time Sofia flew to New York. "you're back soon"
"hi Sarah" I saw Sofia smile brightly at the woman "yeah, but you don't need to sit with me this time, both my mommies are here"
"oh" I see the woman, Sofia called Sarah, look at Arizona "hello Dr. Robbins, how are you" the tone of her voice made my blood start to boil. 'was she really flirting with her' I listen in more, but making it look as though I wasn't giving no mind to the conversation. That was until I hear "this is my mommy Dr. Calliope Torres" Sofia smiled
"Dr. Torres" the woman smiled at me reaching out her hand "it's nice to be formally introduced"
"yeah" I smile 'this bitch thinks she can hit on my girl and get away with it? I think not' I reach out my hand to shake hers. By the look on Arizona's face, I could tell she knew what I was thinking. "it's great to meet you, I have to get going I'll see you on the plane" she smiled and walked away, I hear Sofia call out "bye Sarah"
"Calliope" Arizona said quietly as she moved closer to me, I look at her "why are you?"
"I'm sorry I just" I quietly say back
"I've told you, I love you, and I don't want anyone else" she leans in, I thought for a moment she was going to kiss me but she reached down squeezed my hand and turned away. Leaving me thinking that she never told me the last part of that statement. I sigh and smile, as our eyes meet "ok I never said that last part, but I'm telling you now" her dimples were showing.

Now, it had been a month since our trip to New York, and Sofia was staying with Zola for the night. Neither of us were scheduled to work the following day. I found Arizona sitting on the couch with a glass of wine when I came in from work "hey"
"oh hey"
"what you doing?" I asked knowing full well what she was doing but I couldn't think of anything else to say
"not much, just relaxing" she held up her glass of wine
"oh that sounds nice, I'm going to go shower and I'll join you" I see Arizona nod as I make my way into my room for a change of clothes, and then into the bathroom shutting the door. We were alone tonight for the first time since Sofia came home from camp. I let my mind wander while I shower, smiling to myself and what tonight might bring.

Arizona
Another ten minutes later Callie came walking back out "feel better?"
"I do" she sat down on the couch sighing
"you hungry?" I ask not sure what I wanted but I was starting to feel the pang of hunger in my stomach and the fact that I had been drinking wine wasn't sitting right.
"I am" Callie looked at me "what you thinking?"
"I'm not sure I just know I need to eat"
"alright how about we go out somewhere?"
"like a date?" I say looking at her
"if you want to call it that" Callie winked
"maybe I do" I smile, my dimples showing I knew she wouldn't be able to resist that smile, truth be told I had thought about asking Callie on a date, but didn't want to ruin what we had going.
"well then, Dr. Robbins, will you go on a date with me?" she asked, raising in eyebrow like only Callie could do, I decide to tease her a little "hmmm" I smile "let me think about it" I let out in a laugh
"oh my god" Callie threw her head back on the couch "Arizona you're hopeless"
"I know" I laugh looking over at her "I'd love to go on a date with you Calliope"
"alright let's go" Callie stood up

Callie
'was this really a date?' I thought as we headed out the door "I'll drive since you've been drinking"
"thanks" Arizona gave a smile that showed her adorable dimples again, that was one of the things I remember first noticing about the perky doctor, whenever she smiled it showed off those dimples. I went ahead of Arizona opening the car door for her. "this reminds me of when we were dating" Arizona smiled as she passed. I just smile not saying anything shutting the door and walked around the car.
"Calliope, where are you taking me?"
"you'll see" I looked over at the blonde, there has never been a day I didn't think Arizona was beautiful but something about her today. Her hair was flat, and she had on that blue shirt that showed off her cleavage perfectly, and those jeans. I can feel myself starting to get worked up, I move in the seat trying to clear my head, I cant let my thoughts go there, everything had been so good between us, no I shouldn't let my thoughts go there. 'god she's beautiful' I smile and drove away. It wasn't long before I pulled into a parking lot and heard Arizona laugh "this is where you're taking me?"
"yup" I look over at the blonde and smiled "you love this place"
"I do" Arizona leaned over placing a soft kiss on my cheek "thank you" and again I find my thoughts going back to the place they don't belong, shaking my head "alright let's go" I turned off the car, walking to open the door for Arizona.

Arizona
Callie had brought us to one of my favorite low-key restaurants. One we use to frequent quite often when Callie was a resident and broke. We were seated quickly, in the same booth we used to always ask for. "I think they remembered us" Callie laughed as she slid herself into the booth.
"its been like 10 years"
"7 but close" Callie laughed reaching for the menu
"can I get you ladies something to drink to start out with?" the waiter asked
"I'll just have water, thank you" Callie says
"red wine, anything you have is fine" I smile "why not keep up with the buzz" I added shrugging. I was feeling good, a slight buzz from the 2 glasses I had before Callie came home. I wanted to keep feeling this way. I see Callie nod, but not taking her eyes off the menu. Like an idiot I sat there watching her, I must have looked like a perve when Callie noticed "what?"
"huh?" a blush creeps across my face "you just look so" I stopped shaking my head I picked up the menu in hope that would distract us from wherever this conversation was going. The waiter came with the drinks and took our orders, now with no menus to focus on, we found ourselves staring into one another's eyes. "my mind has been wandering lately" Callie said not taking her eye off mine
"oh? About what?" I ask setting the wine glass on the table 'the food really needs to hurry up'
"remember the shooting" Callie asked
"how could I forget, that was one of the scariest days of my life"
"yeah, mine too, but it made me realize I didn't want to lose you"
"you've changed my life Calliope" I was looking directly into Callie's eyes "in a good way" I see Callie nod then look down at her water. I reached my hand out and covered Callie's on the table "I'm serious Calliope"
"I know" Callie looked up again, both of us getting lost in each other's eyes "you've opened my eyes to something I thought I didn't think I ever wanted" Callie nodded. I wasn't sure if it was the wine talking or what but I found the next words coming out of my mouth before I could think about it "why don't we start dating"
"other people?" Callie looked, I laugh "no each other dummy" I hit her arm and see a smile grow on Callie's face "exclusively?" Callie asked
"well yeah" I wink "I don't want to see you with anyone else"
"there is no one else I want" Callie said softly "so this is a date?"
"if you want to call it that, but this place is more of a family place, where we go when we need to talk, a place we bring Sofia" I see Callie lean across the table and place a soft kiss on my lips "what was that for?"
"you were rambling" she smiled "as cute as it is I needed to shut you up"
"you think my rambling is cute?" I look at her, 'had she ever told me that before' I see Callie nod "have I not told you that?"
"I'm not sure" I picked up my wine glass and took a long drink, missing the softness of Callie's lips. "well if I didn't, I meant to"

Callie
'did she just asked me to date her?' trying to keep myself from bouncing up and down like Sofia does when she's excited. She was rambling which means she's nervous, not thinking about it I leaned across the table, giving the blonde a soft kiss. 'that usually shuts her up' and it worked, but brought on a completely different conversation. Luckily, we were broke from that when the food arrived. We ate in comfortable silence, I snuck looks at Arizona when I thought she wasn't looking. We are officially trying again, dating, I hadn't dated anyone in a long time. Well since Penny, but that was a train wreck waiting to happen, shaking the thought of the woman who took me away from my former life, I looked at the blonde, who was wiping her mouth with her napkin "how the hell are you so cute" I didn't realize I said that out loud
"I'm not" I hear Arizona laugh
"oh" I look down embarrassed, my food was gone, and Arizona was done, "shall we get the check?"
"yes" I see Arizona smile, then wave down the waiter.
The bill paid, we exited the restaurant, it was a nice night, I couldn't bear the thought of being inside, I was inside at the hospital all day, and needed some fresh air "how's your leg?"
"fine why?"
"think you could go for a walk?"
"I'd love to Calliope"
"it's just too nice of a day, and we rarely get those, I didn't want to be stuck in the house, maybe we could go to the beach and walk"
"I'd love that" I nod as I opened the car door for Arizona, shutting it I walked slowly around to the driver's side "this really is a date" I say to myself before climbing in.

"I need more wine" I almost fall down on the couch, after our walk, my leg was starting to hurt. It'd been years, I was used to most the pain, especially when it came to being on my feet all day standing in an OR, but for some reason today, it was bothering me. I moved, taking it off "ahh much better"
"it's hurting?" I hear Callie ask setting the bottle of wine on the coffee table, with a glass for herself
"I wouldn't say hurting, more like super uncomfortable"
"we shouldn't have taken that walk" Callie said pouring us each some wine and sitting down on the couch
"I'm fine" I smile reaching for my wine
"why don't you let me massage it"
"no Calliope, it's alright" I say putting my glass back on the table "now that it's off I'm good"
"alright but I'm offering"
"you know where it will lead" I say quietly 'but I really, really want it to go there'
"what would it lead to?"
"you're hands on me, it always makes me want you to touch me everywhere" I feel myself blush
"there's nothing wrong with that" Callie said softly
"there is when we need to take things slow"
"hmm"
"Calliope" I turn toward her on the couch "I really want this to work out this time, I want this to be it for me, I want you to be it for me"
"you're it for me" Callie reached up putting her hand on my cheek "I've told you before I'm in love with you Arizona Robbins, and if taking it slow is what gets me you, then I'm all for it" I was loving the feeling of Callie's hand on my face, there was nothing more I wanted to do than to take the Latina woman to bed right now, but I knew I couldn't, it would only make things worse. Callie hadn't even been back in my life for 2 months. Well, she was in my life but just for Sofia. "Arizona" I hear Callie whisper, I turn to look at her "can I kiss you?"
"why are you asking me now?" I laugh
"well" I see Callie shrug her shoulders, she smiled reaching out pulling me in for a deep kiss, one I had missed so much. It was the kiss that I had fell in love with all those years ago, Callie's lips were addicting, I felt Callie's tongue rub across my bottom lip, asking for entrance, granting it, we both let out a moan when our tongues touched. We were broke apart when my damn pager went off, I let out a small giggle "good thing I've only had 3 glasses of wine"
"come on, I'll drive you" Callie placed another kiss on my lips and stood up, watching as I put on my leg quickly. "you got good at that"
"yeah I had to learn quick" I smile standing up reaching for my purse as I followed my Latina to her car. I smile at the thought that Callie was mine, she'd always been and always will be mine.

And once again I find myself wandering around the hospital, the difference now is I am employed here. Although I'd never gave up my position on the board, or stake in the hospital, so I was always part owner of it. This time felt different, I felt different, happy, yeah, I was happy for the first time since before the plane crash, that had taken the life of my best friend, the love of his life and my wife's leg, back then Arizona was my wife, but now she was…. Hmm, I'm not sure what to call Arizona anymore, yeah she was still technically my ex-wife, but we're dating now, trying again. I smile as I turned a corner almost running into Bailey "Torres what are you doing here?"
"Arizona got paged" I shrug
"so, why are you here?" Bailey asked I could see the confusion on her face
"I drove" I shrugged again
"ok" I could tell she was wondering what was going on but she wouldn't ask, Bailey always said she didn't want to know about everyone's personal lives, but she'd proven time and time again she wanted to know about everything "we went out for dinner" I decide to put the woman out of her misery
"are you two" she started to ask but I cut her off by quietly saying "we decided to start dating"
"dating" she perked up at hearing the news "that's good"
"yes, it is" I smile and nod
"well, good luck, I'll see you later" the smaller woman smiled again and began walking away. I had to stifle a laugh shaking my head, turning around I saw Bailey reach for her phone. I let out a small laugh, I had a feeling she was texting someone about the news she just heard. Shaking my head again I turn and began to walk. "there you are" I hear that voice that made all my senses come to life "here I am"
"you ready?" Arizona asked
"oh, you're done?"
"yeah, the baby is fine for now, surgery can wait until Monday"
"awesome" I said, shocked by the word that came out of my mouth, I hear Arizona laugh "come on lets go home and finish what we started" she reached for my hand, and led me out of the hospital like we had done so many times in the past.
The front door barely got closed before Arizona had me pushed up against it, our lips locked on each other, tongues dueling around inside mouths fighting for control. Arizona's hand started to wander down my body, once she got the hem of my shirt I had to fight myself to pull back breathing heavy "I love where this is going, but"
"I know, I know" Arizona let out in a groan of frustration.
"I know, this sucks"
"totally sucks"
"but it'll be worth the wait" I kiss her on the nose, reaching for her hand I pulled her to the couch "come watch tv with me" I see Arizona nod and sit down.

Arizona
Callie had been back at Grey Sloan for just over 2 months, and up until now we had managed to not be in the same surgery. "hey" I say in my perky voice, walking into the scrub room
"hey" Callie smiled looking me over, I felt her eyes on me, and knew instantly she could see the light mark just below my scrub top, I smile, knowing she was thinking about our make out session last night. We're still taking things slow but couldn't resist a little fun.
"fancy meeting you here Dr. Torres"
"same to you Dr. Robbins" Callie held back her laugh, I leaned over whispering "you know what a turn on it is to hear you call me Dr. Robbins"
"oh um" Callie cleared her throat "just the reaction I was hoping for" I place a soft kiss on Callie's cheek and went about scrubbing in.
Surgery was going great, it was a 14-year-old who fell while rollerblading, breaking his femur, which Callie repaired with ease. I have always loved watching Callie do her magic, she really was the best in her field. "I really missed being here"
"we missed you" I say, standing back from the table I was just waiting for Callie to close
"this OR" Callie said softly, causing me to look around as a memory popped into my head, the time just after a successful leg repair of a 5 year old, when Callie pushed me up against the wall and proceeded to have her way with me "it is my favorite OR" I smile looking up meeting Callie's eyes. I could tell she was smiling under her mask. Lost for a moment in each other's eyes I hear my phone ring "it's Sofia's school" a nurse said
"hmm wonder what that's about" the sound ended and a few moments later Callie's rang "go see what's up, I'm almost done here" Callie looked at me, stepping back from the table removing my gloves, quickly I reached for my phone heading into the scrub room. Not a minute later Callie was at my side. "this is Dr. Robbins"
"Dr. Robbins this is Sandra Roslin, Sofia's teacher"
"yes, hi" I say quickly wanting to get to the point "I'm sorry Dr. Torres and I were both in surgery"
"oh gosh, I didn't mean to bother you" she said in a giggle
"it's ok, what's wrong with Sofia?"
"oh, nothing, I'm sorry she just had a quick question for you" another laugh "I'll just pass her the phone" I look at Callie shaking my head, putting the phone on speaker so Callie could hear too "momma?" a little voice came through
"mommy's here too" I say
"oh, hi mommy"
"hi" Callie said still looking at me in confusion
"I was wondering if I could go to Jenny's house after school" we just looked at each other shaking our heads "yes that's fine" Callie was the first to speak
"thanks mommy, love you, love you too momma"
"love you too kiddo be safe" I say as the call disconnected. We look at each other with a sigh of relief "wait til she's a teenager"
"yeah, no" Callie laughed
"looks like it's just us for dinner" I winked seeing Callie smile, that devilish smile she only had when she had something naughty going through her head
"Dr. Robbins will you have dinner with me?" Callie asked, not having the mask on anymore I smile, I could tell my face was red, and I know my dimples were showing "I'd love to Dr. Torres"
"alright let's get cleaned up and head out" as hard as I tried I couldn't keep my eyes off Callie as she reached for the soap, Callie gave me a wink as she started scrubbing out.

Deciding on a restaurant that was on the way to the house from the hospital. Sitting down I ordered us both a glass of wine. We had left the hospital at the same time but Arizona seemed to have missed a turn or something and was now just pulling into the parking lot. I laughed to myself, that was one thing I loved about the blonde, how ditzy she could be. One time she was driving us to her apartment from the hospital, which was pretty much a straight shot, one road, no turns, we somehow ended up on the beach. Smiling when I saw my blonde enter the restaurant, looking all confused. How on earth she did her job as good as she does was beyond me "hey sorry"
"get lost?" I couldn't hold back my laugh
"ugh, don't make fun of me please Calliope" Arizona laughed as she sat down
"I really don't understand how you do that, you were following me"
"yeah I don't know either" I watched as she reached for her wine, taking a sip "I zone out or something" she shrugged
"at least you made it" I wink
"yeah" Arizona looked up. I caught her eyes, they sparkled today, they did most days, but today there was something different in them. "Arizona, have I told you lately that" I pause not sure if I should go on, the look in her eyes told me she was thinking the same thing. The next thing I knew, Arizona had placed her hand on top of mine on the table "I love you too Calliope" I felt my face turn red and heat up, staring into those blue orbs, I got lost "Calliope, I've been thinking" 'oh shit she used my full name' she often called me Calliope, but not in this tone "about?" I ask nervously, reaching for my wine
"we should take a trip together, maybe Sofia could stay with Mer, for a weekend or something"
"that could be arranged" I feel myself smile 'a weekend away just the two of us, wait does this mean we're back together officially?'
"awesome" Arizona smiled, her dimples showing, I could feel that feeling I often got when around the blonde, in my stomach as she says "I was also thinking"

I couldn't believe the words that were coming out of my own mouth, we've been dating for over a month, and I was completely ready to take it farther, but to blurt it out like that, wow. I was broke out of my thoughts when I hear Callie say "Arizona, are you saying you want to be a couple again?" I look up into those brown eyes, and nod "Calliope, I want nothing more than to be with you" feeling a bit corny and like a teenager again I smile and say "Calliope Iphegenia Torres, will you be my girlfriend" I see Callie smile "Arizona Robbins, I would love for nothing more than to be your girlfriend" she than leaned across the table, placing a kiss on my lips. Pulling back when the waiter appeared with the food, I couldn't even remember when we ordered. Some days it was hard to believe I was a doctor with how ditzy I am.
Back at the house, I find myself in the kitchen, cleaning up, it seemed we had left a mess in our haste to get to work that morning, deciding to put on some music as I cleaned, I began humming along to The Frey, feeling Callie's arms wrap around me I lean back in her, 'I have missed this', there was nothing better than when Callie came up behind me while I was washing dishes and held me tight. I stopped what I was doing just to enjoy the feeling. "Sofia is staying at Jenny's" Callie whispered, her breath just above my ear causing me to shiver, I couldn't say anything so just nodded "I guess Zola is there too"
"I figured as much" I whisper, Callie being so close made it hard to concentrate on anything
"well girlfriend, what would you like to do tonight?"
"get this mess cleaned up" I turn around "then anything" we shared a smile, she leaned in kissing me softly at first but as her tongue ran along my bottom lip, I opened my mouth as our tongues started their dueling match in each others mouths, Callie pulled away when the words to the next song hit her ears "I don't mind it, I don't mind at all, it's like you're the swing set, and I'm the kid that falls" Arizona heard the words, and gave a sad smile, hearing Callie whisper "I've always loved Pink"
"hmm me too" I hum, laying my head on Callie's chest as we listen to the song. "No I don't believe you, when you say don't come around here no more, I won't remind you, you said we wouldn't be apart, no I don't believe you, when you say you don't need me anymore, so don't pretend to not love me at all"

I stand there holding Arizona as the words from the song registered in my head "Arizona" I say in a whisper "I'm so sorry for everything"
"hey, its ok, I'm, we're past it" Arizona lifted her head up and kissed my cheek
"I know, but I still feel horrible, the things that were said"
"Calliope, none of that matters now, you're home where you belong" I smile "yes I am" Arizona reached up putting her hand on my cheek. It didn't take long before our lips met, and I had Arizona pushed back against the counter. To my surprise Arizona found some momentum, pushing me back leading me to the bedroom. Once inside she kicked the door closed pushing me up against it. As our tongues continued their match inside each other's mouth. Knowing where this was going, I push us off the door and back to the bed, once the back of Arizona's knees hit the bed, she plopped down, both of us letting out a laugh at how clumsy we were being.

Looking up into Callie's eyes, pushing some hair out of her face, I smile seeing the love in them "make love to me Calliope" I whisper hearing Callie's rough but sweet voice "I want nothing more" before our lips met again. Callie began slowly, which was torture on me, I can feel how wet I am, and it was getting worse as Callie moved her lips down to my neck, kissing and nibbling softly. "god Arizona I love how you taste" Callie moaned "I just, god I can't get enough of you" I let out a loud moan, when I feel Callie's hand moved down my body to the hem of my shirt, then back up underneath, quickly finding my bra clad nipple. Rubbing it softly until it became erect, I let out another loud moan "god Calliope you're going to kill me" Callie then pulled back, reaching for the hem of my shirt, ripping it off, buttons flying everywhere "I liked that shirt" I laugh
"I'll get you a new one" Callie said reaching behind me in once swift motion she undid my bra, as it slid down my arms I tossed it off the side of the bed. I can tell Callie was all but drooling at the sight of my now naked upper half. It wasn't long before I feel Callie's mouth on my left breast, tongue swirling around the already erect nipple. "Calliope" I moan, as Callie moved to give the other one the same attention. "wait" I say, Callie pulled back giving me an unsure look "I want to take my leg off" Callie nodded as her hands went to the button on my slacks, quickly pulling them down along with the black satin panties. I let out a little giggle, remembering how much Callie loved seeing me in black panties. Remembering they were the same pair Callie had picked up under her bed at the hotel, I smile, as Callie reached down and undid my prosthetic, gently leaning it against the bed "better?"
"hmm, not really" I look at her, smiling when I see the confused look again "you my sexy girlfriend are wearing too many clothes" I reach for the hem of her shirt pulling her closer
"hmm what shall we do about that?" Callie asked playfully I tighten my hold on the shirt pulling it over her head and tossing it in the same direction my clothes had went. Quickly undoing her bra it went the same direction. "hmm much better" I smile leaning up taking Callie's nipple in my mouth "god Arizona, I so missed your mouth on me"
"maybe you should get undressed, and I'll put it on you more" I whisper Callie quickly pulled back and removing her pants and panties in one quick swipe. Both moaning as our naked bodies laid together. Finding the momentum I swiftly flipped us over, hovering above Callie, I lean down kissing her lips, then made my way down Callie's body, kissing every inch. "my god Calliope you're soaked"
"I've been soaked since I first saw you" Callie admitted coming out in a moan, causing me to smile, spreading Callie's legs "you smell so good, I have to taste you" I say then began licking Callie's slit "oh god you taste just as good" not letting Callie answer before I dove right in, slowly licking up and down Callie's most delicate area. This was one of my favorite places to be, between Calliope's legs, it was heaven.
"Arizona please" I hear her moan
I pull back and say "tell me what you want Calliope"

I woke up to Arizona wrapped tightly around me. Smiling I realized for the first time since the night before I walked out of the therapist office, I was finally happy. I know I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with the blonde, who was sound asleep almost on top of me. Moving a bit to check the time, noting it was still early, the sun had just made its presence known, and we had nowhere to be. Meredith had offered to bring Sofia home, since she was already picking up Zola. I let out a content sigh, hearing a soft snore come out of Arizona, then a grunt, and a moment later blue eyes popped open. "what time is it" Arizona asked in her groggy voice
"630" I ran a hand through Arizona's hair, as she snuggled back into me
"hmmm I really missed this"
"I have too" letting out a soft giggle as Arizona's lips latched on to a nipple "you want to go again?"
"I never want to stop" Arizona said as she climbed on top of me, kissing me hard. I let out a loud moan, as Arizona continued making love to me, for the millionth time in the last 6 hours.
I was really trying for it to be a slow burn, but my head gets away from me. I also liked the idea of Arizona being ditzy outside of work, I have a friend who is like that lol.
