Chapter 4
Arizona
"momma" Sofia came barreling into the kitchen, where I was washing up the dishes from breakfast. "Sofia honey, don't run in the house"
"sorry" she looked down, her excited face now a frown, shaking my head at my daughter "what did you need?"
"oh, um" Sofia looked around "mommy said to come get you"
"oh?" I look at her with confusion "what does she want?"
"I don't know, but you should come" she reached out grabbing my hand pulling me out of the kitchen and up the stairs where Callie was. Callie was standing in the guest room looking around. "um" I wasn't sure what was going on "so Sofia came running into the kitchen all excited"
"oh right" Callie smiled turning around looking at me, it had been a month since we were officially back together.
"so?" I ask still confused why she dragged me to the guest room of all places, or why my girlfriend looked to be lost standing in an almost empty room. Callie let out a small laugh, "I was just in here looking around, what do you think about turning this room into an office?"
"well" I step farther in, looking around the room. Callie had slowly been moving into the master bedroom with me. She still had some odd stuff left in the room but mostly everything was in the other room "where would your room be?" I ask holding back a smile
"well I guess, if you want to sleep alone I could just crash on the couch" Callie said playfully "or Sofia can share her bed"
"I'm not sharing my bed" our daughter said sternly "you share a room and sleep with momma, not with me" this causes us both to laugh at our daughter
"but Sofia, it could be fun" Callie said looking at her "we could snuggle all night long"
"and I wouldn't get any sleep because of your snoring"
"I do not snore" Callie protested
"um, yeah you do" I smile holding back my laugh
"I do not snore" Callie pouted going to the bed and sitting down with her arms crossed. I let out a laugh it was the same thing Sofia did when she was pouting "hey Sof, mommy's acting just like you"
"are you going to be a rhino too and storm out?" the girl joked
"I do not snore" Callie huffed "and I'm not a 7-year-old"
"you're acting like one" I laugh walking over to her
"yeah momma, you're acting just like me" Sofia laughed jumping on Callie
"you're telling me I snore, I do not snore" she was still stuck on that, I laugh again "but its cute" I place a soft kiss on Callie's cheek. Sofia saw it "I'm so happy we are a family again" the girl beamed with excitement
"I am too" I say meeting Callie's eyes.
"I know that look" Sofia jumped down running out of the room "I'll leave now" she giggled, I could hear the door to Sofia's room shut "we scarred our daughter for life" Callie laughed
"nah, she just wants us to be happy"
"and doesn't want to see this" Callie reached for me pulling me close, kissing me, I smile into the kiss pulling Callie tighter into me "I am happy"
"I am too" Callie pulled back, reaching up she brushed some hair out of my face, our lips meeting again, as I pushed Callie back onto the bed, making sure our bodies touched in all the right areas. Feeling Callie's hands start to wander down my body, then squeeze my ass, I let out a soft moan "I love when you do that"
"I love doing it" Callie winked
"so why did I get summoned in here?"
"I'm not exactly sure anymore" Callie laughed, I roll off her, putting my head on Callie's chest "maybe we should take her to the park or something, it seems to be a nice day"
"sounds good to me, just let me finish the dishes" I place another kiss on Callie's lips then stood up.

Callie
It was not long before we were in the car headed towards the park. I had text Meredith to see if she wanted to meet us, I had yet to see the kids, outside of Zola, but that was only because she was friends with Sofia. "mommy's Zola, Bailey and Ellis are here" the little girl exclaimed excitedly. "you didn't tell her?" Arizona laughed
"nah, I figured we'd surprise her" I wink, opening the car door and stepping out, Arizona met me around the car reaching for my hand as we made our way to the picnic table Meredith was sitting at. "took you long enough, I was getting bored" Meredith said once we were close enough to hear
"yeah, sorry the wife wanted to finish the dishes before we left" I say stepping into the picnic table, then helping Arizona
"wife huh?" Meredith laughed
"well" I shrug
"someday" Arizona placed a kiss on my cheek
"hmm" I see Meredith look us over "maybe you should think about it, you know I could get ordained" she winked
"we haven't had that talk yet" I look down, picking at a crack in the table.
"maybe you should" I could hear the smile in Meredith's voice
"maybe we should" I feel Arizona putting her hand on my thigh, and feel my heartbeat quickening at the words that just came out of my girlfriends' mouth, I look up into those blue eyes, "hmm maybe"
"well let's talk about it" Meredith's voice broke through
"now?" I look at her in shock, 'I don't know if I'm ready for that, I have no doubt I want Arizona to be my wife again, but isn't that moving a little too fast? We'd only been back together, officially, for just over a month'
"yeah, why not" Arizona's voice came through my thoughts
"you want to get married?" I could not take my eyes off the blonde
"yes, Calliope" there were the dimples again, I feel my heart rate rise, not sure if it was panic from the conversation or Arizona herself.
"this is great" Meredith laughed
"and you're not getting ordained, you'll be standing next to her" Arizona looked over at our friend
"maid of honor? I'd be honored" Meredith laughed
"whoa wait a minute" I cut them off, "don't I have a say in any of this?"
"no" Meredith laughed
"but I haven't even asked yet" I protest, not that it would do any good once Meredith got an idea in her head, she did whatever she could to make said idea happen
"you don't need to ask; Arizona could ask you" she laughed hitting Arizona on the arm "do it" she nodded.
"Calliope Iphegenia Torres, will you marry me?" Arizona asked reaching for my hand
"oh my god this is great" Meredith said taking out her phone and snapping pictures, a few moments go by without me saying anything, my mind was in a whirlwind, 'she really just asked me to marry her' and a thousand different more thoughts all jumbled together "are you going to answer her?" Meredith laughed breaking through my thoughts "um" I clear my throat, and look into those blue eyes seeing all I've ever wanted "yes" I croak out, and see Arizona smile as she squeezes my hand.
"what?" Meredith laughed "I didn't hear you"
"that's good because you didn't need to hear me" I give her my fuck off look
"what did you say?"
"she said yes" Arizona said reaching over placing a kiss on my lips "I love you"
"I love you too"
"hey Sofia" Meredith called "come here" all the kids came running "what is it" Sofia asked out of breath
"how would you feel about your moms getting married" Meredith asked
"married?" Sofia asked looking at her moms
"mmhmm" Meredith laughed
"oh my god that's so awesome" Sofia called out, jumping up and down
"what's going on?" Zola asked looking at her friend
"my moms are getting married" Sofia called still out jumping up and down, I have no idea where this kid gets her energy, if I had half of it, I could do so much more.
"well now you have to" Meredith smiled proud of herself
"guess we do" I look at Arizona
"yes" Sofia called out again and ran off the others following her.
"well then" Meredith's voice was heard "we have a wedding to plan"
"you sure this is what you want?" I ask I could feel myself shaking a little
"yes, Calliope, I want nothing more than to call you my wife again"
"again" I grunt feeling Arizona reach over and turn my head, so I was looking into her blue eyes "yes again Calliope, I love you"
"I love you too" I finally let myself smile; how did this happen? Six months ago, I was alone in New York, and now I'm here, with the love of my life, talking about getting married. I know for a fact I want nothing more than to marry her again, but were we really ready for that step? I made a mental note to talk more when we get home. The look on Arizona's face said it was what she wanted, we had gone slow up until now, and how would being married be any different than right now? It wouldn't be, I smile "so you're serious?"
"completely" Arizona reached over touching my hand again "although I would have rather had asked not being prompted by Mer, but yes I'm serious"
"can't be any worse than the last proposal" Meredith said
"true, I didn't run us into the back of a truck this time" Arizona let out a laugh but looked down, I know she has always felt horrible that had happened, but in her words 'it's in the past'
"Arizona" I say softly "everything is perfect, I'm good our daughter is amazing"
"I know but not a day goes by when"
"stop" my voice is stern "it was a long time ago"
"I know, I know" Arizona said sadly
"so wedding" Meredith smiled changing the subject
"wedding" I say meeting my friends eyes and the three of us smile

Arizona
"are you really getting married" an excited Sofia asked from the back seat
"well," I look over at Callie, who was sitting in the driver's seat starting the car
"hmm" Callie smiled putting the car in reverse backing out of the parking lot
"Aunt Meredith said you are"
"Aunt Meredith is a pain in my" I know what she's going to say so I cut her off "Calliope"
"you were going to say ass" Sofia laughed from the back seat
"Sofia" I laugh "we don't say words like that"
"mommy was gonna say it"
"mommy is one"
"hey now" Callie laughed
"so, are you going to get married?" Sofia asked again
"yes baby, we're getting married" Callie smiled, I look back at our daughter seeing her jump up and down in her seat "yes, I can't wait"
"she's so you" I whisper, reaching for Callie's hand
"right now she's acting more like you"
"oh how so?" I ask I had noticed it but wanted Callie's opinion on it
"well the other day I asked her something and she gave me that eye roll and tossed her head like you do"
"yeah I've noticed that too"
"can we get ice cream" the little voice in the back seat asks
"ice cream huh?" I look to Callie who nodded saying "ice cream does sound good"
"ice cream it is"
Later that afternoon I found myself sitting on the couch, thinking about what had happened that morning. I still cannot believe I proposed to Callie again, we have not even been an official couple for that long, were we ready for that step. Looking around the room, my eyes landed on the picture of the day Sofia came home from the hospital. Remembering the feeling of that day, seeing Mark's smiling face. Yes I am ready, but then again I was the one who didn't want the marriage to end in the first place. Letting out a deep breath, am I sure Callie would not leave again, she'd done it once before what's stopping her from doing it again. I was lost in my thoughts I didn't hear Callie come into the room, let alone feel her sitting down on the couch next to me "Arizona"
"hmm?" I look over at her
"are you ok?"
"um, yeah" I smile "I'm ok"
"I think we should talk" Callie suggested
"where's Sofia?" I look around, realizing I hadn't heard or seen my daughter in a while
"she's napping, the excitement of earlier wore her out"
"that was some excitement" I look Callie in the eyes
"and we should talk about it"
"yes we should" I sit back on the couch, as I watched Callie move off the couch and kneel down in front of me "Arizona Robbins, words can't explain how much I love you, I know we've gone through all this before, and I left you, but I promise you, I will never leave you again, you are my person, and I'm sorry I was too dumb to realize that all those years ago" she paused, I see her reach into her pocket "will you marry me?"
"Calliope" I whisper looking from the ring Callie had in her hand up to her eyes "I love you, yes of course I will marry you" Callie placed the ring on my finger, pulling me in for a long passionate kiss. "where did you get the ring?"
"you don't recognize it?"
"should I?" I lift my hand to my face to get a better look at the ring, noticing it was the same ring she placed on my finger all those years ago "how" I look up into those brown eyes
"I have my ways" Callie smiled kissing me again, confused I smile into the kiss, when we broke for air "I still want to know how you got it" as far as I knew, it was tucked away in a jewelry box. "I may have done a little searching" Callie smiled
"hmm" I pull my hand up looking at it again
"did you want a different one?" Callie's voice was full of panic "if you do, I can go" she started to stand before I pulled her back down into a kiss "no Calliope, I love this ring, I always have"
"ok" I see Callie visibly let out the breath she was holding and begin to relax.

Callie
"we could have Bailey marry us again" I let out in a laugh. We got the gang together and were sitting in Meredith's back yard "Calliope, I want it legal this time" Arizona says
"yeah you know it's legal everywhere now" Alex said between shoving handfuls a chips in his mouth
"are you always eating?" April looks at him, he smiled shrugging
"yeah, Karev you've always got something in your mouth" I laugh, causing Alex to be gasp "Torres you got him speechless, good job" Meredith joined in
"so" I see April look at Arizona "who are you having as your maid of honor?"
"well" Arizona looked over at me as our eyes met "we haven't had much time to think about it" I reach for Arizona's hand.
"probably Teddy" Arizona said shyly, I see April's face drop
"if she's back by then" Christina said nonchalantly
"she will be, I talked to her yesterday" Arizona smiled
"well, I heard she wasn't coming back" Christina shrugged
"you know Owen isn't the only one who talks to her right" Arizona threw out, sometimes Christina's I'm so great attitude rubs everyone the wrong way. "hmm" she shrugged "I'm just saying what I heard"
"and I'm telling you what I know, I just said I talked to her yesterday, and she said she'd be here" I could tell Arizona had enough of Christina's attitude "well Mer will you be mine?" I say trying to change the subject
"what is this an elementary school valentines party?" Alex laughed shoving another chip in his mouth "will you be my valentine" he adds his mouth full, chips were flying out as he spoke
"dude stop eating" Meredith said giving him the look she gives her kids
"alright" he shoved another handful in his mouth and sat back in a pout. Meredith shook her head, then turned to me "yes I would love to be your maid of honor, after all this wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for me"
"someone's got a big head" Christina says
"no she's right" I look at Christina, 'time to knock her down a peg or two' I wink at Arizona "she is right, she's the one who suggested it"
"she's also the one who thought up getting them back together" Alex said pointing his beer bottle at Meredith.
"what?" we both turned to look at Alex "Karev speak" Arizona said
"I'm not saying anymore" he laughed taking a drink.
"then go away" Meredith said waving her hand
"I live here" he laughed
"then go play with the kids" Meredith pointed to the kids who were chasing each other around the yard with nerf guns.
"nah I'm good right here" he sat back in his chair almost tipping over. As Bailey walked up and shot him right in the forehead, the darts suction cup sticking. "really dude"
"good job" Meredith says as we all laugh
"screw off" we watch as Alex takes the dart off his forehead, stands and runs after the kid.
"I saw a bunch of cars out front, and heard voices back here" we all turned to see a woman I hadn't yet met "we're talking about the calzona wedding" April smiles happily
"wedding? I love weddings" the woman said making her way to the group, Meredith must have seen the look on my face, she laughed "Callie this is my sister Maggie"
"she's the head of cardio" Arizona offered
"oh my god, you're Callie" Maggie said reaching out her hand "I've heard so much about you"
"yeah, um hi" I reach out my hand taking hers
"sorry I haven't had a chance to meet you yet, I've been back in Boston taking care of some things" Maggie sat down chatting away, I just sat there nodding, looking over at Meredith who was laughing. "Maggie" Meredith said
"oh right, I'm sorry, I do that I just start chatting away and don't let anyone get a word in" she laughed
"hmm" I look over at Arizona "she's perky" Arizona smiled
"remember when you first started" Christina said "and Bailey called you an infant on roller skates"
"oh I miss my heelys" Arizona said sadly "Bailey wasn't a big fan of them"
"she came around" I laugh "anyway so Maggie, how did you?"
"she's Ellis and Richard's" Meredith said filling me in
"wow, how did I not know this?" I sit back in my chair 'certainly something this big Mer would have told me' I feel a sadness in me, Meredith was the only one I kept in contact with, well outside of Arizona, but that was only because Sofia was involved. A thought crossed my mind for a second 'Sofia is the reason we are all here' I look down at the bottle of water I have in my hand, trying not to let my thoughts get the better of me. I was so out of the loop here. I'm brought of my thoughts when I hear Arizona's voice "that's what happens when you leave town" she leans over kissing my cheek and whispered "but you're back now and I'm not letting you go again"
"I'm not going anywhere without you babe" I reach up turning Arizona's head and place a kiss on her lips
"eww get a room" Christina said
"I think it's sweet" April smiled

Arizona
Enjoying the company of our friends, it had been a long time since we'd all gotten together not at a bar. "so when are you getting married" April asked
"hmm" I look at Callie who shrugged "we haven't even told our parents yet"
"you should do it soon" April smiled "I mean you're already living together and have already been married" she went on
"why don't you plan it" Callie looked at April
"seriously?" I can see April's excitement
"yes that's a great idea" I say knowing with April planning the wedding we wouldn't have to do much other than show up
"ok" April turned to her bag, pulling out a small notebook "so what are you thinking?"
"how about you do it all and surprise us" Callie smiled looking at me "that sounds awesome" I say
"alright" April began writing in the notebook
"nerd" Christina commented
"Christina" Meredith scolded. As always when the group was together a pager sounded "ugh it's mine" Callie said pulling it out of her bag. "Sofia" I call my daughter over "we have to go"
"can she stay" Zola asked
"I'm cool with it" Meredith sat back in her chair
"ok" I say standing up "momma got paged in"
"she can stay the night, you two have a night to yourself" Meredith winked
"thanks" Callie said, I reach for Callie's hand and we made our way out.
"good thing we drove" I commented as we got to Callie's car.
"I would have ran home and got the car" we only lived a couple blocks away from Meredith's Callie smiled opening the car door for me, I place a kiss on her cheek as I passed.

The call was not as bad as thought, all I had to do was check some x-rays making sure there wasn't anything more than a clean break. Which was what I found "sorry to page you but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't worse than what it was" Jo said shyly, she was a first-year resident
"no, it's good you did" I smile at her, she was going to be an amazing doctor, I could already tell "I set it, you can go ahead and cast it. I want to see him back here in 6 weeks" I say handing the x-ray back to Jo.
"thanks Dr. Torres" she smiled, I nod and head out the doors, Arizona had waited for me in the car, saying it was her day off, so she'd rather sit in the parking lot then enter the hospital, unless she got paged herself. I did not argue with her, I knew better, and knew exactly how she felt. I smile as I reached for the door handle, and climb in. "that was fast" I see her tuck her phone away in her pocket
"yeah, it was a clean break, I just set it and Wilson is casting it, so now I'm free, what do you want to do?"
"hmm" I see that look in her eyes "we're kidless for the night"
"hmmm" I smile back at her, reaching for the key I start the car pulling out of the lot and head for the grocery store. "I'll just be a minute" I lean over placing a kiss on Arizona's cheek, and climb out of the car.

Arizona
I wasn't sure why we were at the grocery store, apparently Callie had something in mind as to what we were going to do with our evening. Looking at the clock in the car I see it's not even five yet, so it leaves me to assume she's grabbing items for dinner. She was right it didn't take long maybe fifteen minutes, and I saw her walk out of the store. My eyes running up the length of my fiancée, a smile graced my face at the thought of Callie, and I being engaged. Callie opened the back door, setting the bag she was carrying on the back seat. Then climbed in behind the wheel again, I lean over kissing her on the cheek "did you miss me?" I hear her voice
"hmm always" I hum sitting back in my seat, she buckled her seat belt then started the car, a moment later we were back on the road. "now where are you taking me?" I asked confused when she past the turn to our house "what?" she looked at me confused
"you just past the turn to the house, where are we going?" I hear Callie laugh "shit, you got my mind running all over the place I just missed the turn"
"or maybe you're just trying to be like me" I let out laugh, as she turns on the next street bringing us around the other way. "yeah that's it" she looks over at me and winks, causing those all too familiar feelings in my lower part of my body. The rest of our drive was spent in comfortable silence until we get into the house. I follow her into the kitchen, she went to the fridge, taking out some things "I'm going to get dinner started, why don't you relax, maybe take a bath"
"I'm fine with watching you cook" I walk up behind her wrapping my arms around her waist, she pressed back into me, as I kiss her neck "I love you Calliope" I whisper just above her ear, I could see the goosebumps form. She stopped what she was doing, turning around in my embrace "I love you too Arizona" she whispered before our lips met in a passionate kiss.

I do not know what came over me, my plan was to come home and cook dinner, but I found myself with Arizona sitting on the counter, my head between her legs, having a much different dinner than I intended, Arizona's hands in my hair, she was calling out my name. I love the taste of her, it was something I could never get enough of. "Calliope, oh my god" I hear her say, as I dip two fingers inside of her, my mouth latched onto her clit, sucking. "more baby" I hear her say, I withdraw my fingers then insert three, pumping hard, my tongue mimicking the motions set forth by my hand. "Calliope, I'm, oh god" I hear her call out as her body starts to shake. I keep up with the pumping and sucking, curling my fingers, as I hear her call out my name. I let her ride out her orgasm, then withdraw my fingers, give her clit one last kiss, and step back. Making eye contact with her I bring my hand up to my mouth licking each of my fingers clean. I can see the arousal in her eyes again, as she reached out pulling me into a kiss. "hmm" I feel her hum against my lips, as I deepen the kiss, not pulling away until the need for oxygen overpowered my brain. I place my forehead on hers "are you hungry" I whisper
"are you?" she asked "I know you just ate but" I can feel my face start to turn red "we should probably eat; we'll need our energy for what I have planned later"
"oh what's that?" she asked
"it's a surprise" I say knowing what her reaction would be, she hated surprises, I feel her slap my arm "Calliope"
"trust me beautiful you'll love it" I wink and help her pull her pants back up, as I slide her off the counter, I hear her huff, then head towards the bathroom, while I start dinner preparations.

Arizona
I felt amazing, Callie really knew how to please me, something no one else could do. Maybe it was the fact that I have always been completely in love with her, or maybe she just knew what she was doing, I wasn't sure, all I did know was I felt amazing. I made a mental note to make sure I cleaned and sanitized the counter good. I'm in the bathroom, getting myself cleaned up, I hear the clattering of pots and pans coming from the kitchen. I did not know what she was making but I knew it would be amazing. Calliope was an amazing cook; I can feel my mouth start watering just thinking about it. I turn the shower on, let it warm a bit then jump in.

Callie
I was plating the food when Arizona walked back into the kitchen, wearing a robe. On closer inspection I see it's my robe, and she looked amazing in it. I smile at her, and nod to the table for her to sit. "dinners ready"
"it smells amazing"
"thanks" I say setting two plates down, I watch her reach for the wine, pouring us both a glass. Still watching her, I see the ring catch the light, I smile looking up into Arizona's eyes, they shined brightly. In that moment I could not picture my life anywhere other than where the blonde was at.

"do I have something on my face?" I ask, Callie had been staring at me for a while now, I take a napkin to wipe my face.
"no" I see her smile, and her face turn red "I just can't take my eyes off you"
"well" I set my napkin down on the plate, I was finished eating "I can't take my eyes off you either"
"what do you say we take the wine into the bedroom?"
"you think we'll actually drink it" I wink, and stand up, going over wrapping my arms around Callie "because once we get into that bed I'm not taking my hands off you" I kiss her cheek and walk away. A moment later I hear footsteps behind me, as a strong pair of arms wrap around my waist "I love you" I hear her whisper just above my ear. "I love you too" I turn in her arms as our lips meet, she pulls me into the bedroom, I pull at the tie on the robe, and see Callie's face light up when she sees I'm not wearing anything under it. She gives me a wink, then pulls me to the bed.
