Influences: Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Robin McKinley, Derek Walcott, U2.

Fandoms: Writing FFX and Kingdom Hearts at the moment, though I read stuff from all over (Full Metal Alchemist, FF7-9, X-Men: Movieverse, LOTR, etc., etc.). I am particularly fond of taking all the disturbing twisty bits in KH and giving them a good stir. I find myself being ambushed by House fic at the moment (which, to be honest, is actually a lot of fun). I should probably be imprisoned for the godawful things I do to commas.

Bits and pieces: Living in Midatlantic US. Working in genetic research, and hoping to become a poor graduate student in that or evolutionary theory. Went to school in Maine, and miss it dearly at times. Happiest when surrounded by dogs, books, and nabeyaki udon.

Unusual skill: Lobster hypnosis.
