![]() Author has written 4 stories for Star Wars, Darkest Dungeon, Warhammer, and Mass Effect. Well, people seem to be reading my stories. Maybe I should actually write something here? I'm an American college student (read: professional beggar) working for my bachelor's in History, and I like reading, writing, video games, hiking, and generally just getting outside and going someplace under my own power. Nothing too complicated about me, just another person trying to get by. My current stories: Redemption, Rejuvenation is my attempt to write a novelization of the Sith Warrior storyline from the Star Wars: The Old Republic game from BioWare. Nothing too fancy for my first fiction, but hopefully I can make it something more than just a retread of what you might have already played. Welcome Home is my take on the story of the game Darkest Dungeon, seen through the eyes of Alexis, Dismas, and Reynauld. Horrors and monstrosities are to be expected from blighted lands, but the real monsters are found in forms all too familiar. My favorite books: The Black Company series by Glen Cook (Tired of reading books that feature some hero with a destiny to save the world and only he can do it while getting the girl? How about a group of disgruntled mercenaries in a gray-and-gray morality world that reads like Vietnam War fantasy?), Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (My favorite amongst the classic dystopian books, such as 1984 and Animal Farm, which are also fantastic books in their own right, and also the one that is the most eerily reminiscent of modern day society), The Lord of the Rings series (I know what I just wrote in regards to Black Company, but how can you dislike such classics? Make sure to pick up the Silmarillion as well), and about a dozen-and-a-half history books. 9/25/16 update: seems to be being picky about reviews again. If you don't see yours up, don't worry. I saw it. 11/12/16 update: For those of you still interested, the next chapter of Honor and Faith is currently at over four thousand words, and the finished product will most like be over six. Expect it soon-ish. 2/11/17 update: After multiple rewrites and a number of hair pullings, the next chapter of Honor and Faith is at two thousand words. Expect it up by the end of next week at the latest. 4/28/17 update: For those of you who come here desperately hoping that I finally got off my lazy ass and updated, the next chapter of Honor and Faith is currently around four and a half thousand words. Final word count will be near six thousand. Expect it soon. |
