Originally I was imiboland43 but I felt that was a little too on the nose so I've changed my username to something a little more obscure. What can I say about myself though? Well, I'm an avid reader (aren't we all?) and my writing talents are...adequate, I suppose. I do enjoy anime, manga and the occasional k-drama though. My husband says I have a problem, I fail to see it myself.

A few points of interest about me:

I have a fondness for Irish myths and legends. To be fair, I've little choice in that last point, my primary school practically drilled them into us growing up.

I love my job as a midwife - men can be the funniest creatures on the planet when panicking for no reason over their other halves.

People who try to tell me my job or feed misinformation to unsuspecting or scared people on social media, I detest you. No, seriously, stop it. You look like a condescending twat and I won't be surprised if you end up killing someone someday.

I never learned to drive properly...I know, I know, but I accidentally left the car in first gear and ended up putting it through a ditch...I take the bus now, its safer for everyone that way.

I used to be a professional portrait artist but elderly Irish people don't really get the concept of buying things at a reasonable price and the young Irish people were all poor. We needed our money for packets of noodles from Aldi and our petrol-grade vodka. Ah, the life of a student.

Hot water bottles freak me out.

I once got into a fight with a goat. It had a habit of breaking out of my neighbour's field to chew on my washing hanging on the line. I ended up with a broken radius and a tetanus shot. The goat escaped with my bra.

I was diagnosed with Epilepsy ten years ago now. The first time I had a seizure I was eighteen and I awoke to an old lady pouring Holy water on me. Fun times.

My husband is an idiot but he's my idiot.

I have about a hundred and fifty stories saved on my hard-drive and every single one of them are unfinished. I will get to them eventually but I wouldn't hold my breath.

So there you go, a few little facts to get to know me a little better. My writing is for fun only, I'm not serious about it but I do try my best (damn grammar nazis) and half the time I wont even finish writing a story. Fanfiction is my escape from the stress-filled and just plain bizarre days that fill my life.
