In The Shadows, There Is Power.

Such a simple statement, but one that I've learned is absolutely true. Hiding within the shadows and writing, has given me more power over my own life than anything else I've ever tried.

I owe so much to my fellow author The Dark Lord Andros, and it saddens me to know that I will never be able to repay his kindness.

Given that his health has fallen miserably bad, he's no longer able to write. However, he requested it of me to take what he'd created thus far, and give it a new life, so that his legacy might continue.

This is exactly what I intend to do. I've adopted his writing style, and mastered his processes, and having received license over all of his stories, I intend to clean them up and repair them, while still maintaining their heart and soul. I will also be continuing them to finish the story my mentor dreamed of telling.

The intro above is a key example of the power of writing. Friendships and families are made everyday, simply because there are writers in all corners of the world and all walks of life. To those who say fanfiction is a stupid hobby, I have this to say: "anything that can lead to me finding and forming a connection with fellow human beings, is something that can not in anyway be stupid."
