Still alive but suffering through writers block on all my current stories. I've been on an Avatar: The Last Airbender kick. And I gotta tell you there is CRAP for good stories DURING THE SERIES on this site. And way too many Zuko or Katara centric stories. Sokka and Aang are my favorite characters.

And if I had to choose ships, yeah its Kataang, nothing against Zutara, I do think that Zuko and Katara are cute together. But Aang would be heartbroken, and that would kill me. As for Sokka... Toph's crush is adorable, but I love Sukka, but at the same time, I think its really sad and sweet that he still thinks about Yue. Basically I like ANYONE with Sokka. Though I have yet to find one decently written Azukka fic. Namely one where they are enemies at first, and then SLOWLY, grow to like eachother. I think that that couple would be really interesting, cause both Azula and Sokka are really smart. And both are major nerds when it comes to love. (With Azula being slightly psycho. More so toward the end of the series where she has a total mental breakdown.)

One Idea I had for a half ways plausible Azukka is that Azula captures Sokka right after she kills Aang. Then keeps him prisoner. Meanwhile The others still go met up with Hakoda. (Only with a much crankier Katara.) And Sokka's bag with all his plans for the Invasion are discovered in their luggage. (Which would actually vindicate Katara for being so protective of it being SOKKA'S PLAN.) -Did anyone else get annoyed with her attitude in that scene? I mean Christ woman this is your father, soul remaining parent you have left and your going to alienate him? I know I know he left. But you would think sometime during that MONTH trapped on a ship with the guy she would have squared that away. I mean what the hell was she doing? Hiding in the privy?- (Okay rant over sorry.)

so the invasion happens, with Aang going to get the Fire Lord while Toph and Katara search for Sokka. Toph stumbles across the bunker, and after rejoining with Aang the three go down, Aang splitting off to find Ozai while the girls go the opposite way and run into Azula.

Aang finds the Ozai, seconds before Zuko, and they fight, Aang nearly wins, but the eclipse ends, and Ozai blasts him, and then shoots lightning at him while he's down, only to have Zuko show up at the last second and redirect the lightning and escape with Aang.

Meanwhile Azula was captured by Katara. (And got the shit beat out of her because face it, Katara is not HALF as nice as Sokka when it comes to these things, and just barely manages to escape even after she gets her bending back -if Katara wouldn't have been distracted by her two main love interests running by Azula would have been toast.- But instead of chasing Azula, who knows where Sokka is, she chases Zuko who's carrying off a barely conscious Aang. Toph follows along behind for shits and giggles.)

MEANWHILE Sokka makes a smooth escape from his prison cell :coughInAzula'sbedroomcough: and flees the palace, only to be recaptured nearly the second he's out the door, and drug back inside.

The group realizes their times up, and heads for the beach, only for the armada to come and wipe out all the submarines. Zuko Meanwhile flies away with Aang in a war balloon, and after saying goodbye to the adults, the kids chase after him on Appa to "Save Aang" Katara feeling torn up for never finding out where Sokka was from little miss tight lips Azula.

Hakoda decides that sitting there waiting to be captured isn't his style, and so he heads back to the palace to find Sokka with Bato and several of the other water tribe warriors, Pipsqueak, and a few Earth Benders.

Ozai meanwhile corners Azula back at the palace, and brands her a traitor of the Fire Nation for allowing the Avatar to get past her, not keeping an eye on Zuko (Cause obviously Azula is capable in being in several places all at once.) and loosing to a 14 year old girl girls (totally ignoring that Azula is also a 14 year old girl.) Only Ozai decides that banishment for traitors is far too lenient a punishment, and decides to just kill her instead. Just then the guards bring Sokka in and tell Ozai about his escape attempt. Ozai decides to kill two birds with one stone and kill them together. Then, just to prove what a loving father he is, he gives Azula one last chance: If She and Sokka can beat him in an Agni Kai, he'll only banish them, rather than kill them.

MEANWHILE Zuko lands at the Western Air Temple and helps the wounded Aang, the two talk, Aang demanding to know why Zuko saved him, and Zuko obligingly explains to him THE WHOLE STORY (including the part about Ozai burning down the Earth Kingdom, which would include by the way SEVERAL Fire Nation Colonies.) And begs Aang to help him stop his father, in return promising to teach him Fire Bending.

Aang agrees reluctantly and the two settle in, to wait for Aang to recover enough to begin his training.

MEANWHILE The Agni Kai commences, Azula barely able to fight due to the MENTAL BREAKDOWN she's going through, Leaving Sokka to do most of the fighting, and, -because he's a gentleman- repeatedly SAVE HER ASS. Sokka is injured and about to be killed, when Hakoda and crew bust in and lay the smack down on Ozai and the guards. They take Sokka, and after Sokka begs them Azula. ("Wait dad, we can't just leave her here. They'll kill her." Sokka said, looking Back at Azula's listless form, where she sat slumped on her hands and knees, staring at the ground with a glassy stare.) And Escapes. Only to find the rest of the resistance captured, and the palace crawling with soldiers. They almost are captured, but Azula gets her act together enough to direct them to the bunker, and then down to a secret Bay, where they find severa small War Balloons, they split up -Sokka getting the once again spacing out Azula into his balloon- and all take off in opposite directions in order to try and escape.

Sokka and Azula's balloon floats off over the Ocean towards the Earth Kingdom

SEVERAL DAYS LATER...

Aang is finally recovered enough to begin his training, only for them to realize Zuko has lost his bending, and to then be attacked by Katara and the others who finally have caught up, and Aang is "rescued" from Zuko, who he then has to "rescue" from Katara, before she turns the ex-prince into an icy pin cushion. Aang and Zuko explain everything again. Katara remains skeptical and threatening. She full out blames Zuko for what happened to Sokka. Zuko in his defense tells her Sokka is alive, Aang prepares to save Zuko again, but instead of killing him, Katara just starts crying in relief. (Aang so instead of Battling Katara, Aang hugs her instead.)

Meanwhile, Sokka and Azula, -both half dead from starvation, and dehydration- crash land in the Earth Kingdom, and Sokka finds himself alone trying to tend to the pampered Princess, whose lost all will to live.

At this point I'd probably End that Fic and Move on to writing the Sequel. IF ANYONE WANTS TO WRITE THIS LEMME KNOW, I'll gladly let you so long as you let me read it! xDD
