Hey everyone, I'm back. So, I managed to make this story early as possible, but it was all worth it. So, I have nothing else to add, so let's see some answered reviews from the viewers:

Von the Stoppable – We'll see. Just maybe.

NIteOwl18 – Thanks. It actually had fun making that chapter.

1049 – I will man, and sorry for thanking so long. But I'll see to it if you can still be reached.

LoudHouseFan88 – First of all, I'm actually surprised for another viewer to make another long review about this. Second to answer your question, yes, I took some inspiration from the movie itself. I actually see the movie as a perfect opportunity for me to use as an inspiration to create this story I made. So, thanks for that question.

A guy with a big imagination – Maybe. I really don't to spoil the surprise. But we'll see what will happen next once the story ends to its final chapter.

PS: This story might have some violent scenes, but I'm sure the scenes I made here aren't that too violent. Depends. Sorry if I wasn't that clear.

Enjoy reading.

"White Raptor… Whoever you are, or how came here. I'll make sure, you're dead to me. Permanently."

Edward was now facing a hard time.

He was out of the mayoral campaign. His dreams of saving the city his way, was now completely ruined. His dream, his effort, his plans, all ruined and thrown to the garbage. Like it was some rejected idea for the world that would change forever.

The Greenville business man was lucky to have the company still running with him. But his main goal to protect Royal Woods was now over. And the only person he would blame for his life as long as he lives, is no other than him:

White Raptor.

Edward opened the drawer of his table, and bring out a stack of files and papers, which has everything he needs to start his mayoral business. All his plans, from the RWPD to the Sentinel Corps' weapon ideas and other projects for the city's needs, were all now made for nothing.

Although, he had a second thought about them.

Inside his lounge, all of his mayoral plans and goals were all placed in the fireplace, now set on fire to keep the now struggling and defeated Edward warm and calm. Although, he doesn't look calm, nor depressed, in the first place. When he placed each sheet in the fire, his face was tensed and stuff them all fast, as if he wanted to see them all burn until nothing is left.

He couldn't calm down. All he could do is feed of his frustration and anger to both the vigilante of Royal Woods, and to the ones who were about to put him into the dark. From the board members, who tried to kick him out, to the ones who kicked him out of the mayoral campaign.

Edward takes a good look at the last sheet he has on his hands. It was the plan to make sure that Royal Woods has a better justice system. A redeemed one. It was a good plan actually, until he was removed.

Edward growled as he angrily crumpled the paper, and yelled as he tossed the ball of paper to the fireplace. He yelled once again, to let it all go, as he watched all his future plans all turn into ashes. It was like he was losing his mind.

"Are you done?" the voice of the Taurus called out. His voice was coming out from the mask. "Are you done and proud that you just get rid of all your plans of being mayor. I even noticed that there were some from your company." Despite being a voice, whatever Edward does, will also reflect to the Taurus. They're both two people in one body and mind.

Edward turned his attention to the mask, with an intimidating glare. "You know I already lost, right?" he reminded. "Why aren't you out of my mind? Can't you see that I just needed to focus on my company. I wanted to live a peaceful life – I already lost my goal."

"I'm afraid I can't do that." Taurus stated. "I can't leave you just yet. You and I, have big plans together. So much big plans together, alright."

Edward's expression shifted to a 'I want to know' one, feeling intrigue about his dilemma. It even got the villain to speak.

"I was planning of another crime. A huge and painful crime, that we can both commit, and will make the people in this pathetic city beg. Beg and beg until they all witness White Raptor's saving their lives." Taurus started to plan his new motive.

"I'm not following." It was all Edward could reply back.

"The point is, we will instruct the young vigilante's mind. We will instruct him about the harsh answers of reality!" he translated. "It might just make him whimper and cry like a little boy, wearing a Halloween costume."

"Are you saying that… we have to kill innocent lives to get him?" Edward asked. Hoping if his answer is right.

"Yes. But I wouldn't use the word 'kill' that much. I was thinking of… suffer. But it's not for them. It's for him. The Raptor may be invincible, but It will make him suffer and suffer slowly, both physically and mentally, so he can learn the truth." Taurus corrected. "What do you think? Interested?"

Edward was hesitant about the inner villain's motives. He doesn't want to become a monster. He just wanted to keep the city safe. It's something that he hates doing. But he needs to answer.

"No."

"What?"

"No. I'm doing it!" Edward denied the plan. "Do you even hear yourself? This idea… it'll just murder everyone this quick!" he reasoned. "Are you this insane?!"

"It'll work, Eddie." The villain's voice reassured. "This plan of ours will make him feel misery and guilt. Both mind and soul."

"You're sick. You're a maniac! A monster!"

"You created me."

"And I made that mistake! I'm already out of the mayoral campaign. I need to focus something else!" Edward retorted. He groaned in an irritated way. "You know what, forget it! I'm not doing it! I'm going to have to find a way to get rid of you. I need to focus in my company first!" he refused. He had a common sense. "I'm sorry, but theirs is no way I'll be part of this!"

"But have you forgotten something, Greenville?" Taurus tried to remind him. "What he did to you? To us?"

"What are you saying?" he demanded.

"This plan of ours is for revenge! You're not even seeing the answer to what I explained from our plan!" the villain yelled. "White Raptor stopped you so you won't kill him. He even got you kicked out in your dreams permanently. And most of all… he even kicked us out of our agreement with him!" he added.

The explanation coming from the villain went into the head of Edward. He realized now what else was ruining his life. He was almost stopped by him when he had the chance to kill him during his first attack. His dreams of being a mayor was now also stopped by him when he stopped him. And to add from that, he was denied from their offer to join together. An agreement that he denied because of his villainous acts.

Edward fell to his knees, panting and breathing uncontrollably as he already realized it now. The cause of his suffering was all to White Raptor. He can't say he ruined his life completely, but he blamed him for all of his goals and dreams getting foiled over and over.

"You're right." He agreed. "He did this to me. He made us, to what we already become. It's his fault." He said in a tone of realization. "He ruined me!"

"Yes. That's it! You already now solved what was been in front of you!" Taurus proudly said.

Edward looks at him slowly, with an intriguing look. "About your plan." he mentioned, crawling to him for answers like a dog. "What will be our plan to stop him! Tell me!"

"We will plan a hostage of any huge number of people in this city." Taurus answered. "A hostage that we will create, which will be harder to stop. It'll make that vigilante of a hero to choose either only one: Stop us! Or the sorry excuse of everyone that will be part in it!"

"Yes…" Edward was now liking the idea.

"It'll make him have a mental note in his mind, that he can't be a hero to this city. He will be nothing but a failure!" he continued. "Our plan will instruct him the matters of failure! Failure that cannot be easily answered with another choice! It'll show him too, the harsh vision of reality."

"And what happens if it doesn't work?" Edward asked. There has to be a drawback to the plan.

"What happens if it doesn't?" the voice repeated. He gave out an answer. "Then, we will kill him!"

It was a villainous plan. A plan that will make White Raptor realize.

WHITE RAPTOR

CHAPTER 11

SHOWDOWN PT. 1

Timeskip to Friday…

The bell rang throughout the entire hallway of the school. It has been a week, and things in the school were still fine as usual. This gives them to let everyone head out of their classrooms to leave the school. Besides, it will be another Friday night for everyone in every school to enjoy. Tonight will be another Friday night to start up their weekend.

"So, are you doing anything this weekend?" Daniel asked the two members of their trio group. Lincoln was hesitant to answer, since he has barely nothing to do, and trying to keep his secret from anyone.

Wendy, on the other hand, was the one who answered first. "Well, I won't be around for the entire week soon. I'm gonna head to two places on that time."

"Oh, yeah? Like what?" Lincoln asked.

"Practicing for the hockey finals in Detroit. And maybe, just maybe, I just might be able to get an early interview for a hero program." Wendy stated her schedule. Which made the two boys surprised.

"Wait. You're going on a hero program after middle school?" Daniel asked. So far, he was the one even more surprised. "You can't be joking, right? You just can't!"

"Relax, Daniel. I didn't say that I'll be transferring into a hero program that easily." Wendy reassured. "I'm just gonna get myself a head start for an interview with some teachers in hero programs. That way, I won't be talking like a rock, or a brick wall when the day comes."

"Hold on, aren't brick walls and rocks the same thing?" The white-haired boy curiously asked.

"Well, not really. And you're just saying that cause you got nothing else to say." Wendy gave off a smug, to which made Lincoln blushed a little.

"Yeah… maybe you're right…" he mumbled in agreement.

Wendy giggled at the boy's little reaction. She found it to be cute for some reason, but she just giggled like it was nothing. Feeling her phone vibrate, Wendy brought it out and read a text message from her hockey team that they're waiting for her.

"Shoot! I'm gonna be late if I don't make a move." Wendy yelped as she rushed her way out of the hallway. "I gotta go, guys. I can't be late for this."

"Good luck, Wends!" Daniel waved off his hand as he chuckled a bit. "She's so gonna be late."

"Huge time, to say the least." Lincoln commented too. Was he kidding about that?

Daniel glanced by the exit doors, and noticed a car that caught his attention. "Great… my ride's here." He grumbled. "Well, I better head off too, Linc. I don't want my old man to get mad again after what happened to his mayor dreams or whatever."

Lincoln asked as he starts to leave. "Wait, is he still, you know, acting nuts?"

"Nuts?" he snickered. "More like spending his time in the company's lab since Sunday." He stated. "God, the old man doesn't even try wanting to spend time with his son. It's like he's obsessed with something." He complained a little. "Look, I gotta go, Linc. See you around."

He starts to leave the hallway of the school. Lincoln called. "Yeah! You too."

With only him left, he realized that the school bus was the last one left to pick up some students left that's still inside the school. Lincoln made a move as he starts walking to head back home before nighttime arrives.

Later, it was 6 PM around the Loud residence. Everyone was basically doing their Friday night activities. Mostly some of the sisters are enjoying a rom-com movie, while the other sisters are having some fun elsewhere in their rooms. Whatever it is, he is enjoying his night after the whole family enjoyed some take out from a Chinese restaurant.

Lincoln, in the other hand, came out of his bedroom, holding a yellow, brown, and black-lined colored toothless beartrap on his left hand. He marched his way to Luan's room, and knocked rapidly at the door.

Luan answered, as she noticed the object from her little brother's hand. She looked at him sheepishly. "Oh! I guess you found my elect-trap. I was actually wondering where it was, but I guess we both gnaw now." She giggled at her own joke.

"Very funny." He groaned as he handed her the 'elect-trap' she was looking for. Then, he began to ask. "So, any reason why was your gadgets in my room? I'm not mad, although, I'm a bit curious about them."

"Well, in case if you don't know, I need to practice how to use all my skills and toys to good works for the upcoming finals before summer starts." The comedienne hero-in-training explained. "I need to practice really good if I ever wanted to go in a hero academy for college."

"And how are they gonna tell you're doing a job well done?" Lincoln asked. A good question to be exact. How can the hero school she's studying at tell if she's doing well?

Luan gave him the answer. She brought out a black device that has a green and red light on it. "This weird machine will tell if I'm doing part. If it lands on red, then I'm out of the picture. My dream of being a hero and a comedian won't be a good start for me." She stated.

"Well, I'm sure you can do well." Lincoln reassured. "I mean, Lori, Leni, and Luna practically did their part, and I'm sure you'll be the next one to pass the task. We all got your back. Everyone here supports each other."

Luan smiled and chuckled a bit at his speech, or whatever that was that made her felt inspired. "You really know how to make us keep going. Even if you're considered powerless, or a skill-less kid."

"Pssh! Who needs powers, when you got the power of charisma and courage by your side?" Lincoln waved off as he headed out from the room. Luan smiled at what he said. Despite not being cut out to be a hero, both powers or skills, he has charisma as his only power.

"Charisma and courage, huh? I'll take that as a mental note." She said to herself.

As Lincoln proceeds to head back to his room, he heard his ringtone go off as he brought out his phone to see who's calling him. Hopefully, it's not Clyde to talk about his respect for the vigilante of Royal Woods, or Rusty to ask him some 'girl advice' to get a date.

His expression shifted to a confused one. It was an unknown caller. Who would an unknown caller call him? But more importantly, how did the called got his number?

Lincoln hesitated to answer the call, but he did so anyways, hoping it's not something that bad. "Hello?"

"Tell me, White Raptor. Are you waiting for the time that you'll be in the bottom of extinction?" the voice of Black Taurus asked menacingly. It made Lincoln freeze like a rock. But right now, he was wondering how did he managed to call him.

"Who is this?" he demanded in a serious tone.

"Why don't we talk together in private. I'm sure anyone who hears this will think you're messing with a villain, or perhaps someone you don't know." Taurus said.

Lincoln made sure that no one was there to know if he is talking to someone on the phone. Not even his sisters, or his parents. He was lucky that the coast is clear. He rushed to his bedroom, and closed the door.

Lincoln talked back to the voice. "What do you want."

"Oh, it's not that much of a surprise, or a gift for you." Taurus explained. "My point is, it's nothing. Nothing to surprise you. Yet…"

"Then why did you call me! What are you planning this time!" he was now impatient. He didn't yell, but he was now running out of patience.

"Why don't you meet me at the city. A news broadcast from a chopper will help you find out where I am. Also… don't be late…"

Taurus hung up.

The white-haired boy didn't waste no time to act now, and to see what was the villain planning this time of night.

in the evening city of Royal Woods, a group of police cars and members of the RWPD are all surrounding at a large, six story building called SpeedTech, a vehicle parts company that's known for making parts for vehicles alike.

In the streets of downtown, and to where the incident is being seen, the citizens were worried and curious about the situation being dealt with. News reporters are also present in the crime scene, despite the police's demands to not enter the building.

Elsewhere, Lincoln, in his White Raptor attire, came into the scene after spotting and having his attention to the sirens and numerous RWPD troops surrounding the building. Lincoln managed to not get seen by the public, as he stands and hides behind one of the rooftops buildings which are about three miles away from said building.

"Hudson, I'm at the scene." Lincoln said to his communicator. "Looks like there's a lot of police cars rallying up the SpeedTech building in downtown. It would be best if you tell me what's going in there."

"Alright, kid. Let me take a good look from some reports." Hudson, who's' still in the Black Bunker like usual, started to search some answers from the computer about the recent incident. His eyes gaze and shifted his expression to a smirk as he found what it is.

"Ha! You will never believe this." Hudson said, as he found the recent incident.

"There are about twenty-six people being kept as hostage in that SpeedTech building, with a bomb was set in the said building. They're also tied and put altogether in one room where you'll find them easily, so no biggie." Hudson explained.

"And the bomb?" Lincoln asked.

The bomb's tide in mid-air. It looks like it needs someone who can easily shoot it down before the countdown finishes." Hudson explained. "Although, since your batons have an electric charge in them, then you can easily shut it down. It's that simple."

"Then that's all I need to hear." Lincoln said as he swinged himself to the scene.

After entering the building without getting detected by swinging inside in an open window, Lincoln immediately hurried as he tries to find the hostages. He observed a few dead bodies along the way. One of them were the employees, and some are the company's security.

"I wonder, what kind of sick man would kill everyone in a building like this." Lincoln asked himself. He felt concerned about how they died. "But whoever they are, they're really are gonna regret it."

Lincoln began his search for the hostages. He didn't waste no time as he opened the first door he sees, only to find it empty. As each door was opened, he found no one, and no one. As if he was in a puzzle full of games.

"Damnit. Where are they?" Lincoln cursed to himself. He was worried of what will happen to them next. But he is more worried about the hostage idea. Why would they do this? He just can't even find the answer to it.

Suddenly, he almost heard someone calling for help in another room. It also seems that the person's whimpering won't stop. Lincoln listened carefully, and rushed to an open elevator door, which is being covered in half, as he observed it. There, he noticed that a few people are really put as hostages, including Daniel, Wendy, and Det. Morris. They were all placed inside. Not even tied all up. They were just trapped inside.

"Oh my, God! White Raptor!" Daniel spoke out loud, which might have got everyone's attention. "White Raptor came! Hey! You're gonna save us, right?"

"Uh… yeah. I am." Lincoln hesitated to talk, so he shifted his tone to a bit deeper one to not make sound similar to his normal tone to not let his best friend know. "I'm here to save you. That's the whole reason why I came."

He tried to help them as he knelt down and tried to rescue one, but the elevator room suddenly moved as it was slowly brought down, due to how many people are inside. It panicked most of the hostages.

"Okay, uh, can some explain to me what just happened?" Lincoln asked, who wants to know how did they got all put. "How did they put all of you in an elevator room and made all of you hostages?"

"That's not the issue that you should be dealing with now, vigilante." Morris coldly replied. That wasn't even an answer. "Shouldn't you be dealing with the real issue at hand? I swear, if all of us get killed, you're in a lot of trouble!"

Wendy looked annoyed by this. "What he meant is that some flying guy in a jetpack captured us and made us into hostages. He said that he was waiting for you to arrive. I don't know how he found us, but he just did it anyways."

"He kept us in this damn elevator! He even destroyed the system from letting us escape, but we still manage to be alive for once." One hostage said. "As long as we don't keep moving that much, we'll be fine."

Daniel then spoke. "He even said that this whole thing is all set up for you."

"Set for me? Why would someone…" Lincoln was cut off as he heard a jetpack roared in the air. He quickly turned to his left, only to meet a flying kick that send him to a wall, which didn't knock him out, but made his injured. Everyone yelled at what they saw.

"Ow… that really… hurt." Lincoln groaned, he managed to get up. He turned to his left as he heard the same jetpack getting closer. As he prepared himself for combat, he realized that the person who kicked him was actually no other than:

"Taurus." Lincoln muttered to himself. Black Taurus returned to the city once again. For what?

"White Raptor. This is the reason why heroes are fools. They only came into the rescue to get attention from everyone. And to get all the fame and glory, and the respect!" he explained as he kept going. "You see, this building has a bomb that I planted, and made, myself for you to destroy, and I have here the hostages that I captured for you to save before they all fall to their deaths from impact. The bomb also was infused with something that will destroy both the building and the people inside it."

The villain pressed the device from his hands as the bomb, tied in mid-air, began to have its wires all removed as it landed to the ground, planting itself so it can be prepared for explosion.

Lincoln observed this as he felt nervous. He never knew that the villain that he met once was about to something drastic. A drastic and lunatic choice that will test him for what he is now.

"Why do this?!" the vigilante asked furiously. He was almost lost for words.

"To test you. To test and see if you can easily save one bad day. It's either stopped me and the bomb, or save the citizens that will suffer and meet their end!" Taurus said as he charged his sword, and emitted a warning shot in the shaft, which made the people shake in fear. He still has the device on his hands.

"Don't do it, Taurus! This doesn't have to be this way!" The vigilante pleaded.

"We are of what we choose to be. Now… choose your decision!" the villain yelled.

Altogether, the Taurus emitted another energy slice which made the elevator room began to go down to crush the hostages inside, and pressing the device on his hands, as the bomb itself began to countdown for about five minutes.

The Taurus flew away in the scene. White Raptor immediately rushed to save the citizens first. He didn't know that he has five minutes to save them and disarm the bomb simultaneously. The young vigilante needed to multi-task his rescue plan. One way or another.

White Raptor immediately grappled the ceiling of the elevator room with it's hooks piercing inside it. With that, he used all of his force and strength to pull the elevator from landing to the ground in a dangerous and rapidly impact. The hostages were safe… for now.

White Raptor realized that he couldn't hold in much longer. He needed to alert them to get off. "Hey. People inside the elevator! Get out of there now!" he said as he struggled to keep holding the elevator room. He almost loose his grip, which made the room shake. "Hurry!"

Everyone inside didn't protest, as they all began to leave, one by one. The Taurus witnessed this as he realized that the bomb is only about four minutes to countdown. The Taurus decided to play dirty. He began to shoot at White Raptor's position, so he can let go.

The vigilante screamed. Not because of the destructive energy that he was receiving, but because he couldn't hold on to the elevator that long. He needed them to hurry. But he needs to keep holding it for them.

Eventually, all the hostages managed to get out from the elevator in time. "We're out! Thank you!" Daniel yelled as he thanked. The Boom Sticks' grappling hooks snapped, as the elevator finally let go from its struggling hold, which made it land to the ground.

White Raptor jumped in a stance as he shot the Taurus with a lucky shot from his revolver mode. The Taurus landed at another floor after loosing control from hovering the air. White Raptor immediately both air-dived and grappled safely on his way to the ground to disarm the bomb.

Unfortunately, he was tackled in mid-air by the Taurus. The two costumed enemies landed on another floor. Lincoln tries to get back to his feet, but he was grabbed from behind by Taurus, who tossed at the other side of the floor.

"To think you're going to save the day." Taurus scoffed. He charged up again his sword, as he holds it in to take him out. "Once I'm through with you, people will only remember you for being a failure to this city!"

"Not quite, really." Lincoln mumbled to himself. He quickly shot the Taurus with an electric shot with his Boom Stick. Once again, luck was with him, and it that wasn't his power. Once the villain was in a daze by the power electric impact, White Raptor immediately delivered a kick to put him on a daze. Classic.

White Raptor immediately head for the bomb without any more distractions. He observed that the timer is about to end in a minute. Lincoln quickly searched for any openings or revealing compartment of the bomb. But somehow, he didn't find any. And he is wasting time.

"Hudson, I need your help." Lincoln rambled to his communicator. "I can't find an opening hatch on this bomb. Got any hints? Maybe something you know during your older missions."

"Try opening the screen timer. Maybe there could be a core or something of what's making that thing countdown." Hudson instructed. "Once you opened it, try lodging both of your batons in it, to make it stop."

Lincoln struggled to pull the screen timer with all his force, since it's made to withstand any damage, but not really. Once removed, the vigilante managed to see the interior of the bomb, it has a lot of wires and some other parts stored inside.

"Okay, here goes nothing." Lincoln hoped. He charged up both of his batons as he didn't hesitate to lodge both of his electric-charged weapons inside the bomb's interior. Electricity and short-circuiting effects began to invade the bomb. With that being said, the bomb's timer from two seconds, became a black shallow screen instead.

The bomb was deactivated. It was really was easy after all.

Just like that, another evil scheme foiled once again. Just like always, since it's for the greater good.

Lincoln left the building afterwards so he can go home and enjoy his Friday night. As the vigilante stepped foot outside, everyone began to cheer for his heroic deed. The hostages, including Daniel and Wendy, cheered along too. A few officers began to look at him disappointment as one beardy officer started to walked up to him, to arrest him.

A young officer, Richards, stopped him from interfering. "Sawyer, what are you doing? You didn't even do anything at all."

"I'm arresting that vigilante. It's what the force said. Arrest anyone who is a vigilante." Sawyer replied. "Besides, he'll get a free room in the cellar for free of charge."

"C'mon, Sawyer. Show some respect, will ya?" Richards said. "Besides, that guy is okay in my book. I don't have to tell him that in his face, but he is doing a job well done for this city."

Sawyer decided to put away his handcuffs, and sighed in annoyance. "I hope the captain won't demote you for this."

With a final wave, or salute to end his heroic deed, White Raptor began to grapple his way out of the crowd, so they can all rest peacefully and calmly for tonight has to offer them. Again, another schemed foiled. No complaints, no excuses to ask why, just doing what's right for the greater –

FWOOOOOOOOSH!

White Raptor was suddenly grabbed by Taurus. How did he regain consciousness after that blow? How did he evade the cops! How did he entered so quick and snatched White Raptor out of nowhere?

Whatever kind of way he came in like that, Taurus just snatched the Raptor, and flew off wherever he and the vigilante are going to go. The crowd who saw this were terrified that the vigilante was take away, along with the officers as well.

The Taurus and the captured vigilante are now far away from the crowd. The two began to fight each other again in the air, mostly Lincoln trying to stop him from putting wherever they're going to end up. The Taurus began to be irritated by the annoying strategy of the vigilante, so he decided to toss him straight to a construction site.

Lincoln began screaming as he is about to get hit by one of the beams of the construction site. He quickly grappled a beam to avoid the impact, but he was immediately hit by a beam after doing so. He fell on one beam that almost hurt him, and on another that damaged the left side of his head. And then, completely landing straight to the ground.

Lincoln groaned in pain afterwards. As he got up on his feet, he encountered Taurus once again when he landed on the ground, armed and ready to face the vigilante away from the public eye. Lincoln wasn't able to arm himself in combat after what happened to him earlier.

"I gave you a choice, hero. It was only the one thing that could change your mind. But all you do…" both his weapons began charge with his powers. "is stop and interfere. Like the foolish hero you are!" he spat his own words at the vigilante.

Lincoln jumped in as he swinged his baton to the villain, but the latter quickly dodged it as Taurus began to emit three energy slices at the vigilante. White Raptor was able to dodge them and countered Taurus' sword as he blocked it with his Boom Sticks. Lincoln was struggling to keep his guard up, while the Taurus' uses his strength to push his blade.

"Look at us! We are fighting! Fighting like wild animals who wanted to gain the upper hand! We're fighting in an endless and nonsense battle that will either get us killed!" Taurus explained, trying to give Lincoln an answer. "We could've change it! You and me, working together! But all you've done is spit on our faces like the dirt we are!"

Ignoring his explanation, Lincoln managed to pushed the villain away with all of his force. He grappled onto another beam to avoid him. Once he reached the high ground, his Boom Stick's transformed into its revolver mode to get a clear shot. Luckily, he did, and it only went straight to his left arm, dropping his gun.

Taurus sliced the air with another energy beam from his sword, but Lincoln managed to dodged it in time as he jumped in panic to ground, only to get himself hurt again. Lincoln tried to get back into his feet, but groaned in pain after his leg broke during his fall.

Taurus glanced to his left, and noticed the poor vigilante in pain. Knowing that he can use this for his advantage, the mad villain gripped his sword as he channeled it with another dose of energized-fire, and positioning himself in stance.

"Flashfire: Demolishing Burst!"

He yelled those words right out of his mouth. As if it seems to be a move that he made by his own. Taurus strike his sword to the ground with another energy slice, but this time, the dark red energy beam became larger than ever. It looked so devastating, that it might just kill anyone standing there who's just watching it.

Lincoln jolted his head to see the dark energy getting closer as he widened his eyes. The large dark energy beam already reached him. The vigilante was already caught by the destructive power that was launched at him, which also destroyed the construction site with one attack.

Once the smoke cleared due to the damage, the vigilante gasped in shock. He wasn't killed when that large energy came to him. He was just shocked. He just stood there, stuttering with his own breath, when the immense power was delivered. As if a gorilla delivered a straight, forward punch that went through him, as if it was just nothing.

He dropped his weapons to the ground first. Followed by felling to the ground in pain as he felt defeated. He also felt like he was almost unconscious. He tried to get up, but all the force from the villain's powers was powerful enough to make him weak. It's useless.

The villain grabbed his shotgun, and placed back the sword inside when its in its sheath form. Taurus just looked at the vigilante with a cold stare. Despite his eyes being concealed with his mask, he looked at him emotionlessly as he felt pity for the vigilante to fight with all of his strength to stop him.

"It's kind of ironic, don't you think?" Taurus spoke to the defeated vigilante. He walked slowly on his way. "I tried to convince you to join by my side. And you refused. But when you try to stop me, I stopped you first. Overpowered you!" he coldly laughed, as he angrily kicked him on his right side. "You're pathetic!"

Lincoln got up quickly so he can stop him, but Taurus delivered a powerful punch to the face, blinding him. A second punch was launched straight to his face once again, sending him to ground. The vigilante tried to crawl his way to avoid him, but was grabbed, only to be tossed far away from him.

The vigilante tirelessly got up as he grabbed his Boom Sticks, which was next to him when he was tossed away by the villain. The vigilante tried to attack him back with his pair of batons, but the villain dodged them each quickly. Taurus grabbed his right arm to block his attack, and delivered a punch to face, which almost knocked out Lincoln, and making him fell to the ground once more.

The vigilante was feeling weaker and weaker. He wanted to stop. He wanted to stop him, but he can't. He lost his communicator when he landed in the construction site. He was about to get killed by Taurus if he keeps getting up.

"You had enough, hero?" Taurus mocked the weakened White Raptor.

"Why…" Lincoln panted tiredly. "Why… do you hate heroes so bad… What do you have against heroes… that made you into a villain?!" he yelled. He was met with a foot kicking him to the face.

"I think you already why: They're fakes. They're liars." Taurus explained as he repeated what he told him during his last encounters. "They only wanted to attention around the world because they're 'protecting' them." He coldly said. "But in my eyes, they're arrogant, selfish, and they're obsessed of their powers and skills! They tainted this world with nothing but a false message and making themselves terrible role models to younger people!"

"That's not… what they are!" Lincoln denies his explanation. "They risked their lives over and over to save millions! That's what it should matter. They only tried their best, and you're seeing them as if they're the villains! Why can't you accept that this city has a hero? A hero that saves everyone for the greater good!"

It was silent. Taurus just reflect back to what the vigilante said with his weakened soul.
Taurus just scoffed at his little explanation and reasoning. He takes a deep breath after, and just looks at him like trash.

"I, too, wanted to become a hero." The Taurus simply said. It might have given an answer to the vigilante.

"What?" Lincoln asked confusingly. He wanted to know more.

"You see, when I was just about your age, I admire heroes. I admire them so much." He sadly smiled at the images of heroes being reflected to his head. "They were the inspiration to my life. They inspired me that I can be hero too. Just like them. I swore off an oath that I'll protect the world when I become one."

His smiled shifted to a frown, another memory reflected back to his mind. "But when I realized that heroes didn't feel guilty about their not saving others and focused on what they desire most, the public still trusts them. They were still worshipped as do-gooders. I felt like I was the only one blind by the experience. I… just hated them."

He continued. "And I even hated two people as well: my parents. My own parents will also see them as fakes, liabilities, a waste of time, energy, and space that surrounded the entire world itself ever since they existed in the first place."

He lowered his tone more and more, as if he is mad at them. "My parents would abuse me, take their hatred, and look at me as a disappointment all because I have an admiration for heroes. But eventually, it all ended when they died in a car accident. An accident that a hero could've prevented, but it never came true."

He gritted his teeth and gripped his blade hard in anger. "That's why heroes shouldn't exist! They only bring nothing but a terrible future, a bright path to the world we all live in. I don't care how heroic and brave they are. All I want is every single hero dead." He pointed his sword at him. "Like you!"

Lincoln grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at the villain's masked face. He tirelessly got up quick as he managed to throw front jab, and a hook jab to blind him for the meantime. With that being done, Lincoln rushed to grab his weapons, charged at him, and swing his batons at the villain to knock him up.

Unfortunately, the villain quickly avoided it, sliced the young vigilante's right arm, stunning him. Lincoln groaned in pain from the slice he received, which left a cut on it. The two enemies clashed their weapons at each other, without losing focus with an angered breath that let out from their breaths.

"Just give it up, boy! You're have no chance to stop me!" Taurus lectured. "If you value your life more, then stop!"

"I'll never stop!" Lincoln rebelled with his words. "I'll stop you, if it means if I have to die. Like a real hero would!"

Taurus draw out his sheath as it transformed into its gun mode quickly. He fired multiple dark energy-fire shots at the vigilante. The vigilante was stunned when he was shot with his powers. Not giving up, Lincoln raised his baton in its revolver mode as he prepared to stun him back. Despite his vision almost blacking out.

"You're really are fool." The villain muttered to himself. He really wasn't seeing the consequences.

Taurus quickly rushed to the young vigilante, and somehow avoided his missed shots. With that, Taurus' attempted attack was blocked by the vigilante's parry with what's left of his strength. Taurus kicked him on the stomach, and sliced his right leg, and stabbed his left leg last.

"GAAAHHH!" Lincoln yelled in agony by the stab from his sword. It looked painful. It even felt painful.

He was elbowed to the eyes, and kicked straight to the stomach. The vigilante was trying to get up once again, but Taurus charged up his sword again to launch another energy slice at the vigilante to finish him off.

"Ambushed Hellfire!"

He made a horizontal air slice, which emitted a fast-launching energy slice that immediately went straight to the vigilante's body. The second move of Taurus made Lincoln easily weak once again. His suit was now almost damage from the slices and shots that Taurus gave him, ant its also covered in burnt spots too.

Lincoln wanted to give up, he just doesn't want to make him get away again. His body wanted to make him stop fighting since he really went through a lot, but he refused too. He's not done yet. Although, the young boy's vision started to completely black out as he dropped his Boom Sticks from his hands, and fell face to the ground in defeat.

This time, the Black Taurus was victorious. White Raptor was defeated for the first time. The villain won, and the hero lost.

And battle that ended, which made the hero's strength gave up immediately, that he couldn't no longer continue to stop him.

Taurus stared at his weakened and defeated body once again as he put back his sword into the sheath once again to end his match. He was relieved that the vigilante was defeated. He was satisfied that Royal Woods' hero is now gone for good.

The villain chuckled in relief. "That's it. Die. Die there like the hero you are. You really are a fool to keep trying." He sneered.

Taurus' jetpack started to ignite as he flew off the scene, leaving the critically injured White Raptor to die and rot in the city.

A hero that tried so hard to stop a villain terrorizing his home, now left him to die on the ground.

Another cliffhanger to see if our hero will be alive or die and rot to the ground after his failed attempt to stop Taurus once again. I don't what else to say, but if this was a dark turn to read. My answer would be yes, cause well… he tried, and the villain almost killed him.

Anyway, since this is part one, based from the title, then I'm gonna answer you all that this is the final battle. But it's more like a pre-final battle. That's all I can say and answer to you guys. Remember to please leave a review, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
