Hello, readers. Here it is. Second part of the final chapter. As you can see, the part 1 from the previous chapter was just a warm up for the next and final battle. And this will serve as the final battle between our hero, White Raptor, and the Black Taurus.
So, here are the answered reviews:
Geo Soul – No. It's best if you read this chapter to see what happens in the end.
Von the Unstoppable – Well… if only you are willingly to read one. And I don't anything about a crossover since it's not my style for story writing yet.
Guest (4) – I don't even know who are you going to convince? Me or the readers who's been reading chapter each chapter. This is inspired, not copied. Besides, some of the scenes are not really copied and exactly the same. I'm an aspiring writer. Think before you say something.
NiteOwl18 – Well, that's how it happens. It was fight between good and evil, but this chapter will determine on what will be the end of the whole origin story arc.
Oh yeah, the last thing I wanna add, in case if you were confused about the timeline in this story or the month, it's basically around March, so yeah, Lincoln started seventh grade around seven months ago. And yes, this is an Origin Story arc.
Anyway, enjoy the last chapter.
"Father, may I ask a question?"
"Go ahead. Make sure it's not that stupid, like the other questions you asked before."
Many years ago, when heroes existed ever since, in the Greenville mansion located in San Francisco, a teenage Edward was asking his father a question. He was standing in front of him, while he is sitting on his recliner, reading a newspaper and drinking champagne.
"What is it now, Edward?" His father asked annoyingly. "I'm surprised that you will be just wasting my time like it's nothing."
"Sorry, father, but I was just wondering… that if I can be…" Edward hesitated his own words. "Well… you know… a hero?"
With that, his father snapped in front of the teenage Edward.
"I knew you would ask such a redundant question to your own father!" He rose from his seat with an intimidating glare, that made Edward frown. He knew that this would happen. "Why are you always wanting to achieve this kind of dream, Edward! This has been going for so long, you haven't stopped talking about it!"
"It's because I wanted to be one, father." Edward reasoned. "I wanted to be a hero to save a lot. I wanted everyone to look at me as their guardian, that will protect them from evil! I really wanted to do some good for the world."
"Well, to me boy, you're a delusional moron!" Edward's father insulted. "Our family has two sides, some of them are 'heroes' as we speak. They're currently either punching a monster, or some criminal mastermind right now. While us, in this side, are making sure that our company will be providing the future of this world to get rid of heroes for good."
"But… why would you do that?" Edward asked. He looked disappointed. "Why would you get rid of heroes?"
"Because boy, they are frauds! Liars! Arrogant people! They don't save lives, they wanted fame and fortune!" the father of Edward boomed his voice as he explained to his son. "If they want to be heroes, why not do it for the world. Why not protect the citizens! Why not let them do what a real hero must do!"
"What… what are you saying, father?"
"I'm saying that being a hero isn't cut out for you, boy! If you wanted to not be one, then good, you must have realized it now. But if you wish to continue this kind of act, then mark my words… I will never call you a son of mine, ever again!"
Edward felt depressed about what his father told him. He just stood there like he doesn't have a choice. His dream was almost this shattered, slowly and slowly, as he will remember this day until he grows up to be like his own father.
In the present, a battle between the vigilante White Raptor and the mysterious villain Black Taurus went in a terrible twist of a battle between good and evil.
The Taurus managed to overpower the young vigilante. A battle that ended, which made the hero's strength gave up immediately, that he could no longer continue to stop him. The villain was satisfied that he finally defeated the hero.
For what you might ask? Revenge.
First, he was denied an offer to join him by his side, which the vigilante quickly refused. Next, he committed a crime by trying to bomb a few hostages he captured, to test him if he is really cut out for being a vigilante. And the results were positive, which saved everyone.
Now, he captured him, fought him, and mercilessly defeated him to die on the dirt like a dead animal who was run over by some car.
For him. It was worth it.
The villain chuckled in relief. "That's it. Die. Die there like the hero you are. You really are a fool to keep trying." He sneered.
Taurus' jetpack started to ignite as he flew off the scene, leaving the critically injured White Raptor to die and rot in the city.
A hero that tried so hard to stop a villain terrorizing his home now left him to die on the ground.
The Taurus reached back to his headquarters: the empty room of the laboratory located at the Sentinel Corps Tower. Luckily, no one was inside the building. Not even the employees nor his assistant were inside to witness the true identity of Edward.
Edward removed the mask. He sighed in satisfaction. "Now that… was really worth it this time."
He walked to a large door and placed his hand on a fingerprint scanner to gain access. Once he does so, the doors automatically opened as he entered a private room inside the laboratory. Inside was a set of other weapons that the Taurus made all by himself. Swords, guns, and even gadgets that he could've used to kill White Raptor.
But all he used was his two weapons: a sheath-forming shotgun, and a sword. And it was all that he needs to use to fight and kill the vigilante that made his life a living hell.
"Computer, is the bomb finished for launch?" Edward asked the computer.
"Yes, sir. Missile bomb is now ready for launch." A female voice, which came from the computer responded. "But it will be ready for launch. As long as the satellite won't be blocked or destroyed, it will properly be able to prepare its launch in no time."
"Good." Edward simply said. His tone was like he is satisfied with his new plan.
Beneath in another place far from the company, and the Greenville mansion, a missile is being fixed under the controls of the company, the computer, and the Edward himself had made. The missile was as large as a nuclear bomb. A bomb like that could destroy the city. Inside the hidden place is like a factory, except it had some robotic engineers to create the missile.
While the bomb was almost done for launch, a large container covered in dark-red liquid was stored inside gently into the bomb's interior. The energy fuel for the bomb was basically known other than "TS-1".
The same serum that Edward injected for testing. The same serum which was now used for the bomb. But the only question is, for what?
"Once the bomb is ready, I can use it to bomb the entire city with a complete blast radius," Edward explained to himself. "With that being said, that fool of a vigilante won't be able to stop me. Not even a single hero or vigilante will ever foil my plan!" he proudly said to himself.
Edward then walked to the other side of the lab. He walked past one of the original and prototype works that he made right before the military itself wanted them to make weapons for the whole army. But now, they were just all rejects and displays of his attempted works for 'helping the world'.
He pressed some numbers of a dial, and a small container was opened to show, only to reveal another dose of the TS-1 serum. Edward grabbed it and placed it into a gun-like injection. He observed it before doing anything else to the serum. It only tells that the serum inside the container might be the last one.
"Do you think we should finish it all? It's probably the last one that you ever made." the voice of the Taurus asked inside the head of Edward. "Don't make me sound like a jerk or one of your useless employees, but would it be great if we take it all? To feel a lot more powerful for tonight."
Edward was a bit convinced by the Taurus' idea to finish the last dose. But he reflected back. "Yeah. I would like that idea. But I rather not." He smiled as he gave a last look to the serum, and closed it. "Besides, we already know what he wanted. We have a bomb, and we have powers that we can oppress with." He said as he grabbed the serum.
He smirked. His smirk was like a mad man, lurking beneath the sky, as he is prepared to destroy anyone or anything on his path.
"I feel like I wanna slice the whole world in half." He joked to himself. But he sounded serious.
"I like your style." The voice agreed.
"Let's give this city… a good bang."
A black vision was now covered with a bright light as the person's eyes begin slowly opening. The person got up from his sleeping position and realized that the person was in a room that he is familiar with.
"Ugh…" the person groans in pain. His tone was male. He realized that his Boom Sticks were placed on another table. "Where am I? What happened? Who brought me back?"
It was Lincoln. He was back brought back to the Black Bunker to safety. But how?
"I did," Hudson spoke, getting the attention of the white-haired boy. "How are you doing, kid? You've been through a lot."
"What happened?" he asked, still confused that he doesn't remember what happened. "How did you…"
"I was trying to contact you, kid," Hudson answered. "I tried to reach your signal, but I assumed that you were either killed, or you were taken away by someone who can fly. So, I assumed both. By the time I got ready to find you, and I noticed your limped body at the construction site. You're all covered in burnt marks and open cuts."
The white-haired boy widened his eyes. "Taurus…" he guessed.
"Bingo! At least you got that right." Hudson remarked. He answered right. "I manage to get you back before the police arrive at the scene. While you were still knocked out, I manage to heal you up. What really shocked me is that your scars and burnt marks are gone before I had the chance to check on you."
Lincoln was confused about that last part. But he ignored his thoughts as he observed the entire room being empty like usual. What's left is the table that he is on and the large computer.
"How long was I out?" Lincoln asked. "And why did your hideout feels… emptier?"
"You were out for five hours," Hudson answered. Lincoln was in shock. That's how long he was out? Luckily, he told his parents that he will be staying over at Wendy's place for a movie.
"What happened five hours ago?"
"You're not even gonna believe it, once you see it," Hudson said as he opened the computer to show Lincoln what he was asking. The boy's eyes widened in shock and confusion rolled into one, as he noticed the latest news.
WHITE RAPTOR
CHAPTER 12
SHOWDOWN (PT. 2)
"…. I'm reporting back live to the Station with twisting news. I and the news chopper found what seems to be six missile-shaped bombs all placed and planted all around the Old City Hall of Royal Woods. RWPD dispatch has been investigating this strange incident two hours ago, but there wasn't even a single answer. All that happens is that they just came from the sky out of nowhere. But some reports were given, stating that the person who is capable of doing this is no other than the Black Taurus, where he also tried to bomb the SpeedTech company building downtown five hours ago…"
At the Loud residence, the Loud family is also watching the news as they were shocked to see what their eyes have spotted. They were also scared of what will happen to those bombs if they all detonate together.
"Uh, Lisa..." Lynn stammered. "Maybe you can use your brain powers or whatever to know what kind of bombs they are."
"I-I don't even have an answer for that," Lisa responded as she still observed the bombs. "By all the bombs being made by the military government, I have no answer nor solution to say what said bombs will give an effect once detonated altogether."
"But there has to be a way, right?" Lola hoped. "There must be a way to stop it."
"But more importantly, who's gonna stop the Taurus!" Lana glared as she argued back. "It's pretty obvious that the most important thing here is that villain! The bomb can wait, as long it doesn't detonate right now."
Lily, on the other hand, whimpered at what she saw on the TV and hugged Bun-Bun to comfort her. She was scared that those bombs will kill everyone in the city, or what else it'll do once they were all set to explode. All she could hope is for White Raptor to save the night.
Luan noticed Lily's faint sniffling as she turned her attention to her. "Lily?" she did nothing but comforted her baby sister instead. "Don't be scared, okay? It's gonna be alright."
"Luan?" Lily asked, which got Luan's attention. "Will White Raptor stop it? Will he save the day?"
A question that Luan, nor the family, can't answer.
Across Royal Woods, a few people are also witnessing this too as they all ponder the question of either White Raptor will deal with it. Or let the RWPD do it by themselves. Whatever their answer or wild guesses will be, they're just hoping that it will be stopped.
At a diner, Wendy and Daniel are also watching the news. Daniel was the one that paused on his seat like a rock. Wendy, like some of the citizens and maybe Lily, is afraid of what will happen next.
Six bombs were all planted al mysteriously around the city hall of Royal Woods. The RWPD tried to solve the issue but to no avail. The bombs being planted were only theorized that the Black Taurus was responsible for this. This made the city even more panicked they fear what will happen if the bombs are all set to fuse together.
All these questions should be answered. It's something that Lincoln was wondering about.
"So, any reactions from you, kid?" Hudson asked. What kind of question is that? "Sorry, dumb question. I meant to say is if you got any ideas? Cause I don't know how to stop this kind of situation."
Lincoln jumped out from the bed, looking panicked. "I got an idea alright: I'm stopping him!" the white-haired boy stated. "If he tries to nuke the entire city those bombs, then I'll have to go in there and stop it myself!" he grabbed all his gear as he prepared to leave, only for the doors to automatically be closed shut. "Hey! What the – What are you doing? Open the door!"
"Clearly you really don't have any idea what you're doing, kid." Hudson, who shut the doors, informed. "This Taurus guy planted like six missile-like bombs around the city, which will destroy the entire place in one wasteland. And here you are, completely bruised up, trying to get out there and stop the guy that you tried to stop twice. Are you really this suicidal?"
"It's not being suicidal. It's doing the right thing." Lincoln informed back. Spoken like a real hero. "I can't let a bull-themed supervillain that's gonna bomb the entire city get away with it. Somebody has to stop it, that's me. I'm the only vigilante in this city. It's already obvious."
"Instead of 'you', I rather go by 'me' instead." Hudson corrected. "That villain planned this for a reason, and I don't know what or why, but whatever it is, I'm going to investigate it, and stop it on my own." he waved his arm in denial as he began to gear up to head to the Old City Hall. "I'm not risking a kid like you getting killed."
"Let me just say that you trained from the start when I came into this place." Lincoln reminded. "You gave me two choices: You'll train me if I meet you, or just don't. I chose the first option, and I was trained long enough to become a vigilante. A protector to this city! How can't you let me go out there!" he yelled as he demanded an answer.
Hudson just stood there. He wasn't sure what to answer him. Besides, he does have a point. He trained him to become the one thing that Lincoln wanted to be: A hero. But a vigilante that protects this city.
"Answer me, Hudson! Why won't you let me do this!" Lincoln continued to get an answer. "Why won't you let me do this on my own! I need to know. Right now."
"Damnit, kid! I already told you that…" Hudson takes a deep breath from his temper before saying anything else. "Look, its… very complicated. You wouldn't even understand the whole story about it."
"What are you talking about?" Lincoln asked.
"Look, I used to join a group once. I trained in that group right before the start of everything. And I don't mean that I'm immortal." Hudson explained shortly. "This group of mine was training for many years until we're ready to go out and protect everyone without being seen in the public. It's like a forbidden rule or something we need to follow."
He continued as he is almost done getting prepared. "As much as possible, kid. We don't really deal with villain threats. Not even a single one. That is if they're that serious. Something serious that a hero can't deal with. The only crimes we deal with are if there's a mafia spreading or some biological weapon that the government can't handle. Whatever the case is, we only deal with those types of things happening around the world. It's also something that we all should follow."
He ended his explanation. Lincoln was now having a full interest to know more about this vigilante group, but it only ended there. "So now that you already know, you finally understand now why I'm letting you go out there?"
Lincoln was confused by this saying. He has no idea what he said since it's a short explanation. He understood, yes, but he wasn't liking or accepting, the terms at all. Judging by his face, he was really eager to go out there and let fate determine what's going to happen.
"Look, I don't care if you're from some underground agency or whatever you call it! I'm still gonna stop him. And you'll see that I can stop this." The young vigilante stated.
"Kid…" Hudson tried to reason out with him again, but Lincoln interrupted.
"Listen, you can't stop Taurus, too. You should know that. I already tried that, and look at me." Lincoln mentioned his attempts to stop him. "I got a plan. A better one actually. Why don't we work together? You and me, we can stop him, and the bombs."
"Yeah, I'm not interested in the offer, kid." Hudson declined. "Besides, I'm a vigilante, not a hero. I don't need a sidekick." Hudson finally left the Black Bunker as he grappled his way to the Old City Hall.
"Yeah, like it's gonna be that way," Lincoln said to himself, as he put on his mask and grabbed his Boom Sticks. "I'll just sneak past behind him, and I'll just – "
CLAMP!
"Hey, what now?!" the young vigilante groaned. He realized now that he got his foot stuck a beartrap. Luckily, the beartrap wasn't that sharp or didn't have any of its teeth to go through his leg. The effect of the beartrap is to just keep him from running by clamping together really tight.
Lincoln tried to get rid of it, but it was no use. He can't even drag his own feet because of how heavy it is. He even tried to open it with all of his force, but it was closed shut.
This might take him a long time.
Later, at the bomb-surrounded Old City Hall, a police car arrived as Morris got out. He, along with the captain, rushed to the scene. It already seems that the RWPD troops are only seen. No SWAT, no military. Not even a hero to call in overseas or anywhere spreading across the nation. Nothing.
"Give me what you know, now!" Morris ordered an RWPD officer. "I want everything that you all know about those bombs – it's making everyone in this town feel uneasy about it."
The RWPD officer started to explain. "Well, we tried everything we can to disarm it. That was the first thing we did. We tried observing the bomb for fifteen minutes, and nothing. No open hatches, no buttons, not even a weak spot to shut it off."
"Wait, what did you say? Shutting off?" the captain asked. The last part caught his attention. "What are you talking about? Those bombs are not even glowing to start with."
"Yes, they're not." The officer admitted. "But they started beeping at some point. We didn't even touch them or do anything to them. It just started to beep all the sudden."
The captain was now feeling nervous. "Crap." He muttered under his breath.
"It can't be a timer, can't it?" Morris asked. He was also unsure of how to solve this situation. "Vaughn, you have to agree with me on this, right? It could be a timer. We can defuse that thing if we can try. Right? Right?!"
"I-I don't know, Morris, I don't even have an answer to all this!" the captain, Vaughn, snapped. "We don't even know what to do. We can't contact a hero from other places besides Royal Woods. RECON hasn't responded yet, and we're in a major problem now."
He let out his breath shakingly. Morris tried to calm down the elderly captain, but his hand was shoved away. So far, the entire city was now trying to question on who can stop this incident.
Meanwhile, Hudson arrived on the scene as he grappled his way inside the building without getting detected. Trying to make sure that the area is clear from the authorities, he pulled out his weapon just in case.
So far, the empty city hall was quiet, except for the police cars and helicopters surrounding the area outside. Hudson still has his weapon in his hands as he made to the clear and long hallway. Somehow, there was something that was placed in the center of the building. It caught his attention for one question: What was it doing there?
As he jumped his way to the center, he realized now what was it: A terminal computer that was somehow connected to all of the bombs each. To his own theory, it must be something where all of the bombs will start to detonate. He even noticed by the monitor that there was a countdown, for only about thirty minutes.
"A thirty-minute countdown? And a terminal that's attaching all the bombs? What a cheap move, Taurus." Hudson mocked the villain's plan. A computer that's already going to explode all the bombs? What a cheap move.
Hudson started to hack into the computer. "Not to worry, Loyal Woods, or whatever this place is. I can hack into the system and this will be all just a dream." With the final typing being last heard, the computer started to beep as a message was revealed in the screen:
"PASSWORD DECLINED. REMINDER: ALL BOMBS ARE SET TO DEFUSE, AND WILL NOT BE HACKED FOR DEFUSING."
"What? You can't be serious." Hudson let out a breath to keep his composure. "Okay, then? How will stop it?" he asked himself.
"You can't." a voice spoke, that didn't really scare nor surprise the vigilante mentor. He just glanced at behind him, where he is also standing by the hallway.
It was Taurus. He somehow arrived last with his jetpack flying him to the city hall. "You can't stop the countdown. The terminal computer made sure that you, or anyone who has the guts to come in here, won't be able to hack in to the mainframe to disarm those bombs." He jumped down.
"Why do you want to blow the city? You better explain yourself. Now!" Hudson aimed his weapon at him in its crossbow form.
"Please, you won't be able to stop me with your weapons. We never even met. And I don't know if you're an associate to the Raptor." Taurus noted. "Or… are you."
"You still haven't answered my question!" Hudson grew annoyed. It was like he was trying to stall him. Taurus didn't even have any back up with him.
Eventually, the villain just answered. "Ever since that vigilante came in this city, I tried if I can make him join by my side so we don't have to fight each other endlessly, until we both die in the endless battles we will face. But he refused! He left us like we're nothing but dirt! So, I made sure that he and I will face each other, and I managed to kill him, for revenge."
Hudson grew ticked about his explanation. "You know, your explanation doesn't make any sense. Raptor isn't someone that you can make a deal with that easily. He may be just a kid, but he is someone with a common sense that he uses more often." He chuckled. "You're really that predictable."
Taurus snarled at his insult since it's basically true. "Well… it looks like you came here to stop the bomb, huh? Well to bad, 'hero'." He mocked as he drew out his sword, which was now charged by his powers. "The countdown is just beginning."
Hudson realized that the timer in the monitor began its countdown. He already tried hacking to the mainframe, and it was no use. So, it's either he fights or flees.
The vigilante mentor scoffed. "I could've said those words better myself."
He shot an arrow from his weapon, sending it to Taurus. But somehow, the villain managed to grab the arrow in time with his right hand. Taurus then emitted an energy slice with an overhead slice to kill Hudson, only for him to dodge it and destroying the side of the hallway.
Hudson's weapon, Judge, transformed back into its submachine gun as he sprayed a few rubber bullets at him to make him drop his sword, which he did after getting hit. Hudson hurriedly rushed his way at him as he prepares to deliver an attack, but Taurus somehow regained back his focus as he blocked his fist coming to him.
"Not bad," Taurus commented. "For a vigilante like you."
Taurus strike him with his other hand as he blinded Hudson with a hook jab. He then delivered two jabs to the chest and followed by a kick to throw him straight to a wall. The kick was also hard, so it was hard for Hudson to get up to fight back.
Regaining his consciousness, Hudson's eyes widened as he witnessed Taurus arming himself with his sheath-shotgun, which he aimed at the hallway to create some falling debris to crush him. Hudson managed to avoid the debris and just kept running away from the numerous dark energy-fire being fired at from the villain's firearm, which just destroyed the old city hall, both inside and out.
Immediately and eventually, Hudson managed to fire an arrow, which went straight to his face, only to get it scarred in the process. The villain didn't mind the pain, since he thinks that pain will only make him strong. Taurus was then caught by a swarm of rubber bullets hitting him to the chest.
Hudson walked slowly to the villain with his weapon in its crossbow form. "Alright, pal. It's either you get two things around here: Get shot with a real lethal round. Or we can deal with the bombs getting defused." He gave two choices and pointed his weapon straight to his head.
"What's it gonna be?" he didn't stutter when he asked.
But Taurus did. "I choose…" he panted and cracked a smile. "…. a better approach instead." The vigilante mentor was confused.
While not paying attention for a couple of seconds, his hand was suddenly swatted away, and his armed hand was caught by a dark-energy-fireball that came out from the gun's muzzle. The shot that was fired went past Hudson's hand and was followed by destroying the weapon in the process. Once he got hit, Hudson groaned painfully as he felt his hand completely burned.
Taurus rose from his feet as he pushed the vigilante mentor away, far from him. He didn't crack a smile. He just loved watching anyone suffer in pain. He didn't show any remorse. He didn't even pull back and think about it. He just did what he had to do.
"You pathetic vigilante. I can't believe that you tried to find me." Taurus mocked. "You're the one that's predictable now. Ironic. Also, you're only twenty minutes left to try defusing the bombs." He glanced at the terminal. The timer was already in twenty minutes.
Hudson panted shakingly as he began to ask him something. "What kind of power do you have?"
"I'm glad you ask." Taurus' hand, which is holding the sword, began to glow dark red. "I injected myself with a serum that was supposed to be for a military project. I can't tell if the serum is ready, so I decided to test it on myself. And the results: It gave me powers now." He explained as he kept going. "Call it Flashfire. My Flashfire powers give me the ability to infuse anything that I hold in my hands with a deadly energized fire. Observe."
Taurus demonstrated his powers for him as he fired two shots from sheath-shotgun with dark energy fire at his feet, which forced him to go down onto his knees. Hudson was now yelling from the powerful effect of his Flashfire powers. He couldn't even let his legs support him.
Taurus began to make his next move. As he walked by his right, he raised his supercharged sword above him as he prepared to execute the vigilante mentor and put him out of his misery. The vigilante just accepted defeat as he waits for his death to come by closer at him. He didn't beg for mercy. He just accepted what's coming to him.
But suddenly, a mysterious figure came out of the ceiling as he kicked the villain in the face, sending him straight to back to the ground and was hit by the terminal computer. Hudson was lucky as he was sparred by the figure that kicked him down. He wanted to guess who it was.
"Thanks. I almost had it there for a second." Hudson thanked. "I thought I was a goner – "
He cut himself off from his words to go on. He realized that the person that saved him was no other than Lincoln Loud. He managed to make it in time as he came in for a surprise.
"Hey, no problem. I just did what's right." Lincoln said as he tried to lift Hudson up. "Besides, if there's one thing that I know from comic, is making a good entrance."
Hudson was about to say something. But he decided not to as he forced a small smile. Him and his comic book knowledge. "Can't argue with that, kid." He wasn't even going to question how he managed to get out of the trap.
"You need to get out of here. I can take him on my own. You need to get yourself healed up." Lincoln instructed him. It was like the student became the teacher.
"Wait!" Hudson stopped him. He sounded worried. "You can't go there and stop him all by your own. He's too powerful. Think about it."
"I already did. And my answer: is I'm going to stop him myself." Lincoln turned around to look at him. "Besides, you were the one who trained me. I can't deal with him."
Without protesting the young vigilante to just leave him and go home, Hudson just nodded in agreement. He wanted help, but he decided to let him give it a try. Since he met Taurus first before him, it will be obvious that the young boy will be able to stop him.
Taurus regained consciousness and his strength as he groaned and got up from his feet. He was now mad as a bull. "Show yourself! Whoever came in here will be responsible for that!" he yelled in anger.
"Alright, don't have to get mad, though. I'm coming in, Taury." Lincoln said, adding a nickname to the Taurus. Lincoln, in his White Raptor attire, entered as he stood on his ground, preparing himself to deal with his first villain.
"Wait! N-No!" the villain stuttered in disbelief. "You can't be… You were supposed to be dead!"
"Yeah… but something really weird happened when I was asleep. But let's not talk about that now." The white-haired vigilante said as he brought out his Boom Sticks from his holsters. "Let's talk about me and you in a weapon conversation. Interested?"
Gritting his teeth in a furious way, the Taurus yelled as he charges his way at White Raptor so he can kill him and get it over with. But the young vigilante reacted in time, blocking the sword from ever killing him in the process. White Raptor pushes him off in order to get some free space to engage his attack as well.
Eventually, the two began clashing their weapons together after Taurus jumped in the air as he tried to strike him. Lincoln was able to hear the movements the villain when he landed on the ground foot by foot in an attempt for Taurus to kill him with all his hate. Lincoln grappled the balcony as he tried to kick him, but the villain dodges quickly as the vigilante landed straight to the balcony.
Taurus scoffed. "Ha! Is that all you got?!" the villain mocked. "You're too predictable!"
Eventually, he got shot on his right shoulder, flinching away in pain. He realized that White Raptor has his right foot by the railings of the balcony. The vigilante attempts to shoot him with numerous electrical shots from his revolver mode, but each shot gets hit and missed. But those lucky shots weren't enough to bring the villain down to his knees in defeat.
Growling in anger, Taurus fired his sheath-shotgun with his Flashfire, but the vigilante swiftly dodged in time. Noticing a fire extinguisher by his right, White Raptor grabbed it, and throw his baton to the ground first. The villain saw this as he stared at the baton, lying on the ground.
"Really? Is that what you're going to do with your – AAAHHHH!" Taurus yelled as an electrical shockwave was emitted from the baton. He was blinded by the electrical blast and his body was feeling numb as well, due to the electrical charge surrounding his body.
Taurus wasted no time to shot him instead. But after White Raptor finally tossed the fire extinguisher in mid-air, Taurus fired another shot. This time, he realized that the shot going directly straight to the flying object, it already exploded in impact, creating a large fog of smoke.
Once the smoke clears, Lincoln entered and witnessed that Taurus was nowhere to be seen, or spotted. Lincoln was now dumbfounded that his strategy didn't work. He ignored his thoughts about his plan being a failure. He was now being vigilant around his surroundings as he tries to spot the villain, so he can –
POW!
A fist entered out of nowhere as it hit the young vigilante straight to his face. The impact of the fist was also hard. Hard enough to beat him to the ground in a second.
"You… are so weak!" the villain said in a cold manner as he delivered another punch, weakening the vigilante.
The young vigilante walked back, knowing that he can't take the punches one by one. Taurus grabbed Lincoln as he delivered another punch sending him straight to the ground. Trying to get up, the villain then kicked him straight.
"You… are so useless!" the villain then draws out his sheath-shotgun.
BAM!
A flare of dark energy fire caught Lincoln's mask. The blast was like a bomb. It didn't scar the young vigilante's face with burnt marks or anything that might injure him. But it did destroy his mask. Lincoln screamed as he was caught by the blast to the face.
The young vigilante fell down to the ground, before regaining his vision. Lincoln saw two feet about to kick him as his vision was blurry before it comes back normal.
"I gave you an opportunity!" the villain kicked him, dragging him straight by the floor. "And all you did, was just do your part: Save the city. Like some costumed freak!" he delivered another kick that injured the young vigilante.
Lincoln tried to flee away from him but was pinned down to the ground by the Taurus' foot. Pinned on the ground hard, the young vigilante tried to struggle his way out his grip, but he felt Taurus' foot pushing his chest to avoid moving.
"It's too late for you, Raptor," Taurus stated. "Soon, once I strike you, this city will be nuked. And you will be a part of it. You won't be able to see your new life, which just started, bloom ahead!"
The Taurus draws out his sword. He gripped the handle with both his hands as they all glow furiously with his Flashfire. The Flashfire then infused his sword with a very dark red energy. It looked menacing.
Lincoln was running out of options. He can't stop his first enemy and villain. He couldn't save the thousands of people in the city that he was born and raised. He couldn't even enjoy the other days that are about to come to him of being a hero.
Despite all that, he didn't give up. He tried to find a way to get him defeated.
Lincoln spotted his batons five feet away from him since they both dropped after getting hit in the face. He tries to find anything to use in order to counterattack the villain as well. Luckily, he knows how to deal in a situation like this.
He thought he was going to see his death earlier. He thought wrong.
Quickly, the young vigilante clasped his hands together, and strike it at Taurus' leg. The Taurus yelled in agony after getting hit with a rock on his leg. Lincoln regained his strength, despite getting injured too much, as he both dodge away, and the villain furiously striking his supercharged sword to the ground.
BOOOOOOMMMM!
A large blast wave was emitted from the supercharge sword. The blast wave that he emitted from his sword was large enough to do some damage to the city hall, and followed by destroying a few objects outside, destroying everything.
The blast wave did also affect the terminal computer itself. The timer was almost two seconds away to explode into oblivion. Once the blast radius went past by, the terminal computer itself started to short circuit. After a few sparks loose here and there, it already exploded. The explosion had already disarmed all the bombs that were surrounding the building.
Taurus foiled his own plan. All by himself. All by his own hands. It was like karma got to him.
After the large blast wave which ended already in the end, Taurus realized what he had just done. His horrified expression was shifted on his face as he glanced at the terminal was now completely destroyed and shut off by his own powers.
He dropped his sword, now broken in half, to the ground. He realized that he was now facing own consequences of his actions.
All of his hard work, ruined. First, he tried to run as mayor. Second, he tried to get revenge on White Raptor by testing his heroism for the greater good of all people. And lastly, he tried to get revenge on the city for no absolute reason.
Now… What is the feeling now? His mind.
His mind losing his sanity. His sanity crumbling slowly and slowly until everything is completely eradicated into dust. He glanced at his ruined scheme. He was so close.
Then he glanced at the one thing, the one thing that ruined his life from the start. The one thing that he wanted to kill and kill and until he started to beg for mercy: Him!
White Raptor is the one to blame. He was just standing there, looking to himself, as if he is the hero at the end of a comic book.
"I can't believe it…" Lincoln said to himself. He was lucky to save his home, "I did it." He smiled victoriously.
"You…" he muttered in an angered tone. He was now pissed.
Taurus should be the one smiling that he had accomplished everything from the start. Taurus screamed in anger, or much to his boiling point, as he charged at the young vigilante, with rage and fury guiding his vision.
The vigilante was too late to notice. "What the –" he was cut off after he was tackled to the ground by the powerful grip of the villain's hands holding his throat. As if like he was being choked to death.
The young vigilante was being choked to death mercilessly. As of now, his damaged masked was now exposing his right eye as his vision was getting blurry, and his mouth motioning as he was gasping for air. He was also struggling to get off from his grip as he tried to take off his hands from him, but he wasn't able, given how strong Taurus is.
Taurus grabbed his sheath-shotgun as he pointed it straight to Lincoln's head while choking him with one hand. "You ruined everything! ALL MY HARD WORK, ALL MY STRUGGLES! WASTED…" he snarled in anger. A pushed the gun hard on his head. "… all because of you… Lincoln Loud!"
Lincoln widened his eyes in shock. "Wait… where did you…?" he asked weakly. How on Earth did he know that he is a vigilante. "What are you talking about…?"
"I always knew that there was a kid living in the same city as I did, who desperately wanted to be a hero!" he mocked the words 'desperately' and 'hero'. "It's so obvious, YET, people don't know that you were the HERO in this city!" he angrily continued, "Not even your family, your friends, or my own son!" he pushed the gun on the young vigilante's head with enough force.
Lincoln was about to die soon. He couldn't take it anymore. He needs to find a way to let loose and stop him.
"Who knows… maybe everyone that you know, that you remembered… will just remember you as a failure." He added. "Even the person that you dearly missed… who died once."
Lincoln's eye widened. It was like he felt like he snapped. The last sentence acted as a trigger word.
Lincoln immediately grabbed a stone, that was big as his hand, as he struck it to Taurus' head, which also cracked his eye mask. Lincoln used the same stone to break the weapon before he could use it. Then, he threw the rock at him before Taurus attempted to charge at him again.
Lincoln immediately ran to grab his Boom Sticks in time. Wanting to stop him from what he said, since words can truly hurt. With that said, Lincoln blasted two electric shots at Taurus' head, blinding him. Then, he grappled by the second floor and swung his way to kick him flying by the wall.
Taurus tried to get up from the ground but was he was grabbed and lifted by Lincoln as the latter pinned him to the wall furiously. His right hand formed into a fist as he furiously beat him senselessly. Lincoln kept punching him to relieve his stress time after time until his mask started to crack open.
Lincoln then tossed the villain straight to the floor, where light is seen. The furious vigilante walked his way at him as he started to choke him back with his batons. Taurus was now struggling for air as he was seeing his darkness from his blurry and blackening vision. Ironic.
"Please… stop…" Taurus tried to speak, despite gasping for air. "Lincoln… please!"
CRACK. THUD.
The sound of the villain's mask was now removed once and for all. Lincoln didn't touch it, and neither the villain did. It just cracked open by itself. It finally revealed his identity to him.
"It's me!" he coughed up some blood. "Lincoln, calm down, it's me…"
The young vigilante, who just somehow started brutally hurting the villain, jumped back a little as he was now lost for words. His mouth was agape, his pupils shrunk, and his expression shifted into guilt as he stared at the one person who he is beating, who also orchestrated this whole plan himself:
"Mr. Greenville?" the young vigilante softly said. He was now looking at the Greenville businessman and father, with his own two eyes. What has he done?
"Lincoln, thank God for you." Edward tirelessly spoke. "You need to understand… understand that I didn't do this! You have to believe me!" he started to groan in pain, and it was a desperate one. "No… You have to kill him! I'll… kill you!"
It was like the mind of both Taurus and Edward are clashing together. So far, it wasn't sure who is winning or taking over the host body. They were fighting for dominance: where the one wanted to kill the boy and the other wanted to refuse.
Lincoln watched the poor man fight himself. He spoke with concern. "Mr. Greenville…" he reached out his hand.
"The Taurus! He wants to…" Edward yelled as he tried to fight it. Lincoln didn't intervene as he just watched in confusion. "He wants to take over my body! He wants me… to kill you! I can't let… that… happen!"
"You tried to kill everyone in this city." Lincoln pointed out his scheme. Edward has his full attention. "My family… my friends… The people that I know."
"I didn't do it! I never wanted to!" Edward stated. His tone sounded like he was being honest. "I never even wanted this to start! Please! Help me!" his voice almost shifted back to Taurus'. "I'll murder you… Please, don't let him!"
"Why do it?" he asked. It was the only thing that was running on his mind. "You tried to kill everyone! You even tried to kill the people that I cared about. Why?"
"But I'll never hurt you." Edward pointed out. "Never! I wouldn't. And I'm very sorry." he coughed badly. "Listen… you have to let me go. You have to let me go, so that I can find a cure. You, Lincoln Loud, will be a hero if you protect, and let me go to avoid the authorities. I know you'll do that."
He continued as he breathed shakingly. "I know… that I've done some bad things when he took over. But… I can fix it! I can cure myself! I can get rid of him forever! And once this is all over, I'll make sure that you will continue your duty as a hero, which this city desperately needs. So, will you help me?" he said as he reached out his hand to him.
Lincoln was now in deep thought. He finally goes in the part to where he has to choose: Save the villain who is willing to change or let them suffer as their permanent punishment. Of course, he is still new to the hero thing, but as much as possible, he doesn't know whether to do any of those choices or not. The white-haired vigilante had been through hell to fight off against his first villain in the city that was also trying to terrorize it.
But after looking back at some of the crimes he had done, Lincoln already decided what will it be for the Greenville businessman and father. He refused everything that was running on his mind and took a deep breath before talking.
"I'm doing it." He simply said. Edward was shocked to hear this. "I'm not helping you or letting you escape from the authorities. You did this to yourself, Mr. Greenville. You became the one thing that would almost kill the thousands in this city. You tried to destroy my home."
Edward looked at him with a guilty look on his face. He was perfectly clear that he did it. Despite saying that he was controlled by Taurus, but still, he was a victim.
"I'm very sorry, Mr. Greenville, but…" he placed back his Boom Sticks into his holsters. "You need to face justice, for the crimes that you committed." With that, he slowly walked away as he left a defeated Edward by the ground.
The Greenville villain breathed slowly. He felt outraged by one simple offer, and he refused. He was stepped on like dirt. Again.
His voice started to shift back to the Taurus. "You never really had a conscience. A conscience to kill me…" he grabbed his broken half sword, which can be heard, even far away. "WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE!"
Lincoln quickly turned around to see the mad screaming Greenville. Lincoln managed to pull out his Boom Stick, and dodged the broken blade several times. Realizing that he suffered from his injuries, the Taurus almost collapsed, but desperately went back to his feet as he readies to charge his blade at the young vigilante.
Lincoln and Edward were both close to each other, almost. Lincoln gripped his baton hard enough, and carefully swung his baton in mid-air as his baton, and struck it straight at the villain's face.
Once hit, it made an after effect.
BANG!
A loud bang was heard throughout the entire building, which can be also heard outside as the police heard it too. They all decided to intervene as they heard the loud noise that caught their attention.
"Everyone! Get in there, now!" Morris ordered the entire RWPD troops as they all began storm inside the hallway. They were all armed with M14s and riot gear.
Back inside, Lincoln breathed out slowly, since he was about to get stabbed but he was lucky enough to avoid it when he made the first move. Edward, in the other hand, felt like his vision and body almost shut down entirely. He dropped the broken sword to the ground, thus his eyes slowly closing as he landed on the ground.
THUD!
He lied there. Tiredly. Desperately. Dazed. Unconscious. Whatever the case is, Lincoln didn't kill him or anything. It just made him drop down on the ground, defeated.
The white-haired vigilante was confused by this. He doesn't show the villain immediately got knocked out with a single strike. Maybe it was his imagination or just a little thought that appeared on his mind instead.
Loud footsteps were heard, and they were close as they footsteps hurriedly marched their way right to the building. Lincoln panicked, as he observed the area, and quickly grappled his way out of the scene as the police barged inside.
"Freeze! RWPD!" One armored male officer yelled. Surprisingly, he, along with the other officers, was confused to see no White Raptor, but an unconscious Edward, lying on the ground.
Another male police officer, along with two more, rushed to the motionless villain as he observed the body. The female officer started to check on him. "It's fine. He's still conscious, but he was knocked this quick."
"Do you think that he did it?" Another armed officer asked. He was curious but wasn't ignorant.
"Yeah, isn't it obvious?" A younger-looking officer answered. "Plus, he was the one who planted all those bombs outside in the first place. Besides, if there's anyone we should thank, then it's the White Raptor."
Lincoln was seen on top of the building as he watched the police crew carry the knocked-out Edward into custody after an ambulance stopped at the scene.
"If there was one thing I know from comic books, is that the hero always wins. But not because of how flashy, cool, or powerful they are. They effortlessly tried to their best to save the city, or the world, from an evil villain that almost killed many innocent people. As a vigilante, I didn't come here to gloat after, I came here to stop it all. And that's what happened… in the end."
Lincoln kept watching as he watched the midnight sky, and started to grapple his way out and go somewhere else. Another night saved once again.
Two months later…
"And now, and we're back to the Michigan State News. Now here's MSN news reporters, Tina Ambers, and Henry Jacks."
The scene cuts to the two news reporters, who are all seated on their seats for the daily news. It was around about ten-thirty am in the morning, so basically, this is the morning news.
"Thank you, Dean. I'm Tine Ambers and my partner, Henry Heard, live to give out the newest details about last night's incident." Tina spoke first.
And it was Henry's turn. "That's right, Tina. Last night, a mysterious bombing attempt was seen at the Old City Hall, located in Royal Woods, Michigan. Police officers have stated that every bomb that was planted around the city was all now removed and disarmed after they all shut down mysteriously. Sounds weird you ask, but at least he's out of the picture now."
Tina chuckled. "That's good, Henry. In other related news, former business and owner of the known weapon manufacturing company called Sentinel Corps, Edward Greenville, or better known as the Black Taurus, was now arrested last two days ago. It was also added that he will be serving ten years of imprisonment with no bailout charge as he is being transported already at the Belle Haven Penitentiary. His bailout charge has not been announced during the trial."
"Looks like this city won't be having to deal with another major villain threat this time, huh?" Henry asked.
"They won't be at all, Henry. Cause we, or should I say Royal Woods too, has our thanks for the mysterious vigilante, and mysterious hero, White Raptor."
"Well said, Tina." Henry smiled as agreed. "This was Henry Jacks and Tina Ambers from the Michigan State News, signing out, for the peacefulness around the world."
At school, everyone was doing a lot of relaxing and less school work more often after two months. Why? Because today was the last remaining day of school. Summer was reaching its start, schools are almost at their end, and students are happy to celebrate the day.
With that said, everyone was just doing the usual 'before their vacation starts' routines: Complete some tasks, do some other important stuff that is still credited, and mostly saying goodbye to some possible old students, and hang out with their friends and classmates before they all depart their ways. Those were the most important things in school life.
By the lockers. "Can't believe it, it's been two months already and the school's about to end." Wendy closed her locker and sighed happily. "What a time to be alive."
"That's really great. Mine's… not gonna be that great, I guess." Lincoln chuckled nervously.
"How come? You always said that spending time with your big family is one of the best things that you have in summer." Daniel noted as he started to remove some of his stuff in his locker. Ever since his father was now moved to Belle Haven, he wasn't sure if he is happy or sad about it. He was having mixed feelings but had hated that his father was a villain.
"Yeah, but this is a lot different for me," Lincoln stated sadly. "My sister is gonna be graduating in high school, and I'll be stuck with six crazy sisters. Also, my older sister, Lori, said that she's getting a special mission wherever she's studying at."
"Could it be like some sort of college stuff?"
"Maybe." The young boy sighed in defeat. "Looks like my whole summer is gonna be filled chaos…"
They all paused for a second, and Wendy broke the silence with a smug. "But…"
The white-haired boy snorted a bit. "But they still count on me for a lot of reasons."
"Yep, that's exactly what's gonna happen anyway. You saying that out from your mouth would prove us otherwise." Daniel chuckled.
"So, got any plans, you guys?" Lincoln asked. "You know, it's not a summer vacation without any plans."
"Of course, we do, Ice Cap," Wendy said. "While I still didn't get an interview from a hero, since whatever I say is all fake, I'll be spending my time playing hockey with my team. Got nothing else to do, but that." She faced Daniel with a questioning look. "What about you, Daniel? Got any plans since 'Taurus' is out of the picture?" she quoted the villain's name.
"Well, since my dad's at the jail, and serving his sentence, I guess I'll be spending the summer with my cousins," Daniel said, in a sad tone. "I just… can't believe this is happening. I mean, I thank White Raptor for stopping that villain, but I never knew that my dad would become the one thing he hated."
"Wait, he hates villains, too?" Lincoln asked. He never knew that Taurus would also hate villains, aside from heroes.
"It's a complicated story, Linc." He reassured the white-haired boy. "Trust me, you won't like to know that much about it."
"Fair point."
Meanwhile at the other room, or commonly the teacher's office, Hudson is seen packing up his things as he starts to put everything in a box. The cardboard box was actually filled with most of his stuff for school, and his one thousand paged planner as a substitute teacher. But the word substitute for him was like a temporary thing for a teacher. So basically, it was a lot confusing for him, since he is there to train Lincoln how to be a vigilante.
He heard a knock by the door, and he noticed. "I know you show up, kid. Just in time, too. I was about to leave in fifteen minutes." Hudson said.
"Actually, I was wondering if you're going to meet me outside, or at the hideout, or wherever. But here? Wouldn't anyone notice?" Lincoln asked.
"The hideout's already empty. And it exploded once the whole place is cleared out. And the teachers here won't find out. They were busy celebrating a little party they hosted for themselves. So, we're clear in the open to talk about this stuff." The vigilante mentor explained.
"Right. I totally get that." Lincoln nodded his head. He observed the box that Hudson uses. "So, are you planning to go somewhere else? A new school? Or maybe a hero program? Both?"
"I'm leaving the city, and I'm heading back to my old group." The vigilante mentor grabbed one last object from his table as it is clear already. "I told them that they needed me, so it's like they came back crawling, but not really, to have me back."
"What for?"
"Classified information from my group. They said it'll have a practical problem if I say it to anyone." Hudson clarified. "Even you, kid. Sorry."
"Hey, I totally get it. If it's private, I understand." The white-haired boy reassured. "It's no big deal after all."
Hudson smiled as he chuckled. "No wonder." He chuckled again. He placed his hand on Lincoln's shoulder and chuckled. "Make sure that this city is protected. Make sure that this city does need a protector like you."
Lincoln smiled back and nodded in agreement. "I will. I promise, that this city will be safe. No matter what."
Hudson nodded back. He knows that his former student already knows how to protect the city that he lives in, will be protected no matter what. He grabbed his stuffed box as the two prepared to head out.
"Hey, Hudson. Wait." The man stopped walking as he turned back to Lincoln. "I just wanna say thanks. Thanks for training to become who I am now. I'm really glad that I took this opportunity from the start."
"It's all good, kid. Just make sure that you'll be this city's guardian. No matter what." Hudson waved goodbye to the boy as he left off the room, leaving the school already.
As Lincoln prepared to head out, he started to walk in the hallway as he thinks to himself one thing: How does it feel to be a vigilante who stops criminals and thugs, to stopping a villain that lives in the same city as he does.
"Life out there is still a lot to handle. Yeah, Royal Woods is still filled with crime, the justice system is revoked, and theirs only like thirty percent of heroes in the population, but it wasn't enough."
"What I'm trying to say is, that despite being a vigilante, people will trust me, and others won't. But as much as possible, I don't really care. I'll never forget how I started to become who I am now. I'm not just a hero, a vigilante, or someone in a mask. I'm White Raptor… and this is… the beginning."
And so, Lincoln Loud, White Raptor attire, began to swing his way throughout the city of Royal Woods. Grappling, sprinting, and jumping from rooftops as he starts to find anyone who is in need of help, they will be saved once he arrives.
He grappled on a rooftop, followed by dropping down to the alleyways between an apartment building. He grappled another tall building that's far away from him, but managed to reach it to the end. With that said, he stands there, beside the American flag where it casted the vigilante.
Then, he leaped once again, to save anyone or stop anyone that will endanger the city in night or day, without any questions. Whatever the crime will be, Lincoln will be there to stop it, no matter what.
Because he's not just a hero, nor a vigilante.
He is a White Raptor.
AND THAT'S THE WHOLE STORY OF WHITE RAPTOR. So far, I have had a lot of fun making and writing this story so far. I really do. I thought this story will be an absolute failure for me to start working, but I trusted myself, and some of my friends, and a family member of mine who also encourage me to make this story. I made this story because I admire comic books ever since I started to be a fan of them. And it changed my life, for the better. And I'm glad that I took that kind of hobby, which became my passion.
Before I end this story, there I already made a poll for my next TLH superhero au story for me to start working on. And the first chapter of the story will be published around after three months, or four. In case if you don't know how to vote (I get it, but this is for those who don't know how to vote), it's best if you vote on your laptop, and the polls are on top of my profile. The poll will end around September 10.
I also wanna thank NiteOwl18, Pirohiko-Balthazar, and Dante Wattersonf for helping me make this story happen. I really appreciate their service. And to add, you guys should also read their stories. They're really good.
But before I end this story, here's an end-credit post-credit scene I put in here.
POST-CREDIT SCENE
In the Loud residence, Lincoln is in his room, reading comic books in his underwear, while there is a glass of lemonade placed on his table/drawer.
It was the start of his summer vacation already. Summer for the Louds wasn't that peaceful, even if the siblings are reducing due to them entering college, which is important for them. The younger sisters are still trying to try to have fun by using their powers, and Lynn Jr, was being… Lynn.
So far, Lincoln was able to keep it no matter what. But hiding his secret identity will be a huge problem for him. He needs to balance both his vigilante life, school life, and his identity as much as possible. And –
Work it, Make it. Do it, Makes us
A ringtone from a popular song was heard from Lincoln's phone. No wonder he was a fan of two robot musicians from outer space.
Lincoln answered it, right after checking who it is. "Hello?"
"Hey, Lincoln. How's it going, little bro?"
"Oh hey, Lori." He greeted. "Doing great, that's all. Summer just started, the house's still in chaos, and I'm doing fine."
"That's great. I'm stuck here in the academy doing some training. But I'm starting my vacation anytime soon. Besides, I can do whatever I want."
"Right," Lincoln said with a smug on his face. College life for Lori was treating her both badly and kindly at the same time. It's balanced.
"So, anything cool, awesome, or any interesting stories you wanna tell me?"
At a large, military-like, academy, Lori Loud was there, wearing her hero costume, as she started to talk to her little brother on her phone. She was also outside by the balcony of her room, by herself.
"It's actually a 'read it yourself type'.I mean, you always loved reading old stories from RECON." She explained. "I'm sure you won't read it."
"Are you kidding? RECON is by far the best place to ever go to!" Lincoln said excitedly. "Besides, I think a good report, or school task, you did will be a good read for the summer. I don't mind if it's long. I'll take it."
Lori then formed a smile on her face. It was a warm smile. "Alright. Although just to warn you though, this story will be a lot better than the rest of the comics you ever read. You'll love it."
She sent her a file that says TASK REPORT FILE on the documents of her phone. She directly sent it to Lincoln.
"Oh, Lincoln one more thing," Lori said before she hangs up. "Good luck reading it. It's a long one, too. And a bit… complicated."
END CREDIT SCENE
At the RWPD, many police officers are inside, making some reports and investigations inside the station. They were really busy, and they were like they haven't slept for a long time. Why? Because it was around two-thirty in the morning, and the station was busy with all the reports happening.
"Give me an update, stat!" the captain spoke as he entered the busy officer with a coffee in his hand. "Come on, people! I know that all of you are tired, but we need to know what's with all of these complaints."
"Captain Vaughn, you need to hear quick, this sounded urgent!" a female officer called out from her seat.
"What do you got?"
"We received this complaint yesterday. There's someone saying that a girl just shot three criminals with blank bullets, but left a gang leader bleeding to death. That's all I what it says."
"We'll go in a full investigation on the body." He faced his right at another officer. "Lee, what do you have about, you know who?"
"It looks like it's about to get worse. The owner of the club decided to make some offers for potential fighters. It's only going to get worse if we receive a call about a bloody body and a fractured bone hip. Like last time."
"Any information about a masked giant from two weeks?"
"Not yet, sir," Lee replied. "Police choppers are trying their best to find it. But nothing."
"Captain, you need to see this outside! Quick!" Sawyer barged in, and rambled his words, as the captain rushed to his side. But what's really important is that Sawyer is a man who knows how to inform people with the right information, since he views him as an honest cop.
"Cap, you still remember that rapist who escaped in prison, and was still at large for about five months?" Sawyer reminded and explained.
"Yeah, I do. That bastard almost put five officers in a hospital. Screaming, and whimpering." Vaughn angrily stated. "What about him?"
"Well…" Sawyer said as he opened the door for him, which is the exit of the station.
The two of them approached what was left outside the station. Some of the officers outside were to scared or nervous to touch it, or to near it with precaution. Sawyer and Vaughn walked slowly at what was left outside.
He dropped his mug on the floor and had his mouth agape in horror. "My… God…"
It was the rapist that they were looking for. The rapist was tied up, covered in scars, bruises and numerous bleeding spots are seen in the open. He was like trying to say something since he is moving his mouth.
"I know, the rapist that we were been looking for, was right here. All beaten up and bloodied at the same time. He even has a lot of scars on his face." Sawyer cringed. "It's really scary to look at."
"I bet that vigilante did this."
"It can't be him. He would never do that. White Raptor doesn't even use words. Besides, this could be the work of an assassin or… another vigilante." He guessed.
The captain just paused for a bit and looked at the body again. He pondered what Sawyer said. "… you're probably right."
Elsewhere, by the alleyway, a mysterious, shadow figure was seen watching from afar as it swung its sword at a brick wall, as it created a portal, which is a mix of red and black. The figure entered the portal as it closes.
And that was the end and post-credits. Shocking right? Although, I can't tell what were your opinions or reaction to my first TLH superhero story. Anyway, remember to please leave a review, and I'll see you next time. Thank you for reading my story. I really appreciate interest for reading.
