The five kids quietly snuck around the castle, careful not to make any sound, noise, not even a peep. They went down one hallway and another, a few corridors, took a few left and right turns, and it wasn't long till they were going down a hallway and stopped when Charlie raised a hand to signal them to stop. He pointed forwards and they saw Lady Olivia.
Lady Olivia was laying down in a rocking chair, she was deeply asleep, snoring slightly as she had a book laying in her lap. The book looked like it was a literary classic while while in one of her hands, she had a glass of what looked like lemonade with a sliced lemon pressed on the side of the glass and a bendy straw. Her hair was slightly ruffled.
They continued forwards once Charlie motioned his hand to signal them to keep going but he pressed a finger to his lips to let them know they had to move as silently as possible. They moved forwards and started going down a flight of stairs. Polly hung back for a moment as she gotten out what looked like a marker and she was smiling mischievously as she looked like she was going to draw on Lady Olivia's face.
They all later continued to go down the stairs which had neon blue mushrooms as a source of light to see where they were going down the flight of stairs. When they reached the bottom. They entered a large room with two big lemon yellow lights to illuminate the room. There were a lot of large barrels all around the walls of the room. They probably were barrels filled with wine since the smell wasn't gun powder.
They saw a wooden door on the floor with a round handle above it. Anne was about to grab the handle to lift it open but Charlie intervened.
"Want to try opening the door together?" Charlie suggested.
Anne looked at the door on the floor that led to the basement and at Charlie. She remembered how strong Charlie is and she knew that she too is strong but the door looked like it would be a little hard to open by herself or it looked like someone as big and strong as Charlie or a bodybuilder would have the strength to pull the door open.
She nodded and both of them grabbed a hold of the round knocked that was bolted on the door. Both letting out a breath as they got ready to open the seemingly heavy door.
"Hitotsu, futatsu, mittsu, puru!" Charlie counted off.
The two pulled on the handle and with their combined strength. They pulled the door off the entrance to the basement. A big cloud of smoke burst out once they pulled the door off, causing them all to cough for a bit till the smoke cleared. They saw the entrance to the basement was opened and they saw a flight of stairs going down, no lights to illuminate anything, it was looking like it would be dark down there. Everyone had a slight look of nervous worry since they found the appearance of the entrance to be eerie looking but could only imagine what's down there.
"So, who wants to go first?" asked Sprig nervously.
"I vote Anne." Polly immediately announced.
"What? Why?" asked Anne caught off guard.
"Well, it was your idea." Marcy pointed out.
Anne gulped and before she was able to be the first to go down the stairs, that's when Charlie intervened and stopped her.
"I'll go first. Be careful going down these stairs. I once slipped and fell down the stairs when I was five steps down to the floor." Charlie warned.
"You were okay afterwards?" asked Sprig.
"I was fine. The only thing broken was my pride just like that absent minded professor when he was proving how his experiment worked but had a fail." answered Charlie.
"What was the experiment?" asked Polly.
"He had created a sentient green goo that was going to be used as a new source of energy to save a college from closing. He was trying to prove to a woman that his experiment was a success by placing it in his back pocket and he was going to bounce off the ground by falling out the window. That thing he created ripped out his pocket, he fell out the window and landed on his back, hard. He was alright, but his pride was the only thing that got hurt." Charlie explained.
Sprig and Polly shown a wide eyed look at the very mentioning of what Charlie told them. An experiment involving to fall out a window with something in their pocket to bounce them back up but fails sounded like an experiment none of them want to do. Charlie was the first to go down the stairs while the rest followed. Anne, Charlie and Marcy got out their phones and they used the built in flashlight from their phones to use as a source of light.
"If only I had a rope so we could use it to make sure we don't get lost around here or so we don't stray from the group." Charlie said.
A loud and audible flapping sound was heard and even in the limited lighting they had for the time being, they were blushing while none of them could tell.
"Seriously, who farted?" chuckled Sprig.
"It sure wasn't Charlie, that's for sure." giggled Polly.
They all chuckled from the humorous fart but they stopped for a moment when Charlie sharply uttered "Stop!" they stopped for a minute and despite their eyes trying to get used to the dark and the human teenagers phones having a source of light to illuminate their way. Charlie looked around and saw no signs of danger anywhere.
"Let's go forwards. Ikimashou." Charlie instructed.
They continued forwards but that's when one of them slipped on one of the steps. Anne and Charlie saw Marcy was the one who slipped and was falling down the stairs as she screamed.
"Marcy!" cried Anne wide eyed.
"Kyō janai!" said Charlie sharply.
Charlie charged down the stairs after Marcy and he quickly grabbed hold of Marcy by her shirt but he too was about to fall. He managed to take hold of Marcy in his arms as he flipped, jumped up into the air and jumped off the walls when his feet would meet the walls.
"Brace yourself!" said Charlie sharply.
He jumped off the steps and fell down forwards like he was a ball rolling down a slide till he landed on the floor which was probably the bottom of the staircase. Marcy had her eyes closed and shook a little, but than she opened her eyes to find herself being carried by Charlie in his arms. Marcy blushed at the sight of Charlie as his long, thick, beautiful hair swayed in a beautiful form while she felt like she was carried by a muscular god. But than Charlie saw her and both of them ended up blushing which Charlie set Marcy back on her feet to the floor.
"Just like that rabbit said, right?" chuckled Charlie nervously.
"Watch out for that first step, doc. It's a real lulu." Marcy replied nervously.
Charlie and Marcy got out their phones to illuminate the room with the light from their phones and Marcy looked to her left to see a mirror but her reflection wasn't the only thing she saw. She saw what looked like a butterfly on the mirror but the butterfly's reflection was appearing in front of Marcy's face which it made Marcy look like she had a toothy grin in the mirror with long, sharp, demonic looking teeth. Charlie looked and saw the same thing Marcy did. The two jumped in a startled panic.
"What the fuck was that!" said Charlie in a panicked tone.
They backed up and bumped into someone and both of them screamed in horror. They saw it was just Anne, Sprig and Polly. Each one of them uttered a loud scream of surprised horror as if startled by an unexpected surprise like a jump scare in a horror film.
"Okay, that's enough." Anne instructed sharply.
"Hold up a minute, guys." Charlie instructed.
They all stopped and saw what looked like a hallway with a series of numerous mirrors all over the walls. That butterfly that Charlie and Marcy saw flew down the hallway, disappearing into the dark.
"Whoa, that's a lot of mirrors." said Sprig.
"It's like a hall of mirrors in a fun house but this isn't a fun house." Charlie said looking at a few mirrors.
"So, anyone wanna turn back and go into the Book of Losers?" chuckled Anne nervously with a grin.
They all looked at each other and tried to brush their fears off but it was a nervous attempt to do so as each one of them gave a nervous word of denial. They continued on and walked down the hall of mirrors. Each one of them would sneak a peek at their reflections a few times when they saw a mirror or more.
"You know, some cultures believe mirrors can ward off malevolent spirits, or summon them." said Marcy with a mischievous smile.
She looked in one of the mirrors and let out a playful yet sinister laugh.
"Marcy Wu, let me poke your soul. Ha ha ha!" came a deep and demonic voice laughing.
Marcy froze and that's when someone grabbed her from behind by her shoulders. This caused her to jump and turn to see it was only Charlie mimicking a scary voice for a laugh.
"Gotcha!" giggled Charlie.
"Aren't you a devil." chuckled Marcy.
"Than I'll need an exorcism." joked Charlie giggling.
After their jokes and laughter ceased. They walked further down the hallway till they stopped at a blocked door. The blocked door had some wooden boards nailed and bolted to the door, some metal chains were wrapped around it but they saw some Newtopian text painted on it in red. They all had a wide eyed expression in a mix of fright and curiosity.
"Uh, Marcy, what does this say?" asked Anne with a tone of fear.
Marcy walked up to it a bit and looked at the sign that it had painted on it. She was giving it a look as if she was reading Sanskrit.
"My command of Newtopian linguistics is limited, but what it says should be fairly obvious." said Marcy.
"Keep out." they all said in unison.
They heard the sound of what was probably the door creaking loudly which startled them all into a jump. Sprig, Polly and Marcy were wide eyed with fear. Anne was looking nervous while Charlie was breathing in and out deeply to calm himself.
"Okay, somebody's gotta wanna go back by now." said Anne.
"I-I-I ain't going in no Book of Losers." said Sprig shivering.
"Me n-n-n-neither." Polly said in a shivering panic.
"The only way I'm going in the Book of Losers is if every single one of us is in there and that's not gonna happen." said Charlie shaking all over.
"Guess we'll go a bit further then." said Marcy hesitantly.
"Uh-huh. Living my best life right now." said Anne feeling tense.
"I'll open the door." Charlie volunteered.
Charlie was the first to grab hold of the wooden board took in a deep breath. He pulled the on the board and with all his mighty strength, he pulled it open as it was a bit and there was a loud wooden click as he opened the door and the five kids peered into the room but stopped at the top of another flight of stairs but this time, it was smaller and shorter.
What they saw next left them all surprised, wide eyed and their mouths hung open. They were now in a flooded room full of coffins with red luminous mushrooms with a source of light inside. There was even some chains draped around the room and around some coffins.
"What the heck? It's some kind of creepy crypt." said Anne in surprise.
"The crypt keeper would poop a brick if he saw this room." said Charlie.
Polly felt a sense of a thrill coming on. She smiled excitedly while Sprig was looking curious but he too felt a sense of excitement rushing through his body and mind.
"Whoa-ho. You mean like with dead bodies? Cool." said Polly bouncing forwards.
Both Sprig and Polly bounced and hopped forwards and landed on one of the coffins. Marcy and Anne felt afraid as they saw they might've reached their limit. Charlie was purely stoic but his heart was racing from nervous panic. Marcy grabbed hold of Anne and Charlie's hands, shaking them out of fear as if trying to convince them to leave with her.
"Anne, Charlie, we shouldn't be here. This feels all sorts of wrong." said Marcy her fear taking over.
"Guys, I, uh, think Marcy's right. We should head back upstairs." said Anne in agreement.
"Maybe we should go back upstairs. I saw a horror film that involved this situation and only one of them made it to the sequel." warned Charlie.
The two frog children turned around and shown a look of guilt as if they were feeling the same way the human teenagers did.
"Oh, I see. So I guess you two are okay with going in..." Sprig began.
"The Book of Losers." said Sprig and Polly together teasing.
Anne brushed off her fear and shown denial as she felt like she wanted to prove her bravery.
"What are you? Freaking nuts." said Charlie with an evil smile.
Charlie let out his evil, madman like cackling laugh loudly and shown defiance in their teasing as he was tossing his fear out the window. He let out another laugh in that same iconic, madman like laughter.
"Don't make me laugh." said Charlie smugly.
"Pfft. We don't wanna go back 'cause we're scared. This place just isn't our style." said Anne in denial.
Sprig turned to look at a coffin that was the creepiest looking one in the entire room and it had horns on the top of it.
"Okay, prove it. Take a selfie by that coffin." dared Sprig.
They turned to see the coffin that Sprig pointed out. Two large green centipedes crawled over it and disappeared somewhere into the room. The three humans shown some hesitancy but Charlie swallowed his fear down as he began rolling up the pants part of his legs as he knew that if they're going to get into the water, than he didn't want to soak the bottom of his pajamas.
"Would Sasha do this?" asked Marcy and Charlie in unison.
"Oh, yeah." answered Anne.
"Whose camera should we use?" asked Charlie curiously.
"We'll use mine." said Anne getting out her phone.
The three human teenagers walked over to the coffin and were walking in the water towards it. Charlie was smart to roll up the sleeves of his pants because the water was ankle deep. Sprig and Polly started to feel their fear coming back up on them. Sprig nearly wanted to stop them but they stood there on top of the coffin that floated above the water.
They stood in front of the coffin that Sprig pointed out. Anne got the phone ready and set take a picture with the camera phone function. Marcy held up two fingers while Anne held the phone up with Charlie in the middle of them. He held onto them.
"All right, say desecration." instructed Anne nervously.
"Desecration." the three humans said in unison with a smile.
Anne pushed a button and a camera flashed a white light. They took a selfie and got up while Charlie removed his hands and arms from them. They decided to take a look at the picture.
"Ha! Nailed it." said Anne relieved.
"This one is for the album." said Charlie.
When they looked at the picture on the phone screen. They saw that one of Anne's eyes was glowing red while Charlie looked like his eyes turned completely white in the picture like he was possessed by a ghost.
"Oh, wait. This photo's kinda jank." said Anne being the first to notice.
"Why are my eyes all white? I look like I've been possessed on an episode of a haunting." said Charlie scratching his head.
They saw the screen on her phone turn a vibrant purple and a purple looking spirit came out of the phone and looked like it came out from the eye that Anne had in a different color from the picture. The three humans saw it looked like a purple ghost that was the size of a softball.
Anne, Charlie and Marcy screamed and waved their hands at it to shoo it away and it floated off to a different part of the room. But than they saw the floor or the water beneath them glowing a purple light as the room shook like an earthquake like tremor. They saw various types of other spirits coming from the coffins and from the water which left everyone in the room which Anne was not sure what to call these creatures or spirits or what ever these unknown spirits are.
"What the heck are these things?" asked Anne starting to panic.
"Where's Egon when you need him." said Charlie loosing his cool.
They turned around and saw a larger spirit coming from the coffin behind them and it had four large crab like pincers. They let out a started scream. They backed away from the coffin and attempted to reach the exit.
"Hey, they're actually kinda cute." said Sprig about to touch one.
"Sprig, don't touch it!" Marcy cried.
"Look!" Anne pointed to one.
They all turned to see one of the ghosts floating and it had what looked like some bones inside it's see threw body and the bones rapidly broke up into pieces and disappeared completely like it digested the bones in seconds.
"Holy shit!" cried Charlie.
"They're gonna eat our bones." screamed Polly in horror.
"Just like that boneless chicken commercial." cried Charlie.
"Forget this. We're losers. We lose." said Sprig in a panic.
As Sprig and Polly ran out of there screaming. That's when the three humans started to back up towards the exit while they looked on in horror of these ghostly like creatures.
"Let's get the fuck outta here before we become a ghost story! Who ya gonna call? Someone else." shouted Charlie.
"I don't get it. Are they aliens? Ghosts?" asked Anne not sure what to call these creatures.
"Does it matter? Let's get outta here, Scoob." said Marcy taking hold of Anne's arm.
"Roger that. Wait, what did you just call me?" asked Anne almost about to laugh.
They heard a ghostly moan from behind them and saw a white ghost like jelly looking creature floating towards them as they screamed. They saw it coming from the exit they came in from. Sprig and Polly called to them from another exit and that's when they all ran out of the room and ran down the hallway with them ghostly figures floating after them.
They ran down one hallway and stopped as they saw another hall of mirrors but they looked like huge vanity flip mirrors. Some of them had a small crack on them.
"Man, someone really loves mirrors." said Anne taking notice.
"Doesn't seven years of bad luck mean anything to anyone?" Charlie stated.
They looked back and saw them ghostly figures gaining on them which they ran down the hall of mirrors. But when they ran, the ghosts didn't follow them but they phased out through the floor. They turned another corner and ran through a room full of growing plants that didn't need sunlight. Marcy stopped to take notice but Anne took hold of her arm and they ran off.
They ran down a hallway but a destroyed painting distracted Sprig but Polly pulled him away from it quickly as they all continued to run and they found the stairs that led up but this staircase they went up was different yet when they reached the top. They reached the wooden door that they possibly came from. They tried to push the door open.
"Come on, put your backs into it." cried Anne.
"Let me at this fucking door." cried Charlie.
Charlie came to the door and in one swift punch was when he punched the door open with a powerful swing of his fist.
"Show us the hole in the wall!" said Charlie.
When they entered the room. They realized that the door led to Marcy's room. But they decided not to question it as they got out and slammed the wooden door shut. All of them panting as they thought the danger was over.
"Any second longer down there and I'd piss my pants." panted Charlie.
"Oh, thank goodness that's..." Anne began.
But their relief was cut short when they saw them ghostly figures phasing through the door they came from and all were screaming in horror.
"We should've never gone down into the basement! Every horror film shows it's a bad idea!" screamed Charlie.
They all backed up and were thinking that this might be it but Anne took hold of a book when she bumped into a dresser drawer. She took hold of it and tossed it at the ghost as a form of a weapon.
"Take this, you overgrown gummy worm." cried Anne.
The book she tossed went straight through the heads of one of the ghosts. They all tried throwing books at the ghosts but it wasn't working at all. Every book they threw at them just went through them like a solid object that goes through a hologram.
"This isn't working. Why are the books passing right through them?." stated Marcy.
"Maybe they prefer audiobooks." cried Anne in panicked sarcasm.
"Mommy! Mommy! I want my mommy!" screamed Charlie in fright.
Anne took out one of the silly string dispensers she used before and tried to spray one of them with silly string but it too failed to ward them off as it went straight through them. The silly string landed on a mirror that Sprig was carrying. One of them ghosts looked at the mirror once the silly string slipped off the mirror and it let out a whale like moan but than a flash of light shined inside, causing them to close their eyes from it's brightness as it let out an animal like shriek.
But than they opened their eyes once the light faded and they saw one of them ghosts look like it turned from phantom form to a solid form. One of them turned solid and looked like a slightly dark purple fish like creature that landed on the floor in a thud. That's when they all suddenly gotten an idea when Anne grabbed a pillow and swung it at the now solid figure, smacking it over it's face to knock it out. They all looked on in confusion. How did it turn from phantom to solid?
"It's physical? But how?" asked Marcy.
They turned to see the mirror that Sprig was holding and they suddenly remembered something that Marcy said when they went down the first hall of mirrors. Mirrors warding off some malevolent spirits. A light suddenly turned on inside their heads.
"The mirrors." said the humans in unison.
"Both hallways to the crypt were filled with mirrors." said Anne remembering.
"It looks like the refraction of their own light turns these creatures physical." said Marcy getting an idea. "which means..."
Anne suddenly turned to grab hold of some mirrors and an idea came to mind.
"Quick, everyone, grab a mirror." Anne instructed.
She tossed a mirror to everyone and they caught which ever mirror they could grab. They each used a mirror to shine a refraction of light at every ghost which turned them all solid and once solid, that's when Charlie was in full battle mode.
"Who ya gonna call? Call Matsuda!" shouted Charlie powerfully.
Charlie charged after each and every now solid formed ghost that was in the room and landed rapid punch and kick after punch and kick like he was a karate master. He would bounce off the walls like Polly would and each time he bounced off the walls, he landed another hard punch or kick to the creatures. Anne, Marcy, Sprig and Polly were wide eyed with amazement at how Charlie was giving these creatures a beat down as he would grab a hold of some of the small creatures and tossed them down the door like a basketball player making a basket to score, but the bigger ones, he swung them by their tails to launch them down there. Marcy was seeing Charlie's battle skills in action and Charlie was really fast.
"Hulk smash!" cried Charlie.
Charlie managed to get the final creature tossed down the hole and than that's when Polly placed a mirror over the now closed door with a mirror the size of the door and Marcy pushed a comfortable brown chair over it. They barricaded the door enough to keep it closed since there wasn't a lock on it and no key to lock it.
"The paranormal has nothing on us." panted Charlie.
They took a few minutes to catch their breath as they had been running and been in a state of mass fear had them feeling like they ran a marathon. Marcy was leaning on the seat that she used to barricade the door.
"So, anyone think they're going to be able to sleep after that terrifying experience?" asked Marcy with a grin.
"Nope." said Sprig.
"Nuh-uh." Polly answered.
"Oh, heck, nah." Anne replied.
They all looked at Charlie who was the only one who didn't say anything in response. He was now looking tired like the rest of them, something about his exhaustion made him look as though he was an old man from the face.
"Scary films are nothing compared to the night we had experienced." said Charlie with no emotion. "And can we keep it between us that I cried for mother?"
"You got it." promised everyone in unison.
They all walked over to the bed in the room and wrapped each other up in a big blanket. They sat there in the bed. Huddled up together. Marcy and Sprig sat on the right side of the bed while Anne and Polly were on the left. Charlie was in between Anne and Marcy while Anne and Charlie held each other in their arms.
As they waited, it wasn't long till the sun had risen and the sound of an alarm clock buzzing was heard from Marcy's phone. The phone was showing it was six in the morning. Anne was rubbing Charlie's chest and belly as if to soothe him from any fear or to calm his body from a sickness. He didn't mind that Anne was rubbing his chest and belly as he was too tired to even be embarrassed or to blush.
"Welp, we did it." said Sprig.
"We stayed awake all night." said Polly exhausted.
"My first sleepover in my entire life and it was like nothing Sasha told me." said Charlie sounding like he grew old.
"Oh, I still have so many questions. What were those things? What's the deal with the basement? And if those were really ghosts, is there actually an afterlife?" Marcy asked while rambling.
Both Anne and Charlie were now wide eyed at what Marcy asked. The questions she asked sounded very ominous and creepy.
"I didn't even think about that." said Anne and Charlie together.
"Well, one thing's for sure. That sleepover was amazing." said Sprig feeling triumph.
"It was the best." said Polly victoriously.
"Best ride of my life. But never let me have too much sugar again. So many headaches and stomachaches." said Charlie blushing.
"We can try but we can't make any promises." said Anne reassuring him.
Anne, Charlie and Marcy each gave each other a fist bump and Sprig reached over to grab that black notebook that had read "Book of Losers" written on it. He opened it with a disappointed face.
"I just wish I didn't have to add my name to the Book of Losers." sighed Sprig sadly.
After Sprig written his name in the book. Polly took hold of the pen and blew a raspberry in disappointment.
"Me either." said Polly writing her name in the book.
Anne was feeling a sense of pity for Sprig and Polly. Even Charlie was feeling pity as he knew that they were not the only ones that bailed out of the dare. Sure, Sprig and Polly were the first to run, but the rest of them ran with them when the challenge became too dangerous to continue. Anne took hold of the pen to write her name in there too.
"Hand me that pen. You're not the only losers. I was scared outta my mind." said Anne with a grin.
After Anne written her name in the book, she gave the pen to Marcy and she written her name in the book. Afterwards, Charlie decided to write his name in there too.
"I nearly had an accident in my pants and from all that cake. I'm surprised I didn't poop a brick or two." chuckled Charlie.
"Me too. It's not the first time either." said Marcy.
Polly, Sprig and Charlie looked at Marcy and Anne when Marcy told them this wasn't their first time doing the scare dare challenge.
"For real?" asked Polly in disbelief.
"Have a look." said Marcy.
Sprig reached out to flip through a page and he flipped through at least three pages and they all had Anne and Marcy's names written in there along with small drawings of random animals and inanimate objects. Sprig, Polly and even Charlie were in disbelief.
"Whoa. Your names are in here a bunch of times." said Sprig surprised.
"Yep, the only one brave enough to never get in the book was Sasha." said Marcy.
The thrilled looks on Marcy, Anne and Charlie's faces faded into slight sadness. The very mentioning of Sasha had the three human children worried about Sasha. Charlie even wondered where she could be after what happened between them.
"We have to find her, guys. We need to make things right." said Anne.
"I got to do the same. Despite the fact me and Sasha had a fight and things went a bit far. I want her to be here with us. Safe, alive, and enjoying life." said Charlie.
"We will, guys. I just know it." Marcy promised.
Before any of them could think another thought, speak another word or do anything else. They heard a knocking coming from the door. They looked at the door and screamed, pulling the blanket over them to cover themselves as if to hide from a monster. But the doors opened and it was Lady Olivia standing there. She looked annoyed and she had what looked like a small beard drawn on her chin with the words "Polly Wuz Here" written on the bottom of her eyelids.
"Rise and shine, kids." said Olivia looking tired but annoyed. "Because of you, I barely slept a wink last night and I was unable to dream about a tall, muscular, long haired, handsome man like Char- I mean dreaming of counting sheepflies to orchestrated music. Ugh, well, whatever. It's go time. Your audience with King Andrias is about to begin. Get ready!"
She slammed the double doors shut and stormed off but little did they know. She was blushing as she walked down the hallway and down a flight of stairs.
"The only one out of the group that's a very big sweetheart is that male human. What a handsome devil." Olivia thought to herself with a grin.
The kids in the room were laughing by now as they knew this was the best night of their lives if not scary as a horror film that reached an "R" rating or higher.
"Okay guys, let's not mess with Lady Olivia anymore. Polly, put the pen down." chuckled Charlie while advising them to leave the lady newt alone.
"What? I wasn't gonna." lied Polly with a grin. "Okay, ya caught me."
As they laughed it off. Somewhere in Amphibia. There was a a location at an abandoned windmill and Sasha was having the case of the hiccups for unknown reasons. Braddock was attempting to try and cure her hiccups by having Sasha drink some water.
"Tell me how did she get the hiccups again?" asked Captain Grime looking confused.
"We don't know. She just suddenly began hiccuping uncontrollably." said Braddock.
Sasha swallowed down enough water to fill a cup or two. She appeared annoyed but was blushing deeply.
"I have no idea -hic- how this happened -hic- or what or -hic- why. But this -hic- really sucks -hic-." said Sasha between hiccups.
"Maybe someone ya know is talking about ya? I had some aunts and uncles that would burp, fart, hiccup or twitch when someone they knew was talking about them when ever they were not in the same room or location." Percy made a guess.
"Did it ever -hic- skip a generation?" asked Sasha.
"Sometimes." answered Percy. "Maybe Anne or Charlie are talking about you in some context or maybe it's possible you miss them?"
Sasha shown a cold expression on her face and got up from where she sat and she shot Percy a warning look which made him go silent, blush and smile nervously.
"Or maybe not?" Percy denied.
Sasha sighed and shown a saddened expression.
"Percy, I doubt that last guess is possible -hic- now if you'll excuse me. I -hic- got to take a -hic- got to use the -hic- gonna use the toilet -hic- ." said Sasha with a hiccuping fit.
Sasha went off to the back of the windmill's room where they designated a spot for them to use the bathroom like they've done before. Sasha's hiccuping was starting to lessen and ease up but her hiccups were taking some time to dissipate.
Sasha was pulling out her phone and scrolled through pictures of her phone and the pictures she was scrolling through were pictures of Anne and Charlie. She blushed deeply and felt a mix of anger, vengeance, sadness, and conflicting longing. She didn't know which emotion she should feel.
