A scream pierced the evening sky as a pale woman with stringy hair twisted her limbs around and around in an inhuman manner. Several people desperately tried to hold her down as she began to steadily float to the ceiling, cackling demonically as she did so. A priest sprayed holy water on the specter as he yelled out, "UNGODLY CREATURE OF HELL, I DEMAND YOU TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT FROM THIS CHILD OF GOD". The floating woman hissed as the water burned her skin, "foolish mortal, isn't it obvious? What I want...IS. HER. SOUL, HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH-"

"Oi! When's this shit over? It's boring", A young man with messy dark brown hair and a deadpan expression leaned further into the sofa he was lounging on and sighed. The blonde woman and small child sitting next to him both gave him dirty looks, "Shh, leave if you do not want to watch the movie".

The young Oga family was spending a lazy Friday evening watching a horror movie marathon on TV. Although Oga Tatsumi thoroughly enjoyed the gory slasher movies that were on earlier, this current spiritual drama was NOT his cup of tea. He did not understand why the priest did not just throttle the demon until it left the woman alone. It's like, literally so simple, the fuck?

He sighed again as he glanced at his companions. Both Hilda and Beel were enraptured by the CGI-filled spectacle on screen. He wondered why they were so fascinated, considering both were literal demons. Instead of a horror movie, wouldn't this be like a documentary or something? It was basically just as boring as one. Hell, the ghastly faces of Hilda's croquettes were more terrifying than this shit.

"Hilda"

No response.

"Hiiiiiilda"

Still no response.

"Hiiiiiiiil-"

"Gah! What do you WANT, sewer rat?"

"I was just wondering, how much of this is true? Do you guys really go around possessing people for their souls? Possession sounds like a lot of work, to be honest. And for what? Does every demon want a soul? Lol can you imagine Lamia trying to scare som- AHHHH!, FUCK". Oga's ramble was cut off by his son's exasperated electric shock.

"First of all, idiot, Lamia is more than capable of getting whatever she wants from whoever she needs. Second of all, it's not so much of a need as it is a bonus. It's not hard work at all, in fact, just like I mentioned last Christmas...we can take your soul at any time", the beautiful blonde woman smirked as she nuzzled the top of her young master's head. Oga scoffed as he turned away from the two demons, "tch, you ain't taking shit"

The movie was over at this point, and ended happily, much to the chagrin of the entire family.

"See? I told you it was boring. I knew it was gonna end like that. Anyway, how do you guys take souls? You can't seriously think I would fall for any of those dumb tricks, huh?"

Hilda laughed as she lifted Beel high up into the air, much to the three year old's delight, "Oh young master, I still do not understand why you chose this dolt of man. We've been here over a year and he still doesn't understand anything. Shall we go to bed, darling?"

"I ain't your fucking darling, bitch"

The maid's large green eye(s) darted to the young man's beady dark ones, searching for something as a tentative smile bloomed on her lips, "I was referring to the young master, Tatsumi".

If Oga was the type of person to have any sense of embarrassment, he would have blushed as he followed the pretty maidservant upstairs. They got ready for bed in silence, each wrapped up in their own thoughts.

Hilda leaned over to give Beel a kiss before she headed towards the door, "Good night, young master, I'll see you tomorrow". The child cooed at her as Oga glared, "Oi, so you're not gonna answer my question?". The blonde glanced over her shoulder with a smirk, "Why should we waste energy trying to terrify you into handing over your soul? That's tacky, especially for a prince. There are other ways, Tatsumi, many other ways". With a flip of her hair, the maid left the bedroom, leaving Oga in complete darkness, both literally and figuratively. 'Other ways? The fuck? That bitch is crazy if she thinks I'd run from anything she does, pffft, I ain't scared of shit'.

Then again...didn't the young delinquent feel genuine fear when Amnesia Hilda, with her free-flowing hair, wide eyes, and blushing face, asked him what was it about her that he didn't like? Didn't he literally run away that night? And wasn't he absolutely terrified when Beel was forced to decide between him and his biological mother? Furthermore...didn't Oga Tatsumi give up the perfect, once-in-a-lifetime chance to be free of this demon infestation, during that mess with the time machine? The young man thought back to that moment in the car, when time seemed to completely stop.

"If you want, you can make it so that none of this ever happened...So what will you do?". That's what Hilda had said, right? He remembered that moment in the car in perfect detail, as if it was a photograph burned into his mind. The young blonde woman with her placid face and clear eye(s). Her expression was unreadable, even as she held her breath in anticipation of his answer. The child on her lap, with his tiny hands clutching her arms as he stared into Oga's soul. He remembered the golden light of sunset washing over them...his child, and the mother of his child. He remembered the perspiration falling down his face as terrifying new feelings wrapped around his heart and squeezed something deep inside of him, prompting him to murmur the words that had sealed his fate, "As if...you even needed to ask..."

Laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling, Oga Tatsumi's face burned in the darkness as he came to a faint realization, "...fuck"

They already had him, those two, they had him mind, body, and soul.
