He was supposed to make it back. He was supposed to save the city and return to STAR Labs for his victory party. But Barry knew there was a chance he wouldn't make it and needed to let everyone know his story.

I enjoyed the CW's Heroes vs. Aliens crossover event immensely, but I feel the narrative could have been filled out or better told at certain points. This story is a collection of deleted and alternate scenes to address those points. It's also less of an "Arrow x Supergirl" crossover and more of an "Arrowverse x Supergirl" crossover. Rated K-plus for occasional language.

Oliver keeps his promise to Kara to help train the new hero, Guardian. This is a sequel to "An Unexpected Request."

Barry Allen gets hurt in Starling City and doesn't have time to get home to S.T.A.R Labs so he goes to the Arrow cave instead.

And now the anchor has been opened, waiting for him but still, the younger Salvatore made no attempt to reach it. He looked at Damon. And finally he said, "No. I'm not going back." Damon's eyes sparked in anger. What will the older brother do?

This is a tribute to the death of Stefan Salvatore. I wanted to explore what I know the show will not in this scenario: As Elena and Damon are fleeing Mystic Falls, the psychic connection between Stefan and Elena forces her to Mystic Falls where her worst fears are confirmed.
