With the help of a returning Kyoko, Ben and his allies learn that Zapdos returned to Mt. Layuda where another Golden Armor piece likely is located. With the aid of UlforceVeedramon and Gallantmon, they hurry to the mountain in hopes of claiming it before Team One World.

One by one the dragons and knights dashed through the sky at incredible speed. Keith, Kate and Kellyn were nearly thrown off by how fast they were going. It didn't take long for them to reach the area with darkened skies. "Lighting will come in at any moment." Summer warned. "Stay sharp everyone!"

"Right!"

And shortly after the first bolt came down dangerously close to Omnimon. Nokia screamed as it boomed near. "Hang on Nokia! Stay strong!"

Gallantmon barely blocked one with his shield and his arm still felt the force. "It's almost as it this storm is sentient and aiming for us! Is this Zapdos' will to chase away intruders?!"

"Keith your name was, yes? Better hold on tight!" UlforceVeedramon said before picking up speed.

"You don't have to tell me twice!"

Latios and Latias soared ahead swerving left and right to evade lightning with the knights tailing behind. The island came into their view. "When we see the island just land wherever you can!" Ben said. "Don't fuss over where on the island that is!"

Just then a bolt hit Gallantmon in the back. He grunted in pain and Kellyn nearly fell off. "Gallantmon!"

"We need to land now!" Omnimon said. Just then a bolt of lighting hit him making him lose altitude.

"O-Omnimon, hang in there!" Nokia yelped.

"Follow me!" Ben led Latios to a wide open space near the bottom of the mountain. One by one the fliers landed. Omnimon and Gallantmon came crashing into the ground. When they did Omnimon broke apart into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.

"Gallantmon! Omnimon!" UlforceVeedramon hurried over to them.

"Hey, Kellyn, Kate, Nokia are you alright?!" Keith asked as he climbed down.

"Yeah…We'll pull through." The Kate shakily replied.

"Are you two alright?" Nokia asked her Digimon.

"We're okay for the most part." WarGreymon replied. "What about you Gallantmon?"

"I'll survive…" the knight replied struggling to get up.

Everyone else came out of the Ranger's Stylers. "Man, that was messy." Arata groaned stretching out.

Ben looked at the group. "Good. Everyone's here and in one piece."

Summer looked around her. "The atmosphere seems somehow different than usual…"

"Yeah…back at Faldera Volcano, to was hotter than normal."

"Mt. Sorbet was colder than last time too…" Nokia added.

"Zapdos must be here then." Kellyn said. "And a part of the armor as well.

"Then we better hurry." MetalGarurumon replied. "Gallantmon, can you proceed?"

The knight grunted as he struggled to stand. "Loth as I am to admit it…I don't think I can…You'd best go without me. I fear I'd only slow you down like this."

"I'll stay here with him." UlforceVeedramon said. "You guys go find that bird."

"I guess it can't be helped." Kellyn said. "Alright, we should hurry. I doubt it would take Ice and Lavana long to find out that Zapdos has returned."

"Takumi and Ami might be here already." Yuuko said. "Let's keep an eye out as we go."

The team hurried inside the cave. But as soon as they did a large group of Team One World members were seen lying in wait for them. "Well, well, look who finally showed up."

"You've gotta be kidding." Keith groaned. "They already made it here?"

"So, tell me." A female grunt asked. "Did you come here to claim Zapdos? Or are you here for the Golden Armor?"

"You pinheads caught onto all that faster than I thought you would." Ben said.

"Either way, you're not getting to either!" One by one the area filled with Pokemon and Digimon. Five Kyubimon, five Stingmon, five Seismitoad and five Zangoose.

"That's a lot of enemies…" Yu muttered.

"Not enough to stop us." Arata said stepping forward. "Keramon, let's use this chumps to give that new Mega form a test drive."

"Okay!"

"New Mega form?" Ben asked as he saw blue aura flash around Arata.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Keramon Double Warp Digivolve to…" A blue shell formed around Keramon. Within silhouettes of Bakemon and then BlueMeramon could be seen. The it burst out as a Digimon with red hair, blue armor, a huge lance on his right arm and blue flame shaped like wings bursting from his back. "Darkdramon!"

"Wow!" Keisuke gasped. "That's different from the Digimon he had with him before!"

Yuuko scanned it. "Darkdramon. Mega Level Virus Type. Equipped with the "Gigastick Lance" that rivals even Gallantmon's Gram."

"Let's show them what we got as well." Yuugo said. Fei and Yuuko nodded.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Hagurumon Double Warp Digivolve to…HiAndromon." Yuugo's Digimon transformed into a android with a black armor and a blue head on his right shoulder and a red on his left.

"Guilmon Double Warp Digivolve to…ShineGreymon!" Yuuko's Digimon emerged with red armor that had wings, a golden skull a white body and a long tail with a sun medal on the end.

"FanBeemon Double Warp Digivolve to…Durandamon!" Fei's was now a golden Digimon with blades for arms and one on her back.

"All your Digimon have new Mega forms!" Summer gasped.

Kellyn looked at his Styler. "HiAndromon. Mega Level Vaccine Type. It possessed Chrome Digizoid its attacks are fretfully immense and accurate. Especial against Virus Types.

"ShineGreymon! A Vaccine Mega Digimon that fights with red hot solar energy!" Kate said.

Keith scanned Fei's Digimon. "Durandamon. Another Mega Level Vaccine. It honed it's sword to the best of it's ability with data on "legendary swords" and it can cut through any sort of defence."

"Mega Levels?!" One of the grunts shuddered. "Urk…this is more trouble than we bargained for…"

"Well then, let's show em what we can do, yeah?" Chitose grinned.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Patamon Digivolve to…Angemon!"

"Armadillomon Digivolve to…Ankylomon!"

"Otamamon Digivolve to…Gekomon!"

"Tentomon Warp Digivolve to…MegaKabuterimon!"

"Monodramon Warp Digivolve to…Cyberdramon!"

"Wow…" Yu gasped looking at Keisuke's Digimon.

Keisuke grinned at Ryuji. "So, you're Digimon hit the next level."

Ryuji smirked back. "Same with yours."

Date turned to Matayoshi. "Hey, we can't let those kids have all the action!"

"Ha! Too true Date! Guess it's time to show them what we're made of." Matayoshi took out his Digivice. It glowed a bright green and a screen appeared before him.

DIGIVOLUTION

He touched it and the screen turned the same shade of green before emanating light on Biyomon.

"Biyomon Digivolve to…" A shell of built light cocooned Matayoshi's Digimon before bursting. A bigger bird in orange flame emerged. "Birdramon!"

"Whoa ho! Looking good sir!" Chitose scanned the Digimon. "Birdramon. Champion Level Vaccine. Supposedly it was generated from the internet's defensive firewall."

"And now for our party trick!" Date took out her Digivice as a pink aura glowed around her.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Lopmon Double Warp Digivolve to…Kerpymon!"

"Alright, let's crush these losers!"

"Attack!" One of the Team One World members ordered. Two of the Stingmon jumped forward.

"Spiking Strike!" purple needles extended from the gauntlets on their right arms as they lunged forward.

"Meteor Wing!" Birdramon flapped his wings and bright fireballs were shot from them. One of the Stingmon flew around the attacks while the other was blasted by the blaze. It shattered into shards that were collected by Matayoshi's Digivice.

The other one continued to rush forward. "Atomic Ray." Golden electricity sparked from HiAndromon's shoulders and formed a beam that was fired into it, destroying the target.

"Will-o'-Wisp!" two of the Kyubimon's multiple tails spread out and blue flames appeared at their tips. They fired towards ShineGreymon.

"GeoGrey Sword!" Yuuko's Digimon held his hand forward and a double edge duel blade appeared in his hand. He spun it repeatedly to block the attacks before coming in and slashing both of them apart with a swift spin.

"Dark Roar!" Darkdramon shot three of the Seismitoad with a black sphere fired from his lance. It detonated and knocked them out. Keith and Kate were whirling their Stylers around the other two as Kellyn, Summer and Ben captured three Zangoose.

"Zwei Glanze!" Durandamon held her arms in a cross formation and they glowed blue. She swung them and a x shaped flame ingulfed two more Stingmon.

"Horn Buster!"

"Desolation Claw!" Keisuke and Ryuji's Digimon whipped out two more Kyubimon.

"Heaven's Knuckle!" Angemon fired a gold laser into another Zangoose.

"Tail Hammer!" Ankylomon hit it while it was weakened to knock it out.

"Symphony Crusher!" Gekomon emitted a strange sound at the last Zangoose and Stingmon, stopping them in their tracks.

"Heaven's Judgment!" Kerpymon waved his hands down and a series of lightning bolts came down, everywhere, striking both of them down.

"Ha, ha! That's the last of them!" Yu laughed.

"Urk…" One of the Team One World grunts backed up. "I thought it would be tough to face off with the Cyber Rangers of Oblivia…but these newbies are pretty good too…"

"Don't get cocky you brats!" another one scowled. "We have troops all over this mountain! You'll never get to Zapdos, so just turn around and go home!" With that they retreated deeper into the cave.

"That sent them packing." Keith said.

"But did you hear what they said?" Yuuko asked. "They must have been here for a while now. I'm worried about Takumi and Ami."

As if on que, Nokia heard a ding from her Digivice. She took it out and opened Digiline. "It's Takumi!" Everyone gathered around her as she read the message aloud. "Sorry we're running late. Ami and I were slowed down by members of One World Ice and Lavana sent to ambush us. On our way now."

"Tell them to be carful." Yuugo said. "Team One World already has this place under their control."

"And tell them if they're late they can't complain if we steal the show before they arrive!" Keith grinned.

"Will do!" Nokia nodded and started typing. "Team One World…is everywhere here…Be carful and don't be late again!" Send! There."

"Alright. Let's keep going." Matayoshi said. "Takumi and Ami will be met up with us later. We'll see how deep a hole we can dig into their forces on our own in the meantime."

"Sounds like a plan." Ben nodded. "Follow me." He led the team up some steps and towards a tunnel leading outside.

As soon as she heard a boom Nokia shuddered. "Oh no…this part…"

"What's wrong?" Kellyn asked.

They stepped outside to where the large pool of water was with small spots of dry land. "Hey we're outside again." Kate said. "What's so bad about-

"Wait for it." Ben said holding the team up. A bolt of lighting struck the water, electrifying it.

"Oh…"

Ben turned to the team. "Lightning strikes the water every few seconds. If you're not on one of those dry spots when it hits, you're fried."

"So much for lighting never hitting the same place twice." Yu groaned.

Nokia shuddered. "Erk…Takumi really helped me here last time…But I don't know if I can do this again…"

WarGreymon put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Nokia. We're right here."

MetalGarurumon nodded. "That's right! We'll keep you safe!"

Matayoshi counted the people in his group. "Okay, everyone put your Digimon and Pokemon away. We'll go in groups of four. Let's see…how about Ryuji, Date, Chitose and I go first."

"Okay, just don't yurt yourselves." Yu replied.

Matayoshi, Ryuji, Chitose and Date stood at the edge of the dry land. "Wait for the next bolt to come down." Ben said. "They go off every few seconds."

"Right." Matayoshi stood still as the next bolt of lightning struck. They watched electricity scatter through the water before it died down. "Now! Go!" The four of them ran across the water and reached the first platform. Chtiose was the last to stop and bumped into Date, making her stumble forward.

"Hey! Whoa!" Then the lightning came down and as she started to tip forward the water buzzed with electricity. Just as she started to fall something caught her arm and pulled her back. She looked behind her to see Ryuji holding her hand.

"That was close. You okay?"

Date's face reddened as she fell into a daze. "Y-yeah…"

Matayoshi glared at Chitose. "Watch what you're doing, will ya?!"

"Sorry!"

Gallantmon was sitting against a rock as UlforceVeedramon stood nearby with his arms crossed. "That wild storm is unlike anything I've ever seen." UlforceVeedramon said looking up. "The good news is I don't think Team One World will reach this place easily."

"That also applies to Takumi and Ami." Gallantmon replied. UlforceVeedramon nodded. "But trust me my friend. Humans tend to surpass expectations of them. I wouldn't be surprised if they really did find a way."

"Hmm?" UlforceVeedramon squinted as he saw something in the sky. "Something's heading this way."

"Is it them?"

"I can't tell…Wait…"

Two Digimon flew towards them. Black MetalGarurumon with Dianamon close behind. And on the former was a masked ridder with the latter carrying another masked character. The Royal Knights watched BlackMetalGarurumon land on the ground nearby. Dianamon came to a halt near him.

Gallantmon slowly stood up, trying to hide his pain as he looked at the riders. "Blue and red cloaks and masks shaped like Latios and Latias…You must be X and Zero."

X and Zero did not reply as they stepped onto the ground. They then glanced around the area. "I hear you two are after the Golden Armor." UlforceVeedramon said. "You seem to have different plans from Team One World…But what do you plan to do with something so dangerous?"

X looked at the Royal Knights and chuckled. Then he spoke in a different voice form before. It was clearer. "Nice to see you too."

"Is that how you treated Ben and Summer when you reunited with them after so long?" Zero giggled. Her voice was also different.

UlforceVeedramon gasped. "You're…!"

Gallantmon's eyes widened. "It can't be…!"

Once everyone crossed the body of water they soon at the entrance of another cave. "Okay…we're going deeper in." Ben said.

"Thank goodness." Nokia sighed in relief. "It'll be much safer inside."

Summer looked around. "Ben…you noticed it too, right?"

"Yeah. Not a single wild Pokemon in sight."

"I can't imagine anything, Pokemon, Digimon, human or otherwise living here." Yu said.

"But there were Pokemon around the last time we were here." WarGreymon said.

"Hey, you're right." Nokia said. "Where did they all go? You don't think Team One World nabbed them all, do you?"

"But there were Pokemon at Mt. Sorbet." Kellyn said.

"Faldera Volcano to." Ryuji nodded. "Why would they only take the ones here?"

"A good question but we can ponder it latter." Yuugo replied. "If we stay here twiddling our thumbs, Team One World will capture Zapdos and take the Golden Armor before we can get there."

"Yuugo's right." Arata nodded. "Let's hurry."

"Okay." Ben started walking towards the cave. "Follow me." He led them inside the cave. But when they stepped inside, they came face to face with eight members of Team One World.

"Ugh…I'm getting seriously sick of these bozos." Chitose groaned.

One of them chuckled as he stepped forward. "Sorry. But we were already well prepared for your arrival. This is our last line of defence to stop you from getting to Zapdos. We'll face you with everything we got." They all held up strange gadgets. Eight Kuwagamon and eight Decidueye appeared.

"Good grief." Matayoshi groaned. "You brats have all these Pokemon and Digimon and use them for the stupidest things imaginable?"

"What was that old man?!" one of the members growled.

"Start by attacking that geezer!" Another said pointing at the detective. "Make sure he never speaks again!"

"Here they come sir." Birdramon said as the swarm flew towards him.

"Guess it's time to bring out my big gun." Matayoshi's eyes and Digivice started to glow a bright green.

Date stepped back. "S-sir?"

DIGIVOLUTION

Matayoshi held up his Digivice and the light flew up before crashing down into Birdramon, forming a shell. "Birdramon Digivolve to…" He emerged as a bigger bird with buff arms, a red mask and blond hair. "Garudamon!"

"Wow!" Ben gasped. "Matayoshi's Digimon already hit Ultimate Level?!"

"Shadow Wing!" A blaze surrounded Garudamon that formed a phoenix flame that flew at the enemy Pokemon and Digimon. A Decidueye and two Kuwagamon that couldn't get away in time were engulfed in fire. The two Digimon were destroyed and absorbed into Matayoshi's Digivice and the Pokemon dropped to the ground.

One of the gang members scowled. "He's tough for a old guy…"

Kate scanned it. "Garudamon, Ultimate Level Vaccine Digimon! It's sharp talons and wings let it dance freely in the sky and honors justice and order as a guardian deity of the land and wind!"

Keith grinned at the detective. "You sneaky old man! You were holding back in case something like this happened, weren't you?"

"This guy isn't one of the Cyber Rangers!" Another member growled. "Who the heck is he?!"

Matayoshi grinned. "I'm Gorou Matayoshi, Violent Crimes Squad #1, Cyber Crimes Investigation Unit, Metropolitan Police Department. Commonly known as the "Shinjuku Matagi." Don't you forget it."

"What the heck is a Shinjuku Matagi?! Argh, whatever! You wanna play rough?!" Suddenly their visors glowed purple, one by one.

"Oh, I'm not liking the looks of this." Arata scowled.

DIGIVOLUTION

Their gadgets fired lights at the Kuwagamon. "Kuwagamon Digivolve to…Okuwamon!"

"They Digivolved their Digimon!" Yuuko gasped.

"Tch! So those gadgets don't just control Digimon!" Fei noted.

"These Controlvices allow us to do whatever you Heroes can and more!" one of them grinned. "Now get them!"

"Thunder Fall!" The Digimon howled and bolts of lightning came down.

"This is getting intense!" Chitose said. "Hey Nokia! Any chance you can bring out the big guy?"

Nokia looked behind her. "WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon! Have you recovered enough strength?"

"I think so." MetalGarurumon replied.

"Either way we've got to try!" WarGreymon added.

"Okay!" Nokia reached for her Digivice.

"Oh no you don't!" One of the One World members yelled. "Spirit Shackle!"

Two of the Decidueye soared over everyone and shot a arrow each. One went for Ryuji, the other flew towards Nokia. "Look out!" Yuugo yelled.

Ryuji and Nokia stepped back and the arrows landed right in front of their feet. "That was close…" Nokia said.

"Nokia! Omnimon!" Summer said.

"Right! I'm- Nokia stayed frozen in place. "Wh-what's happening?!"

Yuuko turned to her friend. "Nokia?"

"I…can't move!"

"Same here." Ryuji grunted.

Keisuke looked at the arrows that were shot at them. "What? Ryuji! Nokia! Your shadows!" Both Ryuji and Nokia looked down. The arrows landed on their shadows which looked like they were tangled in purple chains.

"What's going on?!"

"Spirit Shackle…" Kellyn groaned. "A troublesome move. It traps the target by pinning their shadow to the ground."

"How the heck do you pin down something like a shadow?!" Nokia yelled still struggling to move.

"Desolation Claw!" Cyberdramon fired at the two the Decidueye that fired the arrows, but they flew away.

"Double Scissor Claw!" One of the Okuwamon took the opening to slam its pinchers into Cyberdramon. He roared in pain as he was crushed before it threw him aside and set its sights on Ryuji.

"Ryuji, look out!" Chitose ran over to him and pulled the arrow off his shadow before pushing him down. The Okuwamon slammed Chitose to the ground.

Ryuji quickly sat up as the Digimon stomped over to his downed friend. "Chitose!"

Okuwamon roared as it leered down at Chitose. "No!" Angemon swooped in and rammed into its head, making it stumble to the side.

"Tail Hammer!" Ankylomon rammed his mace into it making it stumble back. Both of Chitose's Digimon stood in front of him. "Back off now if you know what what's goo for you!"

"Good for you." Angemon whispered.

"Good for you!"

"Uh guys?" Chitose asked. "Isn't that thing a level above both of you?"

"Even so…" Angemon said. "If we perish here…"

"We won't let that happen to our partner!" Ankylomon nodded.

"Heh…Thanks you two." Chitose chuckled standing up. "Okay! I'm ready for round 2!" Suddenly both of Chitose's Digimon glowed orange. As did his eyes and his Digivice. "Whoa, what's going on now?!" He looked at the screen.

DNA DIGIVOLUTION

"Chitose…you're Digimon are ready to Digivolve again!" Ryuji said.

Chitose held the screen towards his Digimon.

"Ankylomon…"

"Angemon…"

Angemon stood on Ankylomon's back and they both glowed brighter. An orange shell of light formed around them. "DNA Digivolve to…" they emerged together as a colossal silver statue with wings and red lines through the center of his eyes. "Shakkoumon!"

"Whoa!" Ben gasped. "Just like what Nokia can do with her Digimon!"

"DNA Digivolution…" Nokia looked at the Digimon in awe. "This is Chitose's Digimon's greatest power…from back then…"

Arata looked at his Digivice. "Shakkoumon. Ultimate Level Free Type. A theory says it is an Angel Digimon that descended to the Digital World. And despite it's expressionless face it's personality is said to be gentle."

"Awesome!" Chitose grinned. "I bet we can turn the tables big time with this guy on our side!"

"Don't get your hopes up!" one of the One World Members growled. "Attack it!"

Okuwamon charged at the new Digimon. "Double Scissor Claw!"

"Disaster Blaster!" Shakkoumon shot red beams from his eyes that pierced through the Digimon, shattering it. The shards went to Chitose's Digivice.

"I thought you said that thing was supposed to be gentle!" the One World goon yelled at Arata.

"Hey, take it up with the theory, not me." He replied, pointing at his Digivice.

"Alright, now we're getting somewhere!" Chitose grinned.

"Saint Knuckle!"

"Nanomachine Break!" Darkdramon and ShineGreymon each punched a Decidueye. The were flung back but recovered in mid air only for Starly and Staraptor to ram into them and knock them to the ground. Kate and Summer then captured them.

"Six down. Ten to go." Summer said.

"Megatron Hydro Laser!" beam of high-pressure water blasted Krepymon from behind, knocking him down.

"What was that?!" Keith yelled. They turned around to the cave entrance they came from where JumboGamemon stood. A blue haired, cackling man stood nearby.

"Ice!" Kellyn glared.

"So that's Ice." Yuuko said. "One of Team One World's commanders."

"Don't forget about me." A woman said entering with her Delphox.

"Lavana too?!" Ryuji growled.

"Commander Ice! Commander Lavana!" The One World members saluted. "These intruders are strong! We're throwing all we've got at them and we're still losing!"

"Yes, I can see that." Lavana sighed.

"Now, now, Lavana." Ice said as he looked at the group in front of him. "Ben Natsuya. Summer Minami. Nokia Shiramine. Arata Sanada. Yuuko Kamishiro. Yuugo Kamishiro Fei Wong Tomoe Ignacio. All but two of the Cyber Rangers of are here. Those three annoying Rangers from back in Almia and another group of Digimon tamers are here too. What do you expect?"

"Meh. True. A bunch of grunts weren't going to be enough."

"This is trouble we definitely didn't need." Fei growled.

"Well, well…" Ice grinned. "For a bunch of newbs you managed to reach this island fast."

"We've been here before Brainiac, of course we know how to get here safely." Ben scoffed.

"Oh, you're anything but safe here." Lavana said as she brought out her Goldramon. Ice brought out his Avalugg.

"Great." Keith growled. "Just what we needed right now."

"We heard you're taking orders from someone." Kellyn said. "Who's ordering you nitwits around now?"

"That's for the two of us and our boss to know and you to find out." Lavana replied. "And our third Commander."

"Shush!" Ice growled elbowing her in the gut. "Don't give away any of our secrets."

Lavana winced and glared at him. "What's your problem? It's not like they stand a chance either way!"

"There's a third commander?" Ryuji asked.

"Who is it?" Kate asked. "That jerk Heith?"

"That coward?" Ice asked rolling his eyes. "Nah, we reached out to him, but he said he's staying put in the country. That incident with Darkrai must have seriously freaked him out. Now enough gab. Be a good bunch of chumps and go down nice and easy." The rest of Team One World brought out three Electabuzz and Pandamon.

The group was surrounded by enemy Pokemon and Digimon as they backed into each other. "Well, this is just swell." Arata muttered. "Anyone got any bright ideas?"

"Don't look at me." Chitose replied. "No matter what way you look at it, this is gonna get ugly."

Ice laughed as he pointed at their prey. "Destroy every last one of them!"

"Ice Wolf Claw!" Out of the blue a barrage of misses flew through the cave entrance and bombarded Ice and Lavana's Pokemon and Digimon. When they impacted, they left chunks of ice, freezing their limbs.

"Where the heck did that come from?!" Lavana asked.

"Nice shot MetalGarurumon!" Nokia grinned.

Her Digimon looked at the result of the attack in surprise. "That wasn't me…it came from outside."

"Huh?"

Just then BlackMetalGarurumon and Dianamon flew past Ice and Lavana carrying X and Zero. They dashed over to Ben and co and the tamers got off their Digimon, landing in front of them. "X! Zero!" Keisuke gasped.

"What are you two doing here?!" Yu asked.

"That's X and Zero?" Yuugo asked.

"Ben. Summer. It's good to see you again." X said as he walked over to Nokia and pulled out the arrow pinning her shadow.

"Huh?! Whoa!" Nokia was so startled that when she could move, she fell over.

Ice glared at them. "You two again!? Can't you just stay out of our hair?!"

Keith looked at Ben. "You know these guys?"

Ben, Summer, Nokia, Yuuko, Yuugo, Arata, Fei, Date and Matayoshi looked at X and Zero in shock when they heard their voices. "No flipping way…" Ben muttered. He then grinned at them. "You sly little scamps."

Summer couldn't help but smile. "I should've known."

Matayoshi laughed. "Still full of surprises I see."

Nokia was looking up at X. She smiled at first before showing an annoyed expression. "Come on…You two are so late! AGAIN!"

"Sorry about that." Zero said as she and X slowly removed the masks from their faces. "Time to start the investigation!"

"BlackMetalGarurumon!"

"Dianamon!"

"Slide Evolution!" Shells of light enveloped X and Zero's Digimon. A yellow one for BlackMetalGarurumon. A green one for Dianamon. X and Zero undid their cloaks and flipped them behind their backs, making them flow like long capes. As they did so their hoods came down for everyone to see. Red hair. Each a pair of goggles. A grey shirt and yellow pants on X. A black skirt and yellow top on Zero.

And then new Digimon emerged from their cocoons. "MegaGargomon!"

"Rosemon!"

X looked up with his blue eyes and grinned. "Cyber Sleuths on the scene!"

Aaaaaand cue "Ya Cyber Sleuth"! They're back folks! I wonder if anyone saw this coming. If anyone's wondering what the whole point of disguising the Cyber Sleuths was, I didn't want them taking up too much attention from Keisuke and Hudie before they had some time in the sun.

Fun fact, I originally was going to have "X" and "Zero" think Keisuke and his team were from team One World due to them having Digimon and have them fight with Keisuke and his team getting the upper hand until the Cyber Sleuths brought out their Mega Levels only for Ben and Summer to step in and stop the fight recognizing their Digimon, but I figured these two aren't Date, they wouldn't jump to conclusions like that.
