Kellyn, Kate, Keith and Rythmi went to the Wireless Tower to upload a Digimon scanning program, but were ambushed by One World forces. Meanwhile, the team was summoned by a person spying on One World. Lunick, Solana, Keisuke, and Yu head for Daybreak Ruins to meet them...

As his team traveled through Daybreak Ruins Lunick caught a Baltoy, a Ambipom and a Quilava. Solana caught a Natu, a Kirlia, and a Bibarel. They ventured deeper into the ruins. "Wow…" Yu said. "This place is so cool. I feel like I'm in one of those adventure stories."

Solana giggled. "You're easily excited."

"Well, you don't see a whole lot of things like this back at home, that's for sure." Keisuke said.

"There are a few areas like this in the Digital World." Kabuterimon said.

"He's right." Otamamon nodded.

"Really?" Yu asked. "Hmm…I wonder what it would be like to go to the Digital World someday. It'd be kinda lonely if I was the only human there…"

Keisuke went silent. Lunick noticed light shine in from the doorway ahead. "Look over there! Does it lead outside?"

"I haven't seen the spy yet." Solana said. "Are they up ahead?"

"Let's find out." Lunick said. "But be careful. It can still be a trap." They slowly walked outside and into the open light. They stood in the area where Ben and the others fought Entei.

And that's where the saw a lone woman, wearing the female Team One World uniform. "Ah, there you are. I know you're new to this region, but you shouldn't keep me waiting. Can't let my "superiors" get suspicious of my absence, now, can we?"

"So, you're the one spying on Team One World?" Solana asked.

"That's right."

"Man, you got guts for trying to do that on your own." Keisuke said.

"Well, Team One World has former Pokemon Pinchers in their group. You can say I'm just cleaning up my own mess."

"What do you mean?" Yu asked.

"Before I say, you boys just befriended your Digimon recently, yes?"

"Yeah, that's right."

"And you two are the Rangers who defeated Go-Rock Squad, yes?"

"How do you know about that?" Lunick asked.

"I've done my research. Before I tell you more, I would like to see what you're capable of."

"A test, huh?" Keisuke asked.

"That's right. Show me the full extent of your abilities. Digivolve your Digimon as far as you can."

"Okay." Keisuke's eyes glowed as he lowered his visor. Yu took out his Digivice.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Kabuterimon Digivolve to…MegaKabuterimon!"

"Otamamon Digivolve to…Gekomon!"

The woman took out a light blue, rectangular gadget and scanned them. "MegaKabuterimon and Gekomon. Ultamite and Champion Level Digimon."

"That looks like the same gadget Red Eyes had." Keisuke said.

"I call it the Megavice. Didn't Red Eyes tell you? I got a glimpse at the blueprints of Team One World's Controlvices and made these. Now then…" She pressed a button and in a blue flash, two creatures came out of the Megavice. A large blue turtle with a brown shell and cannons coming out of its shoulders and a small green and white creature with a orange fin on his head.

Lunick scanned the turtle. "Blastoise. Fully evolved Water Pokemon. The water jets on it's shell are strong enough to dent steel."

"Let's see how well the software we got from Arata and Nema works." Solana said as she scanned the other. "Betamon. A Rookie Level Virus Type. An amphibian Digimon with a gentle personality."

"Those Stylers…" the spy said as she watched. "They're different from the others I've seen."

"They're an older model." Solana said. "The ones we've had since becoming Rangers."

"We tried using the new ones, but we just couldn't get used to them." Lunick chuckled rubbing the back of his head. "They upgraded ours so they can still do all the things the modern ones can though."

"Heh. Is that so?"

Betamon turned to her. "What Level should I go to?"

"A Champion and an Ultimate. Let's go with Ultimate." Under the visor they could see the spy's eyes glow turquoise. She held up her Megavice.

DIGIVOLUTION

A turquoise light shot up and then came crashing down on her Digimon. "Betamon Warp Digivolve to…" In the shell that formed around it they could see a silhouette of Seadramon before bursting out as a red version of it with a silver horn and green hair. "MegaSeadramon!"

"It Digivolved…" Keisuke scanned it. "MegaSeadramon! Ultimate Level Data Type! A sea animal that chases its opponents like a seeking torpedo!"

"Now then…" The spy pocketed her Megavice. "Time to start the test." MegaSeadramon zoomed towards Keisuke and his friends as Blastoise took aim at them.

Lunick and Solana held up their handheld Stylers. Lines of light came out of them and the small discs flew at Blastoise. "Capture on!" Their Stylers flew towards Blastoise who shot blasts of water from his cannons at them, but they maneuvered around the attacks and started looping around it.

"It can't shoot at something right at its feet!" Lunick grinned. "We got this in the bag!"

The spy chuckled. "You think so? Blastoise! Rapid Spin!"

The Pokemon tucked into his shell and spun around so fast it knocked the Stylers away. Lunick looked at the Energy meter on his Styler. "Ouch. That guy packs a wallop."

"Crescent Leaf!" MegaKabuterimon charged at MegaSeadramon who whirled around the attack and then whacked him aside with his tail.

"Symphony Crusher!" Gekomon blew music out of the instrument around his neck that slightly slowed MegaSeadramon down but in the end, he powered through and rammed into the smaller Digimon.

"Quilava, use Swift!"

"Kirlia, Confusion!"

Lunick and Solana each had a friend Pokemon try to attack Blastoise from a distance but the Pokemon faced his back at them and blocked the attacks with his shell. One they stopped firing he turned back around and shot two bursts of water, that blew both Pokemon over and scared them away. "Two down. Now Hydro Pump!" Blastoise's cannons sparkled white.

"Baltoy, Sandstorm!" Just before he fired two torrents of water, one of Lunick's Pokemon kicked up a sandstorm, enveloping everyone's vision. Keisuke quickly put his visor on.

The spy looked around. Suddenly, Natu charged in and pecked Blastoise. The Water Type fired at it, but it flew away before he could aim. "Gia Element!" A green sphere blasted MegaSeadramon from behind.

"Heaven's Thunder!" The spy's Digimon turned around and shot a gold bolt, but heard no impact.

The spy smiled. "Cleaver. Blastoise is a powerhouse but not exactly mobile. If we can't see you coming you can land your hits on it and disappear into the sand before he can react. However…" She pointed upward. "Rain Dance!"

Blastoise roared and a sudden downpour began. The sandstorm started to dissipate while Gekomon was in mid-leap towards MegaSeadramon. "Uh-oh."

"Lightning Javelin!" MegaSeadramon fired a blue bolt of lighting from his horn that hit the Digimon head on.

"Gekomon!" Yu ran over to where his Digimon landed.

"Ambipom, Fury Swipes!"

"Bibarel, Rollout!"

Two More Friend Pokemon came in from opposite sides. Blastoise barely flinched from Ambipom's hits before bashing it into the bushes with his tail. MegaSeadramon moved away from Bibarel's attack before blasting it with another bolt.

"Is that all?" the spy asked. "If this is the back up for the Cyber Rangers, Oblivia is in some serious trouble." Yu clutched his fists as he kneeled in front of his Digimon in the rain. "Team One World will do anything to get what they want. We could be looking at the end of Oblivia. Maybe even this world."

"Is it really looking that bad?" Solana asked.

"I won't let that happen…" Yu slowly stood up.

Keisuke glanced at him. "Yu?"

"I don't want to see something bad happen to this world."

The spy looked at him. "This isn't your world. You haven't even been here that long. And you claim it's important to you?"

"You're right. But back in my own world…I'm nobody special. Heck I was the kid everyone picked on. Keisuke was always saving me from bullies. And out of everyone in Hudie, I'm the least skilled. But when I came to this world and met Otamamon and helped him Digivolve…I felt like I could do something special. Like I was needed. This world taught me that I could be someone important. That's why…" Yu's eyes glowed light purple. "I won't let Team One World have their way with it!"

The spy smiled. "Sounds like you've found your reason to fight. Something that those kids had when they bested me."

Yu looked at his Digimon. "Gekomon…can you stand up?"

The Digimon grunted and got back on his feet. "Sure can."

"Good. Then let's do this!" Yu held up his Digivice.

DIGIVOLUTION

A purple light fired upward and came crashing down onto Gekomon. A purple shell formed around him. "Gekomon Digivolve to…Whamon!" The shell expanded greatly, and he came out as a huge whale with a brown shell.

"WHOA!" Lunick stepped back. "Did not see that coming!"

"Like watching a Magikarp turn into a Gyarados for the first time." Solana muttered.

Keisuke scanned it. "Whamon! Ultimate Level Vaccine Digimon! Its enormity is of the highest class in the Digital World and because of that, it can carry a volume of water that can't be processed by a normal computer!"

The spy smirked at Yu whose eyes returned to normal. "So, this is the power of your determination."

Ben rode Raikou up Mt. Latolato with Keith. Black MetalGarurumon and Cyberdramon flew behind it.

"Just up ahead!" Keith said pointing at the Wireless Tower. In front of it they could see Keith's Buizel, Kellyn's Pachirisu and Kate's Stary still out cold on the ground. "Buizel!" Keith jumped down and ran to his partner, picking him up in his arms. "Buizel, are you okay?!"

Ben, Takumi, and Ryuji ran to the remaining Partner Pokemon. "Where's Team One World?" Ryuji asked.

"And Kellyn, Kate, and Rythmi!" Ben added.

Black MetalGarurumon's eyes glowed as he scanned the area. Then he detected something. "Takumi! Over here!"

The Cyber Sleuth walked over to the ground where his Digimon stood. "Are those Stylers? They must belong to Kellyn and Kate!"

"And that's not all! Look at this!" Black MetalGarurumon walked over to another electronic device on the ground.

"Rythmi's communicator…" Keith asked. "But where are they?!"

Ben clutched his fist and growled. "Kellyn…Kate…Rythmi…"

Back at Daybreak Ruins, the spy looked at the Whamon. "Alright little man. Show me what you got!"

Yu got into a fighting stance. "You asked for it! Hey Keisuke, back me up!"

"You got it! MegaKabuterimon!"

"Horn Buster!" Keisuke's Digimon shot a gold blast from his horn.

"Lighting Javelin!" The spy's Digimon countered with a blast from his own horn. The attacks collided and sent sparks everywhere.

Lunick and Solana stepped forward with Plusle, Minun, Baltoy and Natu. "Don't forget about us." Lunick said. "Minun!"

Solana pointed at the Blastoise. "Plusle!"

"Thunder!"

"MINUU!"

"PLUUU!" As they heard their Ranger's commands, the partners glowed yellow. They shot two bolts that grew in size as they traveled across the rain and blasted Blastoise. The turtle Pokemon howled in pain.

"Blastoise!" The spy then gasped as something occurred to her. "I see…" she smirked at Lunick. "This is what you were going for. The Sandstorm was not to hinder our vision. You wanted me to use Rain Dance to cancel it. To power up the Electric Type moves of your Pokemon."

Lunick grinned. "One of our friends from Almia was once sent to the region we operate on. He told us about the Pokemon where he's from. And one of them was Blastoise, who in Almia, specialize in the Rain Dance. I know Team One World was collecting Pokemon from all over, so I figured that just maybe, that Blastoise came from Almia. Even if it didn't, there was still a good chance it could use the move."

The spy chuckled. "Clever. But just a FYI: This one I raised from a Squirtle before I joined Team One World. In any case, you shouldn't forget…" Her Pokemon growled as he aimed his cannons. "Electric Type Moves aren't the only ones that get a boost in the rain! Hydro Pump!"

This volley was much bigger than the last. Baltoy and Natu were hit and knocked out. Plusel and Minun ran as the attack moved towards them.

Suddenly a flash of purple enveloped Blastoise and he stopped. "What the-Blastoise, what just happened?!" the spy gasped." A Psychic attack? But you have no more Friend Pokemon?! How did-

"Not just any Psychic attack." Solana grinned. "Future Sight. My Natu set that up while you were distracted by Yu's little lightshow."

"Minun! One more time!" Lunick said.

"Plusle!"

"PLUUUU!"

"MINUUU!" Both Plusle and Minun shot another Thunder attack at the Blastoise. The two bolts became one, before zapping the Pokmeon while Lunick and Solana looped their Stylers around him.

"Ice Archery!" Whamon shot an icicle at MegaSeadramon. He winced out of his Lighting Javelin attack as he was hit in the head and MegaKabuterimon's Horn Buster broke through and slammed into MegaSeadramon.

Whamon roared. "Tidal Wave!" A giant wave come up behind it and slammed into MegaSeadramon and Blastoise at the same time knocking them down. "Ha! How do ya like that?"

"Uh…Whamon?" Yu asked. His Digimon looked down and saw his partner, Keisuke, Lunick, Solana, Plusle, Minun and the spy all on the ground, soaking wet. "Nice work, but how about a little warning next time?" Yu groaned.

"Whops. Sorry bud."

The spy groaned as she got up. "Looks like we got a lose cannon here. Still, that power…"

"What now?" MegaSeadramon asked. "Should I Digivolve to Mega? Or do you want to Mega Evolve Blastoise?"

"No. I've seen enough. These kids are something special. Just Like Ben, Summer and their friends…"

"Okay." MegaSeadramon went back to his Rookie form. "Still…" Betamon looked at MegaKabuterimon and Keisuke. "Something about these guys seems familiar…"

"So, we passed your test?" Yu smiled.

The spy nodded. "It seems the Rangers picked their backup wisely."

Solana laughed. "In that case…" She and Lunick posed again.

"Mission Clear!"

"Pla, pla!"

"Mi!" Their Partner Pokemon jumped for joy.

"So, will you tell us what you know now?" Lunick asked as they walked up to the spy.

"Of course. It's not a lot, mind you. Our leader doesn't share much with us grunts. Can't say I blame him. Nearly his entire team consists of members from former criminal organizations. It's hard to know who can be trusted."

"So, what did you find out?" Keisuke asked. "Red Eyes said you think they're looking for some legendary Pokemon."

"Was one of them Giratina by any chance?" Solana asked.

"Funny you should ask." The spy replied. "Just the other day, I got into their servers and found out they were scanning for energy readings that emanate from a place called the Distortion World. After that, I did a bit of research and found out that's where Giratina comes from. So yes, I think it's safe to say it's one of them. Still no clue who the others are."

"I see…"

"There's also this. One of the commanders just left for Amun's Mansion."

"Amun?" Yu asked.

"The guy who wrote the songs of the legendary Pokemon in this region. That place…that's where I was first defeated by the Rangers and the Cyber Sleuths…"

"Which Commander was it?" MegaKabuterimon asked. "Ice? Lavana?"

"Neither. It was our newest Commander. A man named Kincaid."

"Kincaid…" Lunick muttered. "He was the guy Kellyn, Kate and Keith defeated in Almia. The one who recently got out of jail."

"I don't know what he's planning there. But Amun knew quite a good deal about legends. Maybe he's looking for something connected to Giratina or the other legendary Pokemon Team One World are looking into?"

"Hmmm…" Suddenly Lunick's Styler went off. "Huh? Someone's calling." He pressed a button. "Lunick here. We got some info from the spy."

"Never mind the spy!" Summer's voice said. "We've got a bigger problem!"

Solana walked over to Lunick. "Did something happen?"

"Keith's team was attacked at the Wireless Tower by Team One World!" It was Takumi's voice that spoke now. "They got Kellyn, Kate and Rythmi!"

"WHAT?!"

Inside and old building the blond-haired man with shades stood in a hall as the four members of Team One world stood before him. Three of them had Kellyn, Kate and Rythmi slung over their shoulders, still unconscious. They were tied up with rope around their shins, thighs and ankles. Their wrists were tied behind their backs with more rope around their bodies, pinning their upper arms and for good measure and white cloths were tied over their mouths gagging them. "What do you mean Keith escaped?!" the man yelled as the three captives were dumped onto the wooden floor.

"This girl Ranger teleported him somewhere right when we got them sir."

"Tch! Oh well. We might as well start with these three and their lesson." The man gave each of the girl grunts and one of the male grunts a uniform. "Get them dressed and ready in the "classroom" for me."

"Yes sir." One of the male Team One World members hulled the unconscious Kellyn's head and the other man carried his feet. They took him into a room on the right. One of the woman lifted the tied up Kate over her shoulder again and the last woman picked up Rythmi and they carried the girls off to the room on the left.

"Oh no…" Keisuke muttered.

"Kate protected me…" Keith muttered. "And now…"

"Guys, we need to find them fast!" Nokia said. "Does this spy know where they might be?"

"All she knows is that Team One World is looking into Giratina and that Kincaid guy has plains in and old guys mansion." Yu replied.

"Old mansion?" Chitose asked.

"Wait…Amun's Mansion?" Ami asked. "Say…come to think of it, Kincaid was defeated by Keith, Kellyn and Kate. He must have a vendetta against them!"

Keisuke looked at the spy. "Is that what Kincaid's planning?" The spy's only response was a shrug.

"So, he might have taken them to Amun's Mansion!" Murph said. "I'm 70 percent sure of it!"

"Then let's head there!" Lunick said. "Those guys could be begging for our help right now!"

"Met us at Tilt Village!" Takumi said. "We'll show you how to get there."

"Right. Tilt Village was that town on the other end of the bridge, right?" Solana asked.

"Wait." The four looked at the spy as she spoke. "I've been to that mansion before. I'll show you the way. Tell them to meet us at the path leading to it, it'll be faster."

They looked at her in surprise. "Guys?" Arata's voice asked from Lunick's Styler. "Something wrong?"

"Umm, our spy here just volunteered to guide us to the mansion. She said to meet us on the path." Solana said.

"Okay…? Well, it'll save time." Chitose said.

"We'll send a small team." Kyoko said. "We can't risk all of you charging into enemy territory."

"Okay. We're heading out." Lunick hung up and turned to the spy. "Are you sure about this? You might blow your cover."

"It'll be fine." The spy grinned taking off her visor. "As long as they don't see me in their tasteless get up, they won't know I've been pretending to work with them. Besides, knowing how much of a show-off Red Eyes is, he must have made it rather clear that he's back in Oblivia." The spy threw off the rest of the Team One World uniform off to reveal what she wore underneath. White shorts, low cut top and fingerless gloves with a blue vest and white and blue boots. She had blond hair with blue bangs. "So, they shouldn't be too suspicious about the other ex-Commander of the Pokemon Pinchers being here as well."

Okay, so there is something I feel I should announce. I am going to be away next week and won't be able to upload the next chapter next Sunday. So, I'm going to try to get it up next Saturday instead. I'll try to do the same for chapter 5 of From Dusk to Dawn, that story is admittedly easier for me to write, but this one's the higher propriety. If I can't make the next chapter by Saturday, then it will be up 2 weeks from now.
