Hello everyone. Before we get started I would like to just take one moment to say...YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! HECK YES! SORA'S COMMIN' TO SMASH! Yeah, kind late in saying this I know, but after Byleth he was defiantly my most wanted character for the game and makes for a brilliant grand finale to the DLC lineup! *ahem* okay, enough of me gushing, that's not why you're here.
Thanks to Takumi and Ami's detective work, our heroes located Team One World's base under Mt. Layuda. Ben, Summer, Takumi, Ami, Arata, Nokia, Yuugo, Yuuko, and Fei, along with Gallantmon and UlforceVeedramon draw away their forces while Kyoko, Keisuke, Matayoshi, and Date take the remaining Rangers to the entrance to an undersea base.
Rythmi turned to Prof. Hastings and the others. "Keith said they just got into the base."
"Red Team!" Calumon corrected.
"Right."
"Let's hope they can pull this off." Leanne muttered. Suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Who could that be at a time like this?" Nema asked.
Rythmi got up and hurried to the door. She opened it and Red Eyes was on the other end. "Uh, hello?"
"Is this the Ranger's residents?"
"Uh, yes, essentially."
"Finally!" the Gatsumon next to the man said. "Took a while to find you guys!"
Red Eyes looked inside. "Where are Ben and Takumi?"
"They're out on a mission. Do you need something?"
"Well…"
Keisuke guided his team down the deep halls. "To think there was something like this under Mt. Layuda. Amazing."
"Team One World sure is determined for a group of thugs." Lunick remarked.
They stopped when they saw some Pokemon wondering around. A Kangaskhan a Leavanny, a Swalot, a Gogoat, a Drampa and a Thievul.
"Looks like they're having a hard time keeping their Pokemon caged." Rand remarked. "That's what they get for trying to hoard so many."
"Well, it works to our advantage." Kellyn said. "Capture on!"
"Lightning Joust!"
"Dark Roar!"
Back outside the base, Ben and the others were still fighting. "Man, these goons just don't let up!" Megidramon growled before netting sights on a Shelgon "Megido Flame!"
"Smile Warhead." Prince Mamemon leapt up and hurled himself at a Gizamon.
"Just hang in there everyone!" Ami said.
UlforceVeedramon heard something and looked up. More Team One World troops flew towards them on Z.Z. Flyers. "Heads up! Reinforcements directly above us!"
"This is getting annoying." Fei growled.
TigerVespamon flew towards a Volcarona. "Mach Stinger V!"
Lunick had caught the Kangaskhan. Solana captured the Leavanny, Keith got the Gogoat, Kellyn caught Swalot, Kate got the Thievul and Rand tamed the Drampa. Now the team was moving deeper into the base. "We got more Pokemon helping us." Kellyn said. "That's good. But there will be a lot of enemies here. Don't forget, they're remnants of three different teams."
As if on que, four members of Team One World stormed over to them. "Stop right there!"
"Tch! Looks like the sneaking around part of this mission is over." Matayoshi muttered.
One of the grunts looked at Kellyn, Keith and Kate. "Hey, look!"
"You again!" another one growled.
Lunick looked at the three youngest Rangers. "You know these weirdos?"
Kellyn folded his arms. "Good question. Do we?"
"Hey, don't look at me." Kate said.
Keith scratched his head. "Uhhhh…"
The grunts were shocked. "You meant to tell me you've forgotten?! Back when we were working for Team Dim Sun, you-
"Humiliated you by beating you?" Kellyn asked. "You do realize that doesn't narrow it down in the slightest."
"At Altru Tower!"
"There were a lot of you back at the tower!" Keith said.
"When Kincaid tried to reorganize the team! You had that creepy Pokemon send us into that black void! We fell into the sea! I nearly got bit by a Carvanha because of you kids!"
"That was Darkrai." Kate said. "And again, there were a lot of you there, you're gonna have to be more specific."
"Darkrai?" Lunick asked in surprise. "The legendary Pokemon?"
"That's right."
"Are we sure these "legendary" Pokemon are at all rare?" Date asked. "Because you Rangers sure see them a lot."
"Well, we ran into Darkrai twice actually!" Kate smiled.
"My point."
"Say, what do you think Darkrai's doing these days?" Keith asked.
"Who knows?" Kellyn replied. "Watching the Princes Tears? Traveling the world? Heck maybe he finally found a Pokemon Trainer to travel with."
"I hope it's that." Kate said. "The poor guy must have been lonely."
"But I hear Darkrai is a Pokemon that spreads nightmares weather it wants to or not." Rand said. "It must be hard to find someone not afraid of it."
"Eh, don't worry about that! Darkrai's actually a pretty chill guy once you get to know him!" Keith grinned.
"HEY!" One of the One World Grunts yelled getting everyone's attention again. "First you act like you've forgotten us, and now you're ignoring us?! I mean, honestly! The nerve!"
Kyoko smirked. "Perhaps your inability to hold their attention is how they forgot you so easily."
"Alright, that's it!" The grunts held up their Controlvices. "Let's get em!" All together, a Miltank, a Throh, a Shedinja, a Lickilicky, a Grappolect, a BlackGatomon, a Drimogemon, a Dinohumon and a Yanmamon.
"That's a lot of enemies." Rand groaned. "Hope you're all ready for a fight gang!"
Keisuke slid down his Digivice. "We won't let anything get in our way. We will restore Hudie! Together!" A blue light fired from the visor. First MegaKabuterimon came out. Then Monodramon. Then Armadillomon. And finally, Patamon.
"He's got a lot of Digimon!" one of the grunts yelled.
"He ain't the only one." Date said as she and Matayoshi stepped forward. Kerpymon and Garudamon came out.
Keisuke looked at Ryuji and Chitose's Digimon. "Are you sure about this?"
"I wouldn't choose anyone else." Monodramon said. "After all, I recall a point when Ryuji gave you command of Hudie."
"That's right." Armadillomon nodded. "I'd gladly take you as my subsaboot Tamer."
"He means substitute!" Patamon corrected. "Anyway, even if we can't Digivolve, we'll still fight to save our pals!"
Keisuke smiled. "Thanks guys."
One of the One World grunts put a hand to his ear. "Did that thing just say pals? Is it even possible for Digimon or Pokemon to have pals?"
Another one scoffed. "Oh please! They can't even feel!"
"Can't even feel?!" Patamon glared. "I resent that!"
"If that is the case, explain the anger you're provoking from us." Garudamon demanded.
"You're just acting like you have emotions because you're a program. Kinda like an AI."
"I cannot believe I'm saying this…" Keisuke snarled. "But you jerks are even worse than the bad hackers I met! You think anything you can get your hands on is an exploit to make life easier!"
"Digimon and Pokemon aren't tools to use for selfish whims!" Kellyn glared. "They're for us humans to connect with! To grow alongside!"
"I don't think these bozos are going to listen to words." Lunick said. "I think we'll need to teach them the hard way."
"Just try!" The One World grunt in front of the other three held his hand out and the Pokemon and Digimon under their command charged.
Kellyn, Kate, Lunick, Solana, Keith and Rand stood forward and shot their Stylers. "Capture on!" As the discs flew and their Friend Pokemon charged, the allied Digimon set their sights on the enemy Digimon.
Keisuke scanned two of them. "Drimogimon. Champion Level Data Type Digimon. Moves underground at high speed. Yanmamon. Champion Level Data Type. Carnivorous and aggressive."
Yanmamon charged towards Keisuke. "Air Shot!" Patamon puffed up before shooting a sphere of wind at Yanmamon, that knocked it off balance.
"Diamond Shell!" Armadillomon curled up and tackled it to the ground.
"Drill Spin!" Drimogimon's drill whirred as it charged towards Keisuke.
"Horn Buster!" MegaKabuterimon fired at it. It was zapped before MegaKabuterimon charged into it and it shattered.
Keisuke turned to the Yanmamon. "You guys have it outnumbered! Just keep it on the ground and it's helpless!"
Yanmamon was being pinned down by Armadillomon and Patamon when Monodramon came in. "Knuckle Beater!" He brought his fists into the Digimon's face repeatedly. Eventually it was destroyed.
Date faced another Digimon. "BlackGatomon. Champion Level Virus Type. The mutation of this Gatomon is rare and is an endangered species. Wow. I feel bad enough for beating on a poor cat."
Kerpymon nodded. "Yeah. Especially considering it isn't the poor guys fault. But once we take its data back, we can restore it."
Date sighed. "I guess that's all we can do for the guy. Let's make this quick."
"Lightning Paw!" the cat Digimon leap into the air and dove towards Kerpymon with its right paw ready to ram it.
Kerpymon caught it with his large hand and threw the small Digimon to the floor. "I'm sorry. Holy Light!" A golden flash engulfed the Digimon before its data went to Date's Digivice.
Matayoshi looked at the last one. "So, this one's ours then, is it?" He scanned the Digimon. "Dinohyumon. Champion Level Data Type. Lives in an area that has yet to join modern civilization where all are part of a tribe of combat dragons."
"Then this shall be an honorable match." Garudamon said. "Awaiting orders sir."
"Lizard Dance!" Dinohyumon spun and twirled around rapidly holding its massive greatsword.
"Stop that blade! Try to disarm it first!"
Garudamon caught the sword as it came down between his hands. After a short power struggle, Garudamon twisted the blade and thrusted it into the ground next to him before punching Dinohyumon in the face.
"Good! Watch for the weapons on its arms!"
Dinohyumon tried to throw punched at Garudamon who evaded each of them, landing a few punches of his own in when he could. "Gale Storm!" Garudamon swung his claws, summoning a powerful steam of wind that knocked Dinohyumon to the ground. "Burst Flame!" He then shot a burst of fire at it, that destroyed it. Matayoshi's Digivice collected its data.
"Body Slam!" One World's Miltank ran towards Lunick.
"Kangaskhan! Fake Out!" Kangaskhan swung its fist towards Miltank. The enemy Pokemon stopped right in front of its hand, which stopped right before touching it, making it flinch. "Now Dizzy Punch!" Then it threw a real punch that made the Miltank spin in place upon impact. It tottered around in a daze. "Plusle!"
"PLUSLLLLLLLLE!" Lunick's Partner Pokemon zapped it, making it still and easy for Lunick to finish his capture.
Kate and Kellyn faced the Grappolect. "Thievul! Night Slash!"
"Detect!" One World's Pokemon quickly got into a battle stance before evading the attack with ease.
"Swalot, Poison Spray! Pachirisu! Spark!" Kellyn's Partner Pokemon charged at Grappolect, but it dodged and Pachirisu flew past it. Kellyn's Friend Pokemon spewed gas towards the Pokemon but it jumped over both it and its Ranger with amazing speed and was soon right behind Kellyn.
"Gotchya now!" The grunt grinned. "Octolock!"
Before Kellyn could even turn around the four tentacles that acted like arms wrapped around his arms and legs pulling them away from each other. "Agh!" Kellyn groaned as he tried to fight the harsh pulling on his limbs that held him spread-eagle. Swalot and Pachirisu turned around, and prepared to attack but hesitated with Kellyn right in the line of fire.
"Starly, Peck!" Kate ordered. Her Partner rushed in and smacked Grappolect in the head making its grip weaken. "Thivel, Foul Play!" Her Friend Pokemon rammed into it from the side, knocking it off of Kellyn. Kate ran over to her dazed brother and helped him off his rear. "Heh, heh! Letting yourself get caught off guard? You owe me one bro!" She smirked. The Grappolect threw Kate's Pokemon off of it and leapt back towards the girl in rage. "KYAAAAAAAH!" Kate was tackled to the floor. The two of them rolled a bit before the Gappolect stood back up with Kate's arms and legs pulled away from each other and trapped in another Octolock now in the same position her brother was in. "Hey! No fair! Let go of me! Ow! Stop that! You'll pull my arms and legs off!"
"All's fair in love and war!" the grunt controlling the Pokemon bragged before looking at Kellyn. "Now what are you going to do?"
"Already did it." Kellyn replied blankly.
"Huh?" It was then when he noticed Kellyn's Styler was whirling around now had tamed the Pokemon. "Oh, come on!"
The Grappolect threw Kate forward. She screamed as she landed on her front at Kellyn's feet. Kellyn offered her a hand and a smug grin. "Why Kate, letting yourself get caught off guard?"
"You're a riot." Kate grumbled as she took his hand. "Okay, okay, we're even."
Shedinja shot Shadow Ball after Shadow Ball at Keith who backflipped away from the bombardment. "Gogoat Razor Leaf!" His Friend Pokemon attacked, but the attacks went right thought the Pokemon.
"Ha! Shedinja's Wonder Guard makes it immune to all attacks that aren't strong against it's types!"
Keith grinned. "In that case…" He sidestepped with his Pokemon. "Buizel! Hydro Pump!" His Partner Pokemon spewed water from his mouth.
"Ha! I told you-Hey! GAAAAAAAAH!" The attack went through Shedinja again, but this time hit the grunt after doing so. While he was on the ground soaking wet, his Pokemon stood still for Keith to easily tame.
Solana faced the Lickilicky. "Leavanny, X Scissor!" Her Friend Pokemon's arms glowed a bright green as it jumped up and dove towards the enemy.
"Lickilicky, Defence Curl!" The One World Grunt ordered and his Pokemon curled up and took the hit.
"Leaf Blade!" As Solana called her next attack Leavanny's right arm glowed a darker green before swiping at Lickilicky again, doing significant damage.
"Wrap!" The grunt's Pokemon wrapped its long tongue around Leavanny, trapping it. "Wring out!" It gave Solana's Pokemon a twist, making it scream before it was dropped to the floor.
"Leavanny!" Solana gasped.
Lunick turned around to see what was happening. "Solana, look out!"
"Huh?" Solana looked back up just to see Lickilicky's tongue reach out and wrap around her. "AAAAAAAH!" She shrieked as she was pulled towards the Pokemon. She struggled the whole way over, but her arms were trapped at her sides. She couldn't even use her Styler.
"Got you know." The grunt grinned as he walked over to the trapped Ranger. Wring-
"HI-YA!" Unexpectedly, Solana raised her foot up high enough to kick the Pokemon in the head. While it was stunned, she rammed both her feet into it's face so hard it dropped her. "Leavanny! String Shot!" Her Pokemon got up and started wrapping web about the Lickilicky, trapping it.
"Wha- The Grunt was interrupted when Lunick grabbed him from behind and overshoulder throwed him before lifting him up and gave him a roundhouse kick to the gut knocking him out as Solana captured Lickilicky with her Styler.
"Are you okay?" Lunick asked as he turned to Solana.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Solana cringed. "That was gross."
"Uh, guys?" Keisuke muttered. "I know I shouldn't judge, since I'm not a Pokemon Ranger, but didn't that seem a little…unprofessional?"
"Huh? What do you mean?" Lunick asked.
"You know, kicking Pokemon in the face, beating up a person."
"Hey, that was self defence!" Solana replied with her hands at her hips.
"I'm just saying, with how you guys are about protecting the peace, and helping people and Pokemon, it might be out of character to be so brutal. Kinda sends the wrong message. Don't you think so Rand?" Keisuke turned around. "Rand?"
"Just a minute Keisuke!" Rand grunted as he wrestled with the Throh. "RRRAH!" He gripped the Pokemon and suplexed it. While the Throh was dazed, Rand grabbed it by the legs and started spinning it around far faster then a human should be able to before throwing it into it's flabbergasted controller, who screamed as he and his Pokemon went flying to the ground. Rand then drew two loops around the knocked out Throh with his Styler before retrieving it and dusting off his hands. "Sorry about that. What's wrong?"
Keisuke stood there in silence before turning around. "Nothing. Never mind." He sighed. "I bet Erika would make for an amazing Pokemon Ranger if this is what they do."
Solana giggled as Lunick snickered as they watched him walk away. "So, is that all of them?" Lunick asked.
"I believe so." Kellyn said glancing at the defeated One World Grunts. The two that weren't knocked out ran away.
The Stylers beeped. "Red Team, come in!" Nema called.
"Go ahead, Nema." Rand replied.
"Good news! Help is on the way! Red Eyes dropped by, and we told him what happened! He just left to help!"
"Cool." Keith replied. "I guess he is a good person after all."
"I'll let Ben and-I mean Blue Team know too! Good luck!"
As they hung up, everyone went on ahead.
The One World members outside the mountain were either knocked out or terrified as the Cyber Rangers stood before them showing no signs of wearing down. "W-we don't stand a chance against these guys…Is this what the heroes can do?"
"Retreat!" One of the men gave the order and they started running.
"Finally." Arata sighed after they all left. "I thought that would never end."
"Let's get moving." Ben said. "The others had a good head start by now."
Nokia held her Digivice to her ear. "This is Red Team, you guys there?"
"No, no, you're Blue Team Nokia!" Nema said. "Kyoko's team is Red Team!"
"Whoops! Sorry Green Team!"
"Not Green Team! We're Yell-Never mind. You mopped up on your end?"
"Sure have." Ben replied. "Do you know where the entrance is?"
"Rythmi's sending coordinates. Oh! And Red Eyes is on his way to help!"
"Red Eyes?"
"Yeah! He said he lost contact with Blue Eyes, so he came by to see if you knew what happened and when we told him where you are, he said he'd lend a hand."
"The more the merrier, I guess."
Ben's Styler beeped as his Voice Nav. Spoke up. "Location of One World Hideout entrance confirmed." It displayed a map with a blinking marker.
"Near the top huh?" Ben said. "Let's go." Everyone got on their flying Digimon/Pokemon and took off to the peak of the mountain. Ben went over to the stone slate blocking the way in and drew Raikou's Guardian Sign, opening the way. They went inside. Ben followed the map to the rock. "It should be around here."
Takumi looked at the map, then walked over to the rock. He felt around with his fingers before he pressed against the hidden switch and the elevator appeared. "Wow." Takumi turned to the Digimon. "If this place is under the sea, we'd better take it easy. If we blow a hole, there's going to be a whole new problem. Once you guys get in the Digivice convert to Ultimate forms."
Everyone nodded before the Digimon went into the Digivices, and Latios and Latias went into the Stylers. "Nokia, keep the Royal Knights in your Digivice for now." Ami said. "They can be our trump card if we face heavy resistance."
"Got it."
Everyone then entered the elevator, and it went down. They could see the sea depths as they went deeper. "Wow…" Summer gasped. "It's beautiful."
"Hmmm…" Yuuko put a hand to her chin as she looked at the base bellow them.
"What's wrong?" Fei asked.
"First that tunnel in Amun's Mansion, now this? Team One World must have been preparing for this fight for a long time. Maybe even before the Pinchers and the Societea arrived."
"You're probably right." Takumi folded his arms. "Who is the leader of Team One World?"
Kyoko looked at her Digivice as she tampered with an electronic lock on a door. "Highest security we've seen in this base so far. Something important must be here."
"Is it Ryuji and his team?" Date asked. "It has to be!"
"We'll find out soon. There." Kyoko stood up as the door opened. It was a large dark room inside.
"What is this place?" Keisuke slowly stepped inside with the others.
Suddenly a light went on in front of them. Under it was Blue Eyes, still stuck in the restraining device, holding her hands feet and hips in place with her head hung low. "Blue Eyes!?" Solana ran over to her with the others following. She gripped the metal cup encasing her left hand and tried to pull it lose. "Who did this?!"
Keisuke hacked into the terminal next to the contraption and unlocked it. The metal bindings opened up and Blue Eyes dropped. Solana caught her and she fell. "Looks like she was found out." Keisuke sighed.
"Blue Eyes?" Solana lightly shook her. "Are you- She then noticed something purple over her eyes. "What the- Without warning Blastoise and MetalSeadramon came out of her Megavice and smacked most of the team aside. Blue Eyes then threw Solana into the contraption behind her. The Ranger yelped as the metal clamp came down around her hips, trapping her into it. "Hey!" She grabbed the metal belt around her and tried to pull it open, but the metal cylinders moved towards her limbs and slammed shut on her hands and feet, trapping her completely before stretching out her limbs. "Ow! I-I'm stuck!"
Lunick sprung to his feet. "Solana!"
Keisuke grunted as he got up. "Blue Eyes, what are you doing?!" He then saw a purple visor over the woman's eyes. "Is that…?!"
Everyone heard a laugh as the rest of the lights turned on in the room and Ice approached. "Welcome to my lab."
"Ice!" Kate growled. "You creep! What did you do to Blue Eyes?!"
"It's not just her!" Keith said. "Look!" He pointed at Blue Eye's Pokemon and Digimon. Both of them had glowing purple eyes.
"Isn't that what Kincaid did to his men?!" Keisuke asked.
"Pretty observant for a newb." Ice smirked. "I was the one who created the program at his request. Leave it to my previous boss to think of something so clever."
"Clever?" Solana asked from her entrapment. "More like sick and inhumane!"
Ice walked over to the terminal near the device that held her. "Hmph. I think we'd better do something about that mouth of yours."
"Don't you touch her!" Lunick yelled as he ran towards her. Ice Didn't even turn around as he held up his Controlvice. His JumboGamemon and a round white and black Pokemon with horns and angry eyes came out, stopping him.
Keisuke scanned the Pokemon. "Glalie. Ice Type. It protects itself with armor made of ice and can instantly freeze moister in the atmosphere."
Ice pressed a button and electricity emitted from Solana's bonds and traveled around her body. "Ah!" She clutched her teeth and squeezed her eyes shut. "N-no! Stop it!"
"Let her go!" Lunick glared.
Ice smirked at the look on the trapped Ranger's face. Until he saw it shift to a smile. "What are you smiling at?"
"Pfft! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! S-stop! That tickles!"
Ice raised an eyebrow. "Tickles?" He looked back at the terminal. "What the heck is wrong with this thing? I have it at full blast!"
"The Styler!" Kate said. "It's designed to absorb damage! It must be taking the blunt of it!"
"Oh yeah. Forgot they did that. Eh, it'll lose all its energy and break. Then she'll be screaming." Ice glanced at Solana who shook her head back in forth, bursting in laughter. "If she doesn't pass out first."
Lunick growled as he pondered his options.
"Hey!" Everyone turned around. Ben and the others had arrived. "Here comes the cavalry!" With them were Latios, Latias, Pichu, Staraptor, MagnaAngemon, Angewomon, SkullMeremon, RizeGreymon, Andromon, and CannonBeemon.
Takumi and Ami ran over. "Sorry to keep you waiting Kyoko!" Ami gleamed.
"No worries, you're right on time."
"Ice! And Is that…Blue Eyes?" Summer asked. "Why is she here?"
"Ice put her under his control. Just like what we saw Kincaid do at the mansion." Kellyn replied.
Ice looked at the three of them and whispered into his Controlvice. "They're here. Take the two of them and I'll get the rest."
MagnaAngemon then noticed an Abra teleport behind the Cyber Sleuths. "Takumi!"
Angewmon flew towards them with him. "Ami! look out!"
The twins and Kyoko turned around just as Abra glowed purple and formed a bright light that swallowed the three of them along with the two Digimon before disappearing.
Matayoshi's eyes were where they once stood. "What?!"
Nokia stepped forward. "Takumi! Ami! Kyoko!"
"Ice!" Kellyn glared. "What did you do to them?!"
"Oh relax. Kincaid just wanted to get back at them for ruining his pride, so I sent them over to him so they could settle their unfinished business. As for the rest of you…" Doors opened from the left and right. More Members of Team One World charged in. "I'll deal with the rest of you here myself."
Takumi, Ami, Kyoko, MagnaAngemon and Angewomon dropped down. The Abra then disappeared. "What just happened?!" Takumi asked. They looked around. They were in a dark, large, dome shaped arena.
"Welcome, Cyber Sleuths." They all looked in front of them. Kincaid stood at the other end of the room.
"Kincaid!" Takumi glared at him. "You don't know when to quit!"
"You two don't have that look in your eyes. The look that terrifies even me…If I don't destroy you here, Team One Worlds ambitions-and mine-will be in jeopardy. I must erase you here no matter what the cost!"
"And how do you plan on doing that on your own?" Ami asked.
"With a little something my boss had been working on the side. I'm given to understand you are not of this world and have only been around for a few months. So, I assume you wouldn't be familiar with the history of the Galar region?"
"Galar?" Takumi asked.
"Yes. Legend said thousands of years ago, two heroes of sorts fought against something called the Darkest Day. The results of that battle created these things called Power Spots thorough the region."
"What's a Power Spot?" Angewomon asked.
"An area that allows Trainers with Dynamax Bands to use a power called Dynamax." Kyoko said. "An ability to distort the space around a Pokemon."
"Oh, ho!" Kincaid chuckled in amusement. "Straight from the textbooks. Not bad for someone not from this world. Indeed. Dynamax is a mysterious power. So far Galar region is the only place where you can find the Power Spots needed for it. Until now."
"What?"
"Back when I had command of Team Dim Sun, I took an interest in the power of Dynamax. So, while operations were running in Almia, I had some of my spies infiltrate the Macro Cosmos. It's the largest business corporation in Galar. They had been researching the source of these Power Spots. The Wishing Stones. Apparently, my boss contacted those spies and had them bring samples to him while I was imprisoned."
"Your point being?" Takumi asked.
"He was making some breakthroughs on amplifying the affects of the few stones he could obtain with something discovered in your world. I believe you call it the Digital Shift."
Ami's eyes widened. "He knows about the Digital Shifts?!"
"Like the Dynamax, they are a means of altering space and reality. So, he made an attempt to combine the two into something new. Sadly, due to logical barriers and other difficulties he gave up on it, calling it "irrelevant" to the team's true goals. But I wasn't about to let that research go to waste. I've been working on it privately. I was just missing one thing. An agent to combine these two powers. When we captured Blue Eyes, I took her files for her Megavice for myself. And just a few moments before your arrival, I finished building this." He took out a black Controlvice with a strange crystal at the bottom of it. "This is my masterpiece! The Dynavice!" Out of the gadget came a seal like Pokemon.
Ami put her goggles on. "Dewgong. Water Ice Pokemon. It's unharmed by even intense cold and swims through icy waters with ease."
"You think that little guy will stop us?" Takumi smirked.
Kincaid grinned. "Little you say?" He pressed a button on the Dynavice and a blinding red light enveloped the dome. "Engulf my foes with the light of my new reality! Come! Power Shift!" Lights flashed around the room as his Pokemon returned to his Dynavice. The stone on it glowed as he held it up. A tremendous light burst out.
"Gah!" Takumi and the others shielded their eyes. They slowly adjusted and looked up. "No…way…"
Kincaid cackled as they stared as his newly emerged Dewgong. Except now it was huge. Gigantic even. "This is Dynamax. With the knowledge of the Digital Shifts I have done even what our boss could not! Now prepare to be squashed like the insignificant bugs you are!"
Rythmi and the others still waited. "I lost contact with the team." Rythmi said. "The signal must have broken off after they went in too far into the base."
"Then they're on their own unfortunately." Proof. Hastings sighed. "All we can do now it hope for the best."
"This sucks!" Calumon groaned. "I wanted to help more!"
"I'm sure they'll pull it off!" Nema said. "This is the Cyber Rangers of Oblivia we're talking about!"
"Guys!"
Nema turned to her computer. Tokomon was on the screen. "What is it Tokomon?"
"I'm picking up something with the Nematic Radar!"
"I told you, it's called "The Nema-Style, Distorted-Space-Finding-Radar!"
"I think it's some kind of whormhole! A big one! A ginormous one!"
"What?!" Prof. Hastings turned in their direction. "Where is it?!"
"That's the scary part! Right outside the house!"
"W-what?!" Rythmi stuttered. "Of all the times for this to happen! Everyone's away!"
"The signal is getting stronger and stronger!"
"How…?!" Nema ran outside. Tokomon came out of the computer and followed her with Calumon.
"Nema, wait!" Leanne ran after her. "Stay inside, it's too dangerous!"
Nema stood on the field outside. "Where is it?!"
Tokomon looked up. "Up there!"
Leanne, Rythmi and Proof. Hastings hurried outside. When they saw Nema and her Digimon looking up, they too raised their heads and saw blue sparks forming in the sky. "What is that?!" Rythmi asked.
"I have no idea!" Tokomon said. "I've never seen anything like it!"
The sparks glowed and grew as the skies darkened. Soon there was a bright flash and they formed a blue hole. A white bolt of lighting came out of it and dropped down in front of them, blinding them. "What's this powerful light?!" Rythmi shrieked.
Slowly it began to die down. Nema peeked her eyes opened. "Ah…!" She looked up. A tall Digimon in black armor was crouching down. It opened its red eyes as it slowly stood up. She gulped. "It looks so strong…I hope this one's friendly…"
Calumon's mouth was agape. "Is that…?!"
