It was a bit of a rush job, but I managed to get the next chapter for this story by Saturday. Next chapter will be next Sunday

Sayo, was in Access Glacier. After getting access (no pun intended, seriously) to the area from Koh, she was determined to find a lead on her missing leader, Chief Julia and Gutts' group who were missing for a while now.

Right now, they were underwater. Good thing being in the Digital World meant Sayo could breathe it. She sighed to herself. "What's wrong Sayo?" her newly Digivolved MirageGaogamon asked.

"All this crazy stuff happening…I'm still trying to make sense of it all."

"I know what you mean." Dianamon replied. "First that cloaked figure at Thriller Ruins and the tournament, then shortly after a virus attacks the City, then that strange Digimon appears in Limit Valley. Then Light Fang attacks, and then the chief and Gutts' team all go missing?"

"Don't forget Kowloon Co." Lilamon added. "There are so many unknows, and not enough answers…"

"I'm also worried about what Koh said." Sayo said. "He said he hasn't even gone back to Sunshine City lately because of how they were acting…now he's going back to try to get us more info…I'm grateful, but it's still dangerous. What if whatever's gotten into Light Fang gets him?"

"Oh?" Lilamon smiled. "You worried about him, Sayo?"

The girl looked away, not wanting her Digimon to see that she was slightly blushing. "M-maybe! What's wrong with that?!"

"I never said it was wrong! I think it's sweet of you!"

Dianamon laughed. "I'll say."

"As much as I enjoy teasing Sayo, I think I just found the way out." MirageGaogamon said, pointing at a tunnel.

"Then let's stop wasting time and go!" Sayo said hurrying ahead.

"Aww! She's embarrassed." Lilamon giggled. "I've never seen her like that!"

"She never was one to show her feelings." Dianamon replied as they followed Sayo to the surface.

Once they were standing on the icy floor Sayo squinted to get a look ahead of her. "Hey…look over there!" A giant, black creature stood before a boy with orange hair and googles "It's Koh! And that monster we fought at Limit Valley!"

"That's not all!" Dianamon pointed ahead. "Look!" A woman with blue hair laid on the ground next to a Digimon in black armor with a lance and shield. "It's Chief Julia and ChaosGallentmon!"

"And there's more!" MirageGaogamon said looking in the back. "Is that Gutts and his group?!"

"Come on! Koh needs our help!" Sayo said.

"Hey, you! Let them go!" the Tamer of Light Fang demanded.

The Grimmon laughed. "Let do of them? Are you sure about that? …I can't do that just yet!"

Koh growled as Apollomon, a newly Digivolved ShineGreymon and MagnaAngemon stood by ready to fight. "Then I guess there's no choice but to fight!"

Grimmon laughed again. "Insolent fool! Do you think you can take this?" Dark energy gathered around him.

Apallomon's eyes widened. "Koh! Get back!"

"Chrono Destruction!" A dark wave erupted, blasting the party. Koh's Digimon collapsed and he fell over trapped in the same trance as Julia and the others. "This is an attack I improved with the digi-entelecheia I stole from Digimon…No one can withstand my Chrono Destruction!"

"Leave him alone!" Sayo shouted, charging at Grimmon.

"Sayo, wait!" Dianamon yelled as she, MirageGaogamon and Lilamon hurried after her.

Grimmon faced her. "You're the kid who stood up against me at Limit Valley! Do you want to be like them too?"

"I'm taking Chief Julia and the others back from you!" Sayo said as her Digimon stood ready for battle.

"Take this! Chrono Destruction!"

"Sayo!" Dianamon flew in front of her Tamer as Grimmon gathered energy.

Sayo gasped as another dark wave overwhelmed her. She fell to her knees before hitting the icy ground as her Digimon toppled over. "Haahahahahaha! Behold! YGGDRASILL. I'll show you the power of my YMIR! With this attack I'll rewrite the entire Digital World!"

"No..." Sayo murmured.

Grimmon glanced at her. "Eh?"

"Must…stop you…must…save Chief Julia…must…protect…Koh…" Sayo slowly opened her eyes and pushed herself off the ground and onto her knees. She groaned, shaking her head.

"Sa…yo…" Dianamon got up next. Followed by Lilamon and MirageGaogamon.

"What! Why?!" Grimmon yelled. "Why does it have no effect on you?!"

"I won't…let you get away with this!" Sayo yelled as she got back to her feet.

"…Hmm, low on energy. The one weakness of Chrono Destruction. This can't be helped."

"What?"

"No matter… There's no rush. Now that the Chrono Virus has awakened, there's no point in dealing with the likes of you. Hehehehe…"

"You're not getting away! Dianamon!"

"Crescent Harken!" Dianamon charged at Grimmon, swinging her weapon, but the Digimon leapt into the air.

Grimmon laughed. "Farewell!"

MirageGaogamon charged next. "Royal Claw!" Right before he could land a punch, Grimmon disappeared. "He got away again!"

"It can't be helped." Lilamon sighed. "At least we found the chief and the others. That's more important."

Dianamon nodded. "Lilamon's right. Let's focus on helping our friends first."

Sayo hurried over to Koh and lifted him onto a sitting position while her Digimon hurried to Apollomon, ShineGreymon and MagnaAngemon. "Koh, are you alright?" She didn't get a response at first, worrying her, so she shook him a little. "Koh, say something!"

"Uh…Y…M…I…R…"

Sayo patted his cheek softly, but firmly a few times. "Koh! Snap out of it!"

The boy gasped as he opened his eyes. "Wha?! Sayo?! What just happened?!"

"That monster toppled you and ran off after we showed up."

"Apollomon, can you hear me?" Dianamon asked, putting a hand on the other Digimon's shoulder.

"I'm alright…" Apollomon slowly got back up. MirageGaogamon and Lilamon helped ShineGreymon and MagnaAngemon back up.

"Are you okay?" Sayo asked as she pulled Koh to his feet.

Koh nodded. "Thanks, Sayo. That was close." He then looked at the other Tamers. "Are Chief Julia and the others alright…I was only affected by the virus for a little while, so I was able to come to my senses quickly but…"

"Who knows how long they've been like that." Sayo murmured.

"We need to do something fast." MagnaAngemon groaned.

"Uggh…"

Koh and Sayo gasped. "Chief Julia?!"

The leader of Night Crow groaned. "Uh…"

"Chief Julia, are you alright!?" Sayo ran towards her.

Koh glanced at ChaosGallentmon as he suddenly stood up. "Be careful, Sayo!"

"We… Give… all to… YMIR…" Sayo stopped in her tracks and turned to ChaosGallentmon. The knight slowly marched towards Koh.

"What's happening to ChaosGallentmon?!" ShineGremon asked.

Sayo ran towards her fellow Tamer. "Koh, look out!"

"Mystic Pulse!" ChaosGallentmon shot violet light from his shield, Gorgon. Sayo dove into Koh, moving him out of the way. The blast flew over them and blew an iceberg in the distance to pieces.

"No! Has the virus become strong enough to control even ChaosGallentmon?!" Lilamon asked.

The knight charged at the Tamers. "Sayo!" Dianamon stopped him, clashing her weapon with his. "Sir! Get a hold of yourself! You're being controlled by a virus! You have to fight it!"

ChaosGallentmon spun around, tripping her with his heel. As she was knocked off her feet, he rammed his shield into her, knocking her into Lilamon, sending both of them into the ocean with a splash. "Dianamon! Lilamon!" Sayo yelled.

"Shining Ray!" ShineGreymon shot at ChaosGallentmon, who blocked the attack with his shield and charged again.

"Holy Slash!" MagnaAngemon charged at him with his sword.

The Gorgon glowed purple. "Dark Counter!" He blocked the attack and thrusted his lance, Balmung, into the angel. MagnaAngemon crashed into the frozen wall.

"MagnaAngemon!" Koh yelled.

"Gale Claw!" MirageGaogamon's flew around and past ChaosGallantmon at high speed, constantly moving around the opponent. He landed multiple hits on the knight that did little aside from making him stumble. ChaosGallentmon stuck his lance out and MachGaogamon gasped in pain as his midsection rammed into it and clotheslined him.

"Solblaster!" A golden blast hit ChaosGallentmon from behind making him stumble. Apolomon stepped forward. "He's gone berserk! Our only option is to beat him into submission!"

Soya gasped. "But…!"

"I don't like it any better than you do Sayo, but I don't see any other way." Koh added. "Talking won't help, this is exactly what happened to Chief Glair and the others!"

Dianamon rose out of the water with Lilamon "If we don't do anything we're all done for! ChaosGallentmon's power is on a whole other lever from other Digimon! Who knows what will happen if he remains under the enemy's control?!"

Lilamon charged at him. "Lila Shower!" Lilamon shot pink beams at ChaosGallentmon. The knight blocked them with his shield and it fired a purple laser at her, slamming her into a wall. Just as she bounced off it, he thrusted his lance repeatedly, shooting purple needles at her. Lilamon screamed as they pierced through her hands and feet, pinning her to that wall.

"Lilamon!" Sayo screamed.

MagnaAngemon used his sword to destroy the needles, and Lilamon dropped down. He caught her and gently set her to the floor before turning to ChaosGallentmon. He swung his sword at him, but the knight parried and smacked his shield into him.

As Sayo healed Lailamon with a Full DigiarS, Dianamon charged again. "Chaos Slash!"

"Chaos Slash!" the two swung their weapons, summoning purple sparks as they clashed. "Demon Slash!" ChaosGallentmon swung so hard that even blocking the hit didn't stop Dianamon from getting launched into an ice wall.

She looked up to see Balmung flying right at her. She moved to the side, evading it narrowly. But when she moved forward to get back to the fight, she felt a tug. She looked back at the lance. While it didn't hurt her, it did pierce through the rim of her skirt, pinning it to the ice. "Are you kidding me?!" She grunted as she tried to pull away.

Lilamon charged again only for ChaosGallentmon to dodge her kick. She flailed at him for a bit before his free hand managed to get a hold of both of hers and lifted her arms up above her head. He slammed Gorgon into her torso making her hunch in pain. As MirageGaogamon charged he threw Lilamon into him. "Burst Tackle!" ShineGreymon charged at him only to be deflected by the shield and ricochet into an iceberg.

"Come on!" Dianamon grunted as she still tried to pull away from the iceberg. Apollomon came over and pulled Bulmung out of it and her skirt freeing her. "Thanks."

"Anytime. Now come on! Let's help the others!"

"Right!" Dianamon and Apollomon roared as they charged, the ladder still holding ChaosGallentmon's lance. ChaosGallentmon wacked MagnaAngemon aside with his shield before noticing they were coming. He threw the Gorgon at them. They maneuvered around it and charged with the weapons they held. Apollomon thrusted and Dianamon swung, but in a flash ChaosGallantmon vanished and reappeared right behind them, grabbing them both by the back of their heads. Both of them flailed about in his grip before he reeled Apollomon back and chucked him into the air. Koh's Digimon stopped himself and turned around just in time for Dianamon to be thrown into him. They backed away from each other and looked down, but their reflexes weren't fast enough as ChaosGallentmon zoomed up and punched them in each of their guts. They yelled in pain and dropped their weapons as they were sent further up. ChaosGallentmon rushed them again and grabbed them each by an ankle and swung them down roughly. Dianamon and Apollomon screamed as they rocketed towards the ground and crashed.

"Dianamon!" Sayo screamed as ice shards flew at the Tamers.

"Apollomon!" Koh tried to shield himself. Both Dianamon and Apollomon were halfway into the ground with their legs sticking out. "How strong IS this guy?!"

ChaosGallentmon held out his hands and Bultmung and Gorgon flew back to him as he descended. Lilamon and MirageGaogamon each grabbed one of Dianamon's legs and pulled her out of the ground. ShineGreymon and MagnaAngemon did the same for Apollomon. "Charging wildly at him won't get us anywhere." Sayo said. "If we're going to win, we need a strategy."

"You're right." Koh said.

ShineGreymon chuckled. "Light Fang and Knight Crow working together to defeat ChaosGallentmon? What's the Digital World coming to?"

"Now's not the time to think that way." MirageGaogamon replied. "Sure, we may be from opposite sides of the CITY, and rivals, but right now we need to view each other as the same team."

"I agree." Dianamon said. "United we must stand. Divided, we'll surly fall."

"After all, both Light Fang and Night Crow are dedicated to protecting the Digital World." Apollomon added. "So, let's do just that! Together!"

Sayo and Koh nodded. "Okay." Sayo said. "MachGaogamon! Lilamon! Try to keep him still so Koh's Digimon have a clear shot!"

"Dbl Crescent!" MachGaogamon shot blades from his claws at ChaosGallantmon who blocked them with his shield.

"Pollen Spray!" The flower on Lailamon's back spewed yellow pollen that upon contact made ChaosGallentmon freeze. "Get him boys!"

"Heaven's Gate!" MagnaAngemon opened a gateway that unleashed a burst of light.

"Glorious Burst!" ShineGreymon threw a giant fireball. Both attacks struck together, hitting ChaosGallentmon square in the chest, knocking him down.

"It's working!" Koh said. "Keep it up!"

As he regained feeling in his body, ChaosGallentmon stood back up and held his shield in front of him. "Mystic Pulse!" He fired at the Digimon.

"Scatter!" Sayo ordered. The six Digimon flew in separate directions. ChaosGallentmon's eyes wandered everywhere struggling to keep up with so many targets.

"Now! Pin him!" Koh yelled. ShineGreymon swooped in, grabbing ChaosGallentmon's right arm. MirageGaogamon grabbed his left. Lilamon slid on the ground and used her legs to pin ChaosGallentmon's feet in a scissor hold. Just as he was about to shake them off, MagnaAngemon came in from behind and pulled his arms against ChaosGallantmon's neck in a hold. He roared as she struggled, trying to fling them off, but the Digimon held firm.

"Attack!" Sayo shouted.

"Now!" Koh ordered.

"01 Crusher!"

"Fatal Cross!" Dianamon and Apollomon charged and hit ChaosGallantmon with all their might. The knight was flung a good distance and crashed to the ground.

"Did that do it?" Sayo asked.

ChaosGallentmon slowly got up. "He's still not done?!" Koh asked.

"Uggh… I'm…"

"Wait!" Saya held her arm in front of Koh.

"…uh…ugh, my head…"

"Sir, can you hear me?"

Koh stepped forward. "ChaosGallentmon! Snap out of it!"

The knight gasped as he stood straight. "…Where am I? What am I…?"

"Are you alright?" Sayo asked.

"ChaosGallantmon…You were infected by a virus." Koh said.

"You were under the enemy's control just now." Dianamon added.

"Virus? Then I…" ChaosGallentmon looked behind him and spotted his Tamer. "Julia! He hurried over to her. "Julia, wake up! Sayo's here! How long do you intend to sleep?!"

Julia opened her eyes. She got to her knees gasping. "Where am I? Who am I…?"

"Chief Julia!" Sayo gasped. "Thank goodness!"

Julia stood up and regained her bearings. "ChaosGallentmon, what happened?"

Sayo, Koh, and ChaosGallantmon sighed. "Where do I start?" Sayo muttered.

"We fell into the enemy's trap and were being controlled." ChaosGallantmon replied.

Sayo and Koh hurried over to them. Julia turned to the boy. "You are…Koh of Light Fang?"

"Yes! Are you alright Chief Julia? Sayo, came just in time to save us."

"I see…Thank you Sayo."

"Well, I was worried when ChaosGallantmon attacked us. I don't think I could have stopped him without Koh's help. But more importantly, do you remember what happened? You two have been gone from City for some time, and nobody knew where you were."

"I received a strange email saying that Thriller Ruins had a secret, so ChaosGallantmon and I went to investigate…Evreything after that I can't remember…"

"The enemy was that strong?" Apollomon asked.

ChaosGallantmon sighed. "It seems that I was infected by the virus when City was attacked. I conducted a scan, but I guess the virus wasn't completely deleted…I made an error…"

Koh looked down. "The enemy is trying to get into every program in City in order to control everyone…"

"Is that so?!"

"So, I was being controlled also…" Julia muttered. "Could they have done something to me…"

"This virus is a threat to Digimon and Tamers alike. The monster that did this mentioned…YMIR…?" Sayo replied. "Unfortunately, our enemy gave me the slip…again."

"Sayo, don't blame yourself." Koh said. "I mean, you still fared better against him then I did…"

"I'm sure you both did your best." ChaosGallantmon replied. "Don't stress over it."

"At any rate, we have a bigger problem!" Julia said. "We have to protect the Digital World!"

"Roger." Sayo nodded.

ChaosGallantmon turned to the other Tamers who were still infected. "We have to do something about Ponch's group also. And that thing that's binding them…Is it a virus…We need to analyze it."

Julia nodded. "Right! Let's contact the Union immediately and ask for backup!"

As Julia took out her Digivice, Sayo turned to Koh. "By the way Koh, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to leave investigating this place to me while you went back to Sunshine City to get us more information. Did you get worried about being caught?"

"Oh, well uh…I kinda felt…well you see…"

"He changed his mind and rushed over here because he was worried about you coming to this place alone."

Koh's face heated up as he glared at his Digimon. "Apollomon!"

Apollomon grinned at him as ShineGreymon and MagnaAngemon laughed. "What? You were."

"Oh, don't worry about it Koh." Lailamon giggled. "Sayo was pretty worried about you going back to Sunshine alone too." Dianamon and MirageGaogamon chuckled.

It was Sayo's turn to blush and glare at her Digimon. "Lilamon!" Even Julia and ChaosGallantmon couldn't help but laugh.

Back at Darkmoon City, Sayo and Koh stood before Julia and ChaosGallantmon in the command room. "Looks like Ponch and the others will be alright." The Chief said.

"That's a relief." Sayo replied. "No lasting effects this time?"

"We reexamined everyone who was attacked by the enemy, so let's just wait and see for a while." ChaosGallantmon said.

"Okay."

"A vaccine was created from the viruses that were extracted from Ponch and the other's Digimon and we were able to restore Dark N Area of the Access Zone." Julia said.

"Now all areas of Darkmoon City have been restored." ChaosGallantmon said.

"That's great!" Sayo smiled. "Now Darkmoon's more or less back to normal!"

Koh sighed. Julia then looked at him. "Koh, are you worried about Sunshine City?"

"…Yes, I can't believe the other Light Fang were acting strangely because of a virus…Pulsa… Komachi…"

"Yes, like me…They either were infected when City was attacked or when they were attacked in the DigiArea…" ChaosGallangmon replied. Julia folded her arms and hummed. "Julia, what's the matter?"

"It's not a good idea to send Koh back to Sunshine City…"

Koh looked at her. "No…! But I have to save everyone!"

"Koh, think this through!" Sayo said. "Everyone of Light Fang is under their control! If you go back and try to stop them by yourself, you'll get overwhelmed and…and…!" Sayo didn't even want to think about the worst-case scenario. "If you're going back to Sunshine, I'm going with you!"

Koh looked at her in shock. "Sayo…!"

Julia shook her head. "No, you two. It's too dangerous to go back alone. Once Center Bridge is restored, we'll help you. Please wait until then."

"Hmm…I think it's safe to say that the Light Fang Tamers are being controlled by the enemy now…" ChaosGallantmon said.

Julia thought for a moment. "Sayo, will you take care of Koh until we defeat the enemy?"

Sayo's face turned slightly red. She and Koh looked at each other nervously. "Understood! I'll take care of Koh." Sayo replied a bit more eagerly than she wanted to sound.

Julia smiled. "Thank you, Sayo. You two get along."

"Sayo, thank you! I really appreciate it!" Koh replied, trying to ignore his rapidly flaring face.

Sayo started at the floor. "Yeah, sure, no problem…"

"Then that's settled!" Julia winked. "Now, we'll think of a plan to save Light Fang!"

"Thank you, Chief Julia." Koh bowed his head.

"Koh, we need to talk to Sayo, so do you think you can leave us alone?"

"Yes." Koh turned to Sayo. "Please let Phascomon know!"

"Will do." Sayo nodded.

"Chief Julia! ChaosGallantmon! Thank you very much!" Koh and the leaders of Night Crow saluted. Koh then left the room.

After they heard Koh teleport away, Julia looked at Sayo. "So Sayo, is it true the enemy said YMIR?"

"That's right. And Koh and ChaosGallentmon were both murmuring it while they were under the influence of the virus."

"Really…That means…"

ChaosGallentmon looked at her. "Julia…"

"Let's first check the database." She then turned to Sayo. "Sayo you be extra careful! Don't forget to stop by the Quest Center!"

"Right…" Sayo then left. "I hope we get to the bottom of this soon…for everyone's sake."

"Especially Koh's, right?" Lilamon sang.

"Especially Koh- Sayo froze and as she realized what was coming out of her mouth. She glared at her Digimon. "Lilamon!" The Tamer's Digimon laughed at her beat-red face.

Julia, ChaosGallentmon, Raigo and Zanbamon chuckled as Sayo stormed out of the Union Room. "I get the feeling things are going to get…interesting at Sayo's home."
