Koh was charging though the Chaos Brain as fast as he could. Apollomon, Dianamon, Seraphimon were with him along with ShineGreymon Burst Mode, who was crucial in defeating ChaosGallantmonC and freeing ChaosGallantmon and Chief Julia from Chrono's control. And now it was challenging him in the depths of this maze. He had already used one of the FullRepairTs Chief Julia gave him. The place was swarming with powerful Digimon.

"I hope we find that thing soon…" Koh said.

"Don't worry Koh." ShineGreymon said as he held his fiery sword and shield. "With this new power we unlocked we will prevail."

"I'm with you until the end as well." Seraphimon said.

"As am I." Apollomon nodded.

"Don't forget about me." Dianamon added.

"Thank you everyone." Koh smiled. "Dianamon…I appreciate that you trust me, even though you're not my Digimon."

"Of course, I trust you. After all, Sayo does. I would know."

"Huh?"

"As you know, us Digimon digivolve using DNA Charge. The power of human emotions. As such even though we are separated right now, I can sense Sayo's emotions giving me strength."

"Then…what is Sayo feeling right now?"

"Are you asking for me to peer into a girl's heart Koh for you?" Dianamon teased. "That's rather naughty of you."

Koh's face flared red. "Wha-NO! Nothing like that! I'm just worried! I mean we left her back at Sunshine, I can only imagine how uneasy she's feeling right now!"

Dianamon giggled. "Relax Koh, it was just a joke." Koh groaned before she continued. "Right now…Sayo is confident in us. She believes we can win and save everyone. But of course, she is worried about our wellbeing. And then there's that strong emotion I feel from her heart…"

"What kind of emotion is that?"

"That's going to be my little secret. It's something Sayo doesn't want out just yet."

Koh was lost in thought until he looked back in front of him and gasped when he saw something up ahead. "Look! It's that monster!"

"Gr…rrrr…rrrrr…Grrraaaaaaaahh!" Grimmon was glowing ominously.

The ChronoCore appeared above it. "Heheheheh…The time has come! The time in here to finally be complete! By using the digi-entelecheia collected from all the Digimon, now the ultimate Digimon will be born…" A black, fiery circle formed around Grimmon as it absorbed the ChronoCore.

Koh and his team braced themselves as a ominous light blinded them and a powerful force threatened to blow them away. "What's happening?!" Koh asked.

"I don't know…" Apollomon replied. "I've never seen anything like it!"

"Raaaaaaaahh!" A powerful roar was heard as the light died down. Koh looked up and gasped. Grimmon transformed. It's body was half red and half blue. The red side having a cannon for an arm, the blue side having a blade for the other arm. "Behold our power! My body is overflowing with energy! This is indeed complete power! Haahahaha!" The ground shook as he let out another roar.

"W-what is this…incredible power?!" Seraphimon asked.

"This is absurd…" Dianamon muttered. "He could destroy everything with that much energy!"

"Then we have to stop him!" Koh ran over to the Digimon. "Chrono! Here I am, just like you wanted!"

"Koh, you made it… Why was a Real Being like you, able to defy us who are like gods in the Digital World? We still do not understand."

"Clearly, there's a lot you jokers don't get. If you really were as powerful as you think you are, ChaosGallantmon wouldn't have broken free from your control!"

"You are no gods." Apollomon added. "Just a foolish, failed experiment taking its anger out on everyone around them for being lost and forgotten to time!"

"But no matter. Now that ChaosGrimmon, the perfect Digimon is born, no one can get in our way! Perish Real Being!" The monster roared again.

"This is it everyone." Koh said. "Let's finish this!"

"Right!" The four Digimon charged towards ChaosGrimmon.

"Call Leyner!" Poisonous rain came down. Dianamon and Apollomon swerved out of the way, but the moment the precipitation came down on ShineGreymon and Seraphimon, they fell. Dianamon came at ChaosGrimmon from it's left with her weapon, Apollomon's fist glowed red as he attacked from it's right. But ChaosGrimmon blocked both of them with its arms.

ShineGreymon got up and attacked. "Geomgm Napalm!" He summoned a pillar of lames that scorched ChaosGrimmon. As it was weakened Apollomon and Dianamon continued their assault. Despite blocking every attack, ChaosGrimmon was slowly pushed back.

"That's it!" Koh said. "Keep up the pressure!"

ChaosGrimmon flew above them. "Multi Gatling!" it fired multiple shots from its red arm at Apollomon. Each one burst into flames as it hit the ground. Apollomon franticly dodged them until he was caught in the explosion from one of them bombarded.

Dianamon charged at him. "Crescent Harken!"

"Chaos Slash!" Dianamon tried to block ChaosGrimmon's blade, but the force of the strike still knocked her into the ground with a loud crash.

"Starlight EX!" Seraphimon shot pure light at ChaosGrimmon that exploded.

"Call Machines!" Black clouds flew at Seraphimon weakening him before ChaosGrimmon charged down, ramming him to the ground. ShineGreymon Burst Mode charged again. He swung his sword at ChaosGrimmon who blocked with his own blade before shooting him point-blank. ShineGreymon was flung to the ground. ChaosGrimmon laughed. "Hahahahaha! Our power has expanded beyond our wildest dreams! With this we are the most powerful being in the Digital World! Nobody can beat us now!"

Koh used another FullRepairT. "Come on guys, get up! If we lose here, it's all over for everyone! We didn't come this far just to get beaten at the very end!"

Apollomon stood up. "You're right Koh. Loosing here is simply not an option!"

Seraphimon and the others stood up as well. "You're annoyingly stubborn." ChaosGrimmon said. "Right to the bitter end you resist. Very well. We'll grant you the honor of being the first to be destroyed by the ultimate being!"

"ShineGreymon, you'll be our main offense." Koh said. "The rest of you, cover him."

"Sounds like a plan." ShineGreymon charged again.

"Multi Gatling!" ChaosGrimmon shot at ShineGreymon who blocked with his shield.

"Seven Heavens!" Seraphimon fired golden spheres at ChaosGrimmon making it stumble.

ShineGryemon then saw his opening. "Burst Breath!" He blasted ChaosGrimmon with fire.

"Curse you!" Chaos Grimmon charged at ShineGreymon with its blade ready.

"01 Crusher!" Dianamon charged in and engaged in a duel with it. ChaosGrimmon stepped back as it blocked he swipes.

"Solblaster!" Apollomon hit him from behind.

ShineGreymon turned his shield into a second fiery sword. "Shine Slash!" She swung the blades and smashed ChaosGrimmon's cannon and slicing his sword in half.

ChaosGrimmon stepped back. "How…?! We've had enough of you!" ChaosGrimmon started to glow. "Disappear! Chrono…!"

"Get back everyone!" Koh said.

"Destruction!" He unleashed a powerful blast as the Digimon hurried in front of Koh. They braced themselves as they were hit.

ChoasGrimmon laughed. "We put all our power in that attack. There's no way they could have…Ah!" He looked up and saw Koh and his Digimon perfectly fine. Seraphimon set up a barrier. "I-impossible!"

Koh's eyes burned with determination. "Let's end this."

ShineGreymon merged his fire swords into one massive blade of flames that he held over his head. "Corona Blaze S!" He swung the blade down upon ChaosGrimmon.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!" The monster screamed as it was engulfed in flames.

As dust clouded the impact ShineGreymon retracted his sword. "Did I get him?"

ChaosGrimmon was on the ground. Right arm and left leg missing, its wings full of holsed and it's face cracked. "How…! How can we lose…To the likes of you?!"

"I'd say you did." Apollomon said.

"We did it!" Dianamon said. "Now to finish him off!"

"It's over ChaosGrimmon!" Koh declared. Suddenly the ground started shaking. "Huh?"

"Wh…what's this?!" ChaosGrimmon asked. He started cackling with black electricity. "No… It can't be!"

The vibrating got so rough Koh fell over. "Ahhh!"

Apollomon turned to him. "Koh!"

"Aaaarrrggh!" ChaosGrimmon was swallowed by a black fiery orb.

"What's going on?!" Koh shouted. The arb exploded in black light turning the room pitch black. When he could see again he looked in front of him and his body turned cold. "No…no way…"

A black and purple dragon let our a mighty roar. ExoGrimmon was born. "Heheheh… So this is digivolution…"

"Chorno data learned how to Digivolve…?" Dianamon asked. "How…?"

The beast looked at its hands. "Magnificent…I never knew the ultimate Digimon was this amazing…"

ShineGreymon Burst Mode was stunned into silence for a bit before growling. "Corona Blaze S!" He brought out his humongous sword again and swung down. But it shattered upon contact with ExoGrimmon. "What?!"

"H-how?!" Koh shouted. "How much stronger did that thing get?!"

ExoGrimmon laughed. "Now, prepare to receive the ultimate Chrono Destruction capable of destroying the Digital World!"

"W-what?!" Koh shuddered.

"You're bluffing!" ShineGreymon Burst Mode said.

"Ami I? Let's find out." ExoGrimmon's body crackled with electricity. "Chrono…Destruction!" A burst of energy erupted.

ShineGreymon Burst Mode held up his shield as Apollomon, Dianamon and Seraphimon braced themselves. They were enveloped in the explosion. "Guys!" Koh watched in horror as the attack drew near and enveloped him. A shock ran through his head. "W-what…is…this…" It was far stronger than what he was hit with at Access Glacier. He was flung off his feet. Sayo's Digivice flew out of his pocket as he landed on his back and rolled across the floor.

ExoGrimmon looked at the unconscious Koh and the four Digimon on the ground. "Heheheh… Even you won't be able to defend yourself… Chrono Destruction degrades and destroys all data in the Digital World…This next blow will erase your existence from the Digital World…" Electricity crackled through his body again. "But don't worry…Soon all the Real Beings on this server will follow your fate. Then all Digimon… We will make the Digital World itself perish. That is our goal! That is the reason for our existence!" ExoGrimmon roared. "Now perish before us!" Chrono Destruction!" It let lose another blast.

Koh's eyes were closed as it approached. "Sa…yo…"

After the burst settled down ExoGrimmon grinned. But then he saw Koh was still on the ground unconscious, but unharmed. "Wh…What?!" Why won't you perish?!" He looked around. Apollomon, Dianamon, ShineGreymon, and Seraphimon also survived.

"Sa…yo…" Koh muttered still unconscious. His own Digivice was glowing.

He saw something. Heard something. It was the Union Room back at Sunshine City. Sayo was there. "Koh! You can do it!"

"Sayo…"

It wasn't just Sayo there. "Koh! We're all rooting for you! Come on now! Koh! Get up! Get on your feet!"

"Pulsa…"

"What's the matter, Koh! Are you giving up already?"

"Komachi…"

"Get up! Koh! Show them what the Light Fang have got!"

"Chief Glare…"

"Don't give up! Koh! You can win! I know you can!"

"Ophanimon…"

ShineGreymon and Seraphimon slowly got up. "Not yet…" ShineGreymon murmured.

"It's not over yet!" Seraphimon grunted.

"Every…one…" Koh's Digivice burst with golden light. Orange DNA charge surged around him.

Sayo clasped her hands together. "Koh…You're undoubtedly the strongest person I know. Nothing can shake my faith in that. I know you can do this. You're not just rival, you're my friend as well. So please…stand up! Win this battle! For Night Crow. For Light Fang. For the Digital World! Even if I can't be there right now…" Purple DNA Charge erupted from her body. "I'll still be fighting with you! You're not alone!"

"Sayo…I can feel it…" Koh's hand slowly reached out and grabbed Sayo's Digivice. Purple DNA Charge burst from it and merged with his own. It turned into a golden DNA Charge. "Sayo's strength…her emotions…"

"Koh…!" Apollomon sat up.

"Sayo…!" Dianmon got on her knees.

Golden light enveloped from Koh blinding ExoGrimmon. When he could see again, Koh was back on his feet. "What?! …How?!"

"Finally, awake Koh?" ShineGreymon chuckled.

Koh smiled. "Yeah. Guess I slept in again, huh?"

Seraphimon laughed. "How about we wrap this up so you can turn in early?"

"Yeah." Koh looked at both the digivices in his hands. He used the last FullRepairT "Everyone's giving us their support…Let's finish this and go home! They're all waiting!"

Apollomon got back on his feet. "I can feel your DNA Charge Koh…it's stronger than ever before."

Dianamon got up. "Sayo's too…" Her body started to glow blue. "Huh?"

Apollomon glowed yellow. "What is this?"

Koh closed his eyes. His golden DNA Charge surging. "Dianamon…that strong emotion Sayo has…I think I know what it is. It's her desire to live and protect. To be with those she cares about. That's what fuels her as a Tamer. Her motivation…I can feel swirling inside me…" His DNA Charge grew. Apollomon and Dianamon glowed brighter.

Apollomon opened his eyes. "Chrono…Whether it be by the sun of dawn…"

Dianamon's eyes snapped open. "Or the moon of dusk…"

"Your shadows will always meet the light!" Koh shouted. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" The golden DNA Charge exploded.

ExoGrimmon grimaced. "I won't let you!" He charged towards Koh. Only to be hit by a fiery shield that flew back to ShineGreymon.

ShineGryemon Burst Mode and Seraphimon landed in front of the beast. "If you want to get to Koh, you'll have to go right through us first."

"Insolent pests! Death God!" ExoGrimmon summoned a phantom with a scythe.

"Shine Slash!" ShineGreymon charged at it and blocked its weapon with two swords.

Seraphimon flew above the target. "Fatal Cannon!" His attack blasted ExoGrimmon in the face.

"Air God!" A spirit appeared above them and dropped a bolt of lightning that exploded. Seraphimon flew around, avoiding them. Once he got some distance, he set his sights on the spirit. "Starlight EX!" The creature exploded in golden light. He then faced ExoGrimmon and started charging power. "Seven…" ExoGrimmon shot a purple laser from its mouth at him. Then ShineGreymon who had just slain the Death God swopped in front of Seraphimon and blocked it with his shield. He then ducked to let Seraphimon have a clear shot. "Heavens!" He sired seven golden orbs that exploded upon contact with the creature.

"H-how are they suddenly stronger?!"

ShineGreymon held up a massive fire sword. "Corona Blaze S!" He slammed it down on ExoGrimmon. This time doing massive damage.

ExoGrimmon growled. "Begone you pests! Prominence!" It summoned bursts of flame engulfing ShineGreymon Burst Mode and Seraphimon. Both of them dropped to the ground. "And now, to finish this!" A flash of gold got his attention. "Huh?"

Koh's eyes were closed as the golden DNA Charge around him flowed to Apollomon and Dianamon. "Chrono…let me show you what true evolution looks like!" Text appeared on the screens of the two Digivices.

FUSION EVOLUTION

"Charge!" Koh held the two digivices crossing his arms. "DNA…" He held his arms apart and his aura flowed into them turning them from orange and purple to a matching gold. "Digifuse!" He slammed the tops of them together and a golden light flew out above Apollomon and Dianamon forming a ring.

"Apollomon…" Apollomon's body turned pure orange.

"Dianamon…" Dinamon's body turned pure violet.

The two of them were lifted into the ring, spinning back-to-back. "DNA Digivolve to…" The white light that filled the ring consumed them. Something else emerged from the top of said ring. A large Digimon clade in white and red armor, with golden hair and eight azure blades floating at its back. It wore a silver cape with an inside that looked like a starry cosmos. Its red hands had palms glowing with blue radiance. "GraceNovamon!"

From SunshineCITY Sayo gasped. "Dianamon…and Apollomon…merged together?"

"Amazing…" Chief Glare breathed.

"It's so cool!" Pulsa added.

"Heh. To think little Coronamon and Lunamon became that." ShineGreymon chuckled.

"Both of them have grown up so much." Seraphimon replied.

GraceNovamon looked down at ExoGrimmon. It spoke with the voices of both Digimon it fused from. "Chrono…You don't belong in this world. I will not allow you to destroy this server that is loved by so many."

"And who do you think you are to decide if we belong?!"

"I am the sun that sustains life in this world. I am the moon that gives rhythm to guide it. I…am a light formed by humans caring for humans. Digimon caring for Digimon. And humans caring for Digimon." GraveNovamon descended to the floor, and its blue eyes flashed. "Are you prepared to meet your fate?"

"Don't make us laugh! We are the true power of evolution! We are the inevitable! You cannot stop us! Air God!" A bolt of lightning dropped on GraceNovamon and exploded. But it didn't even react. "Wha…?! Death God!" ExoGrimmon summoned a phantom to attack but it dissolved the moment it touched GraceNovamon. "Prominence!" It summoned a burst of flame that engulfed GraceNovamon. But the Digimon walked out of the flames and approached ExaGrimmon. "N-no!" The Digimon stepped backwards. "Stay back!"

The eight swords on GraceNovamon glowed. "Calydon Arcus!" The blades flew off it and homed in on ExoGrimmon who tried to shoot at them, but they were too agile. They slashed into ExoGrimmon who winced as it was repeatedly sliced. The blades picked up speed and the dragon lost it's wings and tail. Soon it was full of holes and on all fours. "It can't be…!"

GraceNovamon floated in front of ExoGrimmon with a palm held out to its face. Koh also had his palm held out. And for a brief moment, ExoGrimmon could see Sayo standing with him doing the same. "Begone."

"Eclipse Finger." GraceNovamon's hand flashed and ExoGrimmon glowed blue.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" ExoGrimmon started to melt. "…I…have…lost." It exploded in a purple blast and all that was left was a spark representing the ChronoCore. "… It…appears that our plan ends here…Grimmon could not… …withstand Chrono Data…"

"Chrono Data is nothing compared to the power of true Digimon evolution." Koh said. "The power of human bonds."

The core went silent. "…If only Chronomon…were here…"

"Huh? Chronomon?" Koh asked.

The spark faded away. GraceNovamon glowed white before splitting back into Apollomon and Dianamon. "Finally…It's finally over." Apollomon said.

"Yes…It is." Dianamon replied.

"Never again will YMIR threaten humans and Digimon." ShineGreymon Burst Mode said.

"The world is safe again." Seraphimon added. "Peace has been restored."

Koh smiled proudly. "Let's go home. The others are waiting for us."

Koh teleported into the Union Room. All the staff was cheering for him, to his surprise as he approached the ramp with his Digimon and Dianamon following him. Chief Glare, Chief Julia, Ophanimon, ChaosGallantmon, Pulsa, and Komachi were waiting for him with Sayo in front. When he came up Sayo threw her arms around him. "Koh, Dianamon, you're amazing!"

"Heh, heh…Thanks Sayo." Koh said hugging her back for a moment before they parted.

Dianamon flew over to where MirageGaogamon and Lotosmon stood. "All's well, that ends well."

"Good work!" Pulsa hurried over and patted Koh on the back. "I knew you could do it!"

"Yeah, right Pulsa!" Komachi grinned. "Now you say that!"

Sayo and Koh laughed. "Wh…what do you mean?!" Pulsa asked. "I knew he could do it!" He then turned back to Koh. "Koh, you did it! You're amazing!"

Komachi wiped a tear from her eye. "Really! I'm so amazed, Koh…I actually saw you fighting!"

"Really?" Koh asked.

"That's right!" Sayo nodded. "I don't know how… But we all saw you inside our hearts! And…when that powerful attack almost finished you, that's when we were all cheering for you! Did you hear us?"

Koh nodded. "I did."

"Really, you did?" Pulsa asked.

"Yeah. When I was hit, I felt like every part of my body shut down all at once. Then I heard voices…and then I could see all of you cheering me on. It gave me the strength to get back up."

"Really? That's amazing!"

"And Sayo…" Koh smiled and took Sayo's hand. She felt him place something in it. She looked and found her own black and purple digivice in her hand. "I couldn't have done this without you." Koh smiled. "Your emotions gave me the most strength. We did it together. I would have lost without your help."

Sayo smiled as she put her digivice back around her neck. "I'm glad I could help."

"So, is everyone alright?" Chief Glare asked. Everyone turned to him. "Koh…You did great! You saved everyone!"

Chief Julia nodded. "Yes…You not only saved us Night Crow, but also the Union and everyone on this server. Thank you!"

"You're the savior that saved both DarkmoonCITY and SunshineCITY!" ChaosGallantmon said. "Thank you so much!"

"Koh, thank you!" Ophanimon said. "You saved me a number of times… Sunshine and Darkmoon… DigitalCITY is saved."

Chief Glare nodded. "So as a token of our gratitude for saving CITY… Koh, we want to give you this!" He walked over to Koh and sent something to his Digivice. Koh received a Cosmo Medal and a Shine Sword. "This is a one-of-a-kind medal and sword on this server…They're very special items that existed before DigitalCITY was built. Take good care of them!"

Chief Julia nodded. "Yes… That's why we want you to have it…As a symbol to show that you are the Tamer that saved CITY…"

"Koh, we're going to continue to count on you!"

Koh saluted. "Yes sir!" Everyone cheered. "I'll always fight for the sake of humans and Digimon. No matter what comes up next, I'll face it head on! Just…right after I…take a…" Koh's eyelids started to grow heavy as he fell.

"Koh?!" Sayo rushed over and caught him before he hit the ground. "What happened?!"

Everyone rushed over. "Is he okay?!" Apollomon asked.

As they gathered, they looked at Koh's peaceful face and heard light breathing. "Is he…asleep?" Chief Julia asked.

"Of course, he is." Pulsa sighed. "Still laid back as always."

"Hey now, I think he earned himself a break, he just saved the Digital World." Chief Glare replied.

"You're right." Ophanimon replied. "Let him rest. We should get him to his home."

"Good idea." Komachi replied. "Pulsa, carry him."

"Why me?!"

"Of for goodness' sake you two." Sayo grumbled. She shifted Koh so she had one arm under his back and the other under his legs and stood up, lifting him. "I'll get him home."

Everyone looked at her in surprise. "Wow Sayo…you're stronger than you look." Chief Julia replied.

Lotosmon looked at how Sayo was carrying Koh and smirked. "You know…I'm pretty sure the knight in shinning armor should be carrying his princess like that, not the other way around."

The room broke into laughter as Sayo's cheeks turned pink. "Very funny." She turned around and walked away. Her and Koh's Digimon followed her.

"Quite the dynamic duo those two make." Chief Glare grinned.

"Indeed." Chief Julia smiled. "Even thought hey may be on different sides of CITY, they share a special bond."

The next morning, Koh opened his eyes and groaned as the sunlight assaulted his vision. He was in bed back at his Tamer Home. "Morning, sleepy head." Koh turned his head to the side to see Sayo sitting in a chair next to him.

Gatomon was close by. "You're awake. Good morning Koh!"

Koh yawned and sat up. "Good morning… Wait a minute, Sayo? What're you doing here?"

"Thought I'd check in on you. You were out like a light."

"You should have seen her carrying you in here like a princess." Gatomon giggled. "Talk about a switcheroo!"

"Wait, what?" Koh muttered. "Uh…thanks Sayo." He muttered uncomfortably.

Sayo averted her gaze. "No problem, I mean it's not like you're heavy or anything…"

"But, Pulsa and Komachi didn't see you carry me, did they?"

"They were right there when you passed out."

"Right…" Koh groaned. "They're never going to let me hear the end of this…"

Sayo smirked. "I think you saving the world makes up for it, tough guy. You're rep will live."

"I agree." Apollomon approached with the rest of Koh and Sayo's Digimon. "You saved countles lives after all."

Koh shook his head and looked at everyone with him. "No. We saved countless lives."

Gatomon giggled. "You were so popular yesterday. Everyone in CITY was praising you. Everyone was even telling me how great my Tamer is! I was so proud!"

Koh rubbed the back of his head. "Heh, heh…thanks Gatomon."

"Oh yeah, after we got you in your bed, Chief Glare called to tell you to get your reward at the Quest Center."

"Didn't he reward me personally yesterday?"

"There's still the official Quest reward! Go check it out later! Keep striving to be a better Tamer."

"I will." Koh smiled. "I'm going to keep getting stronger."

"You better." Sayo said with a teasing grin as she playfully punched Koh's arm. "Because just you wait! One of these days, I'm gonna kick your butt! After all, I'm not just your friend, but your rival as well!"

Koh grinned back and patted her head. "You go ahead and try." He climbed out of his bed and stretched. "Well, time to get back to it." Sayo smirked as Koh stretched his arms out leaving his sides vulnerable. Next thing she knew her fingers poked at them. "AGH!" He covered his sides immediately. "Hey!"

Sayo giggled. "Sorry, couldn't resist!"

"Oh, now you're asking for it." Koh grinned. Sayo ran off with Koh chasing after her. The Digimon laughed as their Tamers ran around the Tamer Home until Koh got close enough to wrap his arms around her and lift her off her feet. Sayo shrieked as she flailed her legs before Koh made her lie down and loomed over her. "Like tickling, do ya?" Sayo's laughter echoed throughout the home as he tickled her mercilessly.

Apollomon chuckled as he watched. "And to think those two are the saviors of the world and the best of Light Fang and Night Crow."

Dianamon put a hand on his shoulder. "Oh, come now, they're still kids. Besides, who in this world would be in any position to judge their ability at this point?"

Back at the Union Room Chief Glare and Ophanimon were talking to Chief Julia and ChaosGallantmon via the monitor. "What? You also received a letter from them?" ChaosGallantmon asked.

Chief Glare nodded. "Yes. They said they want to challenge the Union. I take it they sent you the same thing?"

"They did." Chief Julia replied. "But why so suddenly? I was under the impression we were being ignored by them."

"I think I know why." Ophanimon replied. "They must have taken an interest in us after that Chrono incident. Now they want to see how strong the Union is."

"I think you're right." ChaosGallantmon replied. "If that's true, then the one they must really want to challenge is…"

"Koh." Chief Glare replied.

"But if that's the case, why would they send us a letter as well?" Chief Julia asked.

"Hmmm…" Ophanimon muttered. "Knowing them, they've been keeping careful watch over recent events…maybe they know Koh had a little help from a certain someone on your end?"

ChaosGallantmon nodded. "Perhaps…Maybe it wouldn't hurt to send them both in, would it?"

Chief Glare smiled. "I agree. Those two are the best team we have."

"Sayo said she was going to check on Koh." Chief Julia said. "I'll bet they're both still at his Tamer Home."

"I'll give Gatomon a call and see if they're both there."

Ophanimon quietly muttered to herself. "The Gaia Origin…"

Back at Koh's Tamer Home, the homeowner was currently on the floor with Sayo sitting behind him with his arms in a hold. Koh was busy giving Sayo a taste of her own medicine when Gatomon snuck up on him and started tickling his neck with her tail. Now that Sayo had him pinned down, Gatomon rolled up his shirt to flick her tail at his belly.

"STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP IT!" Koh was practically begging.

"Do you surrender then?" Sayo asked.

"NEVHEHEHEHEHER!"

"Wow, you just don't give in, do you?" Gatomon teased. "I guess that's what makes you the hero of the Digital World. Lucky, we have other ways to make you give up!" She jumped off Koh's lap and grabbed one of his feet.

"W-wait…" Koh wheezed. "Don't you dare!" He was too weak to resist as his NaviDigimon yanked his shoes off.

Gatomon was about to peel off one of his socks when she heard a ring. "Aw! Right when we were getting to the fun part! I better see who's calling. Sayo, don't let our prisoner escape!" The Digimon turned around and left.

"Okay!" Sayo smiled. "When you come back, bring something he can tie him up with so I can join you! Also, bring a couple of brushes!"

"No! Not that!" Koh grunted and squirmed. Frantic struggling freed and arm which he used to poke Sayo's belly.

"Yeek!" Sayo shrieked as Koh got his other arm out and stood up, but he didn't get far before Sayo pounced on him and wrapped her arms around his legs making him fall over. "Ha! Nice Try!" She sat on his back to keep him from getting up and grabbed his wrists, pinning them to the floor at his sides. "Silly little Light Fang boy! You thought you could escape our grasp so easily?"

Koh panted heavily unable to get the smile off his face. "Ju…just you wait you Night Crow sadist… I'll get the last laugh…"

"I think right now, you're getting all the laughs." Sayo smirked. "Seriously though, you just don't like giving up no matter how dire or humiliating the situation, do you?"

Koh grinned. "Not…my style…Even if it looks like…like I'm going to lose…I want to at least know I did everything I could…that way…I have no regrets…"

Sayo smiled. "That's what makes you so stubborn huh? Well, that stubbornness has seen you through a lot. But will today be the day you finally have to give up? As soon as Gatomon gets back we'll have to find out~!"

Koh grunted as she tried to get up, but he lacked the energy to push Sayo off him. He looked up and say Gatomon at the top of the ladder and shuddered knowing the hour of judgment was upon him. "Oh boy…"

Sayo looked at the cat Digimon. "Huh? Where're the brushes Gatomon?"

"I hate to do this Sayo, but I'm going to have to ask that we release our ticklish prey."

Koh let out a big sigh of relief, to Sayo's amusement. But she was still confused. "Did something happen?"

"I dunno, but Chief Glare said he was talking to Chief Julia, and they have a Quest they want both of you to work together on. He says to talk to him in the Union Room for more details."

"Huh? Both of us together?" Koh asked. "Why would they ask that? We're from two opposite sides of CITY."

"Maybe because we work together so well." Sayo smiled. "What do you think? Sounds like fun."

"But I'm tired now…" Koh groaned.

Sayo grabbed Koh's ankles and lifted his legs up while keeping herself planted on his back. "You can either go on this Quest with me or stay here to be tickled by me and Gatomon all day. Take your pick." She grinned as her fingers touched Koh's heels.

"THE QUEST! THE QUEST!"

"Good boy!" Gatomon and Sayo teased. The Night Crow Tamer got off him and helped him up. Koh took a moment to catch his breath and put his shoes back on.

Apollomon floated down with the rest of Koh and Sayo's Digimon. "Shall we get going?"

"I'm ready for more adventures." Dianamon added.

Sayo put a hand on Koh's back and winked. "Ready to show the Digital World we saved what the Union can really do?"

Koh smirked. "You know it. Let's go! Our story is just getting started!"

And there you have it. The end of my Digimon World Dawn/Dusk story. And before anyone says anything, yes, GraceNovamon isn't part of the games, but I couldn't resist, it's a fusion between Sayo and Koh's starter Digimon. I did enjoy this ride and maybe I'll do another story on this Digital World someday, but for now I should focus on continuing my other Digimon adventure with the world of Pokemon in the mix. I hope you all enjoyed reading this, and I appreciate all the support it got as I wrote it.
