Lucien was dragged back to the castle by his hair, Mother Miranda tossing him into the centre of the chamber, ripping a strand from his head as he collapsed to the floor. Lucien held the back of his head in pain as the first of the lands nobles arrived. Lady Alicia Dimitrescu, punctual as usual, sauntered over to Miranda's side to stare down at Lucien. Both scornful women cast judgement with their gaze like hungry wolves looking to pick off the weakest link.
"I wasn't planning on this, he was supposed to stay in the den where I told him to wait," Alcnia explained calmly, but her voice went cross as she addressed the vampire kneeling on the floor.
"The fact you kept him disappoints me daughter." Mother Miranda responded.
"You should have killed me," Lucien stated.
"I kept him? Ha!" Alcnia wanted to scoff, dragging her nails over her lips nervously while she paced around Lucien. Ethan was coming, and she wanted him so badly, so to scorn Mother Miranda now would make her suffer later.
"Are you suggesting I wanted this thing?" Mother asked curiously as a devilish chuckle broke up their battle.
"Well, you keep taking him away from me." Alcina pursed her lips innocently.
"Lucien knows how to listen." Mother Miranda huffed her chest up, "I ask him to do something it gets done, and if you would stop tormenting him I could get more done." Mother Miranda stated as crossed her arms delicately. Alcina mimicking her posture with a little more sway to her hips.
"Well, the grounds of Castle Dimitrescu are mine to dictate are they not? Lucien is the groundskeeper and my husband. He chose to be with me, so if he doesn't want to listen to you he doesn't have to. He will listen to me" Alcina mused victoriously.
"I allowed it to stay. Even ensured he would live alongside you forever. Remember, and I can take it away as easy as a " Mother Miranda threatened.
"Don't talk about me like I am not here." Lucien interrupted.
"What was that love?" Lady Dimitrescu asked barely turning around to look at him.
"Lord Lucien Dimitrescu, what did I tell you about her?" Karl Heisenberg walked in.
"That is not my name." Lucien snarled.
"It is now, you best be getting used to it, friend. You're married." Karl smirked and walked up to Lucien to pinch him on the cheek. The vampire lashed his fangs and attempted to bite the Lucan leader as squeals echoed the chambers
"Yes! Yes yes! Fight fight! Hehehehe Hahahaha!" The little doll Angie danced the room as Donna Bevenito mastered her strings. Gracefully taking a seat to watch as Lucien circled the room stalked by Karl every step.
"Ahh, the farm boy has fangs now, too bad they weren't sharpened to save your cattle." Karl laughed manically.
"Murderer!" Lucien's anger boiled over as he finally lunged for Karl. Heisenberg punched him as hard as he could, and the vampire doubled over. Karl's cocky sneer made him turn to gloat, giving Lucien time to kick his knee out and throw a wild haymaker across his jaw. Lucien was approached by Salvatore Moreau, who put a hand on his shoulder and pulled him away from Heisenberg before he could react.
"Lady D I never took you for a woman who wastes good blood." Karl snarled and he clicked his jaw back into place.
"What can I say, there is more to him than meets the eye." The lady said as she placed a fresh cigarillo into her flute. Then she delicately made her way over to the raging vampire who glowered at her with red eyes in the dark. The click of her black lace heels breaking the silence in the room. Lady Dimitrescu held her smoke towards Lucien expectantly, her lips pursed on the ivory mouthpiece as the "Lord" sighed.
"Don't keep me waiting, my pet," Alcina said as Lucien reached into his trouser pocket, pulling out a lighter made of silver. He quickly flicked it open the flame a little too close for comfort as Alcina tilted her head back to avoid burning her hat. Alcina took her sweet time pulling her first drag off the joint before she blew the smoke into his face. Quickly he stashed the lighter in his pocket as Alcina chuckled proudly.
"Thank you, darling." She purred and bopped his nose with her finger.
"You are too involved with this man to see he behaves improperly." Mother Miranda announced.
"But Mother Miranda!" Alcina turned around.
"Lord Heisenberg, see to it that Lucien is under control." Mother Miranda ordered as Karl licked his lips distracted by another thought.
"Me? Oh perfect. I can finally find out why you're the heartthrob here." Karl chortled and got up. "We gotta move quickly, there is so much fun to have."
"I am not some toy to be passed around between people! I run the farm, I keep your bottles filled with wine and the humans come for you to feast!" Lucien shouted and moved back away from Heisenberg who approached him. All the Lycans in the room growling at him.
"It's called reconditioning Luci, gotta make you remember your place," Heisenberg said as the vampire realized what was happening.
"I don't want to run the maze." Lucien stuttered.
"They're coming to eat you," Heisenberg replied as the wolves barked. Lucien slipped on the gravel as he tried to run, stumbling his first step as he took off out of the biting range of one of the Lycans and ran into Heisenberg's twisted playground.
"What are you going to do with him?" Alcina asked and snarled.
"Oh, Kill him perhaps." Heisenberg chuckled.
"No." Mother Miranda stated.
"What!" Karl barked.
"You will break him. He has yet to feast upon human blood, perhaps it is time to feed him." Mother Miranda ordered.
"Ah, alright. He won't eat unless he's hungry though." Karl said and swung his hammer around to hoist onto his shoulder.
"Then weaken him until he is." Mother Miranda stated the obvious.
As the Lycans rushed after Lucien leaving the heads of the houses alone together. Lady Dimitrescu was biting the tip of her blade, poking her lip so she could feel it barely pierce her skin. Watching Lucien chased off and given to her rival making her eyes glowed red.
"What about Ethan Winters, It was the baby that stirred Lucien to betray me in the first place," Alcina spoke abruptly.
"Oh, that's right." Karl paused at the tunnel watching his pups go play. "I have time to greet everyone before I address our friends' attitude problem," Karl said and swung around and headed for a different door.
"Oh, not unless I find him first." Lady Dimitrescu threatened as she collected herself and left. Karl playing with the butt of his cigar as he needed to move faster if he wanted everything under his control.
Karl held a radio to his lips, speaking into it so he could taunt Lucien as he ran through the maze.
"Watch out my dear, my darling little Mishka didn't get fed today. So if you see her I would steer clear." Heisenberg warned, his voice echoing off the stone walls as Lucien ran past the speaker. Lucien looked back to see a horde of Lycans following him and pushing him through the maze. The vampire panicked and jumped off the path and fell onto a ledge that was not part of Karl's layout. Skidding down the stone walls to get to another platform to flee whoever this Mishka was. His free fall onto the stone should have broken his ankle, however, he was back up and running as the bone fixed itself. His mouth was full of sand as he had to slow down and try and breathe, yet nothing helped. His blood was pumping and draining his face of whatever colour was left as he ran for his life.
