Ethan had been found by Karl and ran the maze himself soon after the Lycans had calmed from Lucien's attempt. Lucky enough to fit into the dugout damaged by the spinning barrels of death Heisenberg designed in his sadistic funhouse. Rubbing his sore wrists, Ethan pressed forward into the broken prototypes of torment discarded in the tunnels beneath the castle. Ethan's breath was ragged, as he felt the veins in his eye pulsing. The anxiety of fear began to settle before a panicked voice caught his attention. Beyond the busted components of spinning, the blade was another path of caverns. There Lucien was a few steps away from reaching the next door before a massive beast captured him with its jaws. Tossing him around the room like a rag doll until Heisenberg stepped in. Lighting a fresh cigar as Lucien struggled to fight the beast.

They danced around the cage, and the vampire moved like a bull rider in the pen. The beast charged, and he quickly dodged to avoid its snapping jaw. Once the maw was closed, Lucien clawed its nose and scruffed it behind the neck. Heisenberg licked his lips tasting the tobacco stain on his teeth, admiring Lucien's physic. The broad shoulders allowed the vampire to control the beast like it was a dog. Pinning it to the ground as he knelt on the creature's neck. Its growls changed from aggressive to submissive, as it wailed before the sickening snap of its neck made it go limp. The last squealing bark eliciting a laugh from Heisenberg.

"What a show!" Heisenberg cheered as he approached the gate. The sweat running down Lucien mixed with the blood as it contoured his muscular frame.

The vampire had been ravaged by various monsters escaping the tunnels to survive. Had fed upon the diseased blood they possessed to heal his wounds. The mad scientist fascinated by the vampire as he watched Lucien uncontrollably sink his teeth into the dead creature and drink the blood. Only to nearly vomit it out after a few seconds of feasting. His face was clammy and pale, as everything was causing flu-like symptoms in him.

"I'm shocked! I never took you as the type to throw your morals away to survive. Well, am I not happy to be wrong?" Karl said as he flicked his lighter a few times before putting it away.

Ethan kept quiet, crouching behind the broken wall to listen in. Lucien struggled to stand back up, the blood-fed him, but the reaction to it was violent. His veins turned black, as each wound looked like it festered with blight or plague before it healed. His eyes were completely bloodshot and red as he knocked over a lamp and shattered the bulb on the floor. The sparks flickering in the room as Heisenberg pushed Lucien against the wall to steady him.

"What's happening to me?" Lucien groaned as he doubled over about to throw up.

"I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the diseased blood of my pups is not sitting well with you. Should I get you an antacid?" Karl laughed and smacked his back.

"Heisenberg! I thought you were dealing with Ethan Winters?" Lady Dimitrescu entered the room as Lucien was dropped to the floor like a sack of bricks.

"I have! Ground up and left out for dinner to the dogs. Are you jealous? Mother Miranda trusts me to get things done." Karl asked as he jumped back from Lucien finally throwing up the blood he had ingested. The black ichor squirming on the ground under them. "Interesting."

"What happened to my husband? I have barely had any time to play with him and now he's useless." Lady Dimitrescu sighed and grabbed his hair and pulled him up to look at her.

"I told you already, … I'm not your husband." Lucien panted as she clenched his hair tight.

"Oh, my love. We've been fighting about this for years. When will you accept that? Or… do we have to put you in the wall again." Lady Dimitrescu asked as she trailed one of her razored nails up his chin. Lucien went stiff as he swallowed nervously and stared at Heisenberg.

"We've tried your way, and he's still an empathic little boy. Trust me, he will see it our way. I know what it will take." Heisenberg dragged the metal of Lucien's chains to him as the man was dragged across the floor so he was on his knees in front of the mutant scientist. Ethan has found the path forward and was nervously holding back wondering if he should assist the vampire who helped him earlier. He was diseased like these other freaks, yet the way he submitted to their torment seemed odd.

"Why would they not just kill you?" Ethan whispered to himself as he watched Lady Dimitrescu scowl in disdain.

"Fine! He's mine! Remember that!" She said and combed her hair back over her ear with her claw.

"Of course my Lady." Heisenberg did a ridiculous bow to her but pumped his fist crudely as he stood back up and she stormed away. Turning back to Lucien who was glaring at him once she was gone.

Lucien glowered at the madman as he sauntered back to his side and stepped on the chains to make Lucien brace his hands on the ground. Lady Dimitrescu turned at the door to watch Lucien kneel, a jealous glare in her eyes turned malicious Heisenberg stared back with glee while tonguing the end of his cigar. Lady Dimitrescu scoffed in distaste.

"You best not put a finger on him." She added and left slamming the door. Lucien ripped the chain out from under his foot, which Karl lifted quickly and stumbled back.

"Hey calm down! I had to put on a show, besides that bitch is all antsy to ride a ghost." Heisenberg laughed as Lucien hushed him.

"Shut up or she will hear you, now unchain me," Lucien whispered as he held his hands up to him.

"Oh… well, I'm not ready for that yet. I like seeing you on your knees like this, my lord." Heisenberg said as he brushed a strand of Lucien's raven hair over his ear standing uncomfortably close.

"I think you have mistaken me for someone who enjoys your company. Karl." Lucien said as Heisenberg clutched his heart.

"You are a slave to Mother Miranda like the rest of us. Yet you're so much more different from them. You get me." Heisenberg said and leaned down to his eye level.

"You can still make the right choice, it's never too late," Lucien said calmly as Hesinbeg leaned close to smell his hair. The stench of blood and hay was masked by mint and rosemary. Karl took a deep breath as Lucien tried to try to lean away. However, Karl's fingers wrapped around his neck delicately tracing the bite scars on his neck.

Ethan strafed around the broken mechanisms and tried to find a clear line of sight to them both, but paused as he watched their conversation turn. They were hiding something from the rest of the freaks in the castle, and Ethan was starting to see a sliver of the bigger picture.

"Mother Miranda.." He whispered. Heisenberg looked over his shoulder hearing something, yet Lucien elbowed him to back off.

"I can't help it that I enjoy the selfish side benefits of being a Lord around here. Infinite test subjects, so much to experiment with. Imagine being the leader." Heisenberg said as he brushed a raven curl over his ear. Heisenberg jerked the cuffs to pull Lucien forward. Ethan gasped as the two men kissed.

"Back off!" Ethan shouted as he fired a shot missing Heisenberg as the bullet ricocheted off the wall. He fired again, this time aiming for Lucien's chains to release him. The bullet sparked on the cuff's and Lucien was freed from Heienbergs controls, but still cuffed.

"Ethan! No! Go now! Save your daughter before she can start the ritual!" Lucien shouted as the chain went slack and he stood up away from Heisenberg.

"You made a friend! Oh, I never thought you had it in you." Heisenberg smiled and quickly went on the defensive. "Did you tell him how useless a vampire is that hasn't fed on human blood?" Heisenberg asked and summoned his hammer to his hand.

Ethan watched as the metal in the room began to shift, forming into some sort of metal arm as the claw-like appendages formed to attach to Heisenberg's. Ethan fired at it, and the bullet ricocheted rendering the pistol useless in the fight.

"He's weak just like you mortal." Heisenberg grinned wide before Lucien wrapped his arms around him and choked the mutant with the chains of the cuff.

"If you want me to feed so badly, fine!" Lucien shouted and leaned back to expose his fangs, which he proceeded to sink into Heisenberg's neck as he let down his guard.

"Ah!~ Oh fuck! Get off!" Heisenberg shouted as the vampire greedily drank a large portion of his life force. The taint in his blood made Lucien's eyes glow red in the dark as Ethan made eye contact with him. Karl's metal arm flailed out, nearly knocking Ethan in the head as he ducked out of the room through the hole in the wall. The metal arm knocked the brick and shattered the pillar holding the structure of the door, causing Ethan to sprint to escape the tumbling rocks as it blocked the way back.
