Chapter 4: Teddy Bears and Best Friends
Lila began to dream again.
She was in the same dark hallway and began to shuddered before finding the flashlight. She then heard giggling before shining her light to reveal...Sally!
"Sally? What are you doing here?" Lila asked.
"Don't ask questions! Come on!" Sally smiled, taking Lila's hand and leading her down the hallway.
Lila tried to stay brave as Sally led her further down the hall finally reaching a door. "Please don't let it be monsters, please don't let it be monsters, please don't let it be monsters..."
Lila shuddered as Sally opened the door. Lila's fears went away as she saw it was a warm sunny day, then smiled at the bunnies hopping through the grass.
"Lila!" Heather called out. Lila then gasped and smiled at seeing Heather dance with Velvet and Carmel, both alive and big like Barney was, and even her doll Red was there. "Come on! It's fun!" Heather smiled. There were teddy bears everywhere, dancing. It was a teddy bear ball. Lila smiled as she ran to join it.
"Come on!" Sally cheered.
Lila and Sally then joined Fluffy and Red as they began to dance.
Sally:
Dream a little dream, happy little scene
Teddy bears waltz
Full of fluffy charm, dancing arm in arm
Pudgy and soft
Swirling as they gaze in each other's eyes
Softly padded paws gliding swiftly by

There at the Teddy Bear Ball
Cheery little cubs giggle then they blush
Each time they see
Mom and daddy bear dancing cheek to cheek

Papa in a tux, whirling mom around
Orchid on her wrist, flowing satin gown

They lift their tiny cups to a bowl of punch
And sweetly pour
Then they fill their plates with the honey cakes
Bears all adore
Merrily they chat, share each other's snacks
Give each other hugs, pat each other's backs

Bouncy little bears playing in the band
Smile with each song
While conductor bear waving his baton
Sings right along
One bear on the drums, two accordions
Three to toot the horns, four on violins

Full of fluffy charm, dancing arm in arm

Swirling as they gaze in each other's eyes

Lila smiled in her sleep as the night disappeared and morning began to come. Barney was the first to wake up. He then yawned before spotting the girls still asleep.
Barney:
Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping?
All day long, All day long
Morning bells are ringing. Morning bells are ringing.
Ding, dang, dong. Ding, dang, dong.
Both girls woke up and smiled. "Morning Heather, morning Lila." Barney smiled.
"Barney! I didn't have another nightmare!" Lila smiled. "I had the most amazing dream! Me, Heather, and Sally were all at a teddy bear ball!"
"Wait! I had the same dream too!" Heather smiled, to Lila's surprise.
"You did?" Lila asked.
"Yep!" Heather smiled. "And Velvet and Carmel were there!"
"That's pretty." Lila smiled.
"It sounds like you both had a happy dream!" Barney smiled.
"We did." Lila and Heather said in unison.
Snoopy yawned and stretched before seeing the sunrise and smiled before walking with Heather, Lila, and Barney to the window to watch it. "It's so pretty, this morning." Heather said.
"It sure is." Lila smiled.
Barney, Heather, and Lila:
Oh, Mister Sun, Sun, Mister Golden Sun,

Rising above the tree...
These little children are asking you
To please come out so we can play with you.

"Ah." Snoopy smiled happily.
"We had a fun sleepover!" Heather smiled. "Yeah. Thank you Barney for helping me with my bad dream." Lila smiled.
"You're welcome. Friends are always there for you." Barney smiled.
Barney:

We're a happy family
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you

"Awwww." Lila and Heather smiled.
Barney, Heather and Lila:

"Come on, let's go eat breakfast." Lila smiled. "Bye Barney!" Both girls waved.
Snoopy waved back before cuddling with Barney. The two then winked at each other.
