"Ah~" Pickle sighed in relief as he and Crusher settled under a tree in the Great Forest. "Finally, some peace and quiet…"
"Yeah, AWAY from Speedrick," Crusher chuckled and snuggled with his lover.
"Yep!" Pickle giggled and cuddled up to the other. "Just you and me and this peaceful forest~"
"Let's take a rest," Crusher suggested with a sigh. "Speedrick kidnapping me tired me out badly,"
"Alright, sweetie," Pickle smiled and nuzzled under him. "We can take a rest,"
X
"So… we're going to some 'magical forest'?" Speedrick questioned uninterestingly.
"It's called the Great Forest," Blaze corrected. "And yes, we're heading there for you to meet our friend Roarian,"
"Eh, what makes this Roarian guy so special?" Speedrick asked.
"Well, for starters, he's a flying lion," AJ said.
"Eh," Speedrick shrugged. "So what if a lion flies? It's not like anything I've seen isn't magical or strange,"
"He's also got a magical sunstone on his chest—"
"Woah, woah, hold up," Speedrick's eyes lit up in interest. "A Sunstone? With magic and stuff?"
"Yeah, pretty much," Blaze nodded.
"Don't try stealing it, please," AJ sighed. "Crusher tried to in the past, but it's not.a good idea because without the Sunstone, our friend Roarian will turn to stone,"
'So what if he does?' Speedrick scoffed but nodded anyway. "Yeah, yeah, no stealing. Whatever,"
As they began to drive forward, however, he was already thinking of ways to swipe the gem and thinking of ways to use the stone's magic.
Maybe he could try taking it when Roarian's guard was down? Or maybe when he's asleep? Both ways seem like good ways to steal it.
And when he does get it? Not only will he have his small house removed to get a bigger one, but perhaps he could get everything he had ever wanted…
…including the lightning boy he wanted so badly.
The thought boosted up his lust and greed as he smirked and followed behind his friends. Yes, he could get a love spell to get lightning boy and make him his own.
Make the green truck suffer.
Make him cry and beg.
Just like he wanted him to.
"Speedrick, what are you thinking about this time?" Blaze questioned suspiciously, glancing back at his friend.
"Nothing, nothing…" Speedrick waved him off. "Now, how long until we get to your friend? I'm… intrigued to meet him,"
'And take that magical thing for myself!'
"Well, here we are!" AJ announced as they made it to the bottom of a cliff, where a bunch of animals were playing. "And look! There's our friends!"
"Hey there, animals!" Blaze greeted.
"Hiya, Blaze!" the little panda greeted, as did the rest of the animals. "Hi, AJ!"
"Hey, little animals!" AJ smiled. "Where's Roarian?"
"Here I am, friends!" the group looked up to see the flying lion fly down towards them.
"Roarian!"
"Woah…" Speedrick's eyebrows went up in shock as the flying lion landed with a bright smile. "That's one big lion. How in the world was lightning boy able to steal that giant stone from him?!"
"Crusher has his ways," Blaze shrugged.
"Damn, lightning boy just got hotter…"
"Speedrick, I swear to the God above us, if you don't shut up, Pickle isn't going to be the only one you're gonna fear." AJ grumbled.
"Be glad Pickle isn't here to hear you say that," Blaze joked. "You know how he gets when we use sentences like that,"
"Yeah, yeah…"
"Greetings, friends!" Roarian beamed down at them. "And who is this newcomer?"
"The name's Speedrick," Speedrick bragged, driving forward. "Nice Sunstone you got there, big guy,"
"Thank you, friend Speedrick," Roarian smiled. "This Sunstone is what keeps me alive and flying in the air, yet it can do so much more,"
"Really…?" Speedrick raised an eyebrow with a smirk. "Can it… oh, I don't know, cats other magical spells like… a love spell or a mind-control spell?"
"Speedrick…" Blaze gave his friend a warning glare.
"It can, but I would not suggest to do any of those," Roarian shook his head. "Those are cruel spells. Love spells will force love while mind-control spells will takeover one's mind. It is not a nice spell to do,"
'Eh, I was never nice anyway.' Speedrick smirked but reacted 'coolly'. "Oh, I see. Alright then,"
"How about you show us the other kind of magic your Sunstone can do, Roarian?" AJ suggested.
"Of course!" Roarian let his magic surround them all, and they all began to fly in purple magic. "Follow me, friends!"
Blaze and AJ cheered as they flew after their flying lion friend. Speedrick followed after them, but a scheme was plotting on his head as he flew.
The Sunstone. He WANTED that Sunstone. He NEEDED that Sunstone.
He NEEDED it to get what he wanted.
But how was he gonna get it while flying from way up here?
He was gonna need a plan—
"Help! Help!"
"Roarian, look!" Blaze pointed over to a little bunny hanging from a branch.
"I'm coming, my friend!" Roarian swooped down, with Blaze and AJ following after him to help.
Speedrick scoffed and went down to the ground before smirking, a plan forming in his mind. He then took out a tire lock from his back and waited for the flying lion to save the bunny and swoop down to get her to safety. Roarian soon went down with Blaze and AJ, the bunny hopping out of his tire and onto the ground.
"Thank you, Roarian!" she cried out.
"No problem, friend— YIKES!" Roarian yelped as a tire lock locked one of his tires onto the ground. "Oh dear! What is this?!"
"Tire locks!" Blaze gasped. "Speedrick, what are you—"
"YES!" Speedrick smirked as he swiped the Sunstone from the flying lion. "It's MINE! ALL MINE!"
"Speedrick, we just TOLD you what will happen when Roarian doesn't have the Sunstone!" AJ cried out with a growl.
"But he also said that this thing could do a mind-control spell, so I'm gonna test it out myself!" Speedrick snickered as he harnessed the Sunstone in his tires.
"That Sunstone is complicated to use and even more complicated when you try to cast a spell!" Roarian warned, hissing as he watched his tires slowly turn back into stone.
"Give it back!" the little bunny yelled, followed by the animals that came to defend their friend.
"Not until I get what I want," Speedrick snarked and allowed the magic of the Sunstone to turn maroon before unleashing it all over.
The magic reached all the way to the tree Crusher and Pickle were resting under. As soon as the magic hit him, Crusher's eyes flashed gold before he got up, waking the other.
"Mm… Crusher?" Pickle glanced up at his lover questioningly.
The dark blue truck didn't say a word as he turned and drove away. Pickle's eyes widened in horror before driving after him.
"Crusher, WAIT! Where are you going?!"
He soon followed his boyfriend to the field where the others were. The moment he saw Speedrick with the Sunstone, however, his blood boiled in rage.
Oh, that bitch wanted to REALLY test him, does he?
"Speedrick, what are you doing?!" Blaze growled as soon as they spotted Crusher coming out, spell-bounded. "Stop it!"
"NO!" Speedrick shook his head. "I told ya that I wanted lightning boy for myself, and I'm getting him!"
"But mind-control is harmful to the mind your victim!" Roarian warned. "It might damage him!"
"Eh," But Speedrick just shrugged it off. "As long as he's MINE, I don't give a fucking damn,"
"Is there a way to snap him out of the spell, Roarian?" AJ asked.
"If we try to… to snap him out of it, we might damage his mind," Roarian hissed, feeling most of his body already reverting into stone. "We must get that Sunstone if we want to reverse the spell,"
"But how will we be able to get the Sunstone?" Blaze wondered, glancing around to look for a solution.
"SPEEDRICK!"
The group froze at the rage-filled voice before turning to see Pickle coming out of the forest, eyes lacking sanity as he raised his wand, which was glistening in red, blue and green. Speedrick winced but smirked after remembering that he still had the Sunstone with him.
"So, you come to challenge me, you psychotic cucumber?" his eyes glowed red as well as the stone. "Well, I've got more magic than that puny little wand of yours, so show me what you've got—"
Before he could finish his sentence, however, a blast of red, green and blue magic fired at him. The magic was sipping through his skin, causing him to scream in pain as he was levitated into the air.
"WH-WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING DOING TO ME?!"
"A simple, painful spell to match your stupid and ridiculous personality, you son of a bitch." Pickle smirked, coming closer for them to see his eyes losing sanity completely. "I've warned you once before, and even repeated it twice, but if you won't listen, I'll just have to MAKE you listen…"
"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Speedrick roared out in pain. "LET ME GO!"
"LET CRUSHER GO FIRST!" Pickle snarled.
"Alright, ALRIGHT!" Speedrick dropped the Sunstone, which Blaze and AJ caught. "Just let me go!"
Pickle growled and threw the jerk over the trees, ignoring his screams and the crash that followed. He then turned to Crusher, whose eyes began to revert back to normal.
"Wh-What?" he groaned and shook his head, feeling dizzy. "What happened…?"
"Glad you're okay, Crusher," AJ sighed in relief as Blaze returned the Sunstone to Roarian.
"I THOUGHT you two were gonna keep an eye on him." Pickle crossed his tires while making his way to help his lover before he fainted.
"We were," Blaze admitted. "but he got out of control,"
"I apologize for any trouble that the Sunstone had caused," Roarian spoke, head bowing low.
"It's okay, Roarian," Pickle smiled, still as eerie as it had been before. "but I think Crush and I need to head home to rest,"
"I… I think that's a good idea…" Crusher shuddered and nodded. "I… I don't feel so good…"
"Rest well, Crusher," Blaze waved his rival and his friend goodbye as they left.
"Sorry for all the trouble Speedrick caused, Roarian," AJ apologized in behalf of their friend.
"It is alright, my friends," Roarian assured them. "but I recommend for you to NOT bring Speedrick back here,"
"I think we'll take your advice," Blaze gave a nod before turning as his best friend hopped back onto his driver's seat. "Come on, AJ. Let's go get Speedrick and give him a tour… somewhere else,"
