Meanwhile, Bruno was in the city and was growing bored. He had already caused a lot of chaos, and now he was trying to find something else to do to make the other trucks suffer.
"Hmm... what to do...?"
Just as he was about to turn a corner, he felt a glow, and he took out his crystal ball, which he managed to carry when he was detransformed from his genie form. He peered into it and growled at the sight of Genie as he led the group through the desert with Crusher out of the lamp.
"Hmm... looks like someone found him after all..." he tilted his head and hummed. "But I wonder where they may be going… There's no way for them to revert that fool back into a truck unless…" His blood ran cold. "Oh no. They're heading to the Wishing Well of Wonder! Oh no no no no…"
He drove over to an alley to hide out from any prying eyes. As soon as he knew that he was alone, he took out magical crystals and smirked.
"But, this ought to stop them..." He blowed the crystals into the crystal ball.
The crystals flew into the desert before morphing together into crystal crocodiles that chomped on sight. They all managed to form as the group approached them, causing them to skid to a stop.
"Whoa! Crocodiles!!" Pickle screamed.
"Gaskets!" Blaze hissed. "How are we going to get past this?"
"Wait, Pickle," AJ turned to the green truck. "did you find Crusher and rub the lamp?"
"Yeah...?"
"Then you've got three wishes that Crusher can cast," AJ told him.
"So you can use one of those three wishes to help us get past the crocodiles!" Blaze agreed.
"Ooh! You're right!" Pickle beamed. "Oh, but what should I wish for?!"
"Well, you can't just wish these crocodiles away," Genie observed. "Neither can I. These crocodiles are made of magic genie crystals!"
"You don't think Ali had something to do with this, do you?" AJ asked.
"Most likely, yes," Genie nodded. "so be careful what you wish for, Pickle,"
"Okay…" Pickle took a deep breath before nodding. "Crusher, I wish for… a sledgehammer!"
"A sledgehammer? What's that gonna be for?" Crusher questioned.
"Well, the crocodiles are made of crystals," Pickle explained. "so, even if we can't wish them away…"
"…we can smash them away!" Blaze finished, catching up to the green truck's plan. "Good idea, Pickle!"
"Okay... here goes nothing!"
Crusher took a deep breath and waved his tires around, blue magic appearing and hovering above them. His magic soon collided, and a sledgehammer appeared, landing on the sand with a thud.
"Wow... I did it!"
"Great job, Crusher!" Blaze grinned as Pickle took the sledgehammer into his tires.
"Time to destroy some crocs!" Pickle cried out before zooming towards the crocodiles and smashing them into bits.
"Yeah-heh!" AJ cheered. "We should help out, Blaze,"
"More sledgehammers, coming right up!" Genie waved his tires, and more sledgehammers appeared for them to pick up.
"Let's do this!"
They all went off and destroyed every crystal crocodile in their way. Soon, all the crystal crocodiles were shattered.
"We did it!" Pickle cheered, keeping the sledgehammer.
"Thank goodness," Crusher sighed in relief.
"Now come on!" Blaze urged them. "Let's get going to the Wishing Well of Wonder!"
"Yeah!" Genie agreed. "Before Ali tries to stop us again!"
They all nodded and sped off to through the desert.
Meanwhile, back in the city, Ali snarled as he watched his crystal crocodiles get shattered into bits.
"DRAT!!" he spat out. "How DARE they destroy my precious crocodiles?!" He took out another bunch of crystals, but this time, they were white and glistening brightly under the sun. "Well, let's see if they can handle a COLD shoulder!"
He sprinkled the crystals over the crystal ball, prompting them to hover above the desert sky and swirl around in white snow, conjuring a big, raging snowstorm, which the group found themselves caught in.
"Snow in the desert?" AJ asked. "Ali must be really stepping up his a game!"
"Woah! Woah!" Crusher and Genie had difficulty staying afloat and lowered themselves down by their friends.
"Lug-nuts!" Blaze hissed. "We need to get past the snow!"
"Ooh! Ooh! Maybe I can wish for something to help us!" Pickle suggested.
"Go for it, Pickle!" Blaze encouraged.
"Okay!" Pickle glanced around. "I wish for… a sleigh!"
"A sleigh?" Crusher questioned.
"Yeah, a sleigh!" Pickle nodded. "We can use the sleigh to move through the snow no problem!"
"But with what, exactly? We don't exactly have any reindeers or anything like that,"
"We can use my Blazing Speed to get through the snow quickly!" Blaze offered.
"Yeah!" Pickle agreed.
"That could work!" AJ added.
"Okay... here goes nothing!"
Crusher waved his tires around over and over, his blue magic appearing and hovering despite the strength of the chilly wind. His efforts soon paid off, and a huge green, blue and silver sleigh appeared in front of them.
"Ooh, colorful!"
"Everyone, get on!" Blaze told them as he hooked himself onto the sleigh, his boosters opening up. "Time for some Blazing Speed!"
"LEEEEET'S BLAZE!"
With that, his boosters gave a red glow, and as soon as everyone was on board, they all zoomed off through the snowstorm. The storm grew in intensity, but they managed to navigate around it. Finally, they made it past the snowstorm.
"Finally, we're out..." Crusher shivered.
"Is everyone alright?" Blaze asked as they all hopped out of the sleigh.
"I think so," Pickle replied. "But the bad thing is I only have one wish left! That means once it's granted..."
"…I'll be forced back in the lamp," Crusher grimaced. "And as much as the space in there is nice, I DO NOT want to be trapped back inside,"
"Don't worry," Blaze assured gently. "We'll get to that well and set things right."
"Come on, friends! This way!" Genie hovered back up and led them off once more.
Back at the city, Ali watched the group drive off with anger.
"D'ohhhh, drat it all!" he snarled. "Well, good thing I still have one truck off my tire!"
He took out crystals of lightning blue and threw it into the crystal ball. Instantly, the crystals turned into actual lightning before hitting the sand, causing a gigantic leopard sparking up with lightning to appear.
"Wha... WHAT IS THAT?!" Crusher screeched.
"LIGHTNING LEOPARD!" Genie skidded to a stop mid-air. "RUN!"
They screamed as they ran drove off. The lightning leopard roared and stomped it's paw on the ground, causing a circle of lightning to surround them and block path, so they couldn't escape.
"That lightning leopard is seriously dangerous!" AJ exclaimed. "What can we do?!"
"I… I think we should use a wish," Pickle sighed. "But I also don't want to…"
"We don't have a choice," Crusher said with a sigh.
Pickle whimpered but nodded anyway. He glanced around and took a deep breath before making his last wish.
"I wish… to shrink the lightning leopard to a miniature size!"
Crusher waved his tires around, and the magic surrounded the lightning leopard. It gave a wail and a roar of pain before shrinking down to a size of a small cub.
"Aww, now it's the cute and cuddly size!" Genie giggled.
The lightning leopard tried to attack but only succeeded with a tiny roar. The others laughed at how adorable the mini leopard was despite the lightning coming out of it. Crusher's laughter was bittersweet as he felt the lamp and his magic tug on him.
"Uh oh..."
Hmm?" Pickle heard his murmur and gasped when he found the lamp tugging on his best friend. "Oh no! What's happening?!"
"Crusher's getting pulled back in!" Blaze gasped.
"Guys… HELP!" Crusher begged as he tried to hang onto the sand below him. "I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK!"
"Hang on, big guy!" Pickle cried. "I'm coming!"
He tried to grab onto his best friend's tire, but the magic was too strong, and his grip slipped. Crusher screamed as he was forced into the lamp once more.
"Oh no..." Pickle whimpered. "I shouldn't have used my last wish!"
"It's okay, Pickle," Blaze comforted the the green truck. "We're almost to the well. We'll be able to wish him out soon,"
"Thanks..." Pickle offered him a smile.
"Come on!" Genie urged. "It's just over here!"
They followed the genie truck forward, and after a while, they found themselves standing in front of marvelous sight.
