"Blaze, Crusher," Roarian smiled as he watched the brothers enter the Great Forest with Darington and Pickle chattering behind them. "I'm glad you two came,"

"Of course, Roarian!" Blaze grinned. "If we're going to be the wielders of the Sunstone and the Moonstone, we're going to need A LOT of training,"

"Indeed," Roarian gave a nod. "Especially if you're going to have to learn to use your magic without your emotions getting the best of you both,"

"Wait, What?" Crusher was confused as Pickle and Darington settled under a tree with the other animals. "I thought the stones responded to emotion,"

"They… do, but when you lose control of your emotion, you may lose control of your powers," Roarian told them. "That is why it is a necessity that you both learn how to use it properly,"

"Alright, Roarian, show us what we need to do," Blaze said.

"Let us a start with a test of patience," Roarian spoke as he held out a tray of cake.

"Ooh! Cake!" Crusher grinned and reached out eagerly.

"Not so fast, Crusher," Roarian moved the tray away. "You will have to wait in able to get the cake," He set the tray down in front of them. "Ten minutes. Starting… now,"

Darington started the timer, and they both watched as Crusher and Blaze glanced down at the cake. The red truck didn't seem to have trouble with being patient as he waited. The dark blue truck, however, was having a big difficultly as he felt himself gulp.

Patience was never his strongest suit.

He began to tremble as he felt the black rocks by his tires begin to peek out from the ground. He took a deep breath and tried to focus himself on something or someone else. He turned to Pickle, who smiled over at him encouragingly. It made him feel calmer as he took another deep breath and closed his eyes, waiting for the timer.

"5 minutes down," Darington said, glancing at the timer.

"5 more to go," Roarian gave a nod.

Crusher hissed but kept himself firm and steady as he waited for the minutes to pass. He smelt the scent of the cake and licked his lips.

Just 5 more minutes… just 5 more minutes… why is 5 minutes taking so long???

"Phew... are you sure it's only 5 minutes left?"

"4 minutes and 30 seconds…" Darington replied, looking at the timer.

"Just a little more, don't worry," Blaze assured his brother.

"Easy for you to say," Crusher huffed. "Patience is never my strongest asset."

"But it is the asset needed to assure you don't lose control of the Moonstone once more," Roarian told him.

"Oh... yeah..."

"Keeping an eye on Pickle helped to focus you," Blaze noticed. "Why not focus on him and talk to him?"

"Okay, okay…" Crusher turned to Pickle.

As soon as he indulged into a conversation with the green truck, he felt himself suddenly at ease. The rocks beside him had stopped twitching to grow, and he didn't feel time pass until the timer rang out.

"Time's up!" Darington beamed. "You did it!"

"Hey, I did!" Crusher gasped, surprised at himself. "Now cake time!"

"Oh, Crusher!" Pickle laughed as the dark blue truck took out a knife to slice the cake. "It's so early for cake!"

"Well, not that surprised," Blaze sighed. "He didn't really it much this morning,"

"You two deserve it," Roarian chuckled.

"But why didn't Crusher much this morning?" Pickle questioned. "He always eats plenty of breakfast,"

"I… honestly don't know," Blaze shrugged, glancing at his brother, who was taking out plates to place the cake slices in. "But… let's not worry about that now,"

"Yeah! Let's have some cake before Crusher finishes it," Darington joked as they all gathered around the cake.
