"Woah..." Crusher gasped as a secret door opened up from the floor.
He had been sweeping the floor when he noticed the wooden floor looking awfully different. He had hit it with the broom when he discovered the secret door.
"Well... I guess I could take a peek..."
He set the broom down and drove into the secret room. He oohed at the unfinished inventions down at the room as he looked around.
"Wow... who knew all this was down here?" he murmured.
Something glowing soon caught his attention, and he turned to it with interest before approaching it to see a shiny, unfinished machine at the corner of the room. He was about to touch it when a voice shrilled from behind him.
"DON'T TOUCH THAT!"
Crusher yelped and jumped to see Flame drive over to him and the machine.
"Oh..." he cleared his throat and looked down in shame. "Sorry, Flame. I didn't realize."
"It's... alright," Flame sighed. "It was something I never could finish anyway. Too dangerous,"
"What is it?" the dark blue truck asked.
"A... booster creator," Flame cleared his throat. "Though it would be great if I was able to finish it since it's very important, but I can't find the right parts to finish it. Plus, it's leaking oil, which is another problem that I need to fix,"
"Oh... I see," Crusher nodded slowly. "Maybe... I can help with it?"
"Hmm..." Crusher glanced over at the machine. "Well, I've got some scraps to fix the leak problem, and I know where to find the right parts to fix the rest of it,"
"Really?" Flame's eyes lit up. "Well, let's get to it!"
Crusher beamed, his inventing pouch and the lightning pattern on his sides glowing to release the scraps they needed.
"Woah, that's amazing!" Flame complimented as he took one of the scraps to set it on the leaking spots. "And it's the perfect size!" He grinned. "Come on! Let's get to work!"

"Blaze, have you seen Crusher and Flame?" Phoenix questioned as Blaze and AJ entered the house after their duty at the fire station.
"No, not since earlier." Blaze shook his head as AJ dismounted.
"Huh, I wonder where those two wondered off to," Phoenix shook her head.
"Mom! Blaze! AJ!" Sparkle drove to them. "I found something amazing!"
"What is it, Sparkle?" AJ asked.
"A secret room down the floor!" Sparkle said. "And someone's inside!"
"Could be Dad and Crusher," AJ shrugged.
"I'll go and check it out!" Blaze offered before zooming off.
He soon found the secret room and drove inside to hear a lot of laughing and sounds of tools being used. He finally went into the room and gasped to see the inventions inside.
CLANG!
"Oops!"
"Woah, watch it there, Crusher!"
Blaze jumped and drove over at the corner to see Crusher and Flame picking up a huge part of the invention, which the dark blue truck had just dropped.
"Dad? Crusher?" Blaze tilted his head as he drove over to help. "What's going on? What are you two doing down here?"
"Inventing," Flame grinned as they managed to set the part back in it's place. "Aha! Perfect!"
"What is that?" Blaze asked.
"A boost creator, from what Dad said," Crusher replied before he stiffened at the honorific he said. "Uh... Oh... sorry..."
"HA! HE CALLED ME DAD!" Flame celebrated as he carried the dark blue truck into his tires. "YES! I HAVE TWO SONS NOW!"
"You're... not mad?" Crusher glanced up in confusion.
"Mad? I'm thrilled!" Flame laughed and set the other down. "And it's the perfect time to test out the booster creator!"
"Yeah!" Crusher beamed. "Blaze, you wanna watch?"
"Totally!" Blaze nodded. "But what's the booster creator for, Dad? I thought our Blazing Speed was fast enough,"
"Yes, but it's not for us," Flame replied, activating the machine.
"It's not?" Blaze tilted his head. "Then who is it for?"
"For Crusher, of course!"
"Me...?" Crusher's eyes widened.
"Yes!" Flame nodded as the machine created a pair of boosters. "I know that you've always wanted to go as fast as us, so I thought, 'Why not give you your own set of boosters?' so I tried to make a creator! But, yeah, it failed, and I almost gave up because I thought that I'd never be able to create it, but now I did," He then turned to Crusher and smiled. "And the best part is that I got to do it with you,"
"Wow..." Crusher gasped as the boosters was handed over to him. "My very own boosters!" He looked up at the other and smiled tearfully. "Thank you, Dad,"
"Anytime, buddy." Flame grinned and patted his head.
"Go on, Crusher!" Blaze urged. "Try them on!"
"Okay..."
Flame helped him set it in, and Crusher gasped as it lit up in blue. Suddenly, his whole body glowed the same color as his boosters before they activated, causing to zoom out of the room, completely out of control. He screamed as he dashed out.
"Well... I think he'll need some practice..." Flame chuckled.
"Yep!" Blaze hissed. "But let's get him before he crashes--"
CRASH! BOOM!
"Or..." Blaze sighed. "we're too late..."
"FLAME!"
"Aaand Phoenix found out about the boosters," Flame grimaced. "That shouldn't be good,"
"You didn't tell Mom?" Blaze raised an eyebrow.
"It was supposed to be a surprise..."
"FLAME, GET IN HERE NOW!"
"Well, she sure is surprised..." Blaze dryly laughed before they dashed out to help Crusher with the boosters.
