Blaze woke up to a strange essence in the air.

At first, he didn't heed it any attention. It didn't really FEEL urgent, so he had shrugged it off.

But when he left the house with AJ, he soon realized how dead serious it was.

"Woah, what happened here?" AJ dismounted from the driver seat and walked over to the statue of a truck. "This doesn't look like a normal statue,"

"It's because… it isn't a statue," Blaze stiffened as he neared the stone. "It… It's an actual truck,"

"What?" AJ turned to him in disbelief. "But… that's not possible! How… How could this have happened then?!"

"I… I don't know," Blaze looked up and gasped. "But I don't think he's the only one. Look!"

AJ turned and gasped at what he saw.

There were groups of trucks at the park, paralyzed in stone. There was even a child, one of the children they've helped before, petrified and looking awfully afraid.

"How…?! What?!" AJ glanced all around, backing up towards his best friend. "Blaze, we need to tell the others!"

"Right," Blaze nodded and waited until the other was on the driver's seat before zooming towards the Monster Dome.

X

"Stone?!" Darington's jaw dropped in horror. "Some of the truck's were turned into stone?!"

"Even little child?!" Zeg gasped. "Who do such thing?!"

"We don't know," AJ sighed.

"Hmm…" Stripes took out his Magic Encyclopedia. "According to this, there could be lots of trinkets and creatures that could turn trucks into stone…"

"It was a snake monster!" one truck cried out, driving to the group frighteningly. "I… I was with my friends last night when the snake monster came to us and demanded treasure!"

"Treasure?" Watts repeated.

"What kind of treasure did that snake monster want?" Starla questioned.

"I… I don't know," the truck shook his head. "We… We were so scared that we drove off, so the snake came after us and started turning us to stone!"

"A snake monster?" Stripes flipped through the pages of his book before gasping. "Oh no!"

"Stripes, what's wrong?" Gabby asked.

"It's a Medusa!"

"A Medusa?!" the group all gasped.

"W-What's a Medusa?" the truck stammered.

"A Medusa is a monster with snakes for hair and powerful eyes that could turn anyone into stone," Stripes explained. "Those monsters are pretty hostile, and if one's searching for their 'treasure' then they're REALLY going to be hostile,"

"Don't worry, we'll find a way to change your friends back," Blaze assured the truck. "Promise,"

"Th-Thank you! Thank you so much!" The truck nodded and drove away in a rush.

"So… how do we catch this serpent monster?" Darington asked.

"We make a plan," Blaze declared. "Stripes, let's head over to you treehouse, so we can—"

"AAAAAAAH!"

"Hey! It's that truck!" Watts gasped.

"And it sound like he in trouble!" Zeg cried.

"Come on! Let's go!" Blaze zoomed to the entrance of the Monster Dome.

They all skidded to a stop and gasped to see the truck they met suddenly turn into stone right in front of them. Suddenly, wicked laughter filled the air, and group turned to see someone familiar standing beside the truck…

"Speedrick??" Blaze's jaw dropped. "What are you doing?!"

"Oh, hiya, Blaze," Speedrick smirked as he turned to the group with a pair of sunglasses on his face in his large white truck form while his hair slithered out from above as snakes.

"YOU are the Medusa?!" AJ cried out.

"Maybe, maybe not," Speedrick lowered his glasses, his eyes flashing red. "I'm not going to admit anything,"

"Guys, don't look!" Stripes called out as they all shielded their eyes. "He'll turn you to stone!"

Speedrick growled and placed his shades back on. "Dammit, why can't you all just be like these other dumb trucks?!"

"Speedrick, why are you doing this?!" Blaze demanded, lowering his tire to glare at his 'friend'.

"To look for my treasure, of course," Speedrick smirked.

"What treasure could YOU gain from all this?!" Starla scowled.

"The treasure that ALL monsters would be searching for," Speedrick snickered. "The Treasure of Destruction!"

Blaze's eyes widened as a silent gasp escaped his mouth. AJ also gasped but managed to keep himself partly silent as the others looked confused.

"The Treasure of Destruction?" Darington quirked an eyebrow. "What's that?"

"Huh, nothing in my book said anything about the Treasure of Destruction," Stripes hummed as he flipped through his book.

"It's because only the Guardian Dragons and desperate monsters like yours truly have information about the Treasure of Destruction," Speedrick scoffed.

"Desperate monsters, indeed," Watts rolled her eyes.

"What are you even planning to do with the Treasure of Destruction?!" Gabby yelled.

"Whatever I want!" Speedrick hissed, like he literally hissed, his red tongue slithering out as his snake-hair hissed along with him.

"We won't let you get your tires on that treasure!" Blaze cried out.

"Oh, but can you try to keep it from my HANDS then?" Speedrick taunted as his truck form slowly melted into a part-human form with pale maroon skin. "You can try, Blaze, but you'll NEVER stop me! MWUHAHAHAHAHA!"

With that, his legs swirled into those of a Naga before he slithered off and away from the group. Blaze watched him leave before sighing and shaking his head.

"I can't believe Speedrick would do this…"

"I did," Darington shrugged. "No offense, B,"

"Yeah, it was predictable," Starla agreed.

"Sorry, Blaze, but I'm with them on this," AJ nodded, as did the others.

"Okay… maybe it was predictable, but still," Blaze shook his head. "We CAN'T let him get the Treasure of Destruction,"

"What IS Treasure of Destruction?" Zeg questioned.

"And how do ya fellas know somethin' about it?" Starla raised an eyebrow.

"We don't know much about it," AJ admitted.

"But I know who does," Blaze smiled. "Come on, gang! Let's go!"
