Crusher sighed as he watched their enemy turn into dust while he was lowered back down onto the ground. He glanced around him and grimaced as he saw all of his friends still in stone.

"I guess... my power isn't enough to save them... why was I cursed...?"

He walked around the empty room and felt himself sit down right where the box used to be as he began to cry.

Speedrick was gone… but so was everyone else.

He was alone.

"Crushy!" A voice from outside spoke, and Crusher glanced up to see a fog of magic appear from out of nowhere and settle down in front of him, revealing his grandmother in his human-siren form.

"Grammy...?" he choked. "What're you doing here...?"

"I was coming to visit you, Crushy," Grammy spoke as she took him in her arms. "but then I saw the statues, and Millie told me all that happened at the park and… I wanted to see if you were alright,"

"No, Grammy, I'm not..." Crusher sniffled. "My friends are stone, all because I'm the Treasure of Destruction. Maybe... I needed to be put in that vault forever instead of Pickle freeing me... cause I'm... I'm... CURSED!!!"

"Oh, Crushy…" Grammy patted him gently and kissed his forehead to comfort him. "It's alright. First of all, you are not cursed. You are gifted, Crushy. The power of destruction is a gift,"

"How?! I got my friends KILLED!!"

"Crushy, dear…" Grammy gave him a sad smile. "I know that from your point of view, it may seem like a curse, but it is not. Your friends are fine. Petrified, true, but we can reverse this. Just listen to me, alright?"

"Ok..." Crusher nodded.

"Good," Grammy held his hands onto her own. "I know that you can't sing very well, but your power of destruction might just work for this spell,"

"How?"

"Focus your power," Grammy instructed. "Focus your destruction to destroy the stones while harnessing it to save your friends,"

"Okay…"

Crusher gulped and closed his eyes, his necklace glowing icy blue once more. His horrible singing by then was lowered into a lowly hum as he felt his magic blast out towards the group slowly.

Little by little, the stones began to diminish into flesh once more. The group let out gasps of air as the stone finally faded.

"Woah!" Blaze stared down at himself then around. "We… We're back!"

"It worked, Grammy!" Crusher cheered. "We did it!"

"You did it, my sweet Crushy," Grammy smiled and embraced her grandson.

"CRUSHER!" Pickle flew over to hug him. "YOU'RE OKAY!"

"Pickle!! Guys!" Crusher hugged him back with a tearful smile. "Thank goodness you're okay!"

"Did you really save us?" Stripes asked.

"He sure did," Grammy gave a smile, patting her grandson on the back proudly.

"But... I don't understand how..." Crusher murmured. "It's a curse... isn't it?"

"Whether it is a gift or a curse is entirely how you see it or how you use it," Grammy spoke. "You used it to save your friends, did you not?"

"Well... yeah," Crusher grimaced. "But... is it because... Mom and Dad didn't love me anymore...?"

"Of course not, Crushy!" Grammy shook her head. "They loved you all too much. That's why the other sirens killed them; to make sure they couldn't hide you away,"

"I just... wish... I could have met them..." Crusher sighed.

"I wish that too…" Grammy sighed and held him in her arms. "but I'm sure they would've been proud of you… as I am,"

Crusher smiled and returned the hug. "Thanks, Grammy,"

"Well... Crusher... I think there is a way to grant your wish," Pickle said after a minute. "I just have to ask my grandpa, cousins and sisters about it."

"Really?" Crusher's eyes lit up as he turned to the other. "Thanks, Pickle. I'd like that,"

"We better head back to the city," Darington suggested. "There's still lots of trucks that were turned to stone,"

"Good idea, let's go!" Sparkle said.

Grammy raised her hands as she rang out a spell. Magic swirled around them, and before they knew it, they appeared in the middle of Axle City, which was partly destroyed with trucks of stone on the streets and crumbling buildings.

"Yeesh... things really hit the town hard," AJ grimaced.

Crusher took a deep breath and stepped forward. He closed his eyes and proceeded to cast the reversal spell. As he repeated it, he started to levitating into the air, his eyes turning full gold as his shell necklace glowed brightly before releasing a burst of magic all over the city. The buildings were being fixed, and the trucks were slowly returning back from their stone form… including Blaze and Sparkle's parents, who were in their human-dragon forms.

"Phoenix...?" Flame groaned.

"Flame...?" Phoenix hissed and rubbed her heads "Where are the kids?"

"MOM! DAD!"

The duo turned to see Blaze and Sparkle run towards them.

"Oh... my babies!" Phoenix gasped, hugging them.

"Your mother and I were so worried!" Flame sighed in relief. "Are you okay?"

"We're fine, Dad," Blaze smiled. "Don't worry,"

"Crusher saved us!" Sparkle exclaimed.

"He did?" Phoenix was taken back by the claim before she looked up and gasped. "Oh my, he… he's a… siren…?"

"He is," Blaze said, "and the Treasure of Destruction."

"But don't worry-- he stopped Speedrick when he turned the rest of us to stone, AND brought us back!" Sparkle added.

"Well, that's certainly a relief," Flame let out a relieved breath. "But what of Speedrick? What happened to him?"

"Turned into dust," Stripes answered.

"Good," Phoenix smiled. "At least he can't hurt anyone anymore,"

"Now, Pickle has something he'd like to ask his family, so we should get to their cottage," Blaze told them.

"And believe it or not, they're fairies!" AJ exclaimed.

"Fairies?!" Flame and Phoenix's jaws dropped as Pickle fluttered over to them with a giggle.

"It's true," he confirmed. "We live in the Enchanted Forest. Come on. We'll save Grandpa when we get there!"

He opened up a portal with his wand, and they all went through to the destroyed forest.

"Okay, guys... my turn!"

Crusher casted his spell once more, and his magic zoomed through the place. The flowers, birds, unicorns, and butterflies were all brought back to life, and the cottage had been repaired.

"Grandpa, here I come!" Pickle squealed.

They all dashed to the cottage door and opened it to see Grandpa Pickle slowly reforming from stone. As soon as he was free, he wiped the sweat from his brow before turning to them.

"Pickle!"

"GRANDPA!!"

Pickle flew into his grandfather's arms tearfully. Colorful bright magic swirled around them, and out appeared Pickle's sisters and cousins, all embracing their grandfather.

"Sisters! Cousins! You're all safe!"

"We're glad you're safe too, Pickle," Tillie smiled.

"Uh... Grandpa?" Pickle turned to his grandfather. "Is there any sort of magic spell to bring someone back from the dead? I wanna help Crusher by bringing his parents back."

"Hmm… I think I know the kind of spell for that," Grandpa nodded. "but it needs time and privacy. Why don't you take the others home, and I'll go find the spell book?"

"Sure, Grandpa," Pickle nodded. "Hey, guys, why don't we all fly home? I can come back later to check on things."

They all agreed and turned to leave. Grandpa watched them leave before he flew over to his shelf and picked up the spell book he needed.

It had been a few days since the monster incident. Things in Axle City were returning to normal. There was a few things in Axle City that hadn't been cleaned up by the spell, so the trucks had teamed up to clean up the rest of the debris.

"So, any word on how the spell is going. Pickle?" AJ asked.

"Grandpa said that he's almost done with it," Pickle replied. "Something with a final chant—"

"Pickle!"

"Grandpa!" Pickle turned with a gasp as he appeared from a portal.

"It's done!" Grandpa told him. "Crusher's parents are waiting at the cottage!"

"He's gonna be so excited!" Blaze giggled. "Me and AJ will find him and get him to the forest. We'll meet Pickle at the gate!"

He and AJ then ran off to find the siren. They found him at the fountain in the park, playing with the frogs and fishes.

"There you are, Crusher!" Blaze exclaimed happily. "We have amazing news! The spell is finished, and your parents are waiting!"

"Really?" Crusher's eyes lit up. "Let's go then!" He then held his necklace. "Shell in hand, from water to land!"

He jumped out of the fountain, and he landed on his feet. He then went with the duo to the Enchanted Forest.

When they made it to the gate, however, Crusher suddenly felt anxious as he came to a stop. Blaze noticed this and turned to him in concern.

"Are you okay?" he asked. "You look pretty anxious."

"I… It's pretty stupid, but…" Crusher let out a hiss. "What if… they don't want me?"

"Crusher, why would say that?" Blaze frowned.

"Well, for one thing, they don't know me, and I don't know them," Crusher sighed. "We're practically strangers. And for another… I'm a cursed siren with a voice of a frog,"

AJ put a gentle hand on his shoulder. He knew the feeling when he was practically adopted by Blaze's parents.

Time to give someone else the advice Blaze told him.

"They'll want you for just being you. Besides, if they'd love you, with or without a beautiful voice, why would they give their lives up for you?"

"I… I guess… you're right," Crusher gave a smile. "but you guys think they'll recognize me…?"

"Of course they will," Blaze assured him. "Come on, we'll be there with you, don't worry,"

"Okay..." Crusher took a deep breath and nodded. "here goes..."

They all went through the gate, and Crusher almost froze in his place as his eyes met a two similar pairs.

"Mom…? Dad…?"

"Oh sweet seashells…" the woman with icy blue hair, light purple skin and tearful eyes of black and gold gasped as she stared down at him. "Crusher…? Is… Is that you…?"

"You recognize me...?" Crusher's eyes widened.

"Oh, precious child…" the man with dark green hair, sky blue skin and tearful eyes of black and blue fell on his knees. "You've grown up so beautifully…"

"And of course we recognize you," the woman added. "There hasn't been a moment's time that we haven't watched you and thought about you."

"Mom...! Dad...!"

Crusher himself was crying as he ran towards them. Blaze, AJ, Pickle and Grandpa watched the reunion silently and happily as the couple met him in their arms as they embraced him as much as they could.
