It had been a few weeks since the argument and the incident. Blaze and Crusher had begun to ignore the news and proceeded to get closer.
Their friends visited occasionally, always calling before coming to visit and making sure no one follows them. Apparently there had been some good news, bad news thing back in Axle City.
Blaze's cousin Cryo had come to take place as the fastest racer. Everyone was gushing over him, saying that he might be even better than Blaze, who was shocked at the news at first but ignored it and stated that he'd rather focus on his and Crusher's life away from all the toxics.
And that's what he did... A little too well...

Blaze yawned as he woke up that morning. He turned to greet Crusher, but found the space beside him on the bed empty.
"Crusher...?"
He got up and looked around. He left his room to hear vomiting from the bathroom. He headed there to find Crusher throwing up at the toilet.
"Crusher!" he zoomed to his lover's side. "W-What's wrong?! Do I need to call an ambulance?!"
"Blaze... I'm fine..." Crusher groaned as he washed his mouth and turned to him. "I'm fine, really..."
"You don't look fine..." Blaze hissed.
"Blaze..." Crusher sighed and turned to him. "How about we go to Grammy's first before we call an ambulance? I... I think I know what's going on, but... but only Grammy can approve it,"
"Ok..." Blaze nodded as he watched the other leave to head to Grammy's.

It's been a few hours since Crusher left. Blaze was growing worried as he watched over Crusher's now-cold breakfast.
"Wonder what's taking him so long..." he murmured, checking his phone for any texts.
After a while, he started to grow impatient. Just as he got up to head out the door, the door flung open with an excited Grammy bouncing inside.
"Blaze! Blaze! Great news!"
"W-What?" Blaze looked confused.
"Blaze..." Crusher stepped forward. "Remember when I told you that I was trans a week ago...?"
"Yeah?"
"Well..." Crusher's cheeks flushed. "I... might have forgotten the contraceptives a few days ago..."
"You... oh," Blaze's eyes widened in realization. "Does that mean...?"
Crusher nodded and sheepishly handed the test with two red lines on it.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!" Blaze gasped in amazement.
"Y-Yeah..." Crusher nodded.
"Crusher, this is great!" Blaze beamed and hugged his lover. "I'm so happy for us!"
"Me too..." Crusher smiled and returned the hug.

It had been a few months since Crusher was pregnant. The duo called on their friends to tell them the news.
At the moment, Pickle, Darington, Zeg, Speedrick, and Gasquatch were in Swoops as they flew to the farmhouses. They were all excited to hear the mysterious news.
"So... what do you think is going on?" Speedrick questioned.
"I don't know, but I can't wait to know!" Darington squealed.
"The only clue I got from Crusher was that it has something to do with them, so I bet it's good news!" Pickle grinned.
"We're here!" Swoops announced.
He soon hovered down to the field between the farmhouses. The monster machines all jumped out to meet up with Blaze, who beamed at the sight of them.
"Guys! Great to see you!"
"Great to see you too, Blaze!" Gasquatch greeted back.
"So, what big news?" Zeg asked.
"Well..." Blaze grinned sneakily as Crusher approached to join them. "Crushy, would you like to tell them?"
"Well..." Crusher sheepishly smiled. "I'm... pregnant."
"WHAT?!"
Zeg, Speedrick, and Gasquatch's jaws dropped in disbelief. Darington whooped in amazement while Pickle let out a cheer.
"CONGRATS!"
"But... how is that possible?!" Speedrick cried out. "You're a boy, aren't you, lightning boy?!"
"I'm... trans, actually," Crusher admitted.
"Yeah, he is," Pickle approved. "He only transitioned physically, so it's not so obvious,"
"Makes sense," Gasquatch gave an approved nod.
"Hang on!" Pickle took out his phone. "I have to call my family for the baby shower!"
"Oh boy..." Crusher winced as he watched his best friend drive off to call.
"Congratulations, Blaze and Crusher!" Zeg congratulated. "Zeg can't wait to see niece or nephew!"
"Thanks, Zeg," Blaze smiled.
"You guys are so lucky!" Swoops cried.
"Just wish your family would accept everything, Blaze," Darington sighed. "They've been fawning over your evil cousin Cryo for weeks now,"
"I wish that too," Blaze sighed.
"Well, how about we get inside for some tea?" Crusher suggested. "Grammy's made some for us,"
"Sure thing."
The group nodded, and they all entered the farmhouse for some tea.

Crusher was 7 months pregnant now. Blaze was becoming very overprotective since they found out some big news by the fifth month;
Crusher was carrying twins.
Since then, Blaze was making sure that Crusher was safe at all times. He watched over him and the twins, eyes always scanning for any threat that may approach them. Crusher found it lightly irritating but amusing as well.
"Blaze, can you calm down?" he sighed one day as he sat down on the couch and watched his boyfriend glancing at the window with narrowed eyes.
"Sorry, but... I just can't help but think there's something off about today." Blaze sighed and shut the window.
"Hmm..." Crusher glanced down at his tablet. It had been months since they checked out the news. "Wanna... see what's going on in the city? Who knows? Maybe news about us has passed over."
"Maybe that's a good idea," Blaze nodded and headed over to him.
They turned on the tablet and headed to the news. They glanced down at it and gasped.
"What the?!" Blaze's eye twitched. "What is this?! 'Blaze is cheater, as Cryo states'? Seriously?!"
"Jerk..." Crusher snarled.
"And check it out! People have been trying to find us," Blaze hissed. "Trying to kidnap our friends, using a tracker... everything! They've been trying to find for the past months!"
"So... we need to head somewhere people don't know about for a while..." Crusher deduced, pacing the floor. "But where could that be?"
"Hmm..." Blaze thought for a while before taking out his phone. "We'll need a little help. Let's call our friends,"
"Do you think they can help us, Blaze?" Crusher asked. "We... wouldn't wanna bother them. They're getting hurt and threatened too, you know,"
"I know... but we have to do something." Blaze pecked his forehead and smiled. "Don't worry. If they get hurt, they can hide out with us,"
"Okay... what do you have in mind?"
"Well... Gasquatch can help us hide out more in the forest," Blaze suggested. "Or we can hide out in Velocity Ville. The possibilities are endless! But for now, let's just call them to see if they can come and help us out,"
"Alright..." Crusher nodded but just as he was about to move, he gasped, clutching his stomach. "Oof,"
"You okay?" Blaze asked, rushing to his side.
Crusher didn't respond. Instead, he smiled and pulled on the other's tire, settling it on his stomach. Blaze was confused until he felt a small kick from inside.
"They're kicking..."
"Yep," Crusher giggled. "They're saying hi,"
"Hey there, sweet ones," Blaze cooed. "It may be tough for us in the real world, but when you come along, it'll be heaven on Earth."
More kicking came from inside, causing the pair to laugh.
"I think they're agreeing with you," Crusher smirked.
"Sure looks like it," Blaze chuckled and kissed his cheek. "We're all gonna find our way through this. I promise,"
"Thanks. Now, let's call the others." Crusher told him.
X
"So, there were trackers, huh?" Pickle snarled as they all gathered at the farmhouse for discussion.
"Yeah," Crusher nodded. "So we need a super discreet place, someone only me or Blaze has been two once or twice to hide."
"Well, definitely not in Axle City," Darington chuckled.
"And not in Velocity Ville because the others will find out soon," Speedrick sighed.
"Any place you guys been to that no one else had?" Gasquatch asked.
Pickle began to think.
What was a place that Blaze and Crusher went to, but could also be a protecting place?
Suddenly, it hit him of a perfect place.
"I know! The Great Forest!"
"The Great Forest?" Crusher repeated with a raised eyebrow. "The one with the flying lion that I stole the sunstone from...?"
"Roarian is never one to hold a grudge," Blaze assured. "I'm sure if we talk things out with him, we'll be okay. Besides, we'll be magically protected in there, and I'm sure Roarian can help us take care of the babies when they arrive."
"I... I guess..." Crusher smiled at his lover trustingly. "Okay, let's go,"
