"I... I feel awful..." Stripes sighed.

"Me too, ya'll," Starla nodded. "but what can we do? We… We've lost him already…"

"I... I don't know..." AJ sniffled, sitting on the floor to cry. "I just don't know...!!"

"You two are STILL in trouble for sneaking out of our home like that," Crusher reminded as the family drove past the park.

"We're so sorry, Papa..." Magma sighed.

"It's okay, just… never do it again," Crusher let out a sigh and turned to see his husband still not talking. "B? You okay?"

Blaze looked down at the ground with a heavy heart. "I'll be fine. Let's just find Roarian and fly home."

"ICE CREAM!" Inazuma squealed as soon as he heard a jingle nearby. "Can we go get some?!"

"Sure." Blaze shrugged.

"YIPPEE!" The twins cheered and zipped off to the ice cream seller.

"KIDS, STAY WITH ME!" Crusher yelled out, zooming to follow them.

This left Blaze alone with his thoughts for a moment as he went over to the pond. He sighed and began to ponder.

Just as he did, he failed to see a shadow creeping over the nearby tree, spying on him with a smirk before turning to the ice cream seller with a nod. The other truck let our a sigh before he returned the smirk and nodded as he handed the ice cream to the twins. As the kids drove off to eat, Crusher approached the seller to pay.

"Here you go."

"Oh... thanks. You have a nice day." the truck gave a grin. "Though, I'd be careful, Dynamite,"

Crusher stiffened at his past name, that he had never shared to anyone but Blaze, being spoken as he backed up from the ice cream seller in horror.

"H-How did you...?"

The truck sighed and took out a gun, pointing to him. "Sorry, little brother,"

"BLAZE!!"

As Crusher turned to run, someone blocked his path and hit him with a bat, knocking him out. The twins gasped and backed up as the two trucks approached their unconscious birth father.

"PAPA!!"

Their scream could be heard from the other side of the park, where Blaze was still pondering. Their scream made him jump in alarm.

"What? Oh, no..."

Blaze rushed back in their direction and screeched to a halt. He gasped as he found the kids now sobbing while the streets seemed completely empty.

His lover couldn't be seen anywhere.

"Crusher? CRUSHER?!" He yelled out in panic. "Kids, where's your papa?!"

"Some... mean trucks took him!" Inazuma sobbed.

"They hit him with a bat and took him away!" Magma wailed.

"Mean trucks?" Blaze looked shocked. "How did they look?"

"One was ice cream seller, looking icy blue, and other other blue that look like you, but with hood!" Magma yelled out.

"Cryo and Glacier…" Blaze growled.

"What do we do...?" Magma whimpered.

"I… I don't know…" Blaze hissed and sighed. "But I know that it's not safe for you kids to stay out here exposed. Come one, you two are staying with your Uncles Pickle and Darington for a while, but behave this time, okay?"

"Yes, Daddy..."

Blaze led them to Darington and Pickle's house and dropped the kids off. But as soon as he was out of range, he began to cry... hard.

What was he to do now that he's lost almost everyone he loves?

"Blaze, there you are!"

Roarian's voice from above made him look up to see the flying lion approach him. He landed in front of him and frowned at the tears rolling down the red truck's cheeks.

"What's happened?"

"Crusher..." Blaze choked. "Cyro and Glacier took him! I... I don't know what to do anymore, Roarian! The twins are in danger, I lost my friends and family, and now Crusher's gone! All of this... is because of me..."

"Blaze… do not despair," Roarian patted his back with his wing in assurance.

"How?! I took my eyes away from my family for ONE minute, and now Crusher's gone!" Blaze unmeaningly snapped. "Maybe... Pickle and Darington should just raise Maggie and Zuma. They'd take better care of them than I ever would. I mean, look at me. I got them into everything..."

"Blaze, do not blame yourself for all that has happened," Roarian told him. "Come, I know what can help you,"
