"Hmm, this is a problem…" Roarian hissed as he tried to heal the brothers.

"What do you mean?" Blaze asked. "What's wrong?"

"It seems that I… cannot reverse the darkness crawling up their skin," the flying lion replied. "It seems to be stuck,"

"W-What?" Blaze's eyes widened in

horror. "Then... w-w-what can we do?!"

"I… I am not sure," Roarian sighed.

"I-It's fine," Glacier assured them as he and Crusher got up, a little weak but they managed anyway. "This… This is normal, after what happened to Crusher earlier,"

"W-What do you mean?" Blaze asked. "This is something that's happened before?"

"Yes," Crusher nodded his head. "It was a few years back, but it didn't really leave much marks. Glacier… he… tried to kill me at that time, and when he did, Grammy tried to get me healed by a healer. It worked, but Dynama didn't want it to, so she tried attacking, and we all end up casting a family reversal spell,"

"A family reversal spell?"

"It's a spell that happens when our most powerful magic clashes," Glacier explained. "Crusher got frost bite from my attack, and after the clash, we all got frost bite,"

"That's another reason why Dynama tried to get rid of my magic; to make sure we don't clash again," Crusher sighed. "but I guess we did anyway,"

"It'll be okay," Blaze assured. "We'll find a way to stop them... if I can think of a plan." But, then he turned to Glacier and sighed. "Glacier... I owe you an apology. I shouldn't have snapped at you the way I did. I knew you were upset about Speedrick, and I guess I over-reacted."

"I'm sorry too," Glacier apologized, to them both. "I… Speedrick had been the first truck to care about me, so seeing him hurt and me not being able to do anything about it just made me snap, even though I shouldn't,"

"We forgive you," Crusher smiled weakly. "Speaking of Speedrick... how is he, Roarian?"

"And the kids?" Blaze asked quickly.

"I still need to heal them, but they will be fine," Roarian assured them. "The twins are already resting and should be healed by tomorrow, but Blaze, I would need your help to cure the others,"

"You got it." Blaze nodded.

He grabbed his sunstone then they all headed to the room where the Quadruplets were. Darington and Pickle were at their bedsides, still watching over them as the four entered the room.

"Guys! You're back!" Darington sighed. "But... what happened to Crush and Glacier?"

"Effects of a family reversal spell," Blaze explained. "Roarian and I will heal the quad as best we can. You two stand back."

Darington and Pickle nodded and backed up as Roarian and Blaze stepped forward. Their sunstones glowed brightly as their magic loomed over the quad. Little by little, they started to gain their color as the illness slowly faded away.

"It's working!" Pickle whispered.

The curse started to cease, and the quad all squirmed before crying as the last of the pain left them. Pickle and Darington quickly got them to hold them and rock them to sleep as the group sighed in relief.

"They should be okay by tomorrow," Roarian said. "But we need to let them rest."

"Now we just need to heal Speedrick," Blaze sighed.

"Yes! Finally!" Glacier sped out of the room.

Crusher chuckled before feeling himself a little dizzy. He grasped the wall for a moment, panting, much to the red truck's concern.

"Are you okay? Is this another affect of the spell?" Blaze asked, driving to his side.

"I… I don't know, this… this has never happened before," Crusher took a deep breath and shook his head to clear away the dizziness.

"Hang on," Blaze said. "I'll use my sunstone and scan for the problem."

As his sunstone glowed, however, Crusher's lightning opposed it, his lightning magic darkening as the marks on his body glowed purple.

"Whoa!" the pair gasped.

"Roarian, do you know what's happening?" Blaze turned to the flying lion, who frowned and shook his head.

"No... I don't."

"So... how can we find out?" Crusher asked. "We need a way to fix me and Glacier, and a way to stop my crazy sister and Blaze's wacko cousin! Uh... no offense."

"None taken," Blaze assured. "Cyro is a bit of a nincompoop."

"Perhaps if Blaze and I scan you and Glacier together, it might work," Roarian suggested. "but perhaps later, Glacier is waiting for us to heal Speedrick,"

"Good idea. Let's go."

They all headed to the other room and found Glacier by Speedrick's bedside. He himself looked a little dizzy as he forced himself up and turned to them.

"Good, you're here. The weirdest thing happened--"

"We know," Blaze told him. "It happened to Crusher, too. But we'll worry about that later. Let's just worry about Speedrick."

"Right,"

Glacier nodded and stepped aside to let them work their magic. Blaze and Roarian's sunstones glowed brightly and hovered over the white truck. Thought the process of healing took longer than it had been for the quad, eventually, Speedrick started to heal, his skin turning back to normal.

"He'll probably be okay in the next several days," Blaze assured. "We'll just need to keep an eye on him."

"So... what can we do about our other situations?" Crusher asked. "Not that Speedrick isn't any less important than everything else."

"Definitely not less important," Glacier huffed and went closer to lay his head beside Speedrick's body. "but yeah, I guess you're right, but what should we start with first? The villain problem or the whole… incurable curse problem?"

"Let's start with the incurable curse problem," Blaze suggested. "Let's head out, so we can scan you two,"

"Okay." The brothers nodded and headed outside.

They headed to the field, and Blaze and Roarian allowed their sunstones to glow as they scanned them. As they did, the marks on the brothers' bodies glowed purple once more.

"Wha... what's going on with our markings?" Glacier asked.

"That's the problem," Crusher told him. "Watch,"

Glacier looked confused until he noticed his ice crystals appear from out of nowhere and without his consent, as did Crusher's lightning. Both magic turned black before swatting over at Blaze and Roarian.

"WHOA!!"

The two jumped back to avoid getting hit. Glacier gasped.

"O~kay, did NOT see that coming,"

"Hmm... Roarian, do you think the Lake of Wonders could provide us with some answers on what to do?" Blaze asked.

"Perhaps," Roarian nodded. "Come, we must get there at once,"

"The lake of what now?" Crusher looked confused.

"It's a magical lake in a cave in the middle of the forest," Blaze explained. "If we all go there, maybe it can give us some answers. Let's fly!"

Their sunstones glowed, and they begin to hover up. Glacier and Crusher planned to not use their magic, but their marks gave a glow of purple before they could even try, and they started to turn into their dragon forms to fly up.

Soon, they quickly departed for the lake, and arrived there in just a few short minutes.

"We're here!" Blaze announced as he and Roarian landed.

Glacier and Roarian went behind them, landing with a thud as their forms diverted back to truck as their marks glowed stronger.

"Uh oh..." Crusher gulped. "Maybe you and Roarian should go in there without us, B. We might cause damage to the lake."

"Okay, but you two stay here and try not to do anything to worsen your condition," Blaze told him, pecking his cheek. "We'll be back,"

He and Roarian entered the cave, and with a firm nod, entered the lake, and let it's enchanted waters carry them to the bottom.

[I see you two have returned.] The lake spoke.

"Yes, oh great lake," Blaze said with a bow. "We need your help with several serious problems."

[One at a time.] the lake told them. [First?]

"Crusher and his brother Glacier have been infected with a curse we are unable to cure," Roarian explained, "all thanks to their sister Dynama's magic. We are hoping, since you are so wise, you might have answers for us."

The lake didn't respond. Instead, it swirled it's waters around them and showed them an image of a large mansion.

"A mansion?" Blaze asked.

The door of the mansion swung open, and an image of a young Crusher, about 7 years of age, drive inside, looking a little scared. Images of Dynama and Glacier, about 12 years old, soon appeared, laughing mockingly at their brother, who whimpered and couldn't look up to face them.

"Wow... I never realized how awful Crusher's siblings were to him back then..." Blaze sighed, but smiled once Roarian's wing wrapped around him.

The image of Crusher was soon crying as the door swung open to reveal an image of Grammy. She called for Crusher, who gasped and jumped into her tires. Dynama rolled her eyes and drove off. Glacier growled, jealous as his ice crystals appeared from the ground.

As soon as Grammy left, Glacier went forward and grabbed Crusher, his magic penetrating through him while the other screamed. Blaze and Roarian gasped as the image of Glacier then threw Crusher over to the wall and drove off. Young Crusher shuddered as he glanced down at his tires, which was turning icy blue in the cold.

"Oh no... what did Glacier do?!" Blaze cried out.

"He DID tell us he had attacked Crusher before," Roarian told him. "This must be that time,"

"Oh... poor Crusher... but I don't exactly understand, great lake. Why are you showing us all this?"

[Patience, young guardian.] the lake responded.

"Right... you must be showing us this for a reason..." Blaze sighed. "We'll just keep watching."

The lake seemed satisfied, and the image swirled until they were at a clearing. Dynama had turned into her dragon form, along with Glacier and were attacking Crusher. The poor boy was running for his life until he reached his Grammy. The elderly woman comforted him and whispered something into his ear, causing him to nod and face his siblings. He took a deep breath and slowly transformed into his lightning dragon form, roaring at his older siblings.

"This must be the first time he transformed!" Blaze gasped.

The siblings battled through air. Their powers sent everywhere until there was a clash. At the clash, the trio were taken back before they all fell to the ground, dragon forms fading to their truck forms as they hit the ground and were knocked out.

Their Grammy drove over to make that they were alright. When the siblings came to, Blaze gasped as he realized that they all had icy blue tires after the clash.

"Frostbite!"

"This must be the memory Crusher told us about." Roarian pointed out.

Grammy looked over in concern before smiling and leading them off. The image shifted, and the pair found themselves in a basement workshop, with spell books and other magical items on the shelves.

"Whoa... Grammy has to be a high level enchantress!" Blaze exclaimed.

"Indeed,"

Roarian agreed as they watched Grammy drive to a table and hold out a potion towards the siblings. Dynama gagged but drank it anyway. Glacier drank too, as did Crusher. Soon, the ice on their tires turned solid, causing all their tires to freeze up in blocks of ice.

"Whoa! Was that supposed to happen?" Blaze questioned.

"Perhaps so, look,"

Roarian motioned him to watch on, and they watched as Grammy calmly used her own magic to destroy the ice blocks, along with their tires, then she got a wand and waved it around, bringing back their tires, ice free. The siblings cheered, with Crusher hugging his Grammy in thanks.

"Roarian... what do these images have in common?" Blaze asked.

"I have no clue…" Roarian sighed. "Almighty lake, please, show us more that we need to know,"

[As you wish.]

The image soon faded into night time. Young Crusher was heading inside the mansion when his Grammy stopped him. She gave a shushing motion before handing a book of spells and cures.

"Grammy... she's in all these memories!" Blaze gasped. "We need to talk to her!"

"Yes! She might know a cure!" Roarian agreed.

The lake seemed satisfied before it lifted them out of it's waters. The image disappeared as it did so before placing them back on land gently.

[Good luck, guardians.]

"Wait! We have one more question," Blaze called. "We need a plan to defeat Cyro and Dynama, and we need help."

[That is something I cannot help you with, for you both are the guardians while I am simply a lake who can grant wisdom.] the lake spoke. [When the time comes, you know what to do.]

"Well... okay... let's go find Grammy. Thanks again, oh great one." Blaze gave a bow.

[And find her quickly. The curse is worsening with every second…]

As if on cue, a roar from outside the cave echoed around.

"Oh no..."

The pair dashed out to see Glacier in his dragon form, eyes glowing red as he proceeded to freeze the forest wildly. Crusher was on the ground, holding his head in pain.

"CRUSHER! GLACIER!!"

Glacier turned to them and roared out his ice. The two dodged it swiftly as Crusher let out a lightning roar, transforming into his dragon self.

"What can we do?! They're out of control!" Blaze yelled out.

"We need to find Crusher's grandmother immediately, so she may help save them," Roarian told him.

"But what about them? They could destroy the forest!" Blaze said.

Roarian sighed and took off into the air. "We have only one option,"

His sunstone glowed bright and targeted at Glacier. The ice dragon roared out in pain as a chain of flames went around his neck and pinned him to the ground.

Blaze sighed. "You're right..."

He took off into the sky and aimed his sunstone to his husband. With a 'im sorry' muttered under his breath, he blasted his spouse, causing a chain to be wrapped around his neck and pinning him to the ground. Crusher let out a pained roar before whimpering up at the red truck.

"Don't worry," Blaze assured, rubbing the dragon's back. "We'll make you better. I promise."

"Come, Blaze, the sooner they stay like this, the harder it is to reverse it," Roarian called out.

"Ok..." Blaze sighed and nodded before flying after the flying lion.
