Meanwhile, back in the city, Roarian flew across the skies as he tried to find where the villains are.
Since Pickle and the Blaze Family left, the trio had been causing mayhem all over the city. Roarian and the rest of the gang had been doing their best to help everyone escape and stay safe, letting them stay in Stripes's treehouse while the gang stayed in Gabby's Garage.
Unfortunately, the Villains' chaos were so horrid that Darington was in a coma, Stripes lost an eye, Starla was banged up badly, Watts was missing two of her electric tires, one of Zeg's horns had been cut off, and Gabby was badly overworked.
Roarian had been the only one not badly affected. He had been struck down and hurt, but it wasn't as bad as the others.
As he searched for the villains, his sunstone glowed. He glanced down at it as he felt it communicate with him.
"Blaze, Crusher and their family… had succeeded?" He gasped. "That is great news!"
He made his way to tell the others when his sunstone glowed again, motioning him to head back to the Great Forest.
"Truly? Alright…"
Roarian sighed and nodded before flying all the way to the Great Forest. His animal friends greeted him the moment he flew by. As he flew, a portal suddenly opened in front of him, causing him stop as he watched the family stumble out of it and landing on the grass below.
"We made it!" Blaze exclaimed.
"Yay! We're back!" Sparkle cheered.
"Indeed you all are," Roarian flew down to greet them.
"Roarian!" Blaze's eyes lit up at the sight of his friend. "Where are the others?"
"Back at the garage, badly injured," Roarian hissed. "Darington being at the worst condition,"
"W-What do you mean...?" Phoenix asked.
"He's… in a coma," Roarian replied. "Krisha and Calvin had him cornered that one time and beat him up senseless until he just… wouldn't wake up…"
"No no no no…" Blaze felt himself hyperventilate in shock and horror as he was taken back. "Is… Is he…?"
"No, he's… still alive, just… not awake," Roarian sighed.
"But Blaze can heal him once it's over... right?" AJ wondered.
"I can heal him now!" Blaze beamed and jumped to dash off.
"Blaze, WAIT!" Crusher held him back. "We still need to make the Element Scepter, remember?"
"Oh right... how do we do that?" Blaze wondered.
"You will use the black rocks from your abilities," Roarian told them. "While the gems symbolise their elements, your rocks will symbolise each of yours,"
"Alright, let's do this!" Blaze smiled and nodded.
They both closed their eyes and focused their magic. Their bodies glowed blue and crescent, and gold and sun as black rocks glowing with their color appeared from below.
Roarian waited until the rocks were out enough then he used his sunstone to chop two of the rocks out of ten ground. He then took the rocks and handed them to Blaze and Crusher.
"Here are your scepter bases,"
"What about the stones?" AJ asked.
"They are needed to be with them when it comes to wielding the scepter," Roarian answered. "But the gems are a necessity. Did you have them all?"
"Uh huh."
They all brought out the stones. At once, the rocks glowed bright, as did the gems before zooming towards the scepter. They circled around the rocks, and with a blast of light, the Fire Ruby, Water Sapphire, Earth Emerald, and the Sky Diamond were unified onto the rocks, which had turned blue and gold and glowed silver, creating a magnificent and powerful-looking scepter.
"Whoa..."
The scepter fell into Blaze's tire, causing it to glow gold. It then hovered and glowed blue as it fell into Crusher's tire.
"What's… it doing?" Crusher asked as the scepter hovered again.
"To wield the scepter, you must know how to use it," Roarian explained. "And to know how to use it, you must train,"
"Train? Now?" Blaze looked surprised.
"But what about Zhan Tiri? And my parents?!" Crusher cried out.
"I know that we don't have much time, but if you don't train, neither of you will be able to use the scepter," Roarian told them.
"Alright, alright, we'll train," Blaze nodded. "But what about the others? Without you, how are they going to defend themselves?"
"While you guys train, the rest of us will head to Axle City and help the others!" Pickle offered, taking out his magic wand. "And I can use my magic wand to help too!"
"Okay..."
The duo looked hesitant but nodded anyway. Roarian gave a nod and a smile before turning back to the duo.
"Now, are you ready to train?"
"I guess so..." Blaze sighed.
"Mm-hmm…" Crusher hummed in agreement.
"Then come, we don't have much time," Roarian urged them.
X
"GUYS!" Pickle cheered as he and the Blaze Family burst into the garage. "We're back!"
"Pickle!" They all turned with a sigh of relief.
"We're glad you guys are back!" Stripes cried out.
"It's only been one day, and things are already so chaotic!" Starla added.
"Sheesh... you guys DO look rough! But don't worry-- Blaze will be back to fix you up soon!" AJ said.
"Where is he, anyway?" Gabby asked, focused on fixing Starla.
"He and Crusher have the scepter, but they still need to train to be able to use it," Sparkle replied.
"How long will that take?" Watts asked.
The family glanced at over at each other before shrugging. Pickle gave a thought before shrugging as well.
"Roarian never told us, honestly…"
"Aw man," Stripes hissed as he adjusted the eye patch on his lost eye. "but okay, we can wait a little bit longer. You guys here to help?"
"Yeah... in whatever way we can." Flame declared.
Suddenly, an explosion came from outside. Stripes and Zeg jumped in alert.
"Looks like their attacking again," the tiger truck sighed. "Gabby, is Starla good to go?"
"Of course I'm ready!" Starla jumped to her tires.
"Well, she still has a lot of dents, but other than that, alright," Gabby sighed with a yawn.
"Rest up, Gabby," AJ said. "Starla, you be careful, and come back once the villains are too much for you."
"I'll be fine, ya'll! Let's go!" Starla twirled her lasso.
With that, she, Stripes and Zeg zoomed off. Pickle sighed and took out his wand to go after them.
"I'll go make sure that they're okay,"
With that, he zipped after them. Gabby yawned and slumped towards a chair to take a rest. Sparkle looked around and found Darington on a bed nearby, unconscious and knocked out, as Roarian said.
"Oh... I'm sorta glad Blaze isn't here to see this..."
"Hmm?" Watts glanced over at Darington and sighed. "Yeah, me too. That happened yesterday, just a few hours after you all left,"
"Blaze was so worried that he was dead, but Roarian explained that he was just... you know... like this..."
"Speaking of Blaze, I wonder how my boys are doing..." Phoenix sighed.
"I'm sure they'll be fine," Flame assured her. "What could happen?"

"AAAAAAHHHH!"
Blaze and Crusher screamed as the scepter they held onto dragged them across the forest. Roarian flew after them with a hiss as they were dragged.
"Roarian! Do you mind explaining why this thing is DRAGGING US?!" Crusher shrieked.
"When the elements are not controlled by a wielder, it takes control OF the wielder's next actions instead!" Roarian explained, trying his best to catch up. "Just let go!"
"Uh... okay!"
They released the scepter, causing them both to fall in the nearby river with a splash. They groaned as the scepter levitated above them.
"We're never gonna get this..." Crusher groaned as he and Blaze climbed out of the river.
"Have patience, friends, you will learn," Roarian assured them before turning to the scepter. "This is one of the most powerful scepters of all time, it is no surprise that it is quite difficult to use,"
"Ugh…" Crusher took a deep breath. "Okay, okay…"
"Maybe I'll try practicing with it first," Blaze offered. "After me, you can have a turn, sound good?"
"Okay..."
Crusher nodded. Blaze smiled and took the scepter into his tire.
"Okay, so… what element should I try?"
"I recommend the Fire Ruby, for it is closer to the element of the Sundrop," Roarian suggested.
"Okay... how do I activate it?"
"Focus your magic onto the Fire Ruby and command it in your mind,"
"Okay…"
Blaze took a deep breath and did as the flying lion spoke. In an instant, the Fire Ruby began to glow a bright red.
"Woah…" Crusher gasped.
The Fire Ruby glowed more intensively as Blaze focused harder. As he did, flames began to appear in the air and swirl around in a small fire tornado, which fell onto the ground as the gem ceased it's glow. Blaze opened his eyes.
"Did... did it work?"
"It sure did! You just made a small fire tornado!" Crusher cried out.
"I… did?" Blaze glanced at the fire tornado. "Amazing!"
Suddenly, the fire tornado started to swirl faster and faster until it started to grow large and burn the trees.
"Uh oh... I better stop it!"
Blaze held out the scepter, but the Fire Ruby gave no glow this time. He tried focusing but nothing worked as the tornado got larger and larger.
"I-It's not working! Roarian, what do I do?!"
"Crusher, use the Water Sapphire to put out the fire!" Roarian commanded.
"Uh... okay!"
Crusher got the scepter and focused his magic towards it. The Water Sapphire gave a bright glow of blue as the dark blue truck swung the scepter at the tornado of flames. Instantly, a small tsunami put out the flames, leaving the trees and grass wet but safe from fire.
"Phew! That was close!" Blaze sighed in relief.
"At least the tsunami didn't get out of control…" Crusher nodded.
"But... why couldn't I put the fire out?" Blaze questioned.
"You cannot put out fire with fire, that is what you were focusing on," Roarian explained. "If you focused on claiming back the fire, the Fire Ruby would have responded better,"
"Oh... ok." Blaze sighed. "How long will this training last?"
"Yeah, I'm tired too," Crusher agreed.
"I know that you are both tired, but if we don't train, you two will never get the hang of it," Roarian told them.
"Alright, alright," Blaze took a deep breath and got the scepter again. "Let's try this again,"
