It had been many months since Crusher had returned to his island home thanks to his friends.
A sailing trip turned into an adventure for the group as they made their way through the island to defeat the cruel king of the island, Crusher's grandfather Fortius. Along the way, they gained magical abilities and took in three young friends who were orphaned, lost and abused.
When the time came to face Fortius, with their magic combined and the power of love, they defeated the cruel king with ease and freed the island from his ruling. Crusher was then crowned king, as the only living descendant of Fortius.
He loved being the king of his island, watching over his subjects and caring for them. To make things better was his mother, whom he managed to bring back.
Life was peaceful in the island under his ruling until one day…
It had been an ordinary day. Crusher had begun his duties as the king, as he usually did, with the help of his mother Samira. It was all going normally until the guards and the Royal Adviser Shani came in with some dire news.
"Your majesty!!" she yelped.
"Shani, what is it, dear?" Samira asked.
"There's been rumors of danger from the other parts of the island!" Shani replied. "Some are saying that the evil Fortius has returned!"
"What?! That's impossible!" Crusher gasped. "Guards, prepare the flying horses! I have to see this for myself..."
"Yes, your majesty!" the guards nodded and headed off.
"Father? Back in the island?" Samira paled. "How could that be?"
"I don't know, but I'll go find out," Crusher promised. "In the meantime, Mom, call Blaze and the others and send some flying magic to get them here pronto!"
"Understood," Samira nodded and drove off.

Meanwhile, in Axle City, Blaze and AJ were playing in the park with Kijana, the young jackal they had taken in. The poor jackal pup had been the last of her pack since the rock slide, and with the magic collar on her neck that Samira gave her, she managed to find her new home, which was with Blaze and AJ.
"Go on, Kijana!" AJ giggled, throwing her a ball. "Fetch it, girl!"
Kijana laughed as she ran off to get the ball. She grabbed it and ran back, pouncing onto AJ and knocking him down playfully as the boy laughed.
"Good job! Wow... it sure has been great having you."
"Aww! Thanks, AJ!" Kijana laughed.
"Okay, my turn!" Blaze got the ball.
Suddenly, AJ's watch beeped, and Kijana whimpered sadly. "Is playtime over?"
"Don't worry, Kijana, we'll just answer this," AJ reassured her before pressing to answer. "Hello?"
["Blaze, AJ? It's Samira, Crusher's mother. We need your help-- you and your friends."]
"What's going on, Ms. Samira?" Blaze asked.
["I'm... afraid that Father has somehow returned."]
"W-What?!" Kijana yelped, ears folding down and stepping back with a stumble. "How?! Why?! What do we do?!"
["We do not know if it's true or all a false rumor, but just in case, we are in need of help,"]
"Okay. Kijana, send out the emergency howl," AJ instructed. "We'll be there as soon as we can."
["I'll send some flying magic your way once you are ready. Good luck."]
With that, the call ended. Kijana whimpered as she curled up.
"It'll be okay, sweet girl," AJ said, planting a kiss on the jackal's nose. "You know what to do."
Kijana uncurled herself and nodded. Taking a deep breath, she let out the biggest howl she ever did-- a howl so loud, Watts and Gabby, Darington, Starla, Zeg, Stripes and Pickle heard it and came rolling toward the park at top speed.
"Hey, B! What's going on?" Darington asked as soon as they were all there.
"Samira called me from the island," Blaze said. "Somehow... Fortius has returned. She said it could be a rumor, but would like our help if need be."
"The evil king is back?!" Starla growled.
"We're ready to help!" Watts declared.
"But wait, how do we get to the island so quickly?" Stripes wondered.
"Like this," AJ smiled and called Samira again. "Samira, send your magic toward us. We're ready."
Samira nodded and released her magic through the screen. The magic surrounded the group with a whoosh, and when it was cleared out, they found themselves back on the island.
"Wow! That was quick!" Pickle beamed.
"Guys!"
Only a moment later, Crusher flew down to them on a magnificent winged horse with blue streaks in her mane and tail and dazzling green eyes.
"Hey, Crusher!" Blaze greeted before clearing his throat and bowing. "I mean, greetings, King Crusher. You called?"
"You don't have to do that, Blaze. But I'm glad you're here. Shani was right-- Grandfather has returned... in spirit form. Moonbeam, my horse and I just saw him and his spirit sister Calana tourmenting some rabbits on the coast."
"Oh no!" AJ gasped.
"What can we do to stop him?" Stripes asked.
"I think my mom will know of a way. Come on, I'll get you to the palace."
Then, he waved his scepter and chanted a spell under his breath, making them all rise into the air.
"Woah!"
They all gasped as they were lifted from the ground. Crusher then took off on Moonbeam, prompting the others to follow after them all the way to the palace. They landed in the garden with a thud and was met by Shani, who ran to them.
"Blaze, everyone! You're back!"
"Hi, Shani!" Kijana greeted the fox.
"Hey there, Shani," Blaze smiled and patted the fox. "We heard the problem and came to help!"
"You're just in time. Samira is waiting for you in the Great Mirror Room. Come on!"
Crusher gave Moonbeam a gentle pat before he and Shani led the group inside. They went through the halls and headed straight to the Great Mirror Room, where Samira awaited them.
"Welcome back, friends. I just wish it was under different circumstances."
"It's okay. We're happy we can come to help," Blaze reassured her.
"How bad IS the situation?" Starla questioned.
"Watch." Samira placed her tire on the silver mirror before her, and her eyes gave off a silvery white glow. "Magic mirror, let me see, how bad our situation will be."
The magic mirror glowed with her eyes as it showed the images of the animals being tormented by the two villains. Most were suffering while others were so scared that they were hiding out.
"Oh no..." Stripes muttered.
"How is the mirror doing that?" Darington asked. "Not that I'm not worried about the situation. I'm just asking."
"It is a magic mirror, one that can see all and everything, even from far away," Samira explained. "This had helped me and Crushy see and watch over our island,"
"Do you have any idea of how to stop all this, Samira?" AJ asked.
"I do... but there are some chances it won't work."
"Why do you say that, Mom?" Crusher asked.
"We... have to talk to the other kingdoms."
"Oh…"
"Is… that a bad thing?" Blaze wondered.
"Well… not entirely…" Crusher grimaced. "Other kingdoms aren't that easy to ally with…"
"Oh…" the group nodded in understanding.
"Why?" Darington asked. "What's up with the other kingdoms?"
"We all get along fine, but they are pretty… hard to convince," Crusher admitted.
"Who are these rulers?" Gabby asked.
"The first of them is Queen Camilla, ruler of the Sky Kingdom," Samira told them.
"And the second is King Hydro, ruler of the Water Kingdom," Crusher added.
"Okay, two rulers that we need to convince to help us," Blaze nodded in understanding. "To who do we go first?"
"The Sky Kingdom, it's not too far away. We just have to fly up into the clouds above us." Crusher answered.
"And how do we do that?" Darington tilted his head.
"We can fly up there with some flying horses," Crusher told them. "Come on!"
They headed out of the palace and towards the royal stables, where the flying horses were being kept. A guard gave a bow as they entered the stables.
"Wow, look at all these horses!" Blaze gasped.
"Blaze, I have a special horse in mind for you," Crusher beamed, bringing out a black Arabian with three red streaks in her mane and tail, and the same blue eyee as Blaze. "Meet Scarlet!"
"Wow! She's beautiful…" Blaze gasped.
Samira brought out a beautiful appaloosa with pink highlights in her mane and tail, also having four white socks on all four of her legs, and has brown eyes and silver hooves, wearing pink tack with a pink heart on her bridle. "Watts, this is Calypso."
"Wow…" Watts's eyes widened in amazement. "Hello, Calypso…"
The appaloosa whinnied cheerfully and nuzzled her.
"D'aww, she's adorable!" Watts giggled.
Crusher then brought out a light grey purebred Dutch Warmblood gelding with a grey blaze along is face and muzzle and neon green eyes. He also has four white stockings on all four of his legs. He is easily identified by his indigo highlights in his white mane and tail. He could be also identified by his purple gear and a diamond on his bridle. "Starla, meet Chili. He may be headstrong, but he's the most loyal horse you'll ever meet."
"Chili, huh?" Starla grinned as she approached him. "Hey there, fella. Don't you look strong!"
Chili snorted, holding his head up proudly.
Samira then brought out a black and white pinto mare with green highlights in her mane, also having green gear the same color, and having a clover on her bridle. "Pickle, meet Button!"
"Hello, Button!" Pickle greeted with a giggle. "Wow! You really are cute as a button!"
Samira soon brought out a light bay Kiger mustang. He has a dark brown mane and tail with bold blue highlights and has a white marking around his muzzle. He has brown hooves, and dark blue eyes, and a symbol of lightning on his bridle. "Darington, meet Aztec!"
"Woah, he looks amazing!" Darington beamed. "Hello, Aztec!"
Aztec proudly whinnied, just as Crusher brought out a a Palomino American Paint geldingwith a white mane and tail with yellow highlights and also has light blue tack, with a yellow and blue sun on the bridle. "Stripes, this is Sunburst. He's one of the only horses that you can ride bareback!"
"Rawrr! Awesome!" Stripes grinned. "Nice to meet you Sunburst!"
"Zeg, we have a special horse for you!" Samira said, bringing out a brown horse with a white mane and tail, and green highlights with green gear. "Meet Buddy!"
"Hello, Buddy!" Zeg beamed at the sight of the horse, who nuzzled him. "Hi hi, Buddy so cute!"
"What about your horse, Samira?" AJ asked.
"He's right here." Samira whistled, and this brought out a beautiful black and white horse with dark blue highlights. "Meet Ronack."
"Wow! You're horse is amazing!" Blaze complimented.
"Ooh, do we get to come too?!!" Kijana asked, motioning to Shani and herself.
"Of course!" Blaze said as AJ got onboard him as he got on Scarlet. "Hop on one of the horses!"
"Yay!" Kijana cheered. "Hmm… which horse should I go on…?"
"You can ride with me on Chili," Starla offered. "And Shani, you get on with Blaze."
"Okay!" Shani nodded and hopped onto Scarlet.
"Alright, let's go," Crusher told them as he called for Moonbeam before hopping onto her. "Hyah!!"
The horses galloped out of the stable before taking off into the skies. They all gasped and cheered as they flew up.
"Whoa! These horses are fast!" AJ exclaimed.
"And they're just about to go faster," Crusher grinned. "Giddy up, horses!"
The horses let out another neigh before flying higher and faster, up into the clouds. They soon made it over the clouds. From a distance, they spotted a palace coming up through the sky.
"Wow! Amazing!"
They all gasped. Crusher took a deep breath as they approached the kingdom. Samira noticed the hesitation and frowned.
"Crushy? What's the matter?"
"Nothing! Just…" Crusher hissed. "This is my first alliance attempt with the other kingdoms. I… I don't wanna mess this up,"
"You'll do great. I'll be right next to you." Samira assured him.
"Okay..."
"Samira, is there anything else we should know about this place?" Gabby asked.
"Everyone who lives here has magical fairy wings, and their queen is very kind toward her people." Samira told them.
"Well, let's go!" Blaze exclaimed. "Hyah, Scarlet!"
The horses neighed before flying towards the kingdom. The horses landed on the sturdy cloud with a slight thud. They hopped off just as the guards of the kingdom approached them.
"State your business!" they demanded.
"We need to speak with your queen," Watts said. "It's super urgent!"
"A non-magical, common truck like you have no permission to set tire on this kingdom!" a guard yelled.
"We seek her audience, please." Samira drove forward.
The guards were taken back as they seemed to have recognized her as her eyes flashed white.
"S-Samira...?"
"It's the princess King Fortius killed!"
"But how is she alive?"
"I don't know…"
"Yes, it is I," Samira nodded before motioning to Crusher. "And this is my son Crusher, the new king of the Enchanted Isle. We wish to speak with your queen, Queen Camilla about some urgent news,"
"Yes, your highness! Right away!"
They gave a bow and led the group to the palace. There, they found more guards, who murmured at the sight of them as they entered the palace doors and was met by the queen herself.
"What a surprise," Queen Camilla spoke, eyeing them.
"Queen Camilla…" Samira bowed, as did Crusher, who motioned the others to the same.
"I see that you managed to survive your father's reign…" Camilla spoke before turning to the group. "And allying yourself with… non-magical creatures, I see…"
"Um... yes. I want you to meet my son and the new king of our island, Crusher. He has something to ask of you."
Camilla turned to Crusher, who gulped but managed to stand firm. She sighed and crossed her tires.
"What is it that you want?"
"Well... um... Grandfather's spirit has somehow returned, along with the spirit of his sister, and... we could use your help to stop them. I... I lost my mom once... and I can't lose her and my home. Please...?"
"Hmm… I still do not see how this affects my people," Camilla spoke. "Up in the sky, we are safe from Fortius and Calara. Tell me what gain would we achieve from helping you, King Crusher?"
"Your people would get new allies and get protected?"
"Hmm… anything else?"
"Uh…"
Crusher glanced at his mother for help. Samira sighed and drove forward to his side.
"Queen Camilla, if Father and Aunt Calara managed to win against us, the Enchanted Isle will be gone for good, and they might as well target your kingdom next. Please, your majesty, if our forces ally with each other, we will be stronger to defeat them,"
"Hmm… well, that IS true…" Queen Camilla seemed to give it a thought.
"So... will you help us?" Crusher asked. "We sure could use a wise fairy queen to help make group decisions."
"Hmm…" Camilla sighed. "Oh, alright. You've swayed me to a decision. My kingdom and I will help you against Fortius and Calara,"
"Thank you," Samira smiled.
"Dogo!" Camilla called. "Please bring me my scrolls, my feather pen and ink!"
"Yes, your majesty!"
Kijana stiffened at the name and the familiar voice.
It couldn't be?
Could it…?
With a tray with the requested items in his mouth, in trotted a creamy brown jackal pup with a beige underbelly and muzzle and light brown paws. He bears three darker spots on either shoulder, and his back, tail tip, and the top of his head are black in color, and his eyes are a distinctive dark blue. The fur on the top of his head and his cheeks were scruffy, and his tail was bushy.
"Here your majesty! Is there anything I... can do...?" Dogo responded happily, before his eyes fell on the other jackal in the room, eyes widening in shock. "K-Kijana…?"
"D-Dogo…?" Kijana looked close to tears. "I-Is that really you…?"
"I-It is... it really is!!"
"DOGO!" Kijana ran to the other jackal pup, who set the tray down as he was met by his sister pouncing on him. "YOU'RE ALIVE!"
"YOU ARE TOO!! Oh, I missed you so much! What happened?! How have you been?!"
"Great now that I found you! How did you manage to get here?!"
"One of the fairies found me unconcious in the rubble and brought me here! I... I can't believe you're here!"
"Hold up-- back back back back back, back back back!" Darington said, stopping them. "You two... know each other?"
"Yeah!" Kijana nodded. "This is Dogo, my brother!"
"Aww, how cute!" Gabby cooed. "Come here, fella!"
Dogo beamed and ran to the girl, wagging his tail happily. "Aww, thanks! But how did YOU survive, Kijana?"
"Some... miracle I guess," Kijana shrugged. "What about Mom, Dad, Aunt Saloma and Uncle Fredo? Are they here too?"
"No... I never saw them here with me..." Dogo shook his head.
"Oh... that's... okay, I guess. Blaze, can Dogo come with us? I'd love to catch up with him." Kijana asked.
"Well, if it's okay with Queen Camilla," Blaze turned to the queen.
"Fine, fine, as long as the duties are done right," Queen Camilla nodded. "Dogo, hand me the tray then you can go with your sister,"
"Thank you, your majesty!" Dogo beamed and handed the tray before heading over to Kijana, who was now at Blaze's side.
"Alright, so, what can I do to help, King Crusher?" Camilla asked, taking a scroll and the pen from the tray.
"Send a message to your greatest fairy warriors, and tell them to prepare themselves."
"Of course," Camilla nodded.
"Thank you, your majesty," Samira gave a smile. "Your help will be most appreciated,"
"All right, now what?" asked Dogo.
"Time to head to the underwater kingdom," Crusher told him.
"How can we do that?" Pickle asked. "We won't be able to breath underwater."
"Good point, Pickle," said Blaze.
"Not with a little magic," Samira smiled. "Come, let us get back to our horses and fly to the ocean. I'll explain the rest once we're there,"
"Okay," Blaze nodded, before turning to Camilla and bowing. "Thank you again, Queen Camilla."
"Yes, thank you, Queen Camilla," Crusher bowed as well. "I look forward to working with you once we gather,"
"As am I. Good luck."
The group turned and headed out. They met up and hopped onto the horses. Dogo looked around, unsure on which horse to ride on.
"Hmm... what horse should I get on? They're all so pretty!"
"You can ride on Calypso with me," Watts offered.
"Okay!" Dogo hopped onto the horse.
"Next stop; the underwater kingdom!" Crusher cried before allowing him and Moonbeam to lead the way.
Meanwhile, Calara and Fortius were watching as the group made their way towards the ocean.
"Should we attack now?" Calara asked.
"Yes." Fortius growled. "We CANNOT let them get to the ocean and ally themselves with King Hydro."
"Then let's go!"
They used their magic, combining each power with each other before blasting towards the group.
"Whoa! Everyone, swerve!"
They screamed as they swerved their horses, dodging the magic blast. Fortius and Calara snarled.
"Drat! We missed!"
"Wait... I know that voice..." Crusher shuddered.
"It's…" they all turned to see the spirit of their enemy hovering above them with another truck. "FORTIUS!"
"Well... I see you all remember me. But what about my sister, Calara?" Fortius smirked.
"Aunt Calara." Samira growled.
"You will NOT lay a hand on my friend and his mom!" Blaze snarled. "Stripes! Lead the others to somewhere safe! I'll hold them off!"
"You sure, Blaze?" Samira asked. "They are very powerful..."
"I need you guys to be safe until our plan works out! GO!!"
Stripes nodded and led the others off. Only Crusher seemed hesitant as he stayed behind a bit, out of sight and within the clouds as Blaze and AJ faced Fortius and Calara.
"You'll have to catch us if you want us!" Blaze exclaimed. "Come on, Scarlet!"
Scarlet let out a neigh before flying in a different direction from the others. Calara snarled as she and Fortius went after them.
"AJ, you have to direct your magic to hold them back!"
"Okay, but I don't know how long I can keep them at bay!" AJ spoke before focusing his magic into his hands.
Flames started to appear at his fingertips before aiming it towards the villains. But as they dueled, Fortius got his, and as Blaze and AJ looked back, Calara took the chance and shot Blaze with a dark fire blast!
"AGH!!!!"
"BLAZE!" AJ screamed as Blaze fell off Scarlet.
"Good, you got one!" Fortius smirked at his sister's triumph. "Now go after the other one!"
Calara continued to battle AJ from the air, and Blaze suddenly fell and sank deeper and deeper into the ocean, much to Crusher's horror.
"AJ, forget the fight! It's not worth it! We have to get Blaze! NOW!!"
"Ugh... you're right! Let's go get your mom! Calara and Fortius, this isn't over!"
They flew towards where the others are. Samira looked relieved to see them until she realized that someone was missing.
"Crushy, AJ, where's Blaze??"
"He fell into the ocean after Calara put a dark magic spell on him!" AJ exclaimed.
"Who knows how long he'll be able to breathe!" Crusher exclaimed. "Let's hope a magic sea creature finds him and heals him until we get there..."

Meanwhile, Blaze held his breath as much as he could as he kept sinking deep into the ocean. But, his side was hurting him so much, he couldn't swim back up.
He was probably going to die down there...
And there was nothing he could do.
Just as he was about to close his eyes and accept his fate, a voice from nearby caught his attention.
"Oh my goodness! You poor truck!" the female voice gasped.
Blaze weakly glanced over to see a mermaid swimming forward. She frowned at the sight of him before twirling her hands to release her magic, granting Blaze a tail to help him breathe.
"Whoa... a... a mermaid!" Blaze gasped, before suddenly realizing he could breathe again. "And I can breath too? What's going on?"
"Well," the mermaid chuckled. "I'm Valia. As for the 'what's going on' question, look where your back tires used to be."
"U-Used to be...?" Blaze glanced down at his tires and gasped at the tail he had. "Woah! How… How did you…?"
"Mermaid magic. Are you okay? Your injury looks really bad."
"I… not really," Blaze hissed, the pain returning to his side. "I… I got hit pretty badly some dark magic,"
"Oh, I see... well let me see if I can help."
Valia swam closer to the injury before flicking her hands around. Her magic swirled around Blaze, much to his surprise as he watched the magic enter his wound. Little by little, the injury faded until it was healed.
"Wow... thanks! I'm Blaze, by the way."
"Nice to meet you, Blaze," Valia smiled. "Are you here all alone?"
"I was with my friends, but these two spirits attacked us, so me and my best friend tried to hold them off, but one of them blasted me and I fell down here."
"Oh, I see," Valia nodded. "Then come, let us go up and find your friends, shall we?"
"Good idea. My friend AJ will be really worried about me..."
They headed up to the surface, with Valia helping Blaze get used to his tail before they finally exited water. Blaze gasped as he was met with fresh air and the sky once more.
"Fresh air at last!"
"BLAZE!!" AJ practically leapt into his best friend's tires at the sight of him. "I was so worried! Who's your friend?"
"Oh, this is Valia," Blaze introduced. "She helped heal my injury and helped me to get back up here,"
"Hello, everyone!" Valia greeted before recognizing Samira, causing her to bow. "And oh my! P-Princess Samira!"
"Greetings, young mermaid," Samira smiled. "We wish to speak to King Hydro about helping us defeat the spirit of my father."
"Oh! Of course, your highness!" Valia bowed and motioned them to follow her.
Samira smiled gratefully before twirling her magic around the rest of the group, causing them to hover before sinking deep down into the ocean. Once they touched the water, tails of different colors occupied where their back tires used to be, causing them to gasp.
"Whoa..."
"Amazing!" Gabby gasped. "Can me and AJ get tails too?"
Samira nodded and swirled her magic towards the humans, whose legs swirled into mermaid tails as well. Crusher chuckled and dove into water with them, the lightning mark on his side glowing as he swam to them, no tail needed.
"Crusher, how are you able to breathe with no tail?" Gabby asked.
"Magic by blood, keeps us all with the ability to breathe anywhere, so we can visit other kingdoms with no hassle," Crusher replied as his mother joined him, no tail either.
"Lead the way, Valia," Samira spoke.
Valia nodded and led the group through the ocean. They passed many sea creatures along the way, friendly and happy as they went deeper and deeper into the ocean. They soon reached the underwater kingdom.
"Here we are!" Valia announced as they stopped in front of kingdom full of mermaids and underwater creatures of all kinds.
"It's so pretty!" Gabby sighs. "So, where is the palace?"
"This way!"
Valia swam ahead, and the others followed behind her. They soon reached a palace made of giant seashells, and merman guards standing at the entrance.
"We ask to speak with King Hydro, please."
The guards gave a bow and moved for Valia to lead them inside the palace. They entered through the halls and found themselves in front of a door leading to the throne room. Valia knocked on the door.
"Your majesty, King Hydro, you have the royals of the Enchanted Isle coming to see you,"
"Let them in," a gruff voice from inside spoke.
"Of course, your majesty," Valia nodded and opened the door.
They entered the throne room and found King Hydro in his throne room, staring down at the group. Said Merman King looked surprised at the sight of Samira.
"Princess Samira!" he swam up and gave a bow. "You are alive! I mean, I have gotten the news, but to see you alive? It is a shock, even to me," He turned to Crusher, and his eyes widened. "And this must be your son, King Crusher?"
"Um... yes, sire."
Samira nodded, motioning Crusher to swim forward. The dark blue truck nodded and swam forward with a bow.
"Your majesty, King Hydro,"
"What is it that you want, King Crusher?" Hydro asked.
"Um, I…" Crusher took a deep breath and held his head high to face the other king. "We are in need of help, King Hydro. The spirit of my grandfather Fortius has returned, along with his sister's, and we need help on fighting them,"
"I see..." Hydro looks like he was giving it a thought. "Hmm… and what would I gain if I do help you?"
"Your kingdom will be the next target after the sky kingdom and the Enchanted Isle. We could help each other."
"Hmm… that IS true…" Hydro nodded. "Well, I suppose that since it's all of our kingdoms at stake here, I might as well help stop those villains. Count me in!"
"Thank you." Crusher sighed in relief.
"Um... can I ask you a question, your majesty?" Blaze asked.
"Yes, you may," Hydro nodded.
"Did you or any of your subjects happen to find four adult jackals, recovering from a rockslide over the past few months?"
"Actually... one of my mermaids spotted some jackals limping near the shore, so I gave them the power to breathe and sent them here. Why?"
"Well…" Blaze smiled. "We found two jackal pups, and we thought we'd try and find their family if they were to survive a rockslide."
"If you can call them out for us, it would be most appreciated," Darington agreed.
"All right. Valia, bring Reirei, Saloma, Freedo and Goigoi in here please." Hydro spoke.
"Yes, your majesty," Valia nodded and swam off.
She returned a few moments later with four jackals swimming behind her. The four jackals swam to Hydro and bowed.
"You called for us, your majesty?" Reirei asked.
"Yes, Reirei. These trucks wanted to see you." Hydro motioned to the trucks.
Blaze looked to Reirei, who was fairly slender jackal, with tan fur which is lighter than her mate Goigoi and black markings across her back and legs as well as on the top of her head. Her underbelly, muzzle and feet are beige, her nose is black, and her eyes are green. Her chest is marked with several paler spots. She has a bushy tail with a black tip and a pair of large, pointed ears with small tufts of fur at their tips.
Her mate Goigoi had dark tan fur in a darker shade than his mate's. His back and tail tip are black, with four pale white spots near his shoulder. He has a bushy tail that is very skinny at the base. The fur along his back is long and scruffy, and his cheeks are distinctively rounder than Reirei's. His muzzle is long, thicker towards his nose, with a few teeth protruding from his lower lip. Goigoi's ears are both clipped, one of them having a small hole near the top, and his nose is dark brown. He has bushy black eyebrows, and several strands of fur stick up atop his head and hang down on his lower jaw. Three deep brown speckles are present on each side of his nose.
The other male looked similar to Goigoi, and the other female looked more similar to Reirei, but had blue eyes.
The jackals, on the other hand, recognized Samira and Crusher and bowed immediately.
"Y-Your majesties!" Reirei cried out. "You… You're all here!"
"Yes, but it wasn't us that called for you," Samira told her.
"It was me," Blaze drove forward. "Hello, my name is Blaze,"
"Um, hello," Reirei looked confused. "Why did you call for us?"
"You are the parents, aunt and uncle of Dogo and Kijana, aren't you?"
"Of course, if our pups are involved," Reirei smiled. "Right, Goigoi?"
But, to the others' surprise, Goigoi was fast asleep, much to Reirei's annoyance.
"Goigoi?" she asked again, nudging her mate with her back paw, waking him.
"Huh? Wha--? Oh, uh... whatever you say, dear," Goigoi said, still sleepy.
"Well, we know where your pups are!" Blaze told them.
"They're-- they're alive?!" Saloma, Reirei's sister gasped. "That's amazing!"
"Your majesty," Blaze said, "tell your strongest soldiers to prepare themselves, and then meet us at the surface in an hour."
"King Crusher?" Hydro turned to the king.
"Yes, whatever he said," Crusher agreed.
"Very well," Hydro nodded.
"Wait, would we be able to see our pups?!" Reirei asked.
"Of course," AJ said. "Just follow us."
The jackals nodded as they all turned to swim off. Crusher and Samira exchanged bows with Hydro before swimming after the group. They soon reached the surface, where their flying horses were waiting with them, along with Kijana, Dogo and Shani.
"Guys!" Shani yipped. "Did you get alliance with the king?"
"We sure did," AJ smiled, their back tires and legs turning back to normal. "And Dogo? Kijana? We have a surprise for you!"
"A surprise?" Dogo looked excited.
"Ooh! I love surprised!" Kijana squealed. "What is it?!"
Blaze and his friends stepped out of the way to reveal the adult jackals, and Reirei couldn't believe it.
Her babies... they were really alive!
"Kijana! Dogo!"
"MOM?! DAD?!" Kijana and Dogo gasped. "Aunt Saloma?! Uncle Freedo?! You're all alive!"
The jackals all hopped out of the water as quickly as they could. The pups, on the other hand, hopped off the horses and ran to the other jackals, embracing each other joyfully.
"You two are alive! Oh thank goodness!" Reirei hugged her pups the tightest. "But how?! How did you both survive the rockslide?!"
"I was saved by fairies, Mom!" Dogo cried out.
"And Blaze and AJ took me in after they saved me!" Kijana added.
"Really?" Reirei looked surprised before turning to Blaze and AJ with a smile. "Thank you for taking care of my baby girl, Blaze and AJ,"
"It was our pleasure," AJ said. "So now what do we do?"
"We head to the palace and wait for everyone to gather," Crusher declared.
"Alright, let's go," Blaze agreed.

"Argh!" Calara growled as she watched the group head to the palace.
"Let me guess-- they are heading to the palace as we speak?" Fortius muttered under his breath.
"And they're just about ready with their army and their new allies." Calara snarled. "What do we do, brother?"
"We stick to our plan. We are far more powerful, and besides... we hold the secret that can stop Crusher in his tracks."
"Indeed," Calara remembered.
"Come. We should follow them."

Meanwhile, at the palace, the group and their army and allies had finally gathered to discuss their plan.
"Alright, first things first, we need a battle strategy," Crusher spoke up.
"Well, surprise can't be an option. Since they're spirits, they could sense us coming," Shani said.
"Good point, Shani," Samira agreed. "so we need to be ready for them, but how?"
"What if... we pretend we're sleepin', and when they come to attack, we jump at em!" Goigoi said. "Or we could just take a nap."
"Good effort, Goigoi," AJ shrugged, scratching behind his ear. "But I don't think that will work."
"I have an idea!" Kijana said. "What if one of us is the bait, and the rest of us be ready to attack at the signal?"
"But who would be bait?" Crusher asked.
"I can do it," Kijana offered.
"Are you sure?" Blaze looked concerned.
"Trust me-- I'm a fast runner and swimmer. I'm sure I can lead them your way."
"Okay, okay…" AJ sighed. "but just… be careful,"
"I will," Kijana promised, licking the boy's face.
"Then we have a plan," Crusher gave a nod. "Queen Camilla, King Hydro, agreement to the plan?"
"We agree," Camilla nodded, as did Hydro.
"Alright then," Crusher took a deep breath and nodded. "Time to take our plan into action,"

"They must be assembling here, at the meeting room." Fortius hissed as he and Calara entered the room.
"Funny, I don't see anyone in here," Calara snarked.
"Ugh, they must have gone to the throne room--"
"HEY!"
The two spirits to see Kijana grinning and running towards them, skidding to a stop.
"Come and get me!"
"It's that sniving little jackal pup! Get her!"
The two spirits floated after the jackal pup, who dashed off and led them down the hall. They soon made it to the middle of the hall, where the spirits had her cornered.
"Uh oh... Blaze! We got em! NOW!!"
"WHAT?!"
The two spirits looked horrified as they were surrounded by the army, led by King Hydro, Queen Camilla, King Crusher and Samira, along with the rest of the gang.
"Surrender yourselves now, Fortius!" Blaze exclaimed. "Or we'll have to take you down by force!"
"Blaze?" Crusher put a tire on his rival's. "It's okay. Let me handle this."
Blaze nodded and drove back. Crusher drove forward to face the spirits, who smirked.
"He thinks he can handle us?" Calara cackled. "Brother, I guess we have to finish him... the same way we finished off his father..."
"Wh-What?" Crusher was taken back by the mention of his father. "What are you… talking about…?"
"Didn't my brother tell you?" Calara smirked. "I poisoned him in his sleep. Made it look like he had a heart attack in the night."
"What…?" Crusher glanced at his mother. "M-Mom…? D-Did you know…?"
"N-No baby..." Samira shook her head and turned to Fortius in horror. "You… You let Aunt Calara poison him…? How… How could you?!"
"I just... saw him unfit as future king." Fortius shrugged. "Too… weak,"
Crusher couldn't feel himself anymore. His surroundings were all a blur as he hyperventilated and drove backwards towards the group.
"Uh... what's Crusher doing...?" Dogo whimpered.
"Um… Crusher?" Blaze gently took him by the shoulders. "Are you okay…?"
Crusher didn't say anything. Instead, he was frozen in his place, too shocked and horrified to move.
"Oh dear..." Samira gulped. "I think Crusher is about to use a huge blast of power! Everyone, back up!"
As everyone backed away, Crusher began to glow brighter than ever, and launched a power blast at the two spirits, causing them to desinigrate.
"NOOOOO!!!!!"
When the power blast ceased, all was left of the spirits were smoke that floated up and disappeared. And seeing they were gone, Crusher finally broke down.
"Oh baby..." Samira sighed, hugging him. "I know, I know..."
"I... I miss Dad so much... I just wish I could see him..."
"Hmm… maybe you can," Samira smiled.
"Huh?"
She leaned back and took out a crystal ball. Crusher looked confused.
"W-What's that?"
"Your father's crystal ball," Samira replied, handing the crystal ball over. "Here,"
"It's beautiful," Blaze smiled. "What does it do?"
"It can help Crushy see his father once more,"
"I-It can?"
Samira nodded and smiled. Crusher's eyes lit up and glanced down at the crystal ball hopefully.
"I... I wish I could see my dad one more time."
The crystal ball glistened brightly before an image of his father appeared inside the ball of crystal. This made them all gasp.
"I-It's working!" AJ gasped.
"Dad..." Crusher tearfully smiled.
The image gave a smile and waved up at him.
"I love you..." Crusher whispered.
The image's smile widened and let out a silent laugh before it disappeared.
"Are you okay?" Blaze asked gently.
"Y-Yeah…" Crusher sniffled his tears. "I-I just… I never knew what happened to father… only heard that he died, but never knew how…"
"I'm sorry you had to find out from that devil of a grandfather and that witch," Pickle said.
"It's okay... at least I know now."
Kijana however looked really sad as she pawed AJ's leg. "I, uh... wanted to thank you for everything. I just... wish that we could stay together, but I don't think there's enough room for all us jackals in your house."
"Oh, that's right…" AJ glanced down at her sadly before turning to Blaze. "Blaze, what do we do about that…?"
"I... I don't know. I can't keep you from your family, Kijana." Blaze sighed.
"But I don't want to leave you both!" Kijana sobbed, hugging onto AJ's leg. "You... you're my family too!"
"Well... I have an idea," Stripes said. "The grown jackals and Dogo can stay in the reserve behind my house, and Kijana can visit whenever she wants."
"And Gabby and I talked it over," Watts admitted, "and we'd love to take Dogo in."
"REALLY?!" Dogo gasped.
"Can it be like that, Mom?! Dad?! Aunt?! Uncle?!" Kijana turned to the grown up jackals. "Can I stay with Blaze and AJ, and can Dogo stay with Watts and Gabby?!"
"Well... sure!" Reirei agreed. "As long as I still get to see my pups, we agree with it all, right, Goigoi?"
But again, Goigoi was asleep, so Reirei had to wake him. She kicked him back, causing him to jump up in shock.
"Whatever you say dear."
"YAY!!!" Kijana happily barked.
"Let's go home, team!"
"And I have the perfect way to get you there!" Samira smiled.
She swirled her tires together, causing magic to surround the group. They all gasped as the magic caused them to hover above the ground.
"Wow! We can fly!" Dogo yipped.
"We'll be back soon, Samira!" Blaze waved. "Thanks for everything!"
"Thank YOU as well, friends," Samira smiled.
"Yeah, thanks guys!" Crusher waved at them. "Come visit soon!"
"BYE!"
With that, the friends flew off the island and into the sky, heading towards their home.
