"A monster?" Commander Megan stared at the other commander in disbelief. "That's a little hard to believe, Abraham,"

["Not with how much data we've collected here in Mobius."] Abraham spoke, motioning to the data sheet nearby.

"The only monster I know are the monster MACHINES living in Axle City," Megan told him, crossing her arms. "And they aren't a danger to anyone, not even to humans,"

["And how do you know that they aren't?"]

"They have two human kids with them, one of them adopted by a truck couple, plus they've saved me before," Megan pointed out. "They're more human than other humans can ever be,"

["If you're so confident then you wouldn't mind if I come and check Axle City for myself?"]

"Be my guest," Megan nodded.

["Then I will be there, in two days time."]

"Grand Queen Aleena,"

"Oracle," Aleena yawned as she made her way to the porch of the farmhouse she bought near Axle City. "What brings you here so late?"

"A danger to young Prince Shadic," Oracle spoke grimly. "In two days time, HE will arrive,"

Aleena blinked before nodding. "I will be ready to go,"

"It is not just his life. It is also Prince Mauglie's,"

"Mauglie… is here as well?" Aleena's eyes widened. "How…?"

"He managed to follow after you a few days ago, curious to see what holds below the waterfall," Oracle answered. "He managed to get in contact with Prince Shadic as well, bonded with him to make up for loss time, but in two days time, their lives would be both in danger,"

"Understood," Aleena nodded and turned to head back inside the house and prepare.

{2 days later…}

Crysher felt something uneasy in the air as he, Mauglie and Pickle drove to the Monster Dome for the race. Oracle had appeared to him the night before, warning him of something dangerous coming for him and Mauglie, and he's been on edge since.

"Baby bro, you okay?" Mauglie asked.

"I… I don't know…" Crusher winced.

"Why? What's wrong?" Pickle asked as they entered the Monster Dome.

"I… I just need a little alone time," Crusher shook them off before heading to his racing pit all by himself.

As he did, Blaze spotted him leave, causing him to frown. He let AJ off of him to hang out with Gabby and Watts then he headed over to Mauglie and Pickle.

"Hey, is Crusher okay?"

"We don't know," Pickle shrugged. "but I'm worried,"

Blaze sighed and nodded. "I'm gonna go see if he's okay,"

"Wait, you don't have to-"

"I'll go with you!" Pickle offered, interrupting Mauglie.

Mauglie stared at them in disbelief as they drove off after his brother. They soon found Crusher inside his pit, hugging himself as he stared at the inhibilator rings he had on.

"Crusher?"

"Hmm?" The dark blue truck glanced up and flushed at the sight of BOTH of his… crushes at the entrance of his pit. "P-Pickle! B-Blaze! What are you two doing here?"

"We came to see if you were okay," Blaze told him.

"I… I don't think you'll understand…" Crusher sighed, turning away.

"Try me," Blaze drove to his side.

Pickle drove to his other side and gave him a hug. Crusher blinked at them, face burning as he looked down to avoid their eyes.

"Okay, it's just… something doesn't feel right today…"

"Really?" Blaze frowned. "How come?"

"I… I don't know…" Crusher hissed. "It… It's hard to explain…"

"Blaze! Commander Megan is calling us!" AJ called out, running towards the group.

"She is?" Blaze hesitantly got up and looked at his best friend. "How come?"

"She says that she's coming to Axle City with some company," AJ told him. "Some guy with the name… Towers? Commander Towers, something like that…"

Crusher stiffened at that. Pickle's eyes widened.

Oh no.

"Who's that?" Blaze asked.

"Some guy who wants to prove that there are no monsters, or something like that," AJ shrugged.

"Well, that depends on his definition of 'monsters'," Blaze sighed.

"He is demanding to see us monster machine racers," AJ added. "Something about them tracking down a monster in this area,"

Crusher felt his stomach fall as he hissed, his tires beginning to tremble. Pickle held him, so he wouldn't collapse as he helped him up. Blaze glanced over at him with concern.

"Crusher, is there something wrong?"

Before the dark blue truck could say anything, the sound of large vehicles approaching caught their attention. They all turned to see army trucks bursting into the Monster Dome.

Mauglie gasped and quickly hid behind the other pit rows as the rest of the racers headed front to meet the newcomers. AJ and Gabby came forward as well, as did Blaze while Crusher and Pickle stayed at the back, the green truck worried for the other, who was paling by the minute.

"Commander Megan!" The red truck greeted their friend, who came out of one of the army vehicles.

"Blaze, AJ," Megan returned the greeting with a smile. "And hello to the rest of your friends,"

"Commander Megan, what's going on?" Starla asked.

"Yeah, who are these people?" Stripes questioned.

"Commander Megan."

The group turned, and Crusher stiffened to see Abraham Towers walk down from one of the vehicles, sunglasses on his face as he came down to face them.

"Commander Towers," Megan nodded in acknowledgement. "Welcome to Axle City. These are my friends, Blaze and AJ,"

"Good to meet you, Commander Towers," Blaze greeted before motioning to their friends. "And these are our friends. Darington, Stripes, Zeg, Watts, Starla, Gabby, Crusher, and Pickle,"

"Hmm…" Abraham narrowed his eyes at them as he removed his shades. "Two human KIDS with monster machines…"

"Uh, is there something wrong with that?" Gabby asked.

"Nothing, nothing… unless you children are getting hurt by these… monster beings,"

"Again, they're not monsters," Megan corrected.

"We'll see about that," Abraham took out a piece of paper. "Let's get onto business. According to my readings, I have tracked down the use of a powerful energy called Chaos Energy in this city not too long ago,"

Crusher hissed at that. As did Pickle and Mauglie, who was still hidjg but observing the scene. The others all looked confused.

"Chaos Energy?" Darington repeated. "What's that?"

"A type of energy made by the God Chaos himself." Abraham growled. "One who wields energy like that above the normal amount of 60 is deemed a dangerous monster."

"And how much energy did you pick up here, in Axle City?" Watts asked.

"237." Abraham growled. "Too high from the normal setting."

"I'm sorry, Commander, but we don't know who could have that amount of this Chaos Energy," Blaze apologized.

"Oh, yes, but I know a way to find out," Abraham took out a machine. "I need the three fastest racers here, up front. Now."

Starla growled at the demanding human as Watts kissed her cheek and drove forward with Gabby. Blaze and AJ exchanged glances before driving forward themselves beside Watts and Gabby. Crusher gulped and took a deep breath but drove forward anyway, making his way to Blaze's side.

"We're the three fastest racers, sir," Gabby told the commander.

"Hmm… I see…"

Abraham nodded and headed over to Watts first. He stopped in front of her, his eyes glancing at the electric tires attached to her.

"Hmm… what an interesting pair of tires…" he spoke.

"They're… electric tires, Commander Towers, sir," Watts explained.

Abraham moved the machine towards her and narrowed his eyes at the screen. He lowered it to the electric tires, but the readings seemed to stay the same. He let out a sigh and nodded.

"You are not the one I'm searching for. Moving on!"

He turned to Blaze and walked towards him with the machine. He glanced over at the flame symbol at the sides of the red truck and narrowed his eyes.

"You… are a truck of power, aren't you?" he raised an eyebrow. "What kind of powers do you have, truck?"

"Erm, transformation and Blazing Speed," Blaze replied, motioning to his engine.

"Blazing Speed?" Abraham looked suspicious.

"It's from his engine, sir," AJ explained. "All of his family have the same powers,"

As he spoke, the machine in the commander's hands gave a red glow and a negative response. Abraham sighed and nodded.

"You seem honest enough. Moving on!"

Crusher swallowed as the commander he feared so much approached him. He tried to steady himself, tried to tell himself to keep his Chaos energy stable and not obvious as the human stood in front of him.

"You yourself are also a truck of power, I can tell," Abraham observed, his eyes falling to the markings on his sides. "And what… unique markings. How… familiar…"

"Erm, yeah…" Crusher drive back a bit to avoid getting closer to the commander.

"Tell me… Crusher, was it?" Abraham raised an eyebrow. "What power do you have…?"

"Uh, inventing robots…" Crusher cleared his throat. "And uh, pretty much it…"

"Hmm… truly?" Abraham didn't seem to believe him. "What do you use to… invent, exactly?"

"My… My chassis bag…" Crusher hesitantly motioned to the bag he had. "It… It's a part of me…"

Suddenly, the machine beeped green before exploding. Everyone stared in shock while Abraham smirked.

"Aha! I should've known…"

He took out a gun and pointed it at Crusher, who gulped and backed up. Blaze gasped and drove forward to defend the dark blue truck.

"Woah, woah! What do you think you're doing?!"

"Taking down the monster I should've killed years ago." Abrahan sneered. "Shadic Hedgehog-Robotnik."

"Crusher, what is he talking about?" AJ asked.

"I…" Crusher gulped.

"This place has deemed itself dangerous to humans, Commander Megan." Abraham sneered. "I order this place to be bombed and destroyed immediately!"

"WHAT?!"

Everyone stared at him in horror and shock. Crusher looked shocked before growling.

"WHAT?! YOU'RE GOING TO DESTROY THIS CITY, MY CITY, BECAUSE OF ME?!"

At his snarl, the markings on his sides turned red as his skin began to turn a darker shade of blue. His eyes glowed completely white as he began to hover up, a dark aura surrounding him, much to everyone's shock.

Only Pickle, who wasn't fazed but still surprised, managed to drive forward in attempt to calm him down.

"C-Crusher, calm… calm down…!"

"Ha ha! It really IS YOU!" Abraham laughed evilly. "Only your mother could only turn as dark as this! I KNEW that you were still alive, you monster!"

"YOU'RE THE MONSTER!"

The group turned to see Mauglie jumping out with a growl. He turned to Crusher, who was taken back by his older brother's appearance.

"Okay, Crusher, calm down," the ebony black truck told him. "Calm down, baby brother, I've got it handled,"

Crusher took a deep breath and slowly felt himself descend back on the ground, his eyes returning back to normal as the markings on his sides shimmered back in icy blue. Mauglie sighed in relief before hugging his brother close to him.

"Ah, Mauglie Hedgehog-Robotnik."

The latter growled and glanced up to glare at the human walking forward, a gun in his hand as he smirked. The ebony black truck's tires glowed green as he took out Chaos Chains from out of nowhere.

"Commander Abraham Towers."

"Nice to see you here, in Axle City." Abraham cackled.

"Better if I DIDN'T see you." Mauglie snarled.

He held out his chains and swirled it sound the commander, who snarled. He tried to fight it, but Mauglie kept him steady.

"Shadic, LEAVE!" he told his brother.

"But what about you?!" Crusher cried as the soldiers surrounded them.

"I'll be fine! Go! LEAVE!"

"And better make it quick!" Starla gulped as they were all circled, even Megan, who jumped into Blaze's driver seat for safety.

Crusher sighed and reluctantly held out his tires, which glowed green.

"CHAOS BUBBLE!"

Immediately, a bubble wrapped around them protectively, much to everyone's surprise. Crusher then took out his chaos emerald and held his breath.

"Chaos… Control!"

With that, they disappeared in a poof.
