"Next is in Eastern Mobius, in the facility of the Mobius Protection Force," Roarian spoke as they flew towards another part of Mobius.
"Ah, yes, my Uncle Ogilvie's facility," Crusher sighed and smiled. "As I remember, they have the white Chaos Emerald,"
"That is correct," Roarian nodded.
"Getting it should be easy then… hopefully," Crusher shrugged and moved forward. "The facility is this way, come on,"
They trekked forward, towards a part of the nearby forest. As they did, Blaze felt his fox ears twitch when he heard a neigh from far away. The noise made him stop.
"Hey, do you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" Starla lifted one of her rabbit ears to listen. "I don't hear- oh wait, now I do. Is that… a horse?"
"Yeah, I hear it too!" Stripes agreed as he looked around. "But where's it coming from…?"
They all glanced around, trying to figure out where the horse sound was coming from. Only Crusher stood still, arms folding as he raised an eyebrow.
"You guys are cautious… for a horse?"
"What if the horse is from a GUN agent in disguise?" Megan crossed her arms.
"Please, Uncle Gil wouldn't let GUN go NEAR horses," Crusher chuckled before raising his hand. "but if you insist me to help…"
He flicked his fingers, and a Chaos Bubble came out from his finger tips and towards where the noise came from. The neighing became louder, followed after a cry of shock as Crusher motioned the bubble to float back towards him.
When it did, it was carrying a white horse with a golden mane and tail and icy blue eyes. Crusher gasped in recognition.
"Amber?!"
The horse let out a neigh in reply. The dark blue hedgehog chuckled and snapped his fingers, releasing the horse from his Chaos Bubble. Amber let out a whine and a huff, glaring at the hedgehog, who chuckled.
"Hey, easy, girl," Crusher went forward and stroked her comfortingly. "It's okay. The others just wanted to see if you're friendly, that's all,"
"You know this horse, Crusher?" Stripes asked.
"Yep," Crusher nodded. "This is Amber, she belongs to--"
"AMBER! THERE YOU ARE!"
The group jumped and turned to see an albino hedgehog wearing a silver armour and helmet as he flew his way towards them using his sapphire blue psychokinesis power. He landed in front of them and straightened up at the sight of them.
"Strangers!" He took out his sword and swung it at them. "Why do you wish for my horse?!"
"Woah!" Pickle jumped back to avoid getting hit by the sword.
"We don't want to hurt your horse, promise!" Phoenix defended.
"Liars! Why else would you have taken her?!" the other hedgehog hissed.
"It was an honest mistake, truly, Police Knight Galahad," Roarian spoke with a bow.
"Yeah, cuz, chill out," Crusher chuckled and stepped forward. "It was all a misunderstanding,"
Police Knight Sir Galahad Hedgehog turned to him and froze in his spot. He dropped his sword in an instant as he took a step back.
"Sh-Shadic…?"
"Yeah…" Crusher chuckled and smiled. "Hey, cousin. Long time, long see,"
"You… You're alive…?" Galahad raised his visor, revealing golden eyes that shimmered in the light.
"Yep, alive and breathing," Crusher grinned before spotting his glove, which lacked the bump where the wedding ring should be. "And you… aren't married anymore…?"
"Oh… you've… noticed…" Galahad sighed and glanced down at his hand as he walked closer. "My husband and I… divorced after you were declared… gone. I… I wanted to battle GUN and get my vengeance, but he didn't care for you and just told me to move on. I got mad, and we argued and divorced a few days later…"
"Oh…" Crusher's eyes widened, feeling guilty. "I'm so sorry…"
"Eh, it is alright, cousin," Galahad was soon standing in front of his as he held his hands with a small grasp before embracing him. "I got to see his true colours, and now, you are home. I missed you very much, baby cousin…"
"Missed you too, big cousin," Crusher smiled and returned the hug.
Amber let out a neigh before moving her head between them, trying to get their attention again. They gave a laugh at the horse as they patted her head. Galahad then turned to the group and tilted his head.
"And who are your friends, Shadic?"
"Those who… who cared and loved me when I was staying in the world through the waterfall," Crusher replied. "Speaking of, that world is actually endangered right now because GUN and Towers are there,"
"They're WHERE now?!" Galahad looked horrified. "That's horrible!"
"And we require the seven Chaos Emeralds to defeat them," Roarian added.
"We already have two Chaos Emeralds, plus the one Mauglie has, so that makes three," Crusher pointed out.
"And now you require another?" Galahad smiled. "Don't you all worry, for I have the white Chaos Emerald!"
"Thank you, cousin!" Crusher beamed as the other held out the white Chaos Emerald from his quills.
"It is my pleasure!" Galahad smiled and bowed. "Are you sure you need no help of mine or of Mother's faculty?"
"No, no, I wouldn't want Uncle Gil, Uncle Lance or any of the police from MPF get hurt because of me," Crusher sighed. "I've… I've already hurt so much already anyway…"
"Dont say that, Crusher," Blaze stepped forward and held his shoulder. "It isn't your fault Axle City's in danger,"
"Yeah, it's GUN's fault," Pickle agreed with a nod.
"Listen to your admirers, cousin, it be not your fault," Galahad agreed.
"Admirers?!" Blaze and Pickle flushed in surprise.
"I… I suppose so," Crusher sighed and smiled.
"That is the spirit," Galahad laughed and hugged his cousin. "Now go, it seems you are needed,"
"Yeah, I am," Crusher grinned, but just as he turned, a thought made him turn back to his eldest cousin. "Oh! By the way, how is Orion? I haven't seen him in a while either,"
The mention of the name seemed to make the albino hedgehog stiffen. The dark blue hedgehog noticed this and frowned.
"Galahad? What's… wrong?"
"I… Orion, he…" Galahad hissed. "He left a few years back…"
"What? Why?" Crusher looked confused.
"He… found a lover… but father never approved, so he left…" Galahad sighed. "I… I miss him so much…"
"Oh…" Crusher walked forward and hugged his cousin. "I'm so sorry…"
"It… It is alright, I suppose…" Galahad smiled and kissed his forehead. "Go, cousin. You must leave. Your friends and city need you,"
"Okay," Crusher sighed and hugged him tighter before letting go and turning to leave.
"Come, the next emeralds are found in the other parts of Mobius," Roarian told him as he flew up. "Let us go,"
