"Ah… Animal Island!" Pickle sighed in relief as the submarine emerged from the water. "A perfect place for a vacation!'
"Pickle… out of all the places to go for vacation, why in an island full of animals?" Crusher grumbled.
"1) We need a vacation from stress from Axle City," Pickle pointed out. "And 2) I LOVE animals!"
"Of course…" Crusher sighed.
The submarine was parked then they jumped out of it and landed on the sand. Pickle grabbed onto the luggages, which got stuck in the hatch.
"Aw man…"
The green truck sighed and pulled on the luggages. Crusher turned to him with a raised eyebrow.
"Need some help?"
"No, no! I'm good! Go ahead and find us a shelter!"
"Alright…" Crusher sighed and drove off.
He drove through the jungles of the island, swatting away any branches and leaves that he might encounter. He soon passed the trees and found himself at the center of the island, where a waterfall was flowing down from an opening shaped like a lion opening its mouth.
"Hmm… this is a little cool, I guess…"
He drove to the waterfall to take a closer look at the place. As he did, he slipped on some puddles splashed on the rocks.
"Woah, woah!"
He stumbled back and yelped as he hit something behind the waterfall. He screamed as he then fell back into the water with a splash. The splash was so loud that it attracted all of the animals, who all rushed to the waterfall.
"What's going on?!" Bam the Gorilla asked.
"I heard someone fall into the water!" Bunk the Elephant cried out.
"But who?" Nelson the Rhinoceros asked.
"Argh… OW!"
The animals all turned to see Crusher pop out of the water as something hard and heavy fell on his head. Immediately, Bunk used his trunk to help him out.
"Oh, are you okay--"
As he set the dark blue truck down on the ground, however, he gasped and drove back in surprise. The other animals let out their own gasps as well as Crusher coughed out some water.
"Th-Thanks," he cleared his throat and glanced over at them. "Uh… is there… something wrong?"
"The crown!" Snout and Wartimer the Hogs cried out. "The Crown of the King of Animal Island!"
"And it's on him!" Skyler the Falcon let out a cry. "Our new king!"
"Wait, KING?!" Crusher glanced up at the crown on his head. "Oh…"
"What's your name, new stranger?" Bam asked.
"Uh, Crusher. Crusher's the name-"
"ALL HAIL THE NEW KING OF ANIMAL ISLAND!" Bunk exclaimed. "King Crusher!"
"M-Me? King?!" Crusher's jaw dropped.
Welp, Pickle was DEFINITELY going to kill him now. So much for a vacation.

"YOU'RE THE WHAT NOW?!"
Pickle looked shocked and bewildered as he stared at the dark blue truck. Crusher gulped with a nervous grin.
"Yeah…"
"HOW?! YOU HAVE TEN SECONDS TO EXPLAIN!"
"I… kinda stumbled and fell onto the waterfall, and the crown fell on my head--"
"IT WAS ALL AN ACCIDENT?!" Pickle glanced at him in disbelief. "CRUSHER INAZUMA GREENBANK, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ANIMALS, LET ALONE RUKE OVER THEM!"
"Then help me out, please?" Crusher begged. "Be my queen and help?"
Pickle took a deep breath and muttered things under his breath before sighing with a nod.
"Fine. I'll help… for the sake of the animals too…"
"Yippee! Thank you, hon!"
Pickle chuckled as Crusher led him through the jungle and towards the waterfall where everyone was gathered. The dark blue truck stepped forward and motioned to Pickle.
"Animals, say hello to you new queen of Animal Island, Queen Pickle!"
"A new queen?" Nelson looked confused.
"Yep," Crusher nodded.
"Huh, he doesn't look like a queen…" Lazard commented. "He's a guy,"
"First of all, don't assume my gender," Pickle scolded. "Second, I'll fix that,"
He took out his magic wand and waved it around. In an instant, a tiara similar to the crown on Crusher's head appeared, along with a sparkly Chartreuse dress. The animals gasped in amazement.
"Our new queen is a magician!" Bunk cried out.
"All hail our new king and queen!" Bam exclaimed, followed by a cheer from the rest of the animals.
"Okay, okay, thank you," Pickle settled them down. "Now, where do we stay exactly? As king and queen?"
"Well, there used to be a palace, but it's been destroyed since no one occupied it," Bunk admitted.
"Okay then! Time to build a castle!" Pickle smiled. "And maybe a shelter for you all too in case of emergencies!"
"That would be amazing, you majesties!" Skyler cried.
"My king, do you have the blueprints for it?" Pickle turned to the other.
"Yes, of course," Crusher chuckled and took out the blueprint of the castle he had always wanted to build but could never because of other things in life.
"Great! Let's get building!"

{Weeks later}
"Woah!" Darington gasped Swoops flew the whole gang to over the ground. "Is THAT Animal Island?!"
"Yep!" Stripes grinned and nodded. "Welcome to Animal Island, everyone!"
"Animal Island big and jungly!" Zeg cried out.
"And that's one nifty castle over there!" Starla observed.
"Wait, castle?" Blaze looked confused. "Huh, was there a castle here before?"
"No, not that I remember," Stripes shook his head.
"Oh yeah! I heard about that!" Swoops laughed. "Apparently, there's this new King and Queen of Animal Island, and that is their castle;"
"Huh, I wonder who could this new King be?" AJ wondered.
Swoops soon landed on the field just near the castle. They all hopped off to be greeted by Skyler.
"Heya, Blaze, AJ, Stripes!" she waved a wing over at them. "And hello, new friends!"
"Hey, Skyler!" Stripes returned the greeting.
"These are our friends, Starla, Zeg, and Darington!" AJ introduced.
"Howdy!"
"Hello!"
"Hi there!"
"Nice to meet you all!" Skyler smiled. "You're here JUST in time! The King and Queen of Animal Island was just about to on their rounds to check on us!"
"Speaking of, who ARE the King and the Queen of Animal Island?" Stripes asked.
"You're about to find out because… there they are!"
The group turned to the direction Skyler was pointing at. When they did, their jaws dropped to see who the king was…
"CRUSHER?!"
"Oh, hello," Crusher greeted bluntly as he drove towards them. "What are you all doing here?"
"US?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE WITH THE CROWN OF ANIMAL ISLAND?!" Stripes yelled.
"Uh, Pickle and I came for vacation, and I sorta… got this on accident," Crusher shrugged. "It fell on my head when I slipped inside the waterfall,"
"You became king… on ACCIDENT?!" Blaze looked bewildered.
"And I'M his queen!" Pickle boasted as he drove forward in his dress. "See the dress and tiara? I'm TRULY the QUEEN!"
"Are you sure that Crusher isn't an abusive king…?" Stripes whispered to Skyler.
"Nope! He's a great king!" Skyler told him.
"They're both great leaders!" Bunk exclaimed as he and Bam joined the group. "Our king watches over us and sees all our troubles personally!"
"And our queen plays with us as much as he takes care of us!" Bam added.
The group looked at them in disbelief.
Well, this was gonna take a while to get used to.
