It had been many months since the gang had met Gasquatch. Every time he came to visit, Crusher did all he could to not bump into the brown truck because every time he did, it gave him horrid memories and an uncomfortable amount of nostalgia.
It didn't help that Gasquatch visited most of the time and met everyone in the city, deeming them all his friends, even Watts, who had moved in a few months ago.
Even then, he was still willing to stay away from him as much as he could…
Until…
"Ding Dong!" rang the doorbell to Crusher and Pickle's apartment.
"I'll get it!" Pickle chirped as he zoomed toward the door.
He opened it to reveal the mailman, holding out a gold and silver envelope.
"Mail for… Crusher Greenbank?"
"Oh yeah he lives here let me get him!" Pickle exclaimed.
A few seconds had passed and Pickle hasn't moved an inch.
"So, are you going to get him or-"
"CRUSHER YOU HAVE MAIL!" Pickle yelled, startling and cutting off the mailman.
"Why didn't I expect that…?" The mailman grumbled.
"COMING!" Crusher's voice came from inside.
He soon appeared behind Pickle. He glanced down at the letter and took it in his tires, reading the back before shaking his head.
"Thanks, but no thanks,"
"So, do you want me to send it back or-"
"What even is it?" Pickle asked cutting off the mailman for a second time.
"Invite… to the festival and race my so'called parents are holding," Crusher groaned and handed it back. "Send it back and tell them to suck it up because I'm not going,"
"So do I send it back-"
"Aw, but Crusher, why don't you wanna go?" Pickle asked cutting off the mailman once again.
"They tried to kill me. No doubt they'll do it again," Crusher huffed.
"But Crusher what if they've changed?" Pickle asked.
"They just killed your parents last year, what do you MEAN-?!"
"I prefer not to think about that." Pickle muttered. "But look on the bright side anyone's capable of change! Even if it's only been a year!"
Crusher sighed. "Do YOU want to go?"
"Um... No." Pickle replied.
"Then we're not going!" Crusher turned away.
"Can I leave now..." The mailman grumbled.
"Actually I changed my mind, I do want to go!" Pickle blurted.
"What?" Crusher groaned. "Why??"
"It'll be a good opportunity for us to get out of the apartment...?" Pickle said nervously.
"Ugh, fine," Crusher sighed and snatched the letter and handed it to Pickle. "But if there's a bomb attached to it, throw it away,"
"Ok!" Pickle replied cheerfully.
"I can finally leave!" The mailman sighed in relief and headed off.
Pickle opened the envelope and narrowed his eyes.
"Hmm, that's weird,"
"What's weird?" Crusher asked.
"Crusher… your parents didn't send this. Your Grammy did,"
"WHAT?!"

"WA-HOO!" Gasquatch cheered as he played with Blaze and AJ at Darington's park.
"Wow, that looks fun!" the stunt truck laughed as he drove forward.
"It IS fun!" Gasquatch responded enthusiastically.
"Wanna join us, Darry?" Blaze asked.
"Sure!" Darington beamed and hopped onto the pit. "Wa-hoo!"
"Mail! Mail!"
The group turned to see the mailman driving towards them. He held out a silver and golden envelope as he smiled.
"Mail for… Gasquatch Greenbank?"
"Yup, that's me!" Gasquatch said, driving towards the mailman.
"Got this for ya!" the mailman handed the envelope. "From… Diana Greenbank,"
"Ooh, from Grammy?!" Gasquatch's eyes lit up. "Yay!"
"Your Grammy?" Blaze drove over in curiosity.
"Yeah! She always sends the best letters!" Gasquatch laughed.
"So what did she send you this time?"
"Let me see!" Gasquatch opened the envelope. "Ooh! It's an invitation!"
"An invitation to what?" AJ asked.
"To a festival and a race in… my hometown," Gasquatch's excitement suddenly deflated. "Sponsored by… my parents…"
"Why would she send you an invite for that, I thought your parents were horrible people?" Darington asked.
"She's probably trying to find an excuse to see me since my parents treat her like a slave," Gasquatch sighed.
"Ah that makes sense..." Darington mumbled.
"Wait. Why are they treating her like a slave?!" AJ asked.
"Well, Grammy is as sweet as honey, but she could be very submissive," Gasquatch explained. "She'd do anything for her family, even if she has to bow down to them,"
"Oh, well maybe if you visit her they'll give her a break! At least I hope they will..." AJ said.
"Yeah, even if I might strangle them if I see them…" Gasquatch murmured.
"I mean you could take revenge on them while you're there... But just think about all the fun you could have there!" Blaze encouraged.
"Yeah… hey, you guys want to come with me?! I could use some company!" Gasquatch offered.
"Of course we'd all be happy to come!" AJ exclaimed.
"Hooray!" Gasquatch cheered. "To Affluen-City, we go!"
