Meanwhile, the group were bored as they waited in the Warren.

"I feel something really bad has happened..." Pickle whimpered.

"Let's hope not," Darington shuddered.

"Uh, guys, is it just me or is Blaze still upset?" Watts glanced over at the red truck, who was brooding at a corner of the Warren.

"You... okay, Blaze...?" Zeg asked.

"No, I'm not." Blaze hissed.

"Wanna talk about it...?" Starla asked.

"I just... I can't believe Jokul and Aster would shut us out like this," Blaze shook his head.

"They just didn't want us to get hurt..." AJ said uneasily.

"But we can handle it! We've faced the Snow Queen and so many others before!" Blaze sighed. "And Crusher is OUR friend. I just... I feel so useless..."

AJ never heard Blaze talk like this before. It... was truly saddening.

"Blaze, I..."

"GUYS!"

"Huh...?"

The group turned to see Crusher zoom towards the Warren, eyes closed and tearing before he fell to his tires.

"Crusher, you're okay!" Blaze exclaimed.

"G-Guys... I... I messed up..." Crusher sobbed as the group surrounded him.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," Pickle said. "Just tell us what happened..."

"I..." Crusher opened his eyes, revealing golden orbs as he smirked. "I was never broken out of Pitchiner's control."

Blaze's eyes widened in shock as he backed up. "Guys, RUN!!"

The group gasped as they turned to run off. But Crusher managed to spread his dark cages towards them, surrounding them and capturing them.

"No! Let us out!" AJ begged.

"Pitchiner... I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!" Blaze finally screamed at the top of his lungs. "HE IS BREAKING US ALL APART!! HE'S THE REASON CRUSHER IS ACTING LIKE HIS PSYCHOMANIAC MOM AND IS TORTURING US!! I HATE HIM!!"

"Oh, as if it's the first time someone has said that?"

The group turned to see Pitchiner appear in front of them with a scoff. Blaze growled.

"You already have Jokul, you psychopath!! Why do you need us?!"

"To make sure NO ONE stops me from achieving my REAL goal." Pitchiner sneered.

"AND WHAT IS THAT?!" Blaze asked as his eyes began glowing a bright gold.

"To take over the world with my Nightmares." Pitchiner smirked. "Starting with YOUR city."

"Leave our city alone, you heartless freak!" AJ exclaimed.

"It's no wonder you had to find someone to manipulate," Blaze said. "YOU'RE AS WEAK AND PATHETIC AS YOUR STUPID POWERS!!"

"Let's see who's weak, Blaze." Pitchiner raised an eyebrow as he approached him challengingly. "The one with powers... or the one with feelings."

He stomped his tire, releasing Crusher from his control as the dark blue truck gasped and fell on his tires once more.

"No... I-I couldn't have...!!"

"Yes, you have," he turned to see Pitchiner raised a dark ice sword from out of nowhere towards him. "And now, you are truly of no use to me."

With that, he pushed the sword through him with great force, much to the others' horror.

"NO!!"

Crusher choked on his breath as he felt slipping away. The sword was retracted, and he fell on the ground, oil and blood spilling on the tender grass under him.

"CRUSHER!!" Pickle cried, tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Have fun weeping...!"

Pitchiner laughed mockingly before he disappeared. Pickle hugged himself as he wept.

"This can't be happening..." AJ hissed. "What do we do, Blaze...?"

The red truck had already turned away, trying his best not to break down.

"B...?" Darington reached into his boyfriend's cage. "Are you... okay?"

"This... THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!! I'M THE ONE WHO GOT CRUSHER INTO THIS!! HE REALLY IS DYING BECAUSE OF ME!! MY WORDS TO PITCHNER WERE SUPPOSED TO MAKE HIM BACK DOWN!! NOT MAKE HIM STRONGER! NOW THE WORLD IS DOOMED... BECAUSE OF ME!!! NOW JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

The group were taken back by the other's rage and yelling. They had not once heard him rage like this.

Never like this.

It was shocking.

And scary.

And very unlike Blaze at all.

"Blaze..." AJ stepped forward towards him. "Please don't say that this is all your fault,"

"It is, AJ! Nothing you or anyone else says will get me to say otherwise!"

AJ sighed and backed down. Darington looked hurt but backed down anyway. Pickle winced at his tone of voice, as did everyone but knew they couldn't do much, so they backed down as well.

The green truck had turned away and was now focusing on Crusher, who hadn't moved from his spot since Pitchiner had hurt him. He sniffled his tears as he tearfully stared.

"Crusher... I'm sorry..." he spoke in a whisper. "I... I wish I never asked where that staff came from in the first place..."

"Now, don't go blamin' yourself either, Pickle," Starla told him.

"I... okay..." Pickle nodded and sighed.

Just as they were just about to think of a way out, a little chirp came from nearby.

"Huh...?"

The group turned to see a little humming bird-like truck fairy creature enter the Warren, aquamarine feathers on her back as she flew towards them.

"Hello, little one," Watts greeted with a smile. "Aww, look at this precious thing!"

"Yeah... it's cute I guess..." Blaze said as tears continued to roll down his cheeks in misery.

The little creature huffed and flew towards Crusher. She blinked down at him before trying to wake him up with a few pats on his head but to no avail.

"Sorry, little cutie..." AJ sighed sadly. "I'm afraid he's too far gone..."

'Jokul will definitely blame me now...' Blaze thought in his mind.

The little creature didn't seem to hear him as she continued to pat his head. She then huffed and flew inside the cottage. She came back carrying heavy a wooden stick and a heavy-looking sack as she struggled to fly.

"What's she doing?" asked Stripes.

She dropped the wood in front of Crusher then the sack. She pushed the wood to his tire then she entered the sack and came out with golden sand and moondust in her tires. She sprinkled it on the wood, causing it to glow a bright icy blue with silver skulls.

"Uh..." the group exchanged glanced in confusion as the wood caused an ice to spread all around the dark blue truck.

Suddenly, the ice broke under the truck's weight, causing him to fall inside the ice cold pond, which the wood had also created.

"What is she doing?" AJ asked quietly.

Suddenly, the ice cold pond gave an icy blue na dark blue glow. They all gasped as Crusher rose from the water, his dark blue skin turning darker while his lightning blue markings glowed icy blue.

"What's going on...?"

The magical moon dust surrounded Crusher before a glow came from him, causing him to open his eyes, which had become misty white as he was set down with the wood, which had transformed into a staff.

"W-What...? What happened?"

"CRUSHER!!" Pickle gasped in amazement. "You're alive!"

"I am, buddy... I really am." Crusher chuckled and glanced down at himself.

The little creature chirped and cheered as she flew over to him happily.

"Aww... hi!" Crusher giggled.

The little creature chirped up in her little chirp noises. Crusher seemed to understand as he nodded.

"So you're name is Baby Tooth, huh?"

The creature nodded.

"You can understand it?" Watts asked.

"Apparently I can," Crusher held out his tire, causing the chirping creature to land on it. "And boy is she chatty,"

"What is she exactly?" Darington asked as they all leaned against their cages (except Blaze). "I've never seen a creature like her before."

The creature chirped up. Crusher nodded.

"She's saying that she's a fairy and one of the helpers of Queen Toothiana, a.k.a the Tooth Fairy,"

"Really?! Cool!" Darington beamed.

Crusher giggled in enthusiasm before noticing Blaze looking angry.

No, sad.

No... depressed?

Maybe a mix of all three.

"Is... Blaze okay?"

"Uh, well…" AJ hissed. "He's feeling a little… well, a lot… guilty,"

"He thinks you dying is his fault!" Pickle blurt out. "But it isn't! You would never blame him for something like that... right?"

"I'd blame him for a lot of things, but all this…? No, I wouldn't," Crusher shook his head. "I would never,"

"But... if I had taken the hit from the beginning, you wouldn't have been a victim to his spell," Blaze sobbed. "Pitchiner would have been stopped, and we would all be okay..."

"No, because he'd use YOU instead of me to do his bidding," Crusher drove to him. "Whatever happened, Pitchiner planned it. In the end, he was going to kill me anyway, no matter who would've gotten the hit. You shouldn't beat yourself up because of me, Blaze,"

"I guess not... but what do we do now? He's gonna use his magic to turn the world into an eternal nightmare! And we can't do anything in these cages!"

Baby Tooth chirped up. Crusher was taken back.

"Wait, really? You did that?"

"What did Baby Tooth say?" AJ asked.

"She said that since I still had some Nightmare Sand in me, she mixed it with some Dream Sand to stabilize it then added moondust, so I could have the powers of not only ice but also dream and nightmares itself,"

"Go for it!" Watts exclaimed.

"Alright…"

Crusher took a deep breath and raised his tire. Suddenly, the cages started to shake before slowly disintegrating.

"It worked! We're free!"

The group all cheered. Only Blaze was not back to his usual enthusiasm but managed to pull off a fake smile.

"Thanks, Crusher."

"No problem," Crusher smiled, noticing the fakeness of the other's smile, but didn't want to point it out just yet. "Now come on! We still need to rescue Dad, Aster and Sanderson!"

"But how?" Stripes asked.

"Pitchiner have them!" Zeg cried.

"We'll have no choice but to face them." Blaze declared.

"If only we had magic like Crusher... then we could be evenly matched!" Darington sighed.

Baby Tooth lit up before flying to the sacks of moon dust and Dream sands. She chirped up, handing the sacks to Crusher, who's eyes widened.

"Hey, that's a great idea, Baby Tooth!"

"What's a great idea?" Starla asked.

"Baby Tooth said that these moon dust will help give each of you guys a power that you can use as long as the moon dust is still on you," Crusher explained, handing the moon dust sacks.

"Then, let's get it on!"
