Meanwhile, back in the palace of the kingdom, King Acheron and his sisters were in the throne room, with the king sitting down on his throne in peace.
"Ahh... the kingdom at my feet... this is the life."
"At OUR feet, you mean?" One of his sisters, Tabla, raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, yes, OUR feet." Acheron rolled his eyes. "At least NOTHING could ruin this peaceful, relaxing day..."
"Uh... you said something, bro? Look!"
Randora pointed over at the large crystal they had in the middle of the throne room. Turns out, his son and some friends of his were heading into his territory!
"WHAT?!" Acheron jumped off his throne. "THAT BRAT IS ALIVE?!"
"Apparently so." Randora hissed. "We have to stop him before he overthrows us!"
"Some earth giants could do the trick." Tabla cackled and held out earth crystals.
She blew them towards the crystal ball, where they penetrated and headed towards the group.
Meanwhile, the group had just entered the kingdom's lands and were looking around in wonder and amazement.
"It's sooo beautiful!" AJ gasped.
"Yeah!" Pickle agreed. "Look at this place! Pretty flowers everywhere! Colorful trees surrounding us! A bunch of Earth Giants heading towards us-"
"Wait... WHAT?!"
The group gasped to see the earth giants stomping towards them, looking angry as they bashed every tree and rock in their path.
"Uh... any ideas how to stop them?!" Feliks gulped.
"Maybe it's a good way to test out our new magic!" Blaze suggested.
"Good idea! Pickle, you first!"
"Wa-hooo!!"
Pickle cheered and zoomed over to the giants. His eyes glowed as much as his stripes as he called upon the vines from the trees nearby. They wrapped around the giants in attempt to stop them.
"Ha ha!"
The earth giants struggled at the vines before breaking out of them with a roar.
"Uh... or not!" Pickle gulped and drove back. "AJ, Sparkle, help!!"
AJ and Sparkle nodded and rushed to the front. Their hands and tires erupted in flames before they blasted the giants. In an instant, they were burnt to crisp by their flames.
"Oh YEAH!!" AJ and Sparkle high-tired with a cheer.
"That was easy!" Sparkle beamed.
"An easy start, you mean," Crusher hissed.
"What do you mean?" Blaze asked.
"No doubt this is either father's work or the work of Aunt Tabla and/or Aunt Randora," Crusher crossed his tires.
"Don't worry-- we'll be ready for them."
"If you're sure..." Crusher sighed and watched Varya lead them off.
Pickle frowned and drove to his side. "You okay...?"
"It's just... they're underestimating how much father and my aunts can do," Crusher shuddered. "I just don't want them to get hurt... because of me,"
"They're too strong to be struck down, trust me." Pickle chuckled.
"My mom was strong, and... look what happened," Crusher sighed.
"What... did happen...?" Pickle asked.
"I..." Crusher shook his head.
Pickle sighed and wrapped a tire around him. "Come on, let's just catch up with the others,"
"Okay..." Crusher nodded and went off with him.
Meanwhile, Acheron snarled as he watched the group still made their way towards the palace, no scratch on them from the previous attack.
"DRAT!!!!"
"Calm down, brother, I know a better way to stop them," Randora volunteered.
"How?" Acheron raised an eyebrow.
"Watch and learn, sis." Randora smirked, glancing at Tabla.
The other rolled her eyes as Randora took out snow crystals and blew it towards the crystal ball. It penetrated through and towards the mountain where the group were passing by. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and the group gasped to see the snow rolling down the mountain.
"AVALANCHE!!"
"We have to take cover!" Varya cried out.
They zoomed and ran off to get away. They soon found a cave nearby and headed inside as fast as they could.
"Is everyone okay?" Blaze questioned, looking around.
"Just… peachy," Crusher hissed as they all nodded.
"But look!" Sparkle said as the snow covered the entrance. "We're trapped in here!"
"Sparkle, you and I can try and melt the snow and ice while the rest of you look around," AJ said. "There might be a secret exit."
"Good idea, AJ!" Blaze smiled and nodded.
