Epilogue

The next day, Fifi La Fume was in her bedroom sleeping when the telephone rang. Fifi groaned as she woke up and picked up the phone. She still had the bandages from her injury yesterday. "Bahnjour?" asked Fifi. "Fifi, it's me, Ash Ketchum," said a voice on the other end of the phone. "Oh, Ahsh. You sahw ze gahme?" asked Fifi. "We did. I can't believe Michael Jordon actually played with you guys," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "Eet wahs my idea to recruit heem een ze first plahce," said Fifi. "Really," said Sorrel. "We saw how the Monstars played dirty and hurt most of the toons, including you. Are you okay?" asked Pikachu. "I'm okay, but I'm steell sahre een ze side. "It's amazing how Furrball was one of the major players who helped win you toons your freedom. Does that mean his abuse will finally stop?" asked May. "I dahn't know. Sahme toons like Sweetie ahren't willing to give up zeir caht ahbuseeng ways," said Fifi grimly. "She's that stubborn, huh?" asked May. "But on ze bright side, Furrbahll hahs earned two new friends; Penelahpe Pussycaht ahnd Julie Bruin, who hahppens to be a caht lahvair," said Fifi. "That's good to hear," said May. "Because sahme of us toons ahre tahkeeng lahngair to recahvair, school aht Ahcme Looniverseety wahn't resume unteel a week lahtair," said Fifi. "Well, you toons need to be in top condition to do classes effectively," said Verity. "Oui. Befahre he left, Meechael signed my bahll fahr me," said Fifi. "Sweet," said Pikachu. Just then, Fifi heard her mother's voice. "Fifi, breakfahst ees ready," called Fleur. "Oh. I gahtta go, Peekahchu. Mahthair hahs fineeshed cookeeng breakfahst. Au revoir. Keesses," said Fifi. Fifi made some kissy noises as a way of flirting. On Pikachu's end of the phone, the speaker part of the phone turned into a pair of pink kissy lips. Pikachu shuddered due to it. Fifi then hung up and went downstairs to eat some breakfast.

Back in the real world, in a gym, the five NBA players that the Nerdlucks stole the talents from were practicing without their talent. "Guys . . . we suck," said Charles. He sat down. "Yeah, man. My grandmother played better than I do," said Larry. "At least you guys are still tall. I'm nothing now. I'm just another short guy," said Muggsy. "You got that right," said Charles. "That's the only thing that's right," said Larry. Just then, the five heard somebody walk into the gym. They turned and saw it was Michael Jordon and Stan Podolak. But they didn't recognize him, at first. "Who's that?" asked Patrick. "Who's that?" asked Larry. "I don't know," said Muggsy. "Been getting your butts kicked, haven't you?" asked Michael. "Who's that?" asked Muggy. "It's Mike," said Charles. "What's up?" asked Muggy. The five players got up and walked up to Michael and Stan.
"Hey, man what are you doing here?" asked Patrick. "Don't be embarrassed. Just face it. You guys stink," said Michael. "Come on, Mike lighten up," said Larry. "I know, and you all want your games back, huh? What little games you had to begin with," said Michael. "It's hard enough as it is, Mike," said Shawn. "Come on, give us a break," said Charles. "I'm gonna regret this. Stan, give me the ball," said Michael. Stan bent down and unzipped the bag, showing them the ball that has their talent inside it. It was still glowing. They all looked at it with awe as Michael held the ball. "Look at that," said Larry. "Looks like something from Star Trek," said Muggsy. "Touch it," said Michael. "No way. Jose," said Shawn, shaking his head. "Pat, you want your talent back? You don't have any other choice. Just touch it," said Michael. "I don't know, man," said Patrick. "Don't touch that, man," said Larry. "Okay, you're gonna walk around with a bad game for the rest of the career. Touch the ball," said Michael. "Be careful, Pat. We've tried everything else," advised Shawn.
Patrick Ewing slowly reached out to touch the ball. He touched it. He exhaled in relief, knowing nothing happened. "Thank goodness," said Patrick. "Come on, Charles. Touch it. The rest of you guys. Just touch it," said Michael. Everybody else reached for ball. While they were touching it, the ball shook and the glowing intensified. Their talents went back inside of their bodies. They moved their hands off the ball. Stan and Michael smiled at this. "Oh, man!" said Larry. "What was that?" asked Charles. Michael passed the ball to Muggsy and he caught it. He was surprised that he can play again. "Hey. Hey, I caught it!" said Muggsy. He began dribbling the ball and doing the rock. "Hey, look at Muggsy handle the rock. Handle it baby," said Patrick. "I can handle that rock again!" said Muggsy. He passed the ball to Larry Johnson. "That's the old Mugs I know," said Larry. "Yeah, get height now," said Patrick. Larry slam dunked the ball. "Yeah!" said Patrick. "It gave me my powers back!" said Larry. Charles Barkley took the ball. "That wasn't bad. Let me show you something," said Charles. "Let me see," said Larry. Charles slam dunked the ball. "Whoo!" said Larry. "The round-mound is back," said Patrick. He took the ball. "You wanna see something?" asked Patrick. He slam dunked the ball. "Oh, man that felt good," said Patrick. Shawn Bradley slam dunked the ball next. "I got it," said Shawn. "You got it. Yeah, baby," said Muggsy.
Michael and Stan smiled that they finally got their talents back and they're able to play basketball again. As they started to leave, the five NBA players turn to see them leave. "Hey, Michael. Why don't you stay? Play some 3-on-3 with us," said Charles. "No. I don't think so," said Michael. "What are gonna do, work on that baseball swing?" asked Charles. "Now leave the baseball player alone, man. You know he doesn't play basketball anymore," said Patrick. "You know, he probably doesn't have it anymore, guys," said Shawn. "Michael, do you hear them? They don't think you can play the game anymore," said Stan. Michael smiled at his basketball friends and they smiled back at him. "There's only one way to find out," said Michael.
Later, at the Chicago Bull stadium, there was a big game. "The Chicago Bulls welcome back . . . Michael Jordan!" said the announcer. Michael was walking through the crowd of cameraman and reporters The crowd cheered loudly for him. A bull balloon was floating in the air and it had a sign that read "Welcome back, Michael." The lights turned on and it was time for the basketball game. On the stands, Bill Murray and Larry Bird sat down to watch the game. Bill felt sad. "What's the matter, Bill?" asked Larry, with concern. "Larry, that could have been me," said Bill. "Will you get off that kick? It's over. It's done with. You can't play," said Larry. "Okay. Let's go bulls!" said Bill. A Bulls player steals the ball and passes it to Michael. He dribbled the ball down the court, ran to the hoop and slam dunked the ball. The crowd cheered loudly.
Things had started to go back to normal a week after the big game. The Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs were back on TV. Mr. Swackhammer was still stuck on the moon with no way back to Moron Mountain. Speaking of which, Moron Mountain was purchased by Queen Tyr'ahnee of the Martians and she started to make changes for the better. Very soon, all the toons (except Elmyra and Sweetie) had recovered from their injuries and classes at Acme Looniversity finally resumed. All the young toons were gathered at the gymnasium. Among some of the toons were the Nerdlucks, who were enrolled as the newest students. Bugs Bunny was present too. "Ladies and gentletoons, I'm pleased to announce that we have a new P.E. teacher," said Bugs. He stepped aside to reveal the new P.E. teacher was none other than Lola Bunny. She was now wearing a yellow tank top and purple shorts. The young toons were surprised. "Listen up everybody, even though we saved everybody, I'm still not going to go easy on you in your gym class. You youngsters need to be in tip top shape if you're to outrun and outwit Elmyra once she fully recovers from her injuries. So you mustn't get lazy during this time. Do you understand?" asked Lola. The toons nodded. "Good," said Lola. She turned to Babs Bunny. "So, Babs, is that position of being your new mentor still open?" asked Lola. Babs' eyes widened and they became all sparkly. "Alright!" said Babs.

Bugs Bunny emerged from the Looney Tunes bullseye. "Well, dat's all, folks!" said Bugs. Porky Pig popped up next to Bugs. "Eh, th-th-th-that's my line! Th-th-th . . . ," said Porky.

Daffy appeared in between the two. "Step aside, babe! Let a star do this! THAT'S ALL- YEOW!" cried Daffy. He was pushed out of the iris by the Nerdlucks. "THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!" said Nerdlucks. Just then, Michael Jordan lifted up the bullseye outro. "Can I go home now?" asked Michael. He pulled the bullseye down. As the words, "That's all folks!" wrote itself, Fifi La Fume emerged, waving her tail at the readers and said, "Au revoir mahn petite pahtahto du couch!"

Well, that's the end of the story. I hope you enjoyed reading this adaptation of Space Jam. I suppose you're all wondering, am I going to adapt Space Jam: A New Legacy at one point? Well, I'm not sure because of how some people don't like it and because of Pepé Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat's exclusion. What I might do is do my own sequel with Pepé and Penelope as the lead toons. But I could add some elements from A New Legacy. But it may depend. But anyway, I'm going to work more on "The Untold Story of Fifi's Vacation" cause if I worked on "New Bonds" now, it might spoil some of the episodes of "Fifi's Vacation" I'm going to write. I'm sure you'll understand. ToonFanJoey is also making his own remake of A New Legacy and other stories he recommends you check out. But anyway, Happy 25th anniversary, Space Jam!
